Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Digital Transformation and Human Resource Management Practices on Internal Service Quality, with Organizational Agility as a mediating variable at the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration in West Kalimantan. The research employs a quantitative survey method using proportionate stratified sampling, involving 254 employees as respondents. The collected data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings indicate that Digital Transformation and Human Resource Management Practices have a significant effect on improving Internal Service Quality, both directly and indirectly through the enhancement of Organizational Agility. Organizational Agility also plays a mediating role in strengthening the relationship between these variables, highlighting its importance as a dynamic capability within the organization. The study concludes that strengthening digital integration, implementing adaptive human resource management practices, and improving organizational responsiveness are essential for enhancing internal service quality in public sector institutions. From a theoretical perspective, this research contributes to the development of the Resource-Based View and Social Exchange Theory within the context of digital public services. However, this study is limited by its cross-sectional research design, and future studies are recommended to use longitudinal approaches to better understand the causal relationships among the variables. The research method used is a systematic literature study by collecting and analyzing relevant literature sources. The results of the study show that the application of Human Relations Theory can be an effective strategy in managing resistance to change, especially in the context of the implementation of new management policies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of emotional intelligence on subjective career success by examining the mediating role of career adaptability and career resilience. This research employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The population consists of alumni of the Master of Management Program at Universitas Negeri Surabaya, with a sample of 64 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results indicate that emotional intelligence does not have a direct effect on subjective career success. However, emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on career adaptability and career resilience. Furthermore, career adaptability and career resilience significantly influence subjective career success and mediate the relationship between emotional intelligence and subjective career success. These findings suggest that subjective career success is not solely determined by emotional intelligence but also by an individual’s ability to adapt and remain resilient in a dynamic work environment.

Abstract

Urban food security in rapidly urbanizing contexts remains constrained by limited land availability and weak community-level adoption of sustainable food practices. Although urban farming is widely promoted, existing approaches are predominantly technocentric and insufficiently integrate experiential learning, community empowerment, and scalable dissemination mechanisms. This study is among the first to propose and empirically demonstrate an integrative model that combines low-cost bottle aquaponics, experiential learning, and educational tourism (eduwisata) as a community-based diffusion platform. Using an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, the intervention was implemented through field assessment, participatory training, and experiential dissemination. The findings reveal that simple, highly replicable systems significantly enhance food literacy, technical capability, and adoption intention, while eduwisata accelerates diffusion beyond initial participants. This study advances urban food security literature by bridging technological and social dimensions and offers a scalable pathway linking education, local food production, and community empowerment in resource-constrained urban environments.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of employee flourishing and Islamic human capital on employee performance, with innovative work behavior as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method involving 246 employees of Toserba Sunan Drajat across East Java. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that employee flourishing and Islamic human capital have positive and significant effects on employee performance and innovative work behavior. Innovative work behavior also shows a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, innovative work behavior significantly mediates the relationship between employee flourishing and employee performance, as well as between Islamic human capital and employee performance. This study contributes to human resource management literature by clarifying the behavioral mechanisms linking employee flourishing and value-based human capital to performance in a competitive retail context.
