Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of several varieties on different populations on the growth and yield of shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) from botanical seeds (True Shallot Seed). This research was an experimental research conducted from August to October 2021 in the integrated farming system area, Serang, Banten. This research was laid out in a factorial randomized block design (RCBD) consisting of two factors. The first factor was the differences in varieties consist of 3 levels, namely Maserati (v1), Sanren (v2), and Tuk-Tuk (v3). The second factor was the population which consists of 4 levels, namely the population of 1 plant (p0), 2 plants (p1), 3 plants (p2), and 4 plants (p3). The results showed that there was an interaction between the varieties and populations on the parameters of fresh weight of bulbs/plant, the combination of Maserati variety with 1 population (40.32g). The Sanren variety gave the best effect on the parameters of bulbs/plant (1.92 bulbs).  Keyword : Population, Shallot, Varieties

Abstract

Creativity in learning is very important to grow and develop one's potential. Educators have duties and roles as learning resources. One of the factors that influence students' interest in learning is the creativity of educators. This research was conducted to find out 1) how is the creativity of class V educators in thematic learning at MIN 2 Makassar, 2) how is the learning interest of fifth grade students in thematic learning at MIN 2 Makassar, 3) the influence of educator creativity in increasing the learning interest of fifth grade students in learning at MIN 2 Makassar. The type of research used in this research is quantitative using a correlational research approach. This research took place at MIN 2 Makasaar Jl. Freedom Pioneers Km. 15, Daya, Biringkanaya sub-district, Makassar City. This study used a sample of 32 respondents. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, distributing questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the Creativity of Class V Educators in Thematic Learning at MIN 2 Makassar is in the high category with a percentage value of 56.25%. The Learning Interest of Class V Students in Thematic Learning at MIN 2 Makassar is in the high category with a percentage value of 56.25%. The calculation results of the Effect of Educator Creativity in Increasing Learning Interest of Class V Students in Thematic Learning at MIN 2 Makassar using simple linear regression shows a positive effect where the regression equation is Y = 9.225 + 0.910X, this means that if educators' creativity is increased then interest student learning will also increase

Abstract

Based on the learning outcomes of Class IV students at SDN 18 Batang Gasan in social studies subjects it was found that student learning outcomes in social studies subjects were still very low. The average student learning outcomes are still under the KKM. The purpose of this study is to describe and obtain information about efforts to improve student learning outcomes in sub-social studies subjects. Explain the relationship between structure, function, and processes and disorders / diseases that can occur in the excretion system in humans and animals (fish and insects) through the method Feedback Partner in Class IV SDN 18 Batang Gasan. This research is a classroom action research. The procedure of research in this study includes planning, action, observation and reflection. This study consisted of two cycles with four meetings. The subjects of the study consisted of 30 students of Class IV SDN 18 Batang Gasan. Research data was collected using observation sheets and daily tests. Data were analyzed using percentages. Based on the results of research and discussion that have been put forward, it can be concluded that the Feedback Partner Method (Feedback) can improve student learning outcomes in sub-social studies subjects Explain the relationship between structure, function, and processes and disorders / diseases that can occur in the excretory system in humans and animals (fish and insects) at SDN 18 Batang Gasan. Student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. The learning outcomes of students in the first cycle were 55.33 (Enough), increasing to 84.43 (Good) with an increase of 29.10%.

Abstract

KARTINA. 2023. Startegi Orang Tua dalam Mendampingi Anak Usia DIni Menggunakan Gadget Di Kelurahan Gantarangkeke, Kecamatan Gantarangkeke Kabupaten Bantaeng. Jurusan Pendidikan Luar Sekolah, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Negeri Makassar. (di dibimbing oleh M. Ali Latif Amri dan Suardi). Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang strategi orang tua dalam mendampingi anak usia dini menggunakan gadget di Kelurahan Gantarangkeke Kecamatan Gantarangkeke Kabupaten Bantaeng. Subjek dalam penelitian ini 5 orang yaitu orang tua yang memiliki anak usia 4-6 tahun di Kelurahan Gantarangkeke. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, Dimana menggunakan kata-kata yang disusun dalam sebuah teks yang diperluas atau dideskripsikan. Teknik penggumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian dengan cara observasi (pengamatan), wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa ada 4 (empat) strategi dalam mendampingi anak menggunakan gadget yaitu pertama, memilih aplikasi sesuai dengan usia anak. Kedua, batasan waktu bermain gadget dengan cara membiasakan anak disiplin waktu dalam menggunakan gadget dengan waktu yang dibatasi oleh para orang tua. Ketiga, pengawasan dan bimbingan orang tua, yang dimana aktivitas anak menjadi terkontrol karena adanya bimbingan dan pengawasan dari orang tua. Keempat, hindarkan kecanduan dengan cara ketika anak berada dirumah orang tua memberikan kesempatan kepada anak untuk menceritakan kegiatan apa yang saja yang telah dilakukan, mendampingi atau mengawasi anak ketika bermain.Kata Kunci : Strategi  Orang Tua, Penggunaan Gadget, Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Formulasi dan sediaan spray secara alami dapat dimanfaatkan dari larutan fermentasi kombucha bunga telang sebagai salah satu upaya dalam menghambat pertumbuhan jamur patogen penyebab penyakit maupun infeksi yang terjadi pada tanaman komoditas hortikultura. Tujuan: Membuat formulasi dan sediaan Spray dengan bahan aktif larutan fermentasi kombucha bunga telang pada konsentarsi yang berbeda dalam menghambat pertumbuhan Fusarium oxyporum. Metode: Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental laboratorium yaitu dengan cara membuat formulasi dan sediaan spray dengan bahan aktif larutan fermentasi kombucha bunga telang pada konsentrasi gula sebesar 20%, 30%, dan 40%. Hasil: Konsentrasi gula pada sediaan spray kombucha bunga telang berbeda nyata dengan konsentrasi 20% dan 40% sebagai produk bioteknologi farmasi dan antifungi Fusarium oxyporum penyebab penyakit dan infeksi pada tanaman komoditas hortikultura dengan rata-rata diameter zona hambat adalah sebesar 14,03 mm yang termasuk kategori kuat.  Kesimpulan: Bahwa semakin tinggi konsentrasi gula sebagai substrat pada formulasi dan sediaan spray dengan bahan aktif larutan fermentasi kombucha bunga telang, maka semakin berpotensi juga sebagai produk bioteknologi farmasi dalam menghambat pertumbuhan Fusarium oxyporum.

Abstract

Egg chips are not yet common in society; therefore it is necessary to require attention for consumer assessments. Consumer ratings of egg chips indicate that consumers can accept egg chip products. The study aims to determine the effect of adding the types and levels of filler on the organoleptic quality of egg chips. Eighty-one eggs were used in the research. The studies were arranged based on a completely randomized design with a 3 x 3 factorial pattern with 3 replications. The first factor consisted of 3 types of fillers; there are tapioca powder, soybean protein isolate, and porang powder. The second factor was the level of filler (%) 3, 6, and 9 respectively. The parameters measured were egg chips' organoleptic quality (aroma, color, texture, and fondness). The results data indicated that the types and levels of fillers had a highly significant effect (P<0.01) on aroma egg chips. There was an interaction between types and levels of filler on the aroma. There was no significant difference (P>0.05) in color, texture, and fondness for egg chips. Adding the type and level of filler material could improve the organoleptic quality of egg chips. The addition of 9% of tapioca powder can increase the aroma of egg chips. Keywords: Egg powder, egg chips, organoleptic

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan serat bambu terhadap beton normal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis kuantitatif dengan eksperimen tentang penggunaan serat bambu sebagai bahan tambah pada pembuatan beton normal. Dari hasil penelitian pada ketiga kondisi dengan benda uji kubus dapat disimpulkan beton normal umur 28 hari dengan berat rata-rata 8,265 kg/m3 dengan nilai kuat tekan rata-rata yang diperoleh 27,244 Mpa. Sedangkan untuk campuran beton serat bambu 3% dengan berat rata-rata 7,991 kg/m3 dan beton serat bambu 5% dengan berat rata-rata 8,006 kg/m3 memiliki kuat tekan rata-rata sebesar 24,444 Mpa dan 22,533 Mpa. Penambahan serat bambu pada campuran beton berpengaruh pada kuat tekan beton dimana beton dengan tambahan serat bambu mengalami penurunan nilai kuat tekan, dibandingkan dengan beton normal tanpa serat bambu. Dari hasil penelitian kuat tekan beton dengan penambahan serat bambu secara keseluruhan mencapai mutu yang direncanakan. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of adding bamboo fiber to normal concrete.  The research method used is quantitative with experiments on the use of bamboo fiber as an additional material in making normal concrete.  From the results of research on the three conditions with cube test objects, it can be concluded that normal concrete is 28 days old with an average weight of 8.265 kg/m3 with an average compressive strength value of 27.244 Mpa.  Meanwhile, the 3% bamboo fiber concrete mixture with an average weight of 7.991 kg/m3 and 5% bamboo fiber concrete with an average weight of 8.006 kg/m3 have an average compressive strength of 24,444 Mpa and 22,533 Mpa.  The addition of bamboo fiber to the concrete mixture has an effect on the compressive strength of the concrete where concrete with the addition of bamboo fiber experiences a decrease in compressive strength values, compared to normal concrete without bamboo fiber.  From the research results, the compressive strength of concrete with the addition of bamboo fiber overall reached the planned quality.

Abstract

Pengolahan kelapa menjadi Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) merupakan alternatif yang potensial untuk dikembangkan di Kalimantan Utara mengingat produksi kelapa di daerah tersebut cukup tinggi. VCO dapat dibuat dengan teknik enzimatis menggunakan enzim proteolitik yang mampu menghidrolisis ikatan peptida pada emulsi santan sehingga menjadi minyak. Enzim proteolitik yang telah teruji dalam pembuatan VCO ialah jenis enzim bromelin dan papain. Pada penelitian ini VCO dibuat dari kelapa dengan memanfaatkan buah nanas dan pepaya dari komoditas lokal Kalimantan Utara, untuk mengetahui jumlah enzim dan lama waktu inkubasi yang diperlukan untuk menghasilkan VCO dengan nilai rendemen dan kualitas yang tinggi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan dua faktor. Faktor pertama sumber enzim yang terdiri dari sari buah nanas 30% (N1), sari buah nanas 50% (N2), pepaya 30% (N3) dan 50% (N4). Faktor kedua ialah waktu inkubasi (P) yang terdiri dari 12 jam (P1), 24 jam (P2) dan 36 jam (P3). Pembuatan VCO menggunakan buah nanas dan pepaya mampu menghasilkan rendemen yang lebih tinggi sehingga efisiensi produksi dapat ditingkatkan. Rendeman paling tinggi dihasilkan pada perlakuan N2P3 (perlakuan sari buah nanas 50% + inkubasi 36 jam) dengan nilai rendemen sebesar 41%. Rata-rata nilai rendemen tertinggi dihasilkan pada penggunaan buah nanas yaitu sebesar 25%. Namun penggunaan buah nanas sebagai sumber enzim mempengaruhi karakteristik fisik VCO yang dihasilkan seperti aroma dan warna. Sedangkan penggunaan buah pepaya tidak mempengaruhi karakteristik fisik VCO yang dihasilkan. Nilai kadar air VCO dengan metode enzimatis masih belum memuaskan, yaitu berkisar antara 0,8-1,2%, nilai ini belum memenuhi standar SNI VCO yang mensyaratkan maksimal kadar air sebesar 0,2%. Kata kunci: VCO; nanas; pepaya; bromelin; papain; enzimatis

Abstract

Catfish (Clarias sp.) is one of the freshwater commodities that is favored because of its high economic value, rich in protein, can be cultivated in narrow land or yards and of course much in demand by the public. Efforts to develop in cultivation continue to be made, including an increase in seed production. The purpose of this activity is to provide training to partners in this case are students of the Department of Fisheries Cultivation, SMKN 1 Sebatik Barat regarding the semi-artificial spawning system (injection mating) and enrichment of feed with turmeric flour to support increased production and quality of catfish seeds. The methods used are socialization and counseling with lectures, hands-on practice related to injecting mating techniques with ovaprim hormone and making feed enriched with turmeric flour. The results of the activity showed an increase in partner knowledge regarding the benefits of turmeric and the role of hormone use in hatchery activities. In addition, partners have also been able to select gonadally mature broodstock, make feed enriched with turmeric flour and perform injection mating of catfish with hormones appropriately. The hope for follow-up is that partners can apply the techniques that have been learned for hatchery activities so that the scarcity of seeds, especially in West Sebatik, can be overcome and no longer have to bring in from outside

Abstract

Tarakan City is one of the cities which is famous for its fishery potential. Utilization of fishery products in an efficient and integrated manner is necessary, because fishery products are very susceptible to damage or deterioration of quality so that proper handling is needed, for example through diversification into various processed products. This activity is intended to provide knowledge and skills to PKK group as motivators in the community. This activity was held on Friday, February 7, 2020 which was attended by 40 participants. Activities consist of delivering materials and demonstrations of the manufacture of processed fish and shrimp products. The result of the activity is an increase in the skills and knowledge of the participants in the diversification of various fishery products into nutritious food. Given the great benefits of this activity, it is necessary to conduct similar training to the PKK group regarding packaging techniques so that the products produced can be marketed
