Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the ability of teachers at the As-Syifa Al-Khaeriyah Subang Foundation to write quality scientific papers that are worthy of publication. This activity was carried out in collaboration with the Unisma Bekasi Graduate School as a form of academic contribution in supporting teacher professionalism through strengthening academic literacy. The method of implementing the activity consisted of a pre-test to measure initial understanding, interactive training that included material on the nature of scientific papers, writing structures, article preparation techniques, and the selection of appropriate journals, and ended with writing practice and a clinic for the revision of participants' works. This activity was held for a full day on April 13, 2025, with a total of 50 teachers participating. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in the aspects of knowledge, technical skills, and positive attitude of teachers towards scientific paper writing activities. Post-test evaluation showed an increase in the average comprehension score of participants compared to pre-test. In addition, participants also showed enthusiasm and commitment to developing a writing culture in their respective school environments.

Abstract

Extremes in religion are a serious problem when looking at the country's heterogeneity and multiculturalism level. The results of extremes tend to give birth to religiously labeled conflicts, which require religious moderation to be embodied, one of which is through educational channels. Education is considered a path with potential because it is an educational forum for producing a moderate generation of the nation, one of which is Islamic Religious Education. Learning that is an aspect of education can be used as a path to implement religious moderation. Moreover, this study aims to reveal the concept of religious moderation according to M. Quraish Shihab and its application to learning Islamic religious education. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of research library research. Data collection techniques are documentation and content analysis as analytical techniques. From this study, several findings were found that religious moderation is a middle position (balance) in religion, meaning that it stands between two opposing sides of the extreme, while the purpose of religious moderation is to create a just, consistent, firm, and balanced perspective on both worldly and ukhrawi affairs. Moreover, religious moderation can be applied through learning methods such as discussions, group work, and tourist work.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan internet telah memicu transformasi di berbagai aspek kehidupan, khususnya dalam dunia bisnis melalui e-commerce. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengembangan bisnis sepatu branded second di Pringsewu berbasis e-commerce, mengidentifikasi potensi pasar, kendala yang dihadapi, serta strategi pemasaran digital yang efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa potensi pasar sepatu branded second di Pringsewu cukup besar, didukung oleh tingginya minat masyarakat terhadap produk berkualitas dengan harga terjangkau. Kendala utama meliputi rendahnya literasi digital pelaku usaha, keterbatasan modal, dan kendala teknis seperti akses internet dan listrik. Strategi pemasaran digital melalui media sosial dan platform marketplace terbukti efektif meningkatkan penjualan dan membangun kepercayaan konsumen. Disarankan adanya peningkatan kapasitas digital pelaku usaha, dukungan pembiayaan, serta pembangunan ekosistem yang mendukung pengembangan bisnis secara berkelanjutan. Dengan strategi yang tepat dan kolaborasi yang kuat, bisnis sepatu branded second berbasis e-commerce di Pringsewu berpotensi menjadi sektor unggulan UMKM yang mampu bersaing secara nasional dan internasional.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the strategies of private school principals in Bekasi in attracting prospective new students amidst intense competition between schools using SWOT analysis.  The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach.  Data collection through interviews, observation and documentation.  The research results show that based on the SWOT analysis, school principals use two strategies in recruiting prospective new students.  Namely an internal strategy by improving infrastructure and quality of learning as well as implementing programs that are attractive to students.  Meanwhile, external strategies are carried out by collaborating with students, parents and the surrounding community to jointly promote the school.

Abstract

SMP Xaverius Pringsewu setiap tahunya melaksanakan kegiatan penerimaan siswa baru tetapi dalam tehnik penyeleksiaanya masih menggunakan cara yang manual sehingga membutuhkan waktu yang lama dalam penetuan siswa yang layak untuk di terima SMP Xaverius Pringsewu. Proses manual membutuhkan waktu yang lama dan kecermatan, sehingga tidak optimalnya penerimaan siswa baru. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya metode yang efektif untuk mempermudah dalam penerimaan siswa baru di SMP Xaverius Pringsewu. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menentukan sistem penerimaa siswa baru yang lebih efektif dan efesien yang mempermudah SMP Xaverius Pringsewu dalam penetuan siswa yang layak masuk. Metode penelitian yaitu menggunaka sistem pendukung keputusan dengan metode Simple Additive Weighted (SAW) dengan tehnik penetuan kreteria sebagai unsur yang akan diberikan pembotoan dengan variable yang sudah ditentukan. Dalam pembuatan sistem ini maka diperlukan perancangan Diagram kontek, DFD, database dan server. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini berupa web mobile yang dapat dengan mudah diakses menggunakan smartphone maupun komputer. Sehingga dengan kemudahan ini akan menjadi fasilitas yang lebih baik dalam proses penerimaan siswa baru di SMP Xaverius Pringsewu dengan cepat, tepat dan efektif dan tidak ada pihak yang dirugikan karena kesalaahn dalam proses penilian penerimaan siswa di SMP Xaverius Pringsewu.

Abstract

This study aims to understand how the Aboge Islamic community in Sumbersuko Village maintains its existence amid modernization, which tends to promote uniformity in religious practices. This research employs a qualitative approach with an ethnographic method. The researcher acts as the main instrument, and data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed inductively through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The study focuses on three aspects: first, understanding Aboge Islam as a form of religious expression intertwined with local culture; second, exploring the function of the Aboge calendar as a timekeeping system rich in spiritual meaning and cultural identity; third, analyzing the practice of the collective tradition of Jumat Legi Night as a means of strengthening internal solidarity and building inclusive social relationships. The findings show that the Aboge Islamic community successfully preserves its traditions by developing adaptive strategies rooted in ancestral values while remaining open to wider social interaction. Their religious practices serve not only as cultural resistance but also as a unifying force in the midst of social change.

Abstract

Speech (Khitobah) is one of the essential activities in pesantren education that not only trains public speaking skills but also serves as a strategic medium for strengthening the values of Islamic preaching (da'wah). Through khitobah, Islamic teachings are not only conveyed but also deeply instilled in the students (santri). This study aims to examine the integration of da'wah values in khitobah activities as a means of strengthening the Islamic character of students at Pesantren Zainul Hasanain Genggong. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that khitobah activities are conducted in a structured manner using the memorization method. The integrated da'wah values include monotheism (tauhid), honesty, justice, Islamic brotherhood (ukhuwah Islamiyah), responsibility, discipline, and cleanliness. These values are integrated through the processes of text preparation, memorization, delivery, and sermon evaluation. The khitobah activity significantly contributes to shaping the Islamic character of students, which is reflected in their behavior and social attitudes in daily life, both within the pesantren environment and in the broader community.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the values of character education in the book Muhammad Al Fatih 1453 by Felix Y. Siauw and its relevance to Islamic religious education in the contemporary era. Using a qualitative approach through literature study and content analysis, this research highlights the aspects of religiosity, leadership, hard work, tolerance, and love for the country reflected in the figure of Sultan Mehmed II. These values not only reflect the superior character of a past Islamic leader, but are also relevant in shaping the personality of today's learners. This book illustrates that learning based on the history of Islamic figures can be an effective and contextual character learning strategy. In addition, Muhammad Al Fatih as a historical figure becomes a strong role model in the formation of morals, spirituality, and leadership vision. The relevance of these values to the Islamic Religious Education curriculum further emphasizes that character strengthening can be done through the integration of historical narratives into the educational process. Therefore, this study concludes that this book is very worthy of being used as a learning medium to strengthen the character of the younger generation in an applicable manner.

Abstract

Diversity is not something new, especially in Indonesia. This country, which was built on cultural, ethnic and cultural diversity, makes Bhineka Tunggal Ika the nation's identity to embrace these differences, especially in the world of education which is then known as multicultural education. This research is important to study, apart from the conditions in Indonesia which is inhabited by various cultures, the Qur'an and Hadith are also the main sources of jurisprudence to underlie multicultural education. Therefore, this research uses al-Qur'an and hadith as the main data in this research, so this research uses library research. In the end, this study explains multicultural education, including through the verses of the Qur'an QS. Al- Baqoroh: 62, QS. Ar-Rum: 22, QS. Al-Hujurot: 13 and QS. Yunus 40-41 and the hadith narrated by Imam Bukhori and Ahmad bin Hambal. In the Qur'an it is explained that the differences in religions, culture and ethnicity are not something that should be a problem, because basically the standard for measuring someone is their piety. While the perspective of the hadith is tolerance as one form of respecting differences in a multicultural culture.

Abstract

The school is facing challenges related to weaknesses in teacher discipline in carrying out daily tasks, such as frequent lateness, lack of reporting on learning activities, and poor classroom management. This study uses a qualitative approach and a school behavior research method conducted in two cycles. The instruments used in this study include observation, interviews, and documentation. The use of a School Information Management System (SIM) was implemented through a simple application that covers online attendance, educational activities, and daily performance assessment. The results showed a significant improvement in teacher discipline, with attendance increasing from 76% to 94% after the implementation of the SIM. Additionally, teachers became more motivated due to increased transparency and a better reporting system. This study concludes that SIM-based supervision and accountability-driven discipline are highly effective in improving teacher performance.
