Abstract

Balinese script writing allegedly towards extinction. The general objective of this research is to preserve this Balinese culture aspect through a technology approach. The specific objective is to develop learning mobile application of Latin-To-Balinese script transliteration, as one of the innovative technology products of the Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha – Bali, and to analyze crowd feedback of that application to know the user acceptance and to obtain feedback for future improvement. This android-based application can be used as a learning media at mandatory local content subject Balinese Language in elementary and secondary schools in Province Bali since so far, it could handle the transliteration complex behaviors based on document "The Balinese Alphabet" with about 98% accuracy level (148 right of 151 test case). The development of this application was based on Model-View-Controller design pattern and use dictionary data structure to hold special words. Crowd feedback data was obtained through Google Play Console in five months since the application release. There are more than 32 thousand installations and 152 ratings (63 ratings with reviews). Average rating score of 4.2 (from the maximum best score of 5) and positive general comments (57% from total review) reflects relatively good of the user acceptance to the application. Further improvement priority of the application based on top three feedback category, i.e. addition of: 1) copy-paste-share feature (18% of reviews total); 2) compatibility to the old version of android (5% of reviews total); and 3) character “ě” insertion feature for generating sign pepet of Aksara Bali (3% of reviews total).

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the comparison between the profileimatching method and MOORA in supporting decision-making for loan approvals at the Widya Dharma Student Cooperative (KOPMA). The criteria used in this research include basic salary, length of service, loan duration, membership status, loan amount, and number of dependents. These two methods are compared based on their accuracy levels. The accuracy levels are obtained through testing with the Mean Average Precision (MAP) technique, which measures the accuracy in ranking. The testing is conducted by comparing the ranking results from the method calculations with the rankings from the KOPMA chairman. The analysis results show that the Profile Matching method has a higher accuracy rate, which is 67.83%, compared to the MOORA method, which has an accuracy rate of 45.46%. Besides method testing, system testing was also conducted using the User Acceptance Test (UAT) technique. The UAT results indicate that the developed system aligns with the business processes in determining loan eligibility, the menu layout and contents within the system are well-organized, the system features function properly and are easy to understand, and the system meets expectations.

Abstract

Gamelan is an orchestra consisting of instruments made of stone, wood, bamboo, iron, bronze, leather, strings and others using pelog and slendro barrels, and has 7 pepatutan or pathet namely; (1) pathet selisir, (2) pathet panji, (3) pathet tembung (4) pathet sunaren, (5) pathet baro, (6) pathet pengenter, dan (7) pathet malat, each pepatutan or pathet has special characteristics with the rules for how to play it in each Balinese Gamelan group. Along with the development of the era, there is a transition in the way of teaching in the past and now that is different, so that today's children only know the order in which the gamelan blades are struck, not the barrel of the gamelan sound. Therefore, the author wants to build a system that can classify sound tunings into 7 pepatuans or pathets contained in the Balinese Gamelan. This system will be designed and built based on the appropriate grouping or pathet obtained using the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm and Support Vector Machine. Based on the test results, the KNN algorithm gives more effective results in grouping sound barrels with a percentage accuracy rate of 100%, while the SVM algorithm gives an accuracy percentage of 74.29%. Testing of the time required in the classification process also shows that KNN provides a faster processing time of 0.14388 seconds compared to SVM, which is 0.17642 seconds. KNN gives better results because, in principle, K-NN chooses the nearest neighbor which uses the distance parameter, namely the Euclidean distance, which is very suitable for use in determining the shortest distance between two data.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbandingan performa API yang menggunakan basis data relasional MySQL dan basis data NoSQL MongoDB dalam konteks Sistem Informasi Pengelolaan Air Limbah (DSDP) milik Pemerintah Provinsi Bali. API yang diuji menampilkan data tagihan atau invoice yang belum terbayar untuk satu pelanggan, yang memerlukan filtering dan join dengan tabel lain. Saat ini, sistem menghadapi tantangan performa karena jumlah data yang mencapai 2 juta baris dan terus bertambah, yang menyebabkan waktu respons semakin lambat saat menjalankan query SQL. Untuk meminimalkan masalah ini, dilakukan evaluasi terhadap skema penyimpanan data alternatif, termasuk menghindari join dan memanfaatkan NoSQL. Pengujian menggunakan load testing berbasis API dengan Apache JMeter untuk mensimulasikan akses pengguna secara simultan dengan variasi beban. Metrik kinerja seperti waktu respons, throughput, dan error rate digunakan untuk mengevaluasi performa kedua database. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan MongoDB memiliki performa yang lebih unggul dengan response time 49.35% lebih cepat, peningkatan throughput rata-rata 54.5%, dan tingkat error yang lebih rendah (0.67%) dibandingkan MySQL (1.23%) pada beban puncak. Penggunaan resource juga lebih efisien dengan utilisasi CPU 15.7% lebih rendah. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat berfokus pada optimasi performa MongoDB dalam lingkungan terdistribusi dan implementasi strategi backup yang efisien.

Abstract

The V-Soft application offers module integration and inventory management through a user-friendly interface. However, with technological advancements, users expect a system that is not only accurate and efficient but also easy to use and enjoyable. This study examines six user experience dimensions: attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty, based on data collected from 104 users through a questionnaire comprising 26 items. The analysis results indicate that the dimensions of attractiveness (4.88) and novelty (5.03) received positive scores, suggesting that users find the application appealing and innovative, particularly in the financial reporting features. The stimulation dimension also recorded a high score (4.80), indicating that the application's features provide motivation and engagement for users. However, the efficiency (3.27) and dependability (3.00) dimensions showed low scores, reflecting challenges in completing tasks quickly and accurately, as well as a lack of user motivation to use the application consistently. Meanwhile, the clarity dimension (4.10) was moderate, suggesting that the application's interface still requires improvement. In conclusion, the V-Soft Accounting application is considered attractive and innovative, especially in terms of its attractiveness and novelty.   Keywords— User experience, V-Soft Accounting, User Experience Questionnaire, user-friendly.

Abstract

The current era of globalization where information is needed very quickly. However, this is an obstacle, especially at the village level where the performance of the village, especially in rural areas, is difficult to obtain information, because it still uses manual bookkeeping. In response to this, the Jembarana Regency Government has improved its services using the website-based E-Kinerja application. Even though E-Kinerja has been used, it is important to know how user sentiment is when using the E-Kinerja system so that it can be used as an evaluation. This study aims to determine the sentiment of E-Kinerja users using the Naive Bayes method, Naive Bayes is a simple method and has high effectiveness in classification. The results of sentiment analysis with the Naive Bayes method get an accuracy of 66% precison 67% and recall 67% with a total of 88 datasets, an accuracy of 77% precison 69% and recall 69% in a total of 150 datasets.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teachers' readiness to integrate artificial intelligence into education for the digital revolution. In this study, teachers were randomly selected with a total of 73 teachers from various subjects. This research used a quantitative method of using questionnaires for data collection. The data analysis technique in this research uses descriptive quantitative.  Based on the research findings, technical ability, institutional support, adequate technological infrastructure, and school facilities affected teachers' readiness to use various types of artificial intelligence. Urban teachers were more ready than rural teachers, largely because urban teachers have more access to training materials and technology than rural teachers. In the future, in enabling AI to be used effectively to improve learning standards, government support needs to conduct specialized AI training at various school levels from urban to rural areas, in particular, stronger institutional support, and better school infrastructure and facilities to enhance teachers' readiness to face the digital revolution in education.

Abstract

The assessment of the usability of online learning systems is becoming more and more critical in order to ensure that users have the best possible experience. This study employed the System Usability Scale (SUS) to assess the usability of the learning management system at UNDIKNAS, using 68 students from various academic programs as participants. The employed methodology is administering a SUS questionnaire consisting of 10 items on a Likert scale from 1 to 5. The points are computed using the standard SUS methodology and multiplied by 2.5 to derive the final score. The analysis disclosed an average SUS score of 56.65, falling short of the academic usability benchmark 68. The score distribution visualization indicated that most respondents rated between 50 and 60, highlighting the need for system improvement. The SUS assessment of the learning management system at UNDIKNAS reveals that the system's usability necessitates improvement. Key recommendations include improving the user interface, optimizing navigation, and providing user guides to enhance the overall user experience

Abstract

Perkembangan berita digital telah tumbuh sangat cepat. Saat ini diperkirakan 80% berita digital dalam bentuk tidak terstruktur. Tingginya volume dokumen teks ini dipicu oleh aktivitas dari berbagai sumber berita. Kebutuhan analisis text mining sangat diperlukan dalam menangani teks yang tidak terstruktur tersebut. Untuk mengklasifikasikan berita, banyak peneliti yang berusaha untuk melakukan klasifikasi terhadap berita ini secara otomatis, salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan klasifikasi naïve bayes. Pada penelitian ini selain menggunakan naïve bayes, peneliti juga akan menggunakan fitur N-Gram. Diharapkan dengan penambahan metode ini, dapat meningkatkan tingkat akurasi dari klasifikasi naïve bayes.

Abstract

Email telah menjadi salah satu hal yang penting dalam perkembangan sarana komunikasi. Email telah menggantikan komunikasi yang dilakukan melalui surat. Fasilitas email yang mudah digunakan dan murah mengakibatkan banyaknya email yang berisi iklan dan promosi bisnis masuk ke dalam inbox pengguna email. Email iklan inilah yang disebut sebagai spam mail. Untuk mencegah spam email, maka banyak peneliti yang berusaha untuk melakukan filter terhadap email spam ini secara otomatis, salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan klasifikasi naïve bayes. Pada penelitian ini selain menggunakan naïve bayes, peneliti juga akan menggunakan metode POS Tagger. Diharapkan dengan penambahan metode ini, dapat meningkatkan tingkat akurasi dari klasifikasi naïve bayes.
