Abstract

Istilah kewirausahaan (enterpreneur‐ship) sering kali dicampuradukkan dengan pengertian berwirausaha (enterpreneurial) dan wirausahawan (enterpreneur) (Helmi, 2006). Hal ini terjadi bukan saya pada masyarakat biasa juga di kalangan akade‐misi termasuk mahasiswa. Dalam beberapa kesempatan saya menguji skripsi, gejala tersebut beberapa kali terjadi. Biasanya ketika membahas pengertian kewirausa‐haan, yang dibahas adalah wirausahawan‐nya. Bahkan yang terakhir saya alami, ketika saya diminta menjadi pembicara untuk mengkaji kurikulum kewiarusahaan di program studi manajemen, sebuah Perguruan Tinggi Swasta, upaya pengem‐bangan kewirausahaan terjebak pada kegiatan berdagang lebih tepat. Sebab jika menggunakan istilah berwiarusaha, syarat kewirausahaannya tidak mencukupi.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan penduduk perkotaan di Indonesia pada masa yang akan datang masih menunjukkan trend peningktan yang drastis. Selain faktor pertumbuhan penduduk alami yang masih relatif tinggi sebagai penyebabnya, juga disebabkan tingkat urbanisasi yang terus meningkat.

Abstract

Baik dalam situasi kerja maupun pergaulan sehari-hari sering ditemui orang yang terlalu percaya diri atau terlalu rendah menilai dirinya. Di sisi lain, ada juga orang yang lebih mampu melihat kesalahan-kesalahan orang lain daripada kesalahan dirinya.

Abstract

Manusia di dalam organisasi dipandang sebagai sumber daya. Artinya sebagai sumber daya atau penggerak dari suatu organisasi. Penggerak dari sumber daya yang lainnya, apakah itu sumber daya alam atau teknologi. Hal ini merupakan suatu penandasan kembali terhadap falsafah Man behind the gun. Roda organisasi sangat tergantung pada perilaku-perilaku manusia yang bekerja di dalamnya.

Abstract

The incidence of suicide increases in Indonesia and around the world that encourage the growing of research on suicidal behavior. Hopelessness recognized as a strongly predictor of suicidal behavior, including suicidal ideas and suicide attempts (Beck, Brown, Berchick, Stewart, & Steer, 1990; Reinecke and Franklin-Scott, 2005). However, the empirical results show the correlation between hopelessness and suicidal behavior seem to be less consistent. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of hopelessness and s uicidal behavior through the study of meta-analysis. There are 27 studies are including in this meta-analysis study. Two artifacts allow for correction in these study are sampling error and measurement error. The result shows that the correlation of hopele ssness and suicidal behavior is 0.360, with the confidence level is 95%

Abstract

The quality of marriage gain the attention of researchers for a long time. Various studies have been done, by placing the marital quality as an independent variable or dependent variable. Although research on marital quality has been done for a long time with a wide range of variables, conceptually, the results are not quite satisfactory. This article aimed to describe literature review on the concept of marital quality. The literature search results define quality of marriage as the level of excellence in marriage based on certain characteristics. These particular characteristics or criteria may vary from region to region. The criteria for the quality of marriage may also differ from one period to another. The dimensions of marital quality vary widely, which can be distinguished into intrapersonal and interpersonal dimensions. Meanwhile, factors affecting the quality of marriage are differentiated into internal factors and factors related to the conjugal relationships.

Abstract

Workplace bullying is one of an organizational phenomenon that has received a lot of attention from many parties, both academics, and practitioners. Workplace bullying is like an iceberg phenomenon. It exists but hard to be revealed and lifted to the surface. This phenomenon can be seen as practically and methodologically point of view. Practically, it is caused by passivity and silent act from the victim or bullying eyewitnesses, and methodologically, it hasn’t found the standard concept of workplace bullying which causing lack of workplace bullying research. In this article, the author tries to review the workplace bullying’s concepts and constructs, starting by reviewing the problem of definition, including type, frequency, & duration of bullying actions, and considering the role of workplace cultural values and norms in influencing the perception of bullying behavior.

Abstract

Relasi remaja-orang tua memiliki karakteristik unik karena perubahan yang terjadi sebagai akibat dari transisi masa kanak-kanak ke dewasa pada remaja. Masuknya teknologi dalam kehidupan keluarga turut berpengaruh terhadap relasi antara remaja dan orang tua mereka. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pemetaan konseptual relasi remaja – orang tua dan pengaruh teknologi dalam relasi tersebut. Hasil kajian terurai dalam berbagai konsep yang dikerucutkan menjadi beberapa temuan, seperti: (1) definisi relasi remaja-orang tua, (2) aspek-aspek relasi terkait dengan bagian-bagian yang membentuk relasi, (3) dimensi relasi yang menunjukkan karakteristik relasi; dan (4) struktur relasi yang menunjukkan pola relasi. Penelaahan riset menemukan bahwa ada beberapa determinan utama yang memengaruhi relasi, seperti persepsi sosial dalam domain intrapersonal, komunikasi dalam domain antarpribadi, dan variasi sub kelompok dalam domain kelompok. Selain itu, terdapat dampak positif dan negatif karena penggunaan teknologi dalam relasi remaja-orang tua.

Abstract

Employees intending to resign are commonly due to material matters, such as lack of salary or incentives. Evidently, moral matters, e.g., supervisor support, implies to affect the turnover intention in an organization. Studies pertaining the effect of these two variables to intention to resign report mixed result. For example, several studies report direct and significant effect of these two variables to intention to resign, while otherstudies report the contrary. This study aimed to investigate the direct influence of perceived supervisor support on employee turnover intention through a meta-analysis method. There are 17 articles and 20 studies, ranging from 2007 to 2019 being analysed, of which 60% were published in accredited international journals, and the remaining 40% were published in international journals. Aggregate number of respondents of the studies amounted to 10,079 people from all industrial sectors, such as manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality industry, education, and social services in several countries, such as the Philippines, China, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Norway, and the United States. This study employed data from the standardized beta coefficient using an open-source program data analysis application of Mplus. The study results found that perceived supervisor support did not directly affect employee turnover intention. The study can be used as a reference for similar studies to compare other interrelated variables.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi memungkinkan kita untuk membentuk pertemanan di dunia nyata (offline friendship) dan juga di dunia virtual (online friendship). Penelitian tentang online friendship belum banyak berkembang di Indonesia. Konsep dan skala online friendship telah dikembangkan dengan mahasiswa sebagai subjek uji coba. Skala tersebut juga telah diuji untuk diterapkan pada siswa SMA. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji apakah skala online friendship memiliki properti psikometri yang baik ketika diterapkan pada siswa SMP. Terdapat 248 subjek dalam penelitian ini. Menggunakan confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), hasil analisis model telah menemui kriteria kesesuaian untuk validitas konstruk, termasuk CFI, TLI dan RMSEA. Koefisien Cronbach alpha juga baik dan memuaskan. Dari hasil tersebut maka skala online friendship tidak hanya dapat diaplikasikan pada dewasa muda dan siswa SMA, tetapi juga pada siswa SMP.
