Abstract

Abstract

West Kalimantan Province experienced a decrease in the harvested area and productivity of corn with an area of 16,371.14 in 2022 with a productivity of 43.81 and a production of 71,717.14 tons. While in 2023 with an area of 15,625.22 with a productivity of 43.54 and a production of 68,028.76 tons. The decline in corn production and the increasing consumption needs every year are challenges for the government and corn farming businesses to answer and meet the availability of corn. Regarding this problem, it is necessary to manage corn plantation land, in order to increase the value of corn production to meet consumption and animal feed needs in West Kalimantan. Measuring pH, temperature and soil moisture is very important to understand the right soil conditions for various types of plants. This study uses a DS18B20 sensor to measure soil temperature, capaltive soil moisture to measure air content in the soil, and a pH sensor to determine the acidity level. The ESP32 microcontroller is used as the main controller connected to the third sensor with IoT technology and the PID method as a control system. The PID constant value was determined using the Ziegler-Nichols method, with a Kp value of 4.31, Ki 0.85, and Kd 4.33 with a setpoint of ph 6.0, a temperature of 26°C and a humidity of 70%. The results showed that the pH value was in the range of 3.03-3.45, falling into the acidic category. Furthermore, the temperature value was at 24.69-28.66, falling into the medium to high category. While the humidity value was between 43-80, falling into the low to high category. The test results showed that the system was able to measure temperature, humidity, and soil pH in real-time with a good level of accuracy. This is supported by the accuracy value of the soil pH sensor of 60.6%, the temperature sensor of 98.65%, and the soil moisture sensor of 98.57%. The accuracy value is obtained from 100% minus the average error value for each measurement.

Abstract

Background: The number of patient visits to the Emergency Room (ER) has increased by around 30%. Based on statistical data from NHS England (2018) in the United Kingdom (2018), the number of patient visits to the ER is estimated to be more than 23,7 million. In 2019, the number of patients treated in the ER in Korea was 10.609.107, while in Indonesia the number of visits to the ER was 4,402,205 patients (13,3%). In DKI Jakarta in 2022 the number of emergency room visits will be 72%. The emergency room must be able to provide fast and appropriate assistance for patient safety, namely by providing a response time of ≤ 5 minutes. One of the determining indicators of patient satisfaction and the quality of health services in the emergency department is response time. Purpose: Knowing the relationship between emergency unit service response time and patient satisfaction levels. Methods: Analytical with cross sectional design. The sample in this study was a portion of the emergency room patients at Specialized Hospital Duren Sawit, East Jakarta in December 2023, totaling 75 people. The sampling technique uses Random Sampling. Results: Frequency distribution of emergency room patient satisfaction, most respondents said they were satisfied (69,3%) and the response time for emergency department services was mostly fast (52,0%). There is a relationship between the response time of emergency department services and the level of patient satisfaction (p value 0,000). Conclusion: There is a relationship between the response time of emergency department services and the level of patient satisfaction. It is hoped that health workers on duty in the emergency room can improve services in accordance with hospital standards to increase patient satisfaction.

Abstract

DM with ulcer can result in a decrease in the quality of life of patients and need to reduce the intensity of pain and odor on the ulcer, preventing amputation and Hyperbaric Oxygen as an adjuvant therapy in accelerating wound healing. This study aims to explain the effect of HBO on the quality of life of patients with diabetic foot ulcers at RSAL Dr. Ramelan Surabaya. Methods: The research used quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design approach. The samples were 70 patients from population of all diabetes patients who suffered from diabetic foot ulcers at RSAL Dr. Ramelan. Data were collected by WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire. Analyzed byWilcoxon signed rank test and Mann Whitney U test. Result: Mann Whitney in the post test, the physical p-value domain (0.000), psychological domain (0.012), social domain (0.003), and environmental domain (0,001), where the intervention group has a better value than the control group. Wilcoxon signed rank test results on the physical domain (0,000), psychological (0,012), social (0,003), and environmental (0,001), meaning there were significant differences between pre post test in intervention group. Discussion: Diabetes mellitus patients with foot ulcers given hyperbaric oxygen showed improvement on wound condition, thus reducing pain and medical needs. This makes patients motivated, reduce anxiety, and improve interpersonal support and confidence. Therefore, it is necessary to socialize the effect of HBO on DM patients with foot ulcer, as a treatment option in improving the quality of life of DM patients with foot ulcers.

Abstract

Computerized employee attendance data collection provides convenience in terms of real-time monitoring. The computerized attendance data collection process has been widely implemented by government and private agencies. With a computerized system, the data collection process is easier to carry out. The data that has been collected increases as time passes. To improve discipline in employee attendance patterns. Perumdam Tirta Bengkayang implements an attendance application with features consisting of working hours, shifts, attendance location and is equipped with documentation of incoming and outgoing absences in the form of selfies attached to the application. The data that has been collected is then analyzed to assess employee discipline levels using data mining techniques, namely the K-Means method. Data mining methods are used to group employee attendance data patterns. Data mining is the process of collecting data, and finding patterns or relationships between data. The K-Means method works by dividing data into k closest clusters. The calculation begins by determining the value of k, centroid, and closest point. Meanwhile, the analysis uses the Python library by importing the necessary libraries such as numpy, pandas, matplotlib, sklearn. Based on the results of the analysis and grouping of employees, 26.76% of employees fall into cluster 0, namely the low level of discipline, 71.83% of employees fall into cluster 1, namely the medium level of discipline, and 1.41% of employees fall into cluster 2, namely the high level of discipline.
