Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of recruitment and selection on the competence and  perfomance of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) manager in Kampar Regency, Riau Province. In this study, there are four variables, namely Recruitment (X1), Selection (X2), Competence (Y1) and Performance (Y2). The population in this study is the BUMDes manager in Kampar Regency. The method of determining the number of samples was obtained through purposive sampling technique (30 BUMDes Managers from 229 BUMDes in Kampar Regency based on criteria). The data collection was gained through interviewing, observing and distributing questionnaires to respondents. While, in terms of data analysis this study used was two-stage regression analysis namely simple and multiple regression, the quality test of research instruments , test classic assumptions and hypotheses that were processed using the SPSS program (Statistical Program Society Science) version 21. The result shows that: 1) recruitment has a positive and significant effect on the competencies of BUMDes manager, 2) selection has a positive and significant effect on the competencies of BUMDes manager, 3) recruitment and selection has a positive and simultant effect the competence of BUMDes manager, 4) competence has a positive and significant effect on the performance of BUMDes manager. Keywords: Recruitment, Selection, Competence, Performance.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of training and commitment on the performance of BUMDes management in Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The samples of this study were 30 BUMDes from 5 Districts in Kampar Regency. Questionnaires were distributed to 30 respondents, and successfully collected with complete answers from 30 respondents. Primary data were collected through a questionnaire as the instrument to prove the results of the study. Multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS program were used to test the hypothesis of the study. Data collected from 30 respondents then were analyzed with the assistance of SPSS software version 23.0 using descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis to generate a classical assumption test, data analysis model, coefficient of determination and proving the hypothesis. The results of the study show that: 1) there is positive and partially significant effect of training on the performance of BUMDes management in Kampar District, 2) there is positive and significant effect of partial commitment on the performance of BUMDes management in Kampar Regency, 3) there is a simultaneous positive and significant influence of training and commitment on the performance of the managers of BUMDes management in Kampar Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to see and find out the direct and indirect effects of organizational culture and career development on job satisfaction and employee performance. In this study, the population was 147 of all employees of the IT (Information Technology) section of PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia. The analytical tool used was Path Analysis using the SEM-PLS program for windows. In this study, the sampling method used was census method or saturated sample. It showed that the entire population was sampled. The results of this study indicates that organizational culture and career development effect on job satisfaction. Organizational culture, career development and job satisfaction effect on employee performance. Organizational culture and career development effect on employee performance through job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) The effect of job satisfaction on labor turnover in teaching staff at Lancang Kuning University, Pekanbaru, (2) The effect of the work environment on labor turnover in teaching staff at Lancang Kuning University, Pekanbaru, (3) The effect of job satisfaction and the environment work on labor turnover in Lancang Kuning University educational staff, Pekanbaru. Using a quantitative approach, the subject of this research is the education staff at Lancang Kuning University. Data collection used questionnaires and interviews while data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the variables of job satisfaction and work environment had a significant effect on labor turnover in educational staff at Lancang Kuning University. Likewise with the joint test, the results of both had a significant effect. For the results of the coefficient of determination, the test results show that the percentage of labor turnover for the variables of job satisfaction and work environment is 34.8%.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the effect of Burnout and Teamwork on Organizational Commitment in Employees of the Family Pharmacy, Pekanbaru City Branch. This type of research is using quantitative research. The population in this study were all employees of the technician section totaling 102 people. This study used employees of the technician section of the Pekanbaru City Branch of the Family Pharmacy as the object of research. The sampling method uses saturated samples, namely 102 respondents. The analysis method used in processing this research data is descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis and the coefficient of determination using a significance level of 0.05. The data processing of this research uses the help of SPSS 23 software. The results showed that there was a negative and significant influence between burnout on organizational commitment. There is a positive and significant influence between teamwork on organizational commitment. There is a simultaneous positive and significant influence between burnout and teamwork on organizational commitment.

Abstract

This research was conducted at Perum Jamkrindo Pekanbaru Branch. The purpose of this study is to find out whether Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and supervision affect employee work productivity and whether work discipline is able to mediate the effect of SOP and supervision on employee work productivity at Perum Jamkrindo Pekanbaru Branch. The population in this study were all employees of Perum Jamkrindo Pekanbaru Branch, totaling 42 employees. The sampling method used is total sampling, namely as many as 42 respondents. The results of this study are, (1) There is a positive and significant influence between SOP and employee work productivity, (2) There is a positive and significant influence between supervision and employee work productivity, (3) There is a positive and significant influence between SOP and work discipline, (4) There is a positive and significant influence between supervision and work discipline, (5) Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity, (6) There is a positive and significant influence on SOP on employee work productivity through work discipline and, (7) There is a positive and significant influence on supervision on employee productivity through work discipline.

Abstract

MADAS Elektrikal Kontraktor Tembilahan. This type of research uses quantitative research. The population in this study was all 42 technician employees. This research used technician employees of PT. MADAS Elektrikal Kontraktor Tembilahan as research object. The sampling method used a saturated sample, namely 42 respondents. The analytical method used in processing this research data is descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis and coefficient of determination using a significance level of 0.05. The data processing for this research uses the help of SPSS 23 software. Based on the results of the research conducted, it shows that leadership variables, non-physical work environment, and occupational health and safety have a positive and significant effect on the work productivity of technician employees PT. MADAS Elektrikal Kontraktor Tembilahan.

Abstract

This study aims to look at internship experience, job interest, and self-efficacy on job readiness (case study of management students class 2018-2020 faculty of economics and business, Riau University). The population in the study were students majoring in management at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Riau class of 2018-2020) who have participated in internships with a total of 517 people. The sampling technique used is proportional stratified random sampling, which is the activity of taking samples from the population if the population is not homogeneous (not the same) and there are levels (stratified) proportionally, so that the sample in this study amounted to 84 people. The data analysis method used is multiple liner regression analysis using the help of the SPSS Version 26 program. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between internship experience on job readiness. There is a positive and significant influence between job interest on job readiness. There is a positive and significant influence between self-efficacy on job readiness. There is a positive and significant influence simultaneously between internship experience, job interest, and self-efficacy on job readiness.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of determining the influence of occupational health and safety variables on the work productivity of technician employees PT. MADAS Elektrikal Kontraktor Tembilahan. This type of research uses quantitative research methods with a population of 42 technician employees. This research used technician employees of PT. MADAS Elektrikal Kontraktor Tembilahan as research object. The sampling methods used a saturated sample of 42 respondents and used simple linear regression analysis for data processing. Based on the results of research conducted, it shows that occupational health and safety variables have a positive and significant effect on the work productivity of technician employees PT. MADAS Elektrikal Kontraktor Tembilahan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi, kepemimpinan, dan work life balance terhadap kinerja pegawai di Kantor Perwakilan Bank Indonesia Provinsi Riau. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh jumlah pegawai di Kantor Perwakilan Bank Indonesia Provinsi Riau. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan sampling jenuh sehingga diperoleh jumlah sampel sama dengan jumlah populasi yaitu 40 orang. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linear berganda menggunakan program komputer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh budaya organisasi, kepemimpinan, dan work life balance terhadap kinerja pegawai di Kantor Perwakilan Bank Indonesia Provinsi Riau. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi kepada Kantor Perwakilan Bank Indonesia Provinsi Riau untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai dari indikator inovasi yang dilakukan karyawan dalam bekerja dan indikator pengembangan pekerja selain itu pada budaya organisasi masih perlu meningkatkan sikap terhadap resiko, orientasi tindakan, serta power discance, pada variabel kepemimpinan perlu memperhatikan indikator partisipasi dalam pengambilan keputusan, dan menunjukkan perhatian atau interaksi dengan tim, serta pada variabel work life balance hampir pada seluruh indikator seperti pekerjaan menganggu kehidupan pribadi, kehidupan pribadi yang menganggu pekerjaan, kepuasan atas keseimbangan bekerja dan improvisasi efektivitas di tempat kerja.
