Abstract

 Counseling service in the school is the effort to help the students in to optimalize the development their self. SMP Negeri 20 Padang is one of the school that have done the students self development, but in fact the result of observation to some of the students found that many problems, such as the material is not effective and do not interesting for the students. The purpose of this research is to know the students perception about self development counceling in class VIII SMP Negeri 20 Padang. This is the descriptive research. The population is the students class VIII in SMP Negeri 20 Padang that registered in 2011/2012 that consist of eight class. The number of student 268. The sample is taken by simple random sampling technique. So the number of student is 59 from VIII.2 and VIII.6. the data is collect by using the arrangement of likert scala then analize by persentage tehnique. The group of the data are: very good, good, good enough and not good. From the reseach, it is found that 50,85% is good. The researcher suggest to the student to be more active and the teacher have to in crease the interaction with the student and give more chance to students.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the level of student  anxiety in the following Praktek Pengalaman Lapangan Bimbingan dan Konseling Sekolah  (PPLBKS) 2012-2013academicyear. Anxiety level of students in the following Praktek Pengalaman Lapangan Bimbingan dan Konseling Sekolah (PPLBKS) academic year 2012-2013 viewed from two aspects, namely in terms of the psychological aspects and physiological aspects (anxiety as physical symptoms, especially in the nervous system). This type of research is a descriptive study sought to describe a situation for what it is. The population in this study was students who follow the practice of field experience academic year 2012-2013. Sampling in this study using random sampling. The numbers are as many as 57 people. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. As for the use of data analysis techniques percentage. The results follow the anxiety level of students in the Praktek Pengalaman Lapangan Bimbingan dan Konseling Sekolah (PPLBKS) academic year 2012-2013 is seen from the psychological aspect of the criteria is very high (94.74%) and the physiological aspects of the criteria to be higher (57.89%). So the anxiety level of students in the following the Praktek Pengalaman Lapangan Bimbingan dan Konseling Sekolah (PPLBKS) 2012-2013 academic year are at very high category. Research students are advised to follow PPLBKS BK 2012-2013 academic year in order to relieve anxiety in one self in order for carrying out the practice field. Then also that during the performance of students PPLBKS not feel anxious and fearful during field training.

Abstract

The problem  this  research  is how  would be  effort  a directship and teacher in developing  psychology potency  the pupil  at   Junior High School  Negeri  9  Padang.  These research  its purpose  about  is  description   (1)  Be effort  a teacher  and directship   in developing  intellectual  and inteligency  potency the  pupil. (2)  Be effort  a teacher and directship  in developing  emotional and  inteligency  the pupil . This  research form  is descriptive research .The population   these   research  are  all of the pupil at  Junior High School Negeri  9   by sum of  718 person and  88 sampling  person .These research  being usefullProportionate  Stratified  Random Samplingor stratified  sampling   that is  get  off the sample from the populationhave  divided in stratified   or  strata . The resources data  whole is mean in the research  have  offered     initial    from  proving  its data. These  tool and equipment  all of  group data  are usefull  a questioner sheet. The  data is examined  by usefullpercently technic. Concomitan  here  research  and resulting  have been found  like is  footnote below .  (1)  Be effort  directship and teacher  in developing   intellectual  the pupil   at  Junior High School  Negeri 9 Padang   have proved  into  good  category. (2) Be effort  directship and teacher    in developing    emotional  inteligency  the  pupil   at  Junior High School Negeri 9 Padang  into good category. Abstract

The problems in this research is relationship of mental health with the adjustment of students in SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Padang. The purpose of this study are : 1. View an illustration of mental health of students. 2. View an adjusment of students. 3. View a relationship between  mental health and adjustment of students. This research is correlational description that attempted to describe the phenomenon specific events in detail, systematically, and it is in accordance with the facts and then sought the context.  its population are students in SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Padang which amount to 373 students. Samples in this study of 40 students. Sampling techniques used stratified random sampling. Instruments used in this study are questionnaire. For the analysis of data correlation or relationship by using the correlation tests of products moment. The Results of this study is 1. An illustration of mental health the students in SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Padang are in good condition. 2. An illustration of adjustment  the students in SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Padang also are in good condition. 3. The relationship of mental health with adjustment of students is very strong relationship. Based on the researcher finding are expected to all school personnel in order to create the harmonious condition, balanced, and comfortable throught the development of mental  health of students, so students can easily to do a good adjustment in school, and can be able to expand their talent as much as possible.

Abstract

Observations result through, students force themselves to follow trends such as: often change the handphone, exaggerated dress, lingerie model, students with a speaking style that candidates should not educators or guidance counselor. Also found students more obedient to the friends group, so that they can be accepted in the group. This research is a descriptive study attempted to describe the situation as it is. The study population was all students of Force Guidance and Counseling, 2009, 2010 and 2011 STKIP PGRI West Sumatra, a population of as many as 846 people. Samples were selected by proportional stratified random sampling technique, sampling of members of the population at random and stratified proportionally. Sample was 89 students guidance and counseling, using questionnaire data collection, statistical analysis used is descriptive by using a percentage formula. The results showed: 1) The level of conformity blind student guidance and counseling STKIP PGRI West Sumatra can categorized as high, 2) The level of conformity internalization Guidance and Counselling students STKIP PGRI West Sumatra in general can be categorized as high, and 3) The level of conformity internalization of student guidance and counseling STKIP PGRI West Sumatra is generally categorized as high. Observations result through could see that the level of conformity student guidance and counseling, including high and should be reduced for the foreseeable future

Abstract

This research bassed on the problem that had been found in location that hereare teachers who did not give reinforcement to the student. The purpose of this research is to recognize reinforcing relationship that is given by teacher in learning process with the confidence of student in SMA Bunda Padang. This kind of research correlation research. There are teacher who don’t give reinforcement, uncare and don’t pay enough attention to their student, student rarely answer the question that is asked by the teacher, there are student who has lack of confidence in studying. The population in this research is 214 and the sample that is observed as many as 54 people. The data  that is used in this research is interval data. To analyze the data, the Person Product Moment. The result of this research shows that there is significant relationship between reinforcement that is given by the teacher in learning process with the confidence of student in SMA Bunda Padang with score of r= 0,395. Conclusion: the relationship that is happen between both variable is positive correlation, which mean the bigger reinforcement, the higher level of the self confidence of student. The author suggest to the teacher to give reinforcement and help raising the self confidence of student in learning process.

Abstract

 This research is motivated by the lack of effetiveness the inplemention evaluation program by counselor teacher in junior high allof regencyKuranji Padang school. So that, the researcher interested to do the research. Based on the first sorvey, the researcher found that the counselor teacher not well yet to done implementation and seen how the implementation of evaluation program. This research aims to describe, 1). Preparation of evaluation program, 2).Instrument that used, 3).Implementation of evaluation program.                                              This research is descriptive qualitative study. Sample of the research are all of counselor teachers at junior hingh schoolin all of reggencyesKuranji Padang data were collected through interview and documentation study to implementation evaluation program. The data analysis technigveused is reduction data, describe the data, and eoncluded the data. The resuit of the research found that, 1). The tack of prepation of evaluation program, 2).Instrumet that used not well yet, 3). The lack of implementation activity evaluation program that done by all of counselor teachers. Basedonresuit of the research, nish that all of conunselor teachers inrease implementation evaluation program with effectiveness and efficient.

Abstract

This Problems based on the phenomenon that researchers found in the field was how the woman emotion level in to face of menopause in batu ajung, Sijunjung. This research aimed to describe: the woman emotion level in to face of menopause seen from the level of  positive and negative emotions in the face of female menopause. This research was a descriptive research that try to describe the way thing are. The population in this research was middle adult women who face menopause in batu ajung, sijunjung. Sampling in this research using purposive sampling so the sample size was 34 people. Instrument used in this research was a questionnaire. While for data analysis used  percentage technique.The research results revealed that: the woman emotion level in to face of menopause in batu ajung, sijunjung views from positive emotion level, was in  category low level, and the woman emotion level in to face in menopause in batu ajung, sijunjung seen from negative emotions level includes the high category.

Abstract

The problem of this research is based on the phenomenon that is found by the researcher. There are some students who have low self esteem, impolite, rude, likes to brother his friend. These students give bad impact to students’ social interaction among them in the classroom. The purpose of this research is to know the form of students’ associative and dissociative social interaction with their pairs at SMP Negeri 27 Padang grade VII. This research is a kind of descriptive research. The population of this study was the entire students grade VII (262 student). The populatotion of this study was 76 students and to get the sample the researcher used simple random sampling technique. The instrument of this research was questionnaire. To analiyze the data the researcher used percentage technique. The researchfindings that (1) associative that involve: a) cooperation that can be classified as deficient 59,12%, b) accommodation belongs of the less well with 61,84%, c) assimilation is classified as deficient with 44,73%,. (2)If we see from dissosiative that involve a) competition belongs of the less well with the percentage 59,21%, b) contravenes belongs of the less well with the percentage 51,31%, c) conflicts belong of the less wellwith 60,52%. Based on the result it can be concluded that students’ social interaction with their pairs is not good.

Abstract

The problem that would examined based on fenomena that examiner found in spacious some of the kindergarden students kaced difficulty in improving speaking skill. So, the examiner raised problems about: The parents effort to improved speaking skill for childrens (a case study at parents in  kindergarden ). The porpose of this research are to describes: 1) The parrents effort to improve speaking skill, that vaced by the childrens speaking understanding. 2) The parents effort to improve speaking skill that vaced in children speaking skill. Kind this research used descriptive quantity method. The population of this reseach is the parents of the students class B1 and B2 in  kindergarden Padang in 2012-2013 that some 30 people. The data collected by fill in the inquity, observation and interview, then did an analysis data with using persantase technic and narrative analise. The result reached showing that the parent effort to improve speaking skill to the childrents are. Vaced in childrents speaking skills is from respondence it also had in minus category. Base on the result resarch above, it can summaries that: parents effort to improve speaking skill to childrent it enter in minus category 50 that, hope foll to all of the student’s parents, alls of the feachers improving the children speaking skills as good and optimal.
