Abstract

With technological advancements, more schools are starting to use technology, particularly in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. Teachers play an important role in utilizing technology, one of which is through game based learning methods (GBL). This method provides an enjoyable and varied learning experience with game elements such as scores, challenges, and rewards. This study explores the use of GBL in PAI at SMA Negeri 1 Imogiri using the Zep Quiz online platform. The study employs a qualitative approach with direct observation at the school as well as classroom learning practice with students. In addition, this research also uses a literature review from various relevant journals as a theoretical basis. The results of the study indicate that the use of the Zep Quiz web, which allows students to access materials and quizzes interactively, is effective in increasing learning motivation and student achievement. Through observation and classroom practice at SMA Negeri 1 Imogiri, it was found that this website also provides an evaluation feature at the end of learning that helps students understand their level of mastery of the material. Thus, the implementation of Game Based Learning (GBL) through Zep Quiz has been proven capable of creating a learning atmosphere that is more effective, engaging, and relevant to the needs of PAI learning in the digital era.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to overcome students' difficulties in learning similarity and congruence. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and the technique used is the interview technique. In this study there were researchers and three students from different schools. GeoGebra is a geometry application that can be used without internet access so that it is easy to use anywhere and this application offers a variety of interesting and simple features. The results of this study show the effectiveness of applying the GeoGebra application compared to learning without the GeoGebra application, especially in the digital era. In GeoGebra there are various displays that have been provided to help the mathematics learning process such as algebraic and graphic displays, geometry displays, number processing displays, Computer Algebra System displays, 3- dimensional graphic displays and statistical probability displays.

Abstract

Education and culture are two interrelated entities. Mathematics is an abstract field of study, making it difficult for students to understand its concepts. Culture plays a role in providing concrete objects for learning mathematics. The integration of culture https://www.fortyouncewines.com/ into mathematics is known as ethnomathematics. This study aims to explore the ethnomathematical elements in the attire of the Pontianak Sultanate and relate them to geometric concepts in mathematics education. This research is qualitative with an ethnographic approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, with Syech Arsula as the main informant. The findings indicate that various geometric elements, such as symmetry, patterns, and basic shapes, are present in the design of the Pontianak Sultanate attire. These findings can serve as a learning resource for geometry education in schools.
