Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance through the Islamic work ethic of employees at the KUD Tani Bahagia, Gondang District, Mojokerto Regency, East Java, Indonesia. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study is the employees of KUD Tani Bahagia Gondang Mojokerto, totaling 75 employees. The data analysis technique used SEM-PLS with Smart-PLS 3.0 software. The results of the study found that transformational leadership has a positive effect on employee performance. Transformational leadership has a positive effect on Islamic work ethics. Islamic work ethic has a positive effect on employee performance. Islamic work ethic mediates the positive effect of transformational leadership on employee performance. The implication of this research is the importance of implementing a transformational leadership style in order to advance the quality of employee performance in the hope of increasing work activities, increasing and developing capital factors and strong business strategies, but also having to pay attention to human resources with good Islamic work ethics and have the value of good manners.

Abstract

The fishery sector has made important economic contributions to the island nation of Indonesia. In particular, small- and medium-sized enterprise (SME) fisheries, the owners of which are mostly Muslims with high school educations, have exhibited high self-confidence and effective development. However, the effects of other factors, such as self-efficacy, islamic human capital, and financial literacy, on SME performance have yet to be discussed in detail. Thus, this quantitative study examines the effects of self-efficacy, Islamic human capital and financial literacy on 31 SMEs in Lamongan, East Java. According to the results, self-efficacy had a significant effect on SME performance, whereas both Islamic human capital and financial literacy did not have an impact on such performance.

Abstract

Alasan pertimbangan ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah jangkar karir memiliki pengaruh pada niat kewirausahaan karyawan dan apakah kepuasan kerja memainkan peran perantara dalam hubungan ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan model persamaan struktur partial least square dengan data dari 50 kuesioner yang disebarkan langsung kepada pegawai organik PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Cabang Surabaya Bukit Darmo yang terdiri dari 28 item pernyataan. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa jangkar karir berpengaruh positif terhadap niat berwirausaha dan kepuasan kerja karyawan PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Cabang Surabaya Bukit Darmo dan kepuasan kerja memediasi hubungan ini. Menariknya, penelitian ini menemukan hubungan positif antara kepuasan kerja dan niat kewirausahaan karyawan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian karyawan cukup puas dengan pekerjaannya tetapi juga memiliki niat untuk melakukan kegiatan wirausaha di masa yang akan datang. Kata Kunci : Jangkar Karir, Niat Berwirausaha, dan Kepuasan Kerja.

Abstract

The business continuity of MSME entrepreneurs is affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, especially those engaged in batik fashion, where fashion shows or exhibitions are cancelled. To support batik entrepreneurs, product and technology innovations that adapt to market conditions are needed. In order to increase sales of batik fashion in the pandemic era through digitalization, an appropriate marketing strategy is needed to increase technological literacy that has a positive impact on increasing market share.This community service activity aims to analyze and implement strategies to increase the market share of batik MSMEs through optimizing web-based digital marketing. This type of community service is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The method of data collection was carried out by survey and observation methods. The implementation of the training uses tutorial and lecture techniques. The implementation of community service is carried out in 4 stages, namely the identification of batik UMKM partner problems, formulation of partner problem solutions, providing e-commerce training in the form of e-commerce web design training and content creation, and evaluation and assistance in the form of partner understanding and satisfaction surveys. SMEs in Kampung Batik Lemahputro, Sidoarjo have implemented several forms of web-based marketing applications into their businesses, but their level of use is limited to basic marketing applications such as e-mail and static websites. However, MSMEs already have a moderate understanding of the benefits of web-based marketing and more than 50 percent of SMEs indicated that they are aware that web-based marketing can improve overall performance and profitability.

Abstract

This research was conducted on employees of conventional state owned banks in the city of Surabaya. The goals of the research to analyze the relationship beetween job stress and cyberloafing on organizational commitment. Data collection used interviews and online questionnaires. The questionnaire consisted of 26 questions and was filled in by 58 respondents. Testing instruments using validity and reliability tests. The classical assumption test used on the research which included linearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multicollinearity test, and normality test. Regression test using multiple linear regression analysis. Testing hypothesis using the t test. research results reveal that job stress has no effect on organizational commitment, but the results of cyberloafing found that there was a positive effect on organizational commitment.

Abstract

AbstractCovid-19 is a type of virus that can spread through the air. Surabaya occupies the second city in Indonesia with the largest Covid-19 distribution. Solving the Corona virus problem in Indonesia in the form of Social Distancing policy. Limitation of interaction between individuals in all fields. The problem that arises is the difficulty to meeting the needs of the community because of restrictions on activities outside. The purpose of this activity is carried out as an effort to maintain the food security of affected communities so that the community can continue to meet their basic needs. The method used is Mediation, this method is taken to support government policies through social distribution by distributing basic necessities to affected communities Covid-19. The results of the local area communication concluded that the community spent a lot of time at home, bearing in mind the basic needs that had been fulfilled by the basic food aid that had been was given. Through this food aid, it is expected to meet the needs of the community. Without having to meet difficulties in meeting basic needs in order to maintain community immunity and reduce their desire to leave the house shopping for basic needs.Keywords: Covid-19, Food Security, Affected Communities

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate and analyze the effect of servant leadership on employee performance through burnout on BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Kantor Cabang Surabaya Karimunjawa. Respondents to this study are as many as 34 enployee participated through a purposive non-probality sampling technique. Statistical analysis used in this study is Partial Least Square (PLS) with the help of smartPLS 3.0 software. The results showed that servant leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Servant leadership has a negative and significant effect on burnout and burnout had no significant effect on employee performance. Results also indicate thar burnout does not mediate the effect servant leadership on employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the impact of work-life balance on work performance mediated by psychological contract breach. This survey is a quantitive approach to 50 employees. Respondents to this survey are as many as 46 employees. The analysis used is Structural Equation Model (SEM) method on Partical Least Square (PLS) supported by smartPLS (v.3.3.7) software. The Likert Scale is used as a measurement scale. The results of the survey show that work-life balance has a significant and positive impact on work performance. In addition, psychological contract breach has an unsignificant impact on work performance, work-life balance has a significant and negative impact on psychological contract breach and psychological contract breach does not mediate a relationship among work-life balance to work performance. USP Minatani Brondong must pay attention to work-life balance and what has been promised to the workers to produce good performance for the company.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of psychological capital on employee performance through burnout on employees of PT PLN (Persero) East Java Distribution Unit. The sampling technique used a saturated sample with 40 respondents in the employees of PT PLN (Persero) East Java Distribution Unit. The results of this study explain that psychological capital has no effect on burnout. Psychological capital has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Burnout does not affect employee performance. And found the results that it is not proven that burnout has an intervening role between psychological capital on employee performance.

Abstract

The city of Surabaya is the city with the second highest number of people affected by the Covid-19 virus after DKI Jakarta. Surabaya is the center for administrative service activities, offices, services, shopping, industry and other supporting sectors. With the Covid-19 virus pandemic spreading so fast, the Surabaya City government issued regulations for working at home, studying at home, and limiting activities that led to large gatherings of people. Problems arise when the activities of schools, agencies, offices, motorcycle taxis, and some informal workers are economically affected. As well as government regulations that must be obeyed in overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic, it also needs to be understood. This community service has a target, namely increasing food security, especially in terms of meeting basic needs. The implementer understands that in terms of meeting their basic needs, they have a few problems related to how to get it due to the large-scale social restrictions (PSBB), the distribution of PKM funds as foodstuffs is carried out in order to meet the basic food needs of the people affected by Covid-19 so that it can support public welfare. The method used is data collection of students and contract workers / utsourcing affected by Covid 19 who survive in boarding houses around the UNESA Ketintang campus location and distribution of nutrition and immunity enhancing food ingredients. As a result, there were 35 packages distributed to management students and non-contract / outsourcing FE Unesa who were affected by Covid 19 to meet food needs. Recipients of basic food packages consider that the packages are very important to meet food needs and maintain body resistance so that they are not susceptible to disease
