Abstract

Branding is a conscious and managed effort to build a good image so that the identity and personality of a place can disappear without branding. Branding is related to trademarks, visual characteristics, logos, images, impressions, characters, and also perceptions or views from visitors about a product. The purpose of this research is to find out the stages of branding implementation and what are the obstacles faced by the Tourism Office as the manager of the Rumah Singgah Tuan Kadi. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to describe the actual situation by collecting information data obtained directly from the field. The key informants from this study were three individuals, namely the Head of the Promotion Section of the Pekanbaru City Culture and Tourism Office, supervisors of the Rumah Singgah Tuan Kadi, and visitors. This study uses data collection techniques from literature, observation, documentation and interviews. From this research it can be seen that the branding implementation stages have not been carried out optimally so that many still do not know the historical tourist attraction Rumah Singgah Tuan Kadi.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of promotions carried out by a company to introduce the products or services it has. This research was conducted in Prambanan District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method in which the researcher explains the topic of the problem and draws conclusions. Ramayana Ballet Prambanan has carried out promotions with the promotional mix used, namely advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, public relations and direct marketing. Thus, the implementation of promotions is expected to help increase sales, improve image and also increase profits for individuals and organizations. Abstract

The City Forest of Pulau Bungin has untapped tourism potential that has not been well-documented. This research aims to determine the Attractions, Amenities, Accessibility, and Ancillary aspects of the City Forest of Pulau Bungin in the village of Koto Taluk Kuantan. The study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive qualitative approach to depict and explain the existing conditions by collecting data and information in the field. In this research, data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the facilities available in the City Forest of Pulau Bungin are inadequate, with some facilities being poorly maintained due to insufficient facility management and a lack of cleanliness maintenance by the operators, such as the Traditional Sugar Mill, Toilet, Gazebo, Parking Area, Trash Bin, and Bridge. Abstract

UMKM Prototype is a concept where Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) create new products or services that are still in the experimental or early development stages. This is like creating a prototype or initial model of a physical product, but in a business context. The prototype UMKM show that the synergy between the village government, community and the private sector in encouraging the development of prototype UMKM has succeeded in improving the community's economy. The superior local products produced are not only able to meet the needs of the local market, but also have the potential to penetrate a wider market. Prototype UMKM Empowerment aims to analyze the synergy of community empowerment in building independent villages in Belantaraya Village, Gaung District, Indragiri Hilir Regency through the development of prototype UMKM based on local superior products. Innovation in the production and marketing processes of products, as well as support for organic product certification have prototype for local superior products in the Wilderness village. By creating prototype UMKM into superior products, Belantarya villages can create employment opportunities for the people of Wilderness villages, increase people's income and reduce the unemployment rate in Wilderness villages.

Abstract

According to SDGs 2030, food security must have 3 principles, namely; Availability, Affordability; and Benefits, hereinafter referred to as food security aspects. Rokan Hilir is an area with a high level of stunting. Referring to the problem formulation, the objectives of this research are: 1) to analyze and describe the effectiveness of the implementation of the Food Security Policy; 2) to analyze and describe the factors that constrain the effectiveness of implementing the Food Security Policy in Rehabilitation Efforts to Handle Stunting in Rokan Hilir. The approach taken is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis methods. The data required in this research consists of primary data and secondary data. The units of analysis in this research are people or parties who are considered to have knowledge about the implementation of food security policy innovations in dealing with stunting and also from the policy implementing apparatus, some of whom have certain positions, including staff, the community and also from NGOs which are parties involved in implementing food security policy innovations to combat stunting in Rokan Hilir. The research results show that stunting in children will have an impact on metabolic disorders, low immunity, and suboptimal physical body size. The better the coordination and communication between the parties involved in an implementation process, the less likely it is that errors will occur.

Abstract

Waste coconut fiber can be converted into a liquid organic fertilizer that is extremely beneficial to plants. The composition of organic fertilizer made from coconut fiber can aid in providing the nutrients that plants require. The purpose of community service projects is to observe how the growth of vegetable and fruit plants is affected by the availability of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) made from coconut fiber, to reduce the amount of waste generated by coconut fiber, and to teach the community how to turn waste coconut fiber into marketable products that will boost the output of UMKM. Indragiri Hilir Regency's Semambu Kuning Village is where this community service was completed. The techniques employed were counseling and demonstrations, wherein KKN students were given direct instruction on how to make POC based on coconut fiber and were also given theories about liquid organic fertilizers. The community service outcomes demonstrated two things: 1) The local village community expressed interest in converting waste coconut fiber into liquid organic fertilizer with marketable value for resale; and 2) Plant growth and development are positively impacted by the availability of this product. The conclusion of this activity is that the POC demonstration provides new ideas to the village community in utilizing coconut fiber waste that has the potential to be traded.

Abstract

Tourism in Indonesia presents immense opportunities and potential, serving as a major driver for economic development in many regions. One of the locations with significant tourism potential is Bukit Batu Tourism Village, situated in Bukit Batu Subdistrict, Bengkalis Regency. This study focuses on guest evaluations of the service quality of homestays in Bukit Batu Tourism Village. The primary objective is to assess guest satisfaction levels with the services provided by homestays in the village. The research adopts a quantitative method with a descriptive approach, collecting data through surveys of guests who stayed at homestays in the tourism village. The survey utilized a questionnaire based on dimensions of service quality, including tangibles, empathy, responsiveness, reliability, and assurance. The findings reveal that service quality plays a critical role in creating positive impressions among guests and must be continuously improved to meet their expectations. One key aspect highlighted is the importance of ensuring uniformity in service delivery across all homestays. Given that guests are highly attentive to every detail of the service, clear standardization is essential to ensure that all homestays provide consistently high-quality experiences. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the Umrah Plus package planning at PT. Musafir Tour and Travel in Pekanbaru. The main focus of this research is to identify the factors that influence tour package planning, the obstacles faced, and the efforts made to overcome them. As a company operating in the Umrah travel agency sector, PT. Musafir Tour and Travel faces the challenge of creating travel packages that are attractive, competitive and in line with consumer needs. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that the main factors influencing Umrah Plus package planning include consumer preferences for additional destinations, appropriate accommodation needs, and consumer budgets. The main obstacles faced are tight competition between travel agents and fluctuations in flight ticket prices. To overcome this obstacle, PT. Musafir Tour and Travel improves service quality and package flexibility according to consumer needs. Keywords: Package planning, Umrah plus, religious tourism, tour packages.

Abstract

Tourism can provide opportunities for people to market their products, such as small businesses such as handicrafts, leather, woven goods, cosmetics and accessories, textiles, apparel, etc. can market themselves as much as possible thanks to tourism. A tourist village is an asset based on rural potential, including all its characteristics and attractions. From the background that has been described, the author is interested in analyzing tourism potential. Therefore, the author raises the title "Community Participation in the Development of the Tanjung Balam Tourism Village, Siak Hulu District Kampar Regency Data analysis in this research completely uses descriptive writing techniques which combine stages of qualitative analysis according to the problem emphasis and research objectives. During the field data collection process, data from observations, interviews and document studies continues to be processed according to the principles of qualitative analysis. To confirm the research findings, the analysis stages for each type of data were completed collectively. Overall, the Tanjung Balam Tourism Village is able to combine natural beauty, cultural traditions, and active community involvement in building a tourist destination that is not only attractive to tourists but also has an economic, social and cultural impact on local residents. The success of developing the Tanjung Balam Tourism Village greatly influenced by the active participation of the local community, especially youth. Youth are also driving promotional activities through social media, especially Instagram, which is effective in expanding the reach of information about this tourist village. Abstract

The development of global tourism has shown rapid changes, marked by the emergence of new destinations, increasingly comprehensive facilities, and safe and comfortable transportation. One growing trend is culinary tourism, which utilizes a region's unique food or beverages as a diplomatic tool to introduce the area. Nasi Samin, a traditional dish from Indragiri Hilir Regency, stands out as a major attraction in the culinary tourism sector of Tembilahan. Nasi Samin is more than just a dish; it represents cultural heritage that reflects the long history of cultural interactions in Indonesia. By retaining traditional elements from Palembang and adapting them to local tastes, Nasi Samin has become a significant dish in the culinary traditions of Tembilahan's community. This research aims to describe Nasi Samin as a culinary tourism attraction in Indragiri Hilir Regency and illustrate its role in local economic development. A qualitative research method with a descriptive approach was employed to observe and explain the phenomenon by gathering data and information in the field. The study findings reveal that Nasi Samin is presented in four variations, including the types of food, preparation and cooking methods, and the tools used in the processing and serving. Furthermore, the research highlights the significant role of Nasi Samin as a culinary tourism attraction in Indragiri Hilir Regency. Keywords: Nasi Samin, Tourism Attraction, Culinary Tourism
