Abstract

Indonesian elementary students' reading literacy remains critically low, with 2018 PISA results ranking Indonesia 74th among 79 countries. This study examines Cooperative Script management in improving fourth-grade students' intensive reading skills, addressing the knowledge gap regarding how planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating cooperative learning are managed across diverse resource contexts. A qualitative multiple case study was conducted at SDN Bungasari and SDN Wanasari, Cianjur Regency, over six months. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with principals, teachers, and students; systematic classroom observations; and document analysis. Analysis employed Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña's interactive model using Terry's POAC framework. Findings reveal that systematic Cooperative Script management significantly improved students' intensive reading skills, including main idea identification, text summarization, and critical thinking, while enhancing confidence, motivation, and communication abilities. Both schools achieved substantial gains despite contrasting teacher resource availability through adaptive planning, strategic heterogeneous pairing, and context-appropriate implementation strategies. Time constraints and supervision challenges were successfully mitigated through structured scheduling, peer tutoring, and scaffolding worksheets. Results align with constructivist learning theories and demonstrate that management quality mediates instructional effectiveness. The study extends Cooperative Script literature by establishing educational management as a critical variable determining implementation success, offering evidence-based guidance for teachers, administrators, and policymakers in resource-constrained contexts.

Abstract

The integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in elementary education represents a critical strategy for enhancing learning quality, yet implementation in resource-constrained contexts remains underexplored. This study examined IT-based learning management implementation and its relationship to student learning motivation in elementary schools with limited infrastructure. A qualitative multiple case study was conducted at two elementary schools in Campaka District, Cianjur Regency, Indonesia. Data were collected through participatory observations, semi-structured interviews with principals, teachers, and students, and documentary analysis. Data analysis employed Miles et al.'s (2014) framework incorporating data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing, with triangulation ensuring validity. Findings revealed that both schools enhanced student engagement and motivation through IT integration despite infrastructure disparities. SDN Margasari demonstrated systematic management across planning, organization, implementation, and evaluation functions, while SDN Hegarmanah exhibited emergent practices aligned with early adoption stages. Key obstacles included equipment limitations, internet connectivity issues, and variable teacher competencies. Adaptive solutions encompassed phased infrastructure development, targeted professional development, and pedagogical innovation. Results confirm that systematic IT-based learning management can effectively increase elementary students' learning motivation even within resource constraints when calibrated to institutional capacity. Findings extend Terry's management theory and motivational frameworks while illuminating developmental progressions in technology integration requiring differentiated support strategies for schools at varying implementation stages.

Abstract

Peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di SD Negeri Naringgul masih menghadapi permasalahan berupa belum optimalnya sinergi keterlibatan perempuan dalam menghasilkan peningkatan mutu pendidikan yang terukur. Meskipun partisipasi perempuan sebagai ibu, guru atau kepala sekolah, serta anggota komunitas sekolah tergolong tinggi, kontribusinya terhadap peningkatan kualitas Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) guru serta capaian literasi dan numerasi siswa belum menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan. Kondisi ini mengindikasikan bahwa keterlibatan perempuan masih bersifat parsial dan belum terintegrasi dalam suatu sistem pengelolaan pendidikan yang terstruktur. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis sinergi peran perempuan melalui Model Integratif Peran Perempuan Multi-Pilar (IPPM) dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di SD Negeri Naringgul. Kajian ini mengacu pada teori manajemen pendidikan berbasis partisipasi multipihak dan teori modal sosial dengan pendekatan fungsi manajemen yang meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis melalui teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman dengan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan perempuan pada tiga pilar, yaitu keluarga, sekolah, dan komunitas telah berjalan aktif, namun belum terintegrasi secara sistematis. Faktor kontekstual lokal seperti norma budaya, peran tokoh adat, kondisi sosial-ekonomi, serta keterbatasan sumber daya menjadi variabel moderator dalam efektivitas Model IPPM. Simpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa peningkatan kualitas pendidikan menuntut pengelolaan sinergi peran perempuan secara terstruktur, berkelanjutan, dan berorientasi pada indikator mutu akademik yang jelas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis implementasi 14 Prinsip Manajemen Henry Fayol oleh kepala sekolah dalam mewujudkan visi dan misi di SDN Cicadas. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah dan guru, observasi partisipan terhadap aktivitas manajerial di sekolah, serta studi dokumen yang meliputi perencanaan program, visi-misi, dan laporan kegiatan sekolah.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah telah mengimplementasikan prinsip-prinsip manajemen Fayol secara komprehensif dan sistematis. Prinsip Unity of Direction (Kesatuan Arah) diwujudkan melalui perencanaan partisipatif dalam penyusunan visi dan misi yang melibatkan seluruh pemangku kepentingan sekolah. Prinsip Division of Work (Pembagian Kerja) diterapkan melalui pendistribusian tugas guru dan tenaga kependidikan sesuai dengan kompetensi dan keahliannya masing-masing. Prinsip Discipline (Disiplin) dan Equity (Keadilan) membentuk budaya sekolah yang tertib, profesional, dan kondusif bagi proses pembelajaran. Keberhasilan perwujudan visi sekolah “berakhlak mulia, cerdas, cermat, dan terampil” didukung oleh penerapan prinsip Esprit de Corps (Semangat Korps) yang kuat, ditandai dengan kerja sama yang solid antarwarga sekolah, serta pemanfaatan fasilitas teknologi informasi dan komunikasi secara optimal. Meskipun masih terdapat tantangan dalam pengelolaan detail sarana fisik, kepemimpinan manajerial yang terstruktur dan konsisten terbukti menjadi faktor kunci dalam mengubah visi abstrak menjadi realitas operasional di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Filsafat pendidikan dalam konteks manajemen sekolah dasar menghadapi tantangan dalam menjembatani antara idealitas nilai-nilai filosofis dan praktik pengelolaan yang bersifat teknis-operasional. Pengembangan inovasi dan kreativitas guru sering kali terhambat oleh pendekatan manajerial yang terlalu administratif, kurang reflektif, dan belum sepenuhnya berorientasi pada penguatan kapasitas internal guru. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan integrasi prinsip-prinsip filosofis sebagai landasan kebijakan, budaya organisasi, dan pengambilan keputusan strategis di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui implementasi filsafat pendidikan dalam manajemen pengembangan inovasi dan kreativitas guru; (2) mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat implementasi filsafat pendidikan dalam praktik manajemen sekolah; serta (3) menggambarkan strategi manajemen sekolah dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, dan mengevaluasi program pengembangan profesional guru yang berorientasi pada inovasi dan kreativitas di SD IT Pelabuhanratu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui proses reduksi data, penyajian tematik, serta penarikan kesimpulan secara reflektif dan verifikatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi filsafat pendidikan tercermin pada pemahaman ontologis guru sebagai subjek pembelajar yang dinamis, pendekatan epistemologis melalui pelatihan dan kolaborasi profesional, serta orientasi aksiologis yang menekankan nilai karakter dan kebermaknaan pembelajaran. Faktor pendukung meliputi kepemimpinan visioner dan budaya kolaboratif, sedangkan hambatan mencakup keterbatasan waktu dan beban administratif. Secara keseluruhan, integrasi prinsip filosofis mampu membangun ekosistem sekolah yang inovatif, reflektif, dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

PeThis study aims to determine the management of education and training in improving the performance of the Kartika Cooperative. Education and training management includes education and training planning, training organization, training implementation, training evaluation, training constraints and solutions. This research is a descriptive qualitative research using purpose sampling technique to determine the subject of this research. The object of research is the chairman of the cooperative, the secretary of the treasurer, employees, and members of the cooperative. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. Descriptive qualitative analysis of the data obtained. Checking the validity of the data is done by triangulation of sources and methods.The results showed that the management of Kartika Cooperative education and training includes: 1) Training planning, including planning the location and management of the training according to the project and the number of participants, preparing the schedule according to the training project, media and methods. coordinate with each other to adjust the material, and plan the material according to the theme, and determine the speaker based on the quality and experience of the instructor, 2) The implementation of the training begins with the manager's direction, attendance, and the opening of the training. At the beginning of the training, management briefing, attendance, and opening of the training. The chairman of the cooperative management gave a speech and at the same time opened the training. Participants' input material is combined with themes, methods, presenters, and use of space, and is managed by the education and training manager. The implementation of the training ended with an evaluation process carried out by participants by filling out a questionnaire. Finally, it ends with the submission of a training certificate. However, the use of space is not in accordance with the ideal conditions of each participant, namely 4 square meters, the training schedule is not in accordance with the original plan, and the number of managers is not proportional to the number of participants, 3) Evaluation of the training process, to determine the criteria, tools and forms of the results of the training evaluation . The evaluation criteria include the delivery of material, the attitude of the presenters, the neatness of data provision, the method of the speaker, the motivation of the participants, the service manager, and the level of potential of the participants, the style, attitude, behavior, and language of the speaker. While the training evaluation tool is in the form of a questionnaire, and the results of the evaluation are training reports, questionnaires, and statistical data processing results. Evaluation of the results of the training, employees who initially only did the work without knowing in detail the meaning of the work being done, but with the training, employees better understand the systematic system. 4) Education and training constraints, the material is not in accordance with the needs of the training and the less than optimal preparation of the environment for the transfer of post-training knowledge but at work often applies work habits from experience, 5) Training solutions.

Abstract

The era of globalization characterized by free competition and excellence, and supported by modern information technology, turned out to provide problems for the world of education in the development of the character of the nation. Among the problems is the optimal involvement of envirormental input consisting of families, communities and stakeholders, to the process of implementing strengthening character education strategies based on humanist education principles. Based on some of these problems, the study focused on: "Character Education Strengthening Strategy based on school culture for high school students." In general, this study aims to describe: Environmentalobservation, formulation of school culture-based strengthening character education strategy for high school students, implementation of strengthening character education strategy, evaluation of strengthening character educationstrategy, obstacles to implementation of strengthening character education strategy, solutions from obstacles to the implementation of strengthening character education strategies, and impact of implementation of strengthening character education strategies. The study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis, sourced from principals, deputy principals, teachers, and students. The data collection tools used are observations, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of this study generally show that these two Institutions have established the formulation, implementation, and evaluation of strategies of the school's culture-based strengthening character education for high school students well in accordance with the principles of strategic management. Specifically: 1) Environmental analysis conducted by the Principal at the two Educational Institutions runs in accordance with strategic management theory and can be used as a first step before formulating and choosing a school culture-based strengthening character education strategy for high school students. 2) The formulation of strengthening character education strategy implemented at these two Educational Institutions is in accordance with the principles of strategic management and government policy. 3) Implementation and implementation of school culture-based strengthening character education Strategy for students at two institutions can be implemented properly in accordance with the principles of strategic management, although in his research researchers found some obstacles, but all of them can be sought solutions. 4) Evaluation related to the School's culture-based strengthening character education strategy for students has been arranged and running well. This can be seen with the articles and rules that have been set by the school related to what students do, their development and activities while in school and outside school. 5) In general, obstacles in implementing the strengthening of school culture-based character education in the two institutions include the limitations of integrated policy tools in realizing character values; shifting ethical values in the life of the nation and state; affected by information technology. 6) Everyone involved in the Education process must know very well the function of national education and teachers must have a commitment in participating in realizing every function of national education. 7) The formation of students of strong character and religious character, an effective, conducive and efficient learning environment, an integrated curriculum between co-curricular, intra-curricular and extra-curricular, and the creation of a good school culture.

Abstract

The high cost of colloid fluids and the large number of patients are concerns in determining which treatment standard should be chosen from several treatment alternative, where the total cost for 43 cases with a combination of crystalloid colloid fluids is IDR 209.370.993 while the total cost for 45 cases of crystalloid fluids is only UDR 146.492.268 which causes hospital losses. This study aims to determine the difference in the cost-effectiveness between crystalloid fluids and crystalloid-colloid combinations in hospitalized dengue fever patients without shock at Tangerang City Hospital. The research design used was cross-sectional with a comparative quantitative analysis method, where cost effectiveness was analyzed using the Average Cost Effectiveness Ratios (ACER) method. There were two groups of study samples: the first group, 25 patients who received crystalloid fluids, and the second group, 23 patients who received crystalloid-colloid combination fluids. This study showed a difference in the average hospitalization costs for dengue patients between crystalloid fluid therapy and crystalloid-colloid combination therapy. Hospitalization costs for dengue patients were lower in the crystalloid fluid group, with a significant difference (p=0.000). It was also found that crystalloid fluids were more cost-effective than the crystalloid-colloid combination. The implications of the study results consist of theoretical implications and practical implications. Based on the results of the analysis carried out, the crystalloid solutions are more cost-effective than crystalloid-colloid combinations. This finding can be used as a consideration in making decisions and policies that are in accordance with quality control and cost control for patients covered by the National Health Insurance (BPJS Health insurance).

Abstract

Transformasi digital di bidang pendidikan telah mengubah manajemen dan pengelolaan kinerja guru, dengan digitalisasi kinerja sebagai upaya meningkatkan efisiensi, akuntabilitas, dan transparansi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perencanaan (planning), pengorganisasian (organizing), pelaksanaan (actuating), dan pengawasan (controlling) digitalisasi kinerja guru sekolah dasar di KKG Se-Kecamatan Tamansari Kota Tasikmalaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi, serta analisis data secara interaktif menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) perencanaan telah dilakukan melalui penetapan tujuan, identifikasi kebutuhan, dan penyusunan SOP digital, tetapi masih berfokus pada pemenuhan administrasi; (2) pengorganisasian menunjukkan adanya pembagian peran dan struktur kerja, namun koordinasi dan kejelasan tanggung jawab belum sepenuhnya terintegrasi; (3) pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui penggunaan aplikasi SIMPKB, e-Kinerja, dan Ruang GTK dengan dukungan kepala sekolah dan kolaborasi guru, meski kedisiplinan input data masih dipengaruhi beban kerja dan pemahaman teknis; serta (4) pengawasan dilakukan melalui monitoring, evaluasi, validasi, dan audit data digital, namun lebih menekankan kelengkapan data daripada peningkatan kinerja reflektif. Secara keseluruhan, digitalisasi telah berjalan, tetapi orientasinya masih administratif sehingga belum sepenuhnya meningkatkan kualitas kinerja dan profesionalisme guru. Implikasinya, digitalisasi kinerja guru perlu dikelola secara strategis dan kolaboratif, berbasis data untuk pengembangan profesional dan peningkatan kualitas kinerja, didukung SOP reflektif, pemerataan TIK, serta pelatihan berkelanjutan agar tidak sekadar bersifat administratif.

Abstract

Filsafat manajemen pendidikan modern menghadapi tantangan kontemporer yang semakin kompleks, khususnya terkait ketidakseimbangan diri, konflik moral, dan kecenderungan birokratisasi dalam pengelolaan sekolah. Kondisi ini menuntut adanya pergeseran paradigma menuju integrasi etika sebagai fondasi utama dalam praktik manajemen pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep pandangan dunia etis, peran keseimbangan empat bentuk kecerdasan (fisik, kognitif, emosional, dan spiritual), serta kerangka kepemimpinan etis dalam konteks pendidikan dasar di SDN Dewi Sartika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dan analisis konten kualitatif terhadap sumber utama berupa buku Paradigm Shift in Management Philosophy (2020) karya Bharat S. Thakkar yang dikaji oleh Indranie Gurusamy Ram, serta didukung oleh diskusi lapangan sebagai data sekunder. Teknik analisis dilakukan melalui proses reduksi data konseptual, penyajian tematik, dan verifikasi filosofis untuk membangun pemahaman holistik mengenai integrasi etika dalam manajemen pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pandangan dunia etis sebagai kerangka hermeneutika pemulihan dan penemuan mampu mengembalikan nilai-nilai kepercayaan, kejujuran, dan tanggung jawab sebagai fondasi relasi organisasi sekolah. Proses refleksi diri dan transparansi kepemimpinan terbukti memperkuat akuntabilitas, mencegah “penyakit menular” perilaku tidak etis, serta membangun iklim sekolah yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa etika harus ditempatkan sebagai fondasi utama dalam filsafat manajemen pendidikan guna menciptakan keberadaan otentik pemimpin sekolah dan membangun organisasi pendidikan yang terpercaya, bermartabat, dan berorientasi pada pembentukan manusia seutuhnya.
