Abstract

The training management procedures for PMI volunteers have not been implemented continuously due to the limited resources of this non-profit organization. This study aims to explore the capacity of volunteers after one year of training and task placement in the Reproductive and Sexual Health Program for adolescents. A qualitative approach was used to analyze the volunteers' knowledge and skills, with data collected through interviews and questionnaires involving 26 respondents. The results indicate that the volunteers' overall capacity is adequate to fulfill their roles, supported by commitment, solidarity, and the ability to share experiences. However, competency in handling cases of sexual violence remains inconsistent among volunteers. Volunteers with less than five years of experience tend to provide brief responses when assisting victims of sexual violence. The study recommends implementing regular, continuous training schedules and establishing forums or communities for volunteer experience-sharing. The outcomes of these discussions can serve as the basis for developing case-based guidebooks and FAQ lists. These learning resources are expected to enhance the capacity of new volunteers, ensuring the program's sustainability.

Abstract

Abstract Protection and fulfillment of reproductive and sexual health rights for Indonesian women remain very low. On the other hand, sex education is still considered taboo. Societal stigma tends to be negative towards victims of sexual violence. As a result, victims feel ashamed and unworthy of reporting themselves. Based on these issues, reproductive health and anti-violence support activities for women are carried out. This support is used as a strategy to improve human resources through self-identification that they are part of the problem. This awareness will lead participants to explore alternative solutions to address the issue. The activity is conducted using mentoring circle method. It aims to enhance empowerment through efforts to protect reproductive health and combat violence against women. The activities are carried out at Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar (SKB) Negeri 16 Rawasari. The results of the activity show an increase in participants' understanding of self-protection from sexual violence and reproductive health. Protection and fulfillment of reproductive and sexual health rights are demonstrated by the participants' ability to explain 1) the concept of reproductive health and sexual violence, 2) the relationship between reproductive health, sexual violence, and women's empowerment, 3) the application of healthy reproductive and anti-sexual violence behaviors, and 4) the practice of seeking help when experiencing reproductive issues and sexual violence. Abstract

This research analyzed the implementation of training need analysis (TNA) for employee development at Permata Bank's Collection & Recovery Unit in East Jakarta. The issue stemmed from a mismatch between training programs and employee needs, leading to suboptimal unit performance. The study aimed to describe training needs, TNA application, and influencing factors. Employing a descriptive qualitative case study method, data was gathered via interviews, observations, and documentation, validated through triangulation. Findings revealed TNA implementation was suboptimal due to L&D implementers' limited competence and insufficient employee involvement, resulting in irrelevant and ineffective training. Inhibiting factors included minimal management support, time constraints, and resistance to change, despite adequate training facilities. Recommendations included specialized TNA training for L&D, standardized TNA guidelines, benchmarking, and regular evaluation for continuous improvement.

Abstract

Background: The free meal program (Makan Bergizi Gratis) in senior high schools aims to enhance student well-being by providing adequate nutritional intake. However, its implementation requires comprehensive evaluation, particularly regarding coordination mechanisms and the fulfillment of hormonal nutritional needs critical for adolescent development. This study analyzes the free meal program through the lens of the Utilization-Focused Evaluation (UFE) approach, with a specific focus on students' hormonal nutrition. Method: This research employed a mixed-methods design, combining qualitative descriptive analysis with a case study approach and quantitative anthropometric data. Qualitative data were collected through interviews and observations involving eight informants, including teachers and students. Data analysis involved data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, using both methodological and source triangulation to ensure data validity. Results: The findings indicate that: (1) Program coordination is suboptimal, with food delivery not consistently punctual. (2) The meals provided lack sufficient variety, particularly in delivering essential proteins and healthy fats necessary for hormonal balance during adolescence. (3) Student and parental involvement in menu selection and program evaluation remains limited. (4) Feedback to students is provided periodically. Implications: This study recommends strengthening inter-stakeholder coordination, diversifying the nutritional content of menus, and involving both students and parents in program evaluation. Sustainable funding is also identified as a critical factor for ensuring the program's long-term effectiveness. Novelty: This study offers novel insights into the application of Utilization-Focused Evaluation (UFE) in assessing free meal programs and highlights the importance of hormonal nutrition in supporting adolescent development.

Abstract

The limited systematic evaluation of the effectiveness of partnership-based projects in supporting creative economy policies poses a challenge in developing sustainable entrepreneurship models. This study aims to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of partnership-based Wedding Organizer start-up development projects in supporting national creative economy policies. The evaluation was conducted using Stake's Countenance Model, which includes three main components: antecedents, transactions, and outcomes. The research instrument was developed based on three layers of theory: Grand Theory, Middle Range Theory, and Applied Theory. It was then validated using Aiken's V approach and tested for reliability using Cronbach's Alpha. The study's results indicate that the program has a positive impact on increasing the entrepreneurial capacity of participants, enhancing the effectiveness of partnership-based training, and promoting business sustainability. The program also successfully established a broad business network, directly contributing to local economic growth. These findings provide new insights into the effectiveness of evaluating partnership models within the creative economy ecosystem. This evaluation model can be replicated and adapted for similar programs in other creative sectors to support community-based development policies.

Abstract

The dynamic and multifaceted roles of educators in community education, this study emphasizes the essentiality of establishing a continuous and comprehensive evaluation mechanism. This study evaluates the role of technical guidance in supporting the functional responsibilities of these positions, employing a multidimensional approach to improve educational outcomes. Through a comprehensive evaluation system that incorporates continuous feedback, this research investigates the impacts of technical guidance on teaching practices and learning quality. Utilizing a descriptive quantitative methodological framework, this inquiry engaged 107 participants and 22 instructors from a technical guidance initiative, with a focus on systematically analyzing the initiative's efficacy within the educational milieu. The evaluative methodology employed herein encompasses an assessment of the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor dimensions of learning, utilizing descriptive statistical techniques to elucidate trends, patterns, and interrelations within the dataset. The findings of this scholarly investigation reveal that the technical guidance initiative has registered notable success in several domains, particularly in enhancing competencies and updating facilitators' insights regarding regulations and educational technologies. Nonetheless, it concurrently identifies domains necessitating enhancement, such as participant engagement and evaluative methods. The implications emanating from these findings bear significant ramifications for educational policy formulation and pedagogical practice. Recommendations proffered include the enhancement of material delivery clarity and engagement, diversification of implementation methodologies, refinement of assessment protocols, and an emphasis on the educators' well-being. This research furnishes a foundational basis for forthcoming endeavors aimed at optimizing technical guidance strategies, thereby augmenting the overall educational outcomes.

Abstract

The SMK Center of Excellence (SMK PK) program is a government initiative to improve the quality of vocational education to be more aligned with the needs of the world of work and industry. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the SMK PK program in improving graduate absorption. The approach used in this research is mixed methods with a sequential exploratory design, which integrates qualitative and quantitative analysis. The evaluation was conducted using the CIPPO (Context, Input, Process, Product, Outcomes) and Kirkpatrick models to analyze the policy, resources, implementation, and impact of the program on graduates and industry. However, in this discussion, the analysis is focused on the Kirkpatrick model with a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression. The research sample was selected using purposive sampling technique, while the quantitative data analysis aims to measure the influence of the main factors in the success of this program. The results show that the availability of resources has a positive and significant influence on the quality of graduates, while the quality of teaching shows a significant negative influence. This indicates that improving the availability of resources, such as facilities and teaching materials, contributes more to improving the quality of graduates than the quality of teaching, which in the context of this study shows a negative relationship. In addition, the mediating variable does not have a significant role in bridging the relationship between teaching quality and resource availability to graduate quality.

Abstract

This study evaluates the implementation of the Child-Friendly School (CFS) program in Bekasi City using the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, Product). Data were collected through interviews, field observations, and document analysis to capture the perspectives of principals, teachers, students, and parents. Findings show significant variations among schools. SDI Labschool STAI Bani Saleh achieved a mature implementation stage, with child-friendly principles fully internalized, participatory learning applied, and strong collaboration with parents and community stakeholders. SMPN 4 Bekasi was in a transitional phase, with partial teacher readiness and limited facilities, while MI At-Taqwa 28 remained at an initial stage, emphasizing socialization rather than practical application. Analysis indicates that low contextual and input readiness restricts the quality of processes and outcomes, whereas higher readiness supports inclusive practices and student well-being. This study provides practical recommendations for improving teacher capacity, school infrastructure, and stakeholder engagement, aiming to strengthen the sustainability and effectiveness of CFS programs in urban contexts. The results also offer guidance for policymakers and school administrators to enhance child-centered education practices in similar urban settings.
