Abstract

This study aims to heat mapping the consumer’s movement using background subtraction techniques. The mapping is built using the coordinate information obtained from the consumer location that detected from the video where the separation of the consumer object and the background is done by background subtraction technique. Tests were performed on eleven video of consumer data activity that have different activity characteristics that were created using Microsoft PowerPoint application. Simulated activities include walking straight, staying, walking back to the path that had been passed, pacing, disturbance from another object, the influence of color, the consumer walks meet and coincide with other consumers. From the test of video discovery is obtained accuracy of 96.07% for the detection process of consumer movement, where the lack of detection process occurs due to the absence of techniques used to perform the introduction of characteristics of consumer objects. The mapping process is very much in line with the number of coordinates generated in the motion detection process, but the inaccurate detection of movement in the entrance and exit areas makes the coordinates high. By filtering with Region of Interes (ROI) in the survey area, creating disturbances in the area of doors and areas with objects that produce movements other than consumers can be eliminated.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology requires educators to possess adequate digital literacy to effectively integrate technology into the teaching and learning process. However, digital literacy among subject teachers varies widely and requires special attention, especially in maximizing the use of technology to support educational practices. This study aims to provide an overview of the digital literacy levels of Indonesian language teachers at the junior high school level. The research employed a qualitative method with an online survey involving 72 Indonesian language teachers, selected through a cluster-quota sampling technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire adapted from the DigCompEdu model, comprising 22 core statements and 13 additional questions to explore the sample’s characteristics and teaching environment. Data were analyzed by comparing the percentage scores in each aspect of digital literacy within the DigCompEdu model. The results showed that most teachers reached the B1: Integrator level of digital literacy, reflecting their ability to integrate technology effectively into teaching. Teachers predominantly used digital technologies such as presentation media when teaching Indonesian language subjects. However, the study also identified several areas for improvement, including reflective practice, resource selection, teaching, evidence analysis, differentiation and personalization, and communication skills. This study concludes by emphasizing the importance of continuous digital literacy development to enable teachers to maximize the potential of technology in education.

Abstract

Emotions play an essential role in human reasoning. Researchers have made various efforts to improve emotion classification methods. Based on the several emotion classification methods studied in previous studies, the Continuous Capsule Network method produced the highest accuracy compared to other classification methods. This method can maintain spatial information from electroencephalogram signals so they are not reduced. However, this method has only been tested subject-dependently. Based on this study, the Continuous Capsule Network method will be applied to classify emotions in the Faculty of Engineering and Vocational Studies, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha students. The number of participants involved in this study was 17 people (10 men and 7 women). Through six subjectindependent test scenarios, the Continuous Capsule Network method produced accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 scores of 99.31%, 99.34%, 99.20%, and 99.27, respectively. At the same time, the loss value was 0.88%. In addition, the Continuous Capsule Network method produced an average training and validation time of 401.17 seconds and an average testing time of 4.67 seconds for the six test scenarios.

Abstract

The TSP problem is one where a seller visits multiple destinations at the same time and they are only allowed to visit once. The purpose of this TSP is to shorten the shortest distance, thereby minimizing time and cost. There are various methods to solve the TSP problem, including greedy algorithm, brute force algorithm, hill climbing method, ant algorithm, and genetic algorithm. Each process in a genetic algorithm is affected by several parameters, including population size, maximum generation, crossover rate, and mutation rate. The purpose of this study is to apply genetic algorithms to the traveling salesman problem optimization, calculate the maximum influence of generation, chromosome number, crossover rate and mutation rate on the optimal genetic algorithm, calculate the range of chromosome number, population size, crossover rate and mutation rate for genetic algorithm in the traveling salesman problem and calculate the effect of adaptive genetic algorithm parameters on genetic algorithm results. Based on the results obtained from research and testing, the four parameters of the genetic algorithm are positively correlated with fitness results while negatively correlated with execution time performance where each adaptive parameter applied provides more optimal fitness results than static parameters. The four adaptive parameters that are applied together give optimal results, both fitness which reaches 1.0% and time reaches 38.7%.
