Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of inflation, interest rates, exchange rates, and the Indonesian Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI), which is based on the inconsistencies of previous studies regarding inflation results, interest rate results, exchange rate results, as well as the results of the ISHG against the ISSI. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research data source uses secondary data in the first quarter of 2012 – fourth quarter of 2022 in the form of the closing price of the ISSI from https://www.ojk.go.id/ then the closing price for inflation, interest rates, exchange rates from https://www. ojk.go.id/ www.bi.go.id/, and the closing price of the Indonesian composite index from https://finance.yahoo.com/, which were processed using SPSS 26 software with multiple linear analysis. The results showed that inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates partially had no significant effect on the ISSI. Meanwhile, the IHSG had a significant effect on the ISSI. The variables of inflation, interest rates, exchange rates, and the IHSG simultaneously affect the ISSI. These results have implications for policymakers regarding the Islamic capital market.

Abstract

The demands of the workplace in the Industry 4.0 era require vocational education to produce graduates who not only master technical skills but also possess non-technical (or "soft") skills, such as communication, teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving. This study aims to identify and analyze effective institutional practices in developing soft skills in vocational higher education. This research employs a qualitative case study approach, using semi-structured interviews with department heads, study program heads, and lecturers at two State polytechnics in Indonesia. Thematic analysis reveals that soft skills development is implemented through four primary strategies: student orientation, internal training, external training with industry, and integration into the curriculum. These four strategies form a holistic institutional model to strengthen students' personal and professional readiness for the workplace. The research findings emphasize the importance of systematic management of soft skills development to produce vocational graduates who are technically competent, possess strong character, and are highly competitive.

Abstract

The contemporary educational landscape is undergoing a massive transformation driven by globalization, forcing Islamic Educational Institutions (LPI) to navigate between maintaining moral traditions and competing in a liberal, outcome-oriented market. This study aims to explore how the integration of cultural capital and local religious values can serve as a robust foundation for marketing strategies in LPI to build public trust. Utilizing a qualitative approach with library research, this study deconstructs Pierre Bourdieu's theory of cultural capital and contextualizes it within the framework of local Indonesian religiosity. The findings reveal that LPI possess unique inherent advantages, namely embodied, objectified, and institutionalized cultural capital—ranging from student habitus (ethics and discipline) to classical literacy (kitab kuning) and formal certifications—which can be converted into symbolic capital and competitive advantages. Furthermore, local religiosity serves as an authentic Unique Selling Proposition (USP) that offers identity security for parents amidst global value shifts. The study concludes that successful LPI marketing must transition from transactional approaches to sophisticated symbolic capital management, rebranding traditional values as "Future-Ready Skills" while maintaining ethical digital communication to avoid the commodification of religion.

Abstract

Desa Harmoni" adalah program pengabdian yang berfokus pada penguatan moderasi beragama berbasis kearifan lokal di Desa Wisata Gulurejo, Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Program ini dirancang untuk mengatasi tantangan yang muncul dari masuknya paham keagamaan ekstrem yang mengancam keharmonisan sosial dan citra desa wisata. Urgensi program ini terletak pada fenomena menurunnya partisipasi pemuda dalam tradisi kultural seperti "Merti Desa", "Gejog Lesung", dan "Nyadran", serta munculnya konflik terkait penggunaan fasilitas umum dan penyelenggaraan atraksi wisata budaya. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif dan kolaboratif, program ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model moderasi beragama berbasis kearifan lokal, membangun kapasitas tokoh agama, adat, dan pengelola desa wisata, mengembangkan Kelompok Usaha Bersama, serta mengembangkan paket wisata edukasi "Gulurejo Harmoni". Program menggunakan metode Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) untuk pemetaan kearifan lokal dan Training of Trainers (ToT) untuk membangun kapasitas fasilitator lokal. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan kapasitas tokoh agama dan pemuda dalam mempromosikan narasi moderasi beragama, penguatan forum dialog, peningkatan partisipasi dalam tradisi lokal, dan terintegrasi-nya nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dalam pengembangan desa wisata. Program ini relevan dengan upaya pencapaian Indikator Kinerja Utama (IKU) perguruan tinggi dan mendukung implementasi program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) bagi mahasiswa

Abstract

Community service is an integral part of the "Tri Dharma" of higher education that must be carried out by lecturers, including those at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. This activity involves lecturers engaging with communities or industry partners outside the campus, aiming to maximize their expertise while addressing problems or optimizing the potential within society. This particular community service proposal adopts the "Mbangun Desa" (Building Villages) scheme, targeting human resource development with a specific focus on strengthening the character of youth. The program, titled "Strengthening the Character of Youth in Pacarejo Village, Semanu District, Gunung Kidul Regency Through this community service program, it is expected that youth in Pacarejo Village, Semanu, Gunung Kidul will improve their Qur'anic recitation skills and build strong character.
