Abstract

Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah memberikan gambaran tentang perkembangan riset dan publikasi mengenai psikologi kebangsaan di Indonesia. Materi penelitian diambil dari berbagai publikasi ilmiah yang membahas topik tersebut. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa publikasi tentang psikologi kebangsaan mulai muncul pada awal 1990-an, meningkat pada awal milenium kedua, dan berkembang pesat selama satu dekade terakhir. Beberapa topik yang dominan diteliti meliputi nasionalisme, identitas nasional, multikulturalisme, ke-Pancasila-an, dan pengembangan alat ukur psikologis. Beberapa peneliti secara konsisten meneliti topik spesifik tentang psikologi kebangsaan, tetapi sejauh ini, belum banyak peneliti bekerja sama dengan peneliti dari bidang ilmu lain. Untuk mengembangkan penelitian ini, diperlukan upaya untuk memperluas jangkauan topik yang diteliti dan menggunakan metode penelitian yang lebih inovatif. Selain itu, penting untuk melakukan penelitian lintas disiplin keilmuan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan modifikasi terhadap skala mindfulness. Peneliti mengggunakan empat aspek mindfulness dan indikator diperoleh dari lapangan melalui open-ended questionaire dan wawancara. Adapun empat aspek tersebut adalah observasi, deskripsi, bertindak dengan kesadaran, serta menerima tanpa menilai pada stimulus internal dan eksternal. Partisipan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 201 orang mahasiswa S1, S2, dan mahasiswa profesi. Skala disebarkan kepada partisipan secara online dan offline. Seleksi item dilakukan dengan menggunakan hasil pengujian validitas isi, analisis daya beda, dan analisis faktor konfirmatori. Dari 48 item tersisa 13 item sebagai skala mindfulness. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ada tiga aspek yang muncul dalam penelitian ini, sedangkan aspek bertindak dengan kesadaran tidak muncul sebagai dimensi spesifik dalam analisis. Oleh karena itu, penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai aspek tersebut atau perbaikan dalam pembuatan item skala mindfulness perlu untuk dilakukan. Walaupun memiliki keterbatasan, penelitian ini berkontribusi untuk menyediakan item pada aspek deskripsi dan menerima tanpa menilai yang mencerminkan stimulus internal dan stimulus eksternal, yang pada penelitian sebelumnya, banyak item stimulus eksternal yang gugur pada dua aspek tersebut. Oleh karena itu, skala modifikasi mindfulness ini dapat melihat mindfulness pada individu baik terhadap stimulus internal maupun stimulus eksternal.

Abstract

The demands and heavy workload in a profession, especially related to the legal field, cause the importance of studying work engagement in their work. Work engagement is a condition of individuals who have positive thoughts and have high motivation in relation to their work. This is certainly influenced by the burdens and demands inherent in the work undertaken. This research reveals how the dynamics of work engagement exist in judges? What aspects and factors influence work engagement in judges? The research was conducted using a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. The informants in this study were ten district court judges. The results showed that in addition to passion, dedication, and depth of focus, there is also usefulness as a dimension of the work engagement of judges. Factors that can affect work engagement are safety factors, working life factors, organizational, psychological, and emotional factors. Work engagement is formed by aspects and influenced by factors so that judges feel attached when at work, get new knowledge, reconcile (mediation), represent the justice system, and make the right decision to make prisoners aware.

Abstract

Tingginya penggunaan media sosial mendorong pergeseran aktivitas pengungkapan diri dari offline ke online. Padahal, perilaku pengungkapan diri online memiliki beragam risiko yang rentan dialami pengguna yang mayoritas berada di tahap perkembangan remaja dan dewasa awal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan tingkat pengungkapan diri online di media sosial antara pengguna remaja dengan dewasa awal. Desain penelitian survei kuantitatif digunakan dengan convenience sampling sebagai teknik pengambilan sampel. Sebanyak 532 pengguna media sosial remaja dan dewasa awal, baik dari Pulau Jawa maupun dari luar Pulau Jawa terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisis independent t-test menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada pengungkapan diri online remaja dan dewasa awal. Akan tetapi, ditemukan perbedaan pengungkapan diri online ditinjau dari wilayah domisili dan durasi akses media sosial. Pengguna dari Pulau Jawa dan pengguna yang mengakses media sosial selama 6-8 jam perhari memiliki tingkat pengungkapan diri online yang lebih tinggi. Temuan ini memperkaya pemahaman mengenai perilaku pengguna media sosial di Indonesia. Masyarakat perlu berkolaborasi untuk mengelola perilaku bermedia sosial guna menghindari risiko penggunaan media sosial yang tidak terkontrol. The high use of social media encourages a shift in offline and online self-disclosure activities. Whereas online self-disclosure behavior has various risks that are prone to be experienced by users, most of whom are in the developmental stages of adolescence and early adulthood. This study aims to determine whether there is a difference in the level of online self-disclosure on social media between adolescent and early adult users. The quantitative survey research design was used with convenience sampling as the sampling technique. This research has 532 adolescent and early adult social media users, both from Java and outside Java, who were involved in this study. The results of the independent t-test analysis showed that there was no significant difference in online self-disclosure of adolescents and early adults. However, differences in online self-disclosure were found regarding the domicile area and duration of social media access. Users from Java and users accessing social media for 6-8 hours daily have higher online self-disclosure levels. These findings enrich the understanding of the behavior of social media users in Indonesia. Communities need to collaborate to manage social media behavior to avoid the risks of uncontrolled use of social media.

Abstract

Humans realize the importance of having a partner. However, the process in achieving this goal is challenging. Online dating became a medium to build romantic relationships that can be done easily through an application. The recognition process between users starts with liking each other's profiles which is assisted by an algorithmic system. So, it is important for users to present themselves properly on their profile. This study aims to see how the user's self-presentation is formed. Through a thematic analysis of the results of a questionnaire involving 383 Tinder online dating users, it was found that actual self-presentation is an important point for online dating users who emphasize aspects of honesty and openness. Differences in the motivation of online dating users do not lead to different self-presentation views between them. Moreover, the actual self in online dating profiles is displayed selectively taking into account the climate of informal interaction on Tinder.

Abstract

Two business models differ significantly between an established company and a startup in the industrial world. There are notable distinctions between the two business models in several areas that, upon closer examination, can offer entrepreneurs, practitioners, researchers, and the government guidance in devising the most appropriate business model approach. The subsequent goal of this research is to conduct a more thorough analysis of the organizational behavior variations between startups and larger businesses. Because numerous research sources have been completed but have yet to be more thoroughly consolidated, this study uses a literature review approach to address the research issues posed. This approach is also capable of identifying variations from the given context. According to the study, established businesses and startups differ in three ways. The study's findings, to be more precise, revealed variations in the two business models' definitions and life cycles. Second, the social relations system and structure derived from these two company models differ. Finally, these two categories of businesses must deal with varying degrees of uncertainty in the workplace. This research suggests that by examining the distinctions between large and small companies which are just starting, business actors can benefit from this research and use it as a guide to improve organizational performance.

Abstract

Forgiveness is essential in marriage as it can bring a sense of satisfaction to married life. This study aims to adapt and examine the factor structure of the Marital Forgiveness Scale (MFS), a forgiveness instrument in the context of marriage. After the process of adaptation to the Indonesian language and culture, validity and reliability tests were conducted, and a MIMIC model was developed. In an online and offline survey, 330 millennials (128 husbands, 202 wives, M-marriage age = 25.33, SD-marriage age = 3.12) completed the Indonesian version of the MFS. The validity test was conducted using confirmatory factor analysis, with the results showing that the values obtained were satisfactory (CFI & TLI ≥ .95; RMSEA = .06; SRMR < .08). The multidimensionality measurement of the Indonesian version of the MFS consists of two dimensions, a positive and a negative. The omega coefficient for the Indonesian version of the MFS is .694 (positive dimension) and .787 (negative dimension), indicating satisfactory reliability in the millennial sample. The results of the MIMIC model show that items 2 and 3 in the negative dimension have gender variance in the MFS. The scale is a suitable measure for evaluating individuals’ dispositional forgiveness in Indonesian millennial marital couples. It is hoped that the instrument will contribute to the advancement of the study of forgiveness in the marital context in Indonesia.

Abstract

College students face challenges in developing social media competencies that support their participation in digital citizenship. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between digital citizenship and social media competency mediated by collective self-esteem among college students (N = 736). The web-based study was used to collect data by convenience sampling and three measurement instruments, the digital citizenship scale (α= 0.90) to measure digital citizenship, the social media competence scale for college students (α= 0.92) to measure social media competence, and the collective self-esteem scale (α= 0.94) to measure collective self-esteem. The data were analyzed using Hayes mediation analysis with 5,000 percentile bootstrap samples and a 95% confidence interval. The results of the mediation test through jamovi (Version 2.3.2) showed that collective self-esteem played a role in mediating the relationship between digital citizenship and social media competence. However, the role of collective self-esteem as a mediator is not perfect because of its small effect. The findings prove that evaluating the student's national identity is indirectly a form of attitude toward maintaining a positive group (state) to control relational activities and citizenship by adopting social media. The findings emphasize the importance of strengthening college students' collective identity to support more positive and responsible use of social media within the context of digital citizenship.

Abstract

The initial ease of internet use has led to new challenges, one of which is the phenomenon of cyberloafing. Cyberloafing refers to the activity of accessing the internet during learning processes. The aim of this study is to modify the cyberloafing scale within an educational setting in Indonesia using the dimensions of sharing, shopping, real-time updating, accessing online content, and gaming/gambling. The modifications include contextualizing the original and adding new relevant items. Data collection was conducted using purposive sampling, involving 235 university students from various higher education institutions in Indonesia. The method used to test the validity of the cyberloafing model was confirmatory factor analysis. The results showed that out of 65 items, 20 were found to be valid, with a satisfactory total Cronbach’s alpha of 0.73-0.93 and McDonald’s omega of 0.71-0.93 for measuring reliability for each dimension of cyberloafing. The practical implication of this measurement tool is that it can be used to assess the intensity of cyberloafing among higher education students in Indonesia

Abstract

Kegunaan meta analisis dalam studi ini adalah untuk menjelaskan dan membuktikan hubungan keterkaitan antara penerapan metode peningkatan kualitas yaitu TQM (Total Quality Management) terhadap peningkatan kinerja organisasi. Artikel-artikel yang digunakan dalam meta analisis ini dikumpulkan melalui electronic journal database antara tahun 2003-2014. Terdapat 12 jurnal yang dapat dikaji secara kuantitatif. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa koefisien korelasi populasi setelah dikoreksi dengan jumlah sampel atau sebesar 0,622. Mengacu pada interval kepercayaan sebesar 95%, batas penerimaannya antara 0,359 < < 0,885. Dengan demikian hasil perhitungan sebesar 0,622 berada pada batas penerimaan. Berdasarkan hasil ini maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis yang menyatakan adanya hubungan antara TQM dan kinerja organisasi dapat diterima.
