This study analyzes the implementation of ecotourism in Tanjung Belit Village, Riau, as a critical buffer zone for the Bukit Rimbang Bukit Baling Wildlife Sanctuary. Employing a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, this research explores the potential, challenges, and impacts of ecotourism on conservation and the well-being of the local community. The findings reveal that Tanjung Belit Village possesses significant natural and cultural attractions, yet the implementation of ecotourism remains constrained by limited infrastructure, lack of community participation, and suboptimal promotional strategies. Nevertheless, ecotourism has contributed to improving the local economy, raising conservation awareness, and protecting ecosystems, particularly through local wisdom practices such as Lubuk Larangan. Thematic tourism has become a trend in tourism today. This type of tourism is the answer to the needs of the community to travel, especially in areas that have limited tourist attractions. The development of thematic tourism areas can be an alternative for areas located far from famous tourist attractions, such as in Kuantan Singingi Regency. The activities carried out by tourists while at the location are a form of activity that revives tourism in this area. Thematic tourism is a type of tourism that organizes trips with a certain theme, narrative, or story so as to provide important experiences and lessons in tourism activities. This study aims to determine: 1) the variety of attractions available at Surya Fam's Tourism Park as a thematic tourist destination in Kuantan Singingi Regency; 2) the form of thematic tourism carried out at Surya Fam's Kuantan Singingi Tourism Park. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, where researchers try to describe the actual conditions and circumstances by collecting data and information in the field. Based on the results of the study, this Tourism Park provides various photo spots with a flower garden background, a swimming pool, hanging bike, flying fox and gazebo are available. In general, Surya Fam's Tourism Park is themed Attractions theme parks with the main concept of family tourism. This type of theme is strengthened by the types of attractions and tourism activities displayed.

The Sawah Koto tourist attraction in Rokan Koto Ruang Village, Rokan Hulu, offers natural attractions in the form of a wooden bridge over the rice fields and facilities such as a viewing tower, prayer room, toilets, and restaurant. However, tourist visits decreased in 2021–2023, allegedly due to suboptimal facility management. This study aims to analyze facility management and factors that influence visitor satisfaction, with a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the main facilities are still functioning well, but narrow road access and parking areas and the lack of directions reduce comfort. Supporting facilities such as restaurants and gazebos also require improved services. In general, management does not fully meet the principles of tourism management. Improvements in facilities and services are needed to increase visitor satisfaction and the sustainability of tourist attractions. Keywords: Facility management, Sawah Koto, tourism, Rokan Hulu.

Red worm farming in the Berkat Usaha Farmer Group has been in existence since 2018. Initially, red worm cultivation was carried out in a simple way, namely with shelves arranged for worm breeding. In 2019, red worm cultivation was developed using verticulture techniques in the form of worm reactors. The abundance of worms produced in this worm farming has not been optimally utilised by the Berkat Usaha Farmer Group. The purpose of this service activity is to provide training and knowledge for the Berkat Usaha Farmer Group in making processed worm derivatives cultivated with the verticulture technique in the form of a worm reactor. The method used in this service is PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) which involves community groups in training the processing of worm derivatives produced from the cultivation of the Farmer Group. The Riau University Matching Fund Team and partners provide training as well as assistance for Farmers Groups to be able to develop processed red worm derivative products into products that have high selling value. The processed worm-derived products that have been produced are worm pellets, worm flour and dried worms. All of these worm-derived processed products can be marketed, especially in the fisheries sector, because these products are needed for fish feed. The results of this service are in the form of worm derivative processing knowledge obtained by the Farmer group and processed worm derivative products that are ready to pack, ready to sell.

This study aims to identify and describe the potential tourist attractions in Sungai Petai Tourism Village, Kampar Regency. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that Sungai Petai Village possesses three categories of tourist attraction potential: natural, cultural, and man-made tourism. The most prominent natural attractions are found in dusun Kayu Jangkar, particularly the Petai and Mayor Rivers, which offer clear water, calm flows, and a pristine environment ideal for family recreation and ecotourism. Cultural potential is reflected in the community's social activities, traditional customs, and preserved local values. Meanwhile, man-made attractions are still in the early stages of development. These findings suggest that Sungai Petai Village holds significant opportunities to be developed into a community-based sustainable tourism destination, provided that improvements in infrastructure, promotion, and collaboration between the government and local community are implemented. This research focuses on developing structured family tourism packages in Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra. The study aims to create tourism packages that incorporate essential elements, including accessibility, amenities, attractions, and supporting institutions, to provide a safe, educational, and memorable experience for all family members. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, collecting data through field observations, in-depth interviews with relevant stakeholders, and document analysis of local tourism publications and records. Accessibility emerges as a key component in developing these packages, with a thorough examination of infrastructure, transportation, and access routes to tourist destinations in Tanah Datar. The findings indicate that integrated family tourism packages, which combine cultural and natural attractions while providing adequate amenities and accessibility, can be an appealing choice for family travelers. These packages not only have the potential to increase tourist arrivals but also positively impact the local economy by creating business opportunities for the surrounding community. Additionally, they serve as a medium for cultural preservation, involving families in activities that introduce Minangkabau traditions to younger generations. By designing educational and interactive tourism packages, this research contributes to efforts in preserving local culture while enhancing the welfare of the Tanah Datar community through the tourism sector. Rokan IV Koto District is one of the districts in Rokan Hulu Regency which is quite well-known because it has several tourist attractions that have the potential to become destinations, especially for the people of Rokan Hulu Regency. One of the destinations in Rokan IV Koto District is the King Rokan Palace, precisely in Koto Ruang Village. The King Rokan Palace is one of the cultural heritage tourist attractions that has great potential to be developed as a leading tourist destination in Rokan Hulu Regency. However, the Digital Promotion of this tourist attraction is still limited and ineffective, this study aims to see how the implementation of promotion through digital media is used by the management and Koto Ruang Village, in addition to aiming to find out what obstacles are faced by the management. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and literature studies and documentation using key informants and supporters as sources of data information. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of digital promotion at the King Rokan Palace Cultural Heritage tourist attraction still has a lot to be fixed, especially in the field of increasing views through social media such as Facebook and Instagram. This is evidenced by the implementation of digital promotion that does not run as it should in the management of the tourist attraction. The purpose of the service is to increase the capacity of the tourism awareness group (Pokdarwis) in carrying out the duties and functions of developing Bandar Bakau ecotourism. To carry out this activity, the method that will be used is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). The method involves more target communities actively by studying rural conditions and life and wants the community to share, improve, and analyze their knowledge of local conditions and life then make plans and then act or action. The partners or target community consisted of the Village Government, the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis), local communities and arts and culture activist groups. There are problems both from external and internal groups that have implications for less than optimal performance, namely lack of ability in institutional management and lack of ability to innovate and creatively develop existing potential. For this reason, the main activities of this service are Managerial, Technical, and Social Development as well as Innovation, Creativity, and Marketing Training. This activity went well where the response of the community and activity partners was very positive. Things that need to be followed up include providing intense mentoring and coaching efforts to Pokdarwis so that they become established and independent in carrying out their functions in developing Bandar Bakau Ecotourism
