Abstract

PT. Smevasindo Holiday Pekanbaru is one of the many travel agency companies that are engaged in organizing pilgrimage and umrah trips in the city of Pekanbaru. Many factors are taken into consideration by consumers in choosing an Umrah travel agency that is in accordance with their wishes. These factors consist of internal and external factors. Internal factors, namely culture, social, personality, psychological and external factors, namely products, prices, promotions, places. This study aims to identify what factors influence consumer decisions in the selection of umrah packages at PT. Smevasindo Holiday Pekanbaru. This research uses quantitative methods. The sampling method used in this study was purposive sampling, with the number of samples or respondents as many as 100 people obtained by using Slovin's adequacy formula. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires, observation, and documentation. This study uses a measurement technique with a Likert scale to measure attitudes, opinions, and perceptions of a person or group of people about social phenomena. The results of the study show that the price factor greatly influences consumer decisions in the selection of umrah packages at PT. Smevasindo Holiday based on consumer responses to price factors with a total score of 889 in the range of scores of 840 - 1,000 with the category strongly agree. Keywords: Consumer Decisions, Travel Bureau, Umrah Package

Abstract

The number of tourist visits in the Kasang Kulim Zoo increased from year to year but not too significant. Given the opportunity Kasang Kulim Zoo this is the only Zoo in Riau province, the purpose of this study to determine the attractiveness of Kasang Kulim Zoo and to know the management effort in managing the attraction of Kasang kulim Zoo. This research was done in Kasang Kulim Zoo Kampar District. This research uses qualitative methode with descriptive approach by collecting data and information field and explain in the form of description without testing hypothesis or make prediction. Analysis data technic obtained by field observation, interview and literature study in though or in the analysis to achieve the ultimate goal. Based on the research results of existing tourist attraction in the Kasang kulim Zoo are in the category of "good". The better the tourist attraction that ad at Kasang Kulim Zoo then the more the number of tourist visits.Keywords: Tourist attraction, Management, Zoo

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the planning of community association in mangrove ecotourism area Teluk Pambang Village Bantan Subdistrict; (2) the community’s responsibility Teluk Pambang Village toward the development of mangrove tour in Teluk Pambang Village Bantan Subdistric. This study used a qualitative method in form of descriptive approach, some informant were taking as the subject of research and additional informant. The result of the research showed that the involvement of Teluk Pambang Villagers in protecting, developing and maintaining this mangrove ecotourism was in active. Only a few of them were participating. Their attendance, business iniciative and their business purpose in this area was still limited because of their own jobs at home. Mean while, the management position in organizing and playing role was done well as well as the number of mangrove object managed. Although, illegal logging was the main problem that caused obstade in maintenance and evaluation. At last, people see mangrove ecotourism in Teluk Pambang as a potential way to lift up their economic growth.Keywords: Ecotourism, Mangrove, Community Based.

Abstract

 Tourism object Pulau Cinta is one of the attractions in Kampar Regency and is worth to developing. The reason researchers chose this attraction is because the number of visits continues to increase every year. Based on the increase in visits, it is necessary to segment or group visitors according to needs, characteristics and the same relationship. Can be adapted to existing market segments. This study tries to describe the segmentation of visitors on Pulau Cinta, Teluk Jering, Kampar Regency. Segmentation used is geographical segmentation, demographic segmentation, and psychographic segmentation. The method used by the author is a quantitative descriptive method with a sample of 100 respondents. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires or questionnaires. The results of the study of visitors who came to Pulau Cinta Teluk Jering were 92% received from Riau Province, 82% were received from outside Kampar Regency which came from Pekanbaru City community. The majority of visitors are women and are unmarried. With the age of around 15-25 years who dominate students with an average income of under 1 million. Large family visitors who have a core population of 5 people with an average monthly 1,000,000-2,000,000. Some facilities are used such as parking lots, photo spots, eating places, mosques, and others. Activities of visitors taking pictures and going around the tourist area. 65% of them visit friends and colleagues with a refreshing purpose. They know information through social media and 61% visit using motorbikes and through bad roads. Entrance rates are cheap and will be sent to Pulau Cinta Teluk Jering to visit. Keywords: Segmentation, Visitors, Teluk Jering.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan Kuliah Kerja Nyata mahasiswa menjadi salah satu strategi untuk mengangkat potensi suatu daerah dari aspek budaya, pariwisata, sosial ekonomi. Setiap daerah memiliki ciri khas masing-masing, sehingga diperlukan manajemen inovasi tata kelola tepat guna dan tepat sasaran untuk dikembangkan di daerah tersebut, seperti di Desa Koto Sentajo, Kecamatan Sentajo Raya, Kabupaten Taluk Kuantan, Riau. Salah satu caranya dengan mengadakan program peningkatan pengelolaan sumber daya alam. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memberi pelatihan bagi masyarakat Koto Sentajo untuk memahami dan menjalankan perilaku hidup sehat. Secara manajerial perlu kerjasama dan pengawasan untuk menanamkan kesadaran dan merubah kebiasaan warga desa meuju hidup sehat dan bersih. Agar pelaksanaan berjalan baik, perlu diwujudkan fasilitas kamar mandi-cuci kakus (MCK) dengan instalasi pengolahan air limbah (IPAL). Hidup sehat dan bersih dengan sarana MCK dan IPAL diharapkan berdampak pada meningkatnya kunjungan wisatawan ke Koto Sentajo dan meningkatnya kesasaran warga desa terhadap arti penting hidup sehat dan bersi.

Abstract

Data menunjukkan bahwa sebagian masyarakat Indonesia yang tinggal di sekitar Daerah Aliran Sungai masih dalam kondisi miskin, disisi lain jumlah penduduk semakin bertambah sehingga mengakibatkan pada peningkatan lahan kritis. Kondisi Daerah Aliran Sungai yang rawan erosi, banjir ketika musim hujan dan kelangkaan air waktu musim kemarau sangat berpengaruh terhadap mata pencaharian warga yang tinggal disekitarnya sehingga secara tidak langsung berpengaruh juga terhadap kesejahteraan. Kesejahteraan dapat terwujud apabila terjadi kerja sama, solidaritas serta aksi kolektif di tengah masyarakat yang disebut dengan modal sosial. Penelitian ini mengkaji besarnya pengaruh modal sosial terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat daerah aliran sungai di Desa Buluh Cina.Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan uji statistik path analysis.Teknik penarikan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 28 KK dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 56 orang yang terdiri dari suami dan istri.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modal sosial berpengaruh terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat daerah aliran sungai di Desa Buluh Cina sebesar 53,5%. Artinya adalah modal sosial yang terdiri dari partisipasi, resiprocity, trust, norma sosial, nilai-nilai, dan tindakan yang proaktif berkontribusi positif terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat yang terukur dari indeks tingkat kepuasan hidup subjektif untuk masing-masing individu.

Abstract

Koto Sentajo Village is a traditional village that maintains traditions so that it has a tourist attraction. This village has a lot of potential, but still has problems to be an independent village. In this case, this service activity aims to provide the ability to manage agarwood plants to improve the community's economy as the village's superior product. This service activity is targeted at BUMDes managers, farmer groups and PKK women. This service method uses a Community Based Tourism (CBT) approach. The implementation of service activities is carried out by starting with community socio-economic mapping, holding FGDs, and providing training. Service activities found that there was a lot of potential on the one hand, but on the other hand there were still problems with the community's economy. The FGD was held to discuss the problems that exist in Koto Sentajo Village. This FGD activity contributes to increasing community understanding of the importance of developing gaharu plants, because this village has a large forest area and land as a provider of raw materials. The training focused on the manufacture, packaging and marketing of gaharu tea as the village's flagship product. This training has a positive impact on the community, however, it is still constrained by licensing issues to be developed in a larger and wider production scale.

Abstract

Siak District has a good tourism potential, with the culture and history of the Siak Sri Indrapura Kingdom included in it. The Siak Sri Indrapura Kingdom’s heritage is very fascinating because it’s not only a great site to be a destination, but also a valuable place to research. Coupled with artificial tourism made by the Regional Government of Siak Regency, which make it an additional value for Siak District Tourism. Therefore, this research was conducted to determine its tourist destinations alongside their attractions, amenities, accessibility and ancillary in Siak District. This study also aims to plan a travel pattern and recommend it. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. While the data collection techniques in this study used literature study, observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study will bring out into the open about tourist destinations and their attractiveness, accessibility, amenities and ancillary in Siak District, as well as designing the travel patterns in Siak District. Keywords: Tourism, Travel Patterns, Siak District, Siak Sri Indrapura

Abstract

Tour Leader is the most important role in a Travel Agency. Tour Leader has a responsibility to supervise the tour from the first departure till the end of the trip. This research aims to find out more about the implementation of the responsibilities of a tour leader. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to describe the real situation by collecting information data from the field. The key informants from this research are 1 financial division staff who also serves as one of the tour leaders, and also 2 other tour leaders. The data collection methods used in this research are observation, interviews, documentation and also documentation studies. Based on the results of the research, it can be infered that the tour leader at PT. Aisyah Perdana Tour And Travel has done a good job. Tour leaders have to understand the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) that have been established and also carry out the process of carrying out these responsibilities properly. Keywords: Implementation, responsibility, Tour Leader.

Abstract

Richeese Factory Pekanbaru is a fast food restaurant founded by PT. Indonesian Culinary PT. Culinary Indonesia is one of the subsidiaries of the Nabati Group. Richeese Factory is a restaurant that provides self service by customers and also a restaurant that prioritizes excellent service for customer satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of kitchen employees at the Crew Outlet Richeese Factory Pekanbaru. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach to identify the problems that exist in the Richeese Factory Pekanbaru. Respondents in this study amounted to 5 people, while the data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the Kitchen Employee Performance at the Crew Outlet Department of Richeese Factory Pekanbaru was not good. In the implementation of Kitchen Employee Performance, there is a lack of employee discipline and employee understanding of the work instructions at Richeese Factory Pekanbaru.  Keywords: Performance, Employees, Kitchen, Restaurant
