Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of time management, learning environment, and intellectual ability on timely thesis completion among students of the Management Department, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Riau, class of 2017-2019. The population consisted of 370 active students in the thesis completion stage. The sampling technique employed Slovin's formula to determine the sample size for each sub-population using proportionate stratified random sampling. The analysis method utilized in this study was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) processed using SmartPLS version 4.1.0.3. The results of hypothesis testing indicated that Time Management significantly influences Timely Thesis Completion with a positive correlation. Learning Environment does not significantly influence Timely Thesis Completion with a positive correlation. Intellectual Ability significantly influences Timely Thesis Completion with a positive correlation.

Abstract

Performance contains components of competence and productivity results, so performance results are highly dependent on the level of individual ability in achieving them, especially organizational goals. Performance emphasizes the results of the functions of a job or what comes out (out-come). If you pay further attention to what happens in a job or position is a process that processes input into output (work results). This study aims to Organizational Culture and Leadership on Morale. Effect of Organizational Culture and Leadership on Employee Performance. The effect of Work Morale on Employee Performance. The influence of Organizational Culture on Employee Performance through Employee Morale and the influence of Leadership on Employee Performance through Morale.  In this study, the population was 100 employees of the Head Office of the Riaufiber Division of PT RAPP. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data, while the data collection technique uses a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this study is sem. From the results of the study it was found that organizational culture and leadership affect morale and performance. Morale has a significant effect on employee performance. Organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance through morale. Leadership has a significant effect on employee performance through morale.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pelatihan, motivasi, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Bank Riau Kepri Syariah Pekanbaru Cabang Utama. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 68 responden. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS dengan teknik regresi linier berganda untuk menguji pengaruh masing-masing variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan, motivasi, dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Artinya, peningkatan kualitas pelatihan, pemberian motivasi yang tepat, serta penciptaan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung dapat memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap peningkatan kinerja karyawan. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi manajemen perusahaan dalam merancang strategi peningkatan kinerja yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini juga dapat dijadikan sebagai referensi bagi penelitian selanjutnya yang membahas faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

 This study aims to find out the correlation between leadership style and Compensation towards Job Satisfaction and Staff working Performance in Riau Bank Ltd, Riau Archipelago. The research population were 110 Staffs of Riau Bank Main Unit Branch of Pekanbaru, Riau Archipelago. Research samples were 25 of the population, taken by probability, using Purposive Stratified Random Sampling technique. By this technique, the sample were taken based on certain degree of stratification or by reference, in order to obtain a representative sample. Data analysis was intended to find out the correlation between independent variable (x), namely leadership style and motivation and dependent variable (Y) i.e, job satisfaction and working performance of the staff of Riau Bank main branch Pekanbaru Riau, Riau Archipelago. Both analysis and interpretation used descriptive Analysis and verified methods. Descriptive analysis method was used to describe the characteristics of respondents and the research variable, whereas the verified method was used to test the research hypothesis using relevant statistic test. The verified method used in this study is the Path Analysis. The results of the research showed that there was a significant correlation between leadership style and job satisfaction. Thus, the hypothesis is accepted. Leadership style also had a significant influence on job performance of staff and there is a significant influence of the compensation on leadership style in Riau Bank Main Branch Pekanbaru, Riau Archipelago.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi bagaimana kesiapan kerja mahasiswa S1 Program Studi Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Riau angkatan 2021 dipengaruhi oleh pengalaman magang, kemampuan komunikasi, dan minat kerja. Fakta bahwa mahasiswa kurang memiliki persiapan untuk memasuki dunia kerja menggarisbawahi perlunya untuk memastikan penyebabnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini melibatkan 166 orang yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel yang disengaja. Pengumpulan data mengandalkan distribusi survei. Dengan menggunakan program SPSS versi 27. 0, uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, dan regresi linier berganda-teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini-dilakukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun kemampuan komunikasi (X2) dan minat kerja (X3) sangat mempengaruhi kesiapan kerja mahasiswa (Y), pengalaman magang (X1) tidak memiliki pengaruh yang nyata terhadapnya. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel independen tersebut sangat mempengaruhi kesiapan kerja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh soft skill dan hard skill terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa, serta peran pengalaman magang sebagai variabel moderasi. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dari mahasiswa Manajemen FEB UNRI Angkatan 2021 yang telah mengikuti magang di perusahaan BUMN. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh, dan analisis data dilakukan dengan uji regresi moderasi melalui SPSS 27. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa soft skill dan hard skill berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Pengalaman magang juga terbukti memoderasi hubungan tersebut. Namun, pengalaman magang memoderasi pengaruh soft skill dengan arah negatif, sedangkan pada hard skill menunjukkan arah positif. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya penguasaan hard skill dan pengalaman magang dalam meningkatkan kesiapan kerja mahasiswa, serta perlunya pengembangan soft skill yang lebih efektif agar berdampak positif dalam menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja global.

Abstract

The development of the creative economy in Indonesia is increasing in line with the use of various information technologies that are increasingly supportive and widely implemented by MSMEs, the majority of which are run by housewives. Housewives have the potential to produce valuable products that can be sold to supplement family income. Valuable products can be created from unused materials, and it is essential for housewives to have the knowledge and skills to identify and capitalize on opportunities within the creative industry. Therefore, training/counseling sessions are necessary. The training activities were conducted for housewives in Labuhbaru Timur Village, Payung Sekaki Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City. The results of the activity showed an increase in housewives' understanding that valuable products can be produced from materials considered worthless and the opportunities that can be achieved through the creative economy. Abstract

Human resources are the main key to achieving organizational goals, and they are very important in this regard. PT Bumi Siak Pusako is one of the companies that conducts an employee performance assessment. The assessment of managerial employees' work found that the results did not align with the company's targets.This study aims to determine the influence of individual characteristics and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on employee performance at PT Bumi Siak Pusako in Pekanbaru City. This research employs a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to the entire population of 119 respondents using a saturated sampling technique. Data analysis techniques include descriptive analysis, instrument testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing, all conducted using SPSS version 26. The research findings indicate that both individual characteristics and OCB have a positive and significant effect, both partially and simultaneously, on employee performance at PT Bumi Siak Pusako. The discussion reveals that enhancing individual characteristics and OCB can support the achievement of better employee performance. The conclusion of this study is that both independent variables, individual characteristics and OCB, jointly contribute significantly to improving employee performance in the company.
