Abstract

Abstract The human hand is one of the most frequently used parts of the body's anatomy. For some jobs, hands are valuable assets. The good and bad performance of human hands is heavily influenced by the good control and coordination of thenerves and muscles. Unfortunately, not all humans are blessed with healthy hands. Various things ranging from diseases such as strokes, paralysis, to the results of amputations due to disease also cause human hands to lose their main function or even totally unusable. This research aims to make an artificial arm that can be controlled based on EMG signals for people with disabilities. EMG signal readings are done by attaching electrodesto specific points of the pronatorteres muscle in the forearm area. The results of the obtained muscle activity will be captured in the form of an EMG signal to then be processed until it reaches a certain reading frequency range for the captured signal. After reading, the signals will then extract characteristics that are used as parameters to conclude the movement obtained using the K Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm in MATLAB and then continued by serial communication with the microcontroller to move the prosthetic arm. Through this research, the writer obtained 76.7% accuracy on the value of K = 3 based on the results of KNN training with Classification Learner in MATLAB. However, through predictions with the new test data the writer could only get 50% accuracy. This can be caused by various things such as the hidden muscle location, the area of muscle detection, and the measurement for Euclidian Distance on KNN in MATLAB which also carried out evenly against fellow training data.Keywords : nervous system, signal, EMG, prosthetic arm, serial communication, disabilities, KNN, Euclidian Distance.

Abstract

Abstrak Lengan robot terdiri dari sistem mekanik dan sistem kendali lengan robot. Sistem mekanik berfungsi sebagai wadah sistem penggerak pada lengan robot. Istilah lain sistem penggerak disebut dengan derajat kebebasan atau Degree Of Freedom (DOF) atau sering diartikan dengan joint. Lalu pada bagian sistem kendali lengan robot salah satu nya dapat menggunakan metode pengolahan citra menggunakan sensor Kinect. Sensor Kinect adalah teknologi perangkat lunak yang dapat mendeteksi sendi tubuh manusia dan melacak pergerakan nya. Pada sistem kendali lengan robot menggunakan sensor Kinect, perintah untuk menggerakkan lengan robot menjadi lebih mudah, cepat, dan tidak banyak komponen yang digunakan. Pada tugas akhir ini fokus di bagian sistem mekanik dan penggerak lengan robot, untuk sistem kendali berbasis sensor Kinect. Lengan robot dirancang menggunakan microcontroller Arduino Mega 2560 dan aktuator berupa empat motor servo yang dipasang pada joint base, shoulder, elbow, dan gripper. Hasil pada tugas akhir ini didapat pada keempat joint lengan robot base, shoulder, elbow, dan gripper masing-masing memiliki error akurasi sudut 33.6°, 4.8°, 4.3°, dan 0°. Lengan robot dapat bergerak mengikuti gerakan lengan manusia secara real time dengan memakan waktu rata-rata sebesar 402.37 milidetik pada delapan gerakan lengan yang telah diperagakan. Kata Kunci: lengan robot, 4 derajat kebebasan, sistem kendali berbasis sensor Kinect, Kinect Abstract The robot arm consists of a mechanical system and a robot arm control system. The mechanical system functions as a container for the motion system in the robot arm. Another term for a system of motion is called the Degree Of Freedom (DOF) or often interpreted as a joint. Then in the robot arm control system, one of which can use the image processing method using the Kinect sensor. Kinect sensor is a software technology that can detect the joints of the human body and track their movements. In a robot arm control system using a Kinect sensor, the command to move the robot arm becomes easier, faster, and uses less components. In this final project, the focus is on the mechanical system and the movement of the robot arm, for the Kinect sensor-based control system. The robot arm is designed using an Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller and an actuator in the form of four servo motors mounted on the joint base, shoulder, elbow, and gripper. The results in this final project are obtained that the four joint robot arms base, shoulder, elbow, and gripper each have angle accuracy errors of 33.6°, 4.8°, 4.3°, and 0°. The robotic arm can move to follow the human arm movement in real time by taking an average of 402.37 milliseconds on the eight arm movements that have been demonstrated. Abstract

Abstrak: Sekolah Alam Gaharu adalah sekolah alam yang baru didirikan pada tahun 2011 yang terletak di Kabupaten Bandung, Jawa Barat. Konsep sekolah alam disini memberikan kebebasan siswa belajar dari pengalaman hasil obsevasi mereka dengan alam. Akan tetapi, proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan tidak fleksibel. Sehingga saat masa COVID-19, proses pembelajaran menjadi terganggu karena larangan untuk kegiatan langsung tatap muka dan tidak ada media yang digunakan sebagai pengganti proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan Learning Management System (LMS) kepada guru sekolah alam gaharu ini dilakukan untuk mendukung konsep pembelajaran tersebut. LMS ini diharapkan membantu siswa sekolah alam Gaharu belajar dimana saja. Selain itu, para guru dapat mengoptimalkan pembelajaran dengan keleluasaan pemberian materi kepada siswanya. Dipelatihan ini diajarkan penggunaan Google Classroom. Selain itu, pelatihan ini menggunakan metode community development yang mana pelatihan ini mengembangkan dan memperbaiki proses pembelajaran yang sudah diterapkan dengan memberikan langkah-langkah penyusunan materi pada LMS, sehingga dapat digunakan untuk mendukung pembelajaran yang sudah terbentuk menjadi lebih baik. Hasil yang diharapkan pada pelatihan ini adalah Sekolah Alam Gaharu memiliki pilihan terkait dengan proses pembelajaran, memberikan tambahan media pembelajaran, dan media kreativitas guru Sekolah Alam Gaharu. Berdasarkan hasil dari pelatihan yang diberikan, respon peserta terhadap pelatihan yang diberikan memperoleh hasil lebih dari 90% peserta sangat puas dengan pelatihan yang dilaksanakan and 85,7% peserta berminat mengimplementasikan LMS Google Classroom dalam proses pembelajaran.Abstract: Sekolah Alam Gaharu is a nature school that was founded in 2011 and located in Bandung Regency, West Java. The concept of the natural school here gives students the freedom to learn from their observing experiences with nature. However, the learning process is not flexible. Thus, the learning process, during the COVID-19 period, was disrupted because of the ban on face-to-face activities, and no media was used as a substitute for the learning process. Therefore, the Learning Management System (LMS) training for Sekolah Alam Gaharu teachers was carried out to support this learning concept. The LMS is expected to help Sekolah Alam Gaharu students learn anywhere. In addition, teachers can optimize learning with the flexibility to provide material to their students. This training teaches to use Google Classroom. Moreover, this training uses community development which this training develops and improves the implemented learning process by providing the learning material forming schemes on LMS so that it can be used to support the learning process for the better. The expected result of this training is Sekolah Alam Gaharu has the option regarding the learning process, the learning media addition, and creativity media for Sekolah Alam Gaharu’s teacher. Based on the result of the training, the participant’s response obtains more than 90% of participants were delighted with the training carried out and 85.7% of participants want to implement LMS Google Classroom in the learning process.

Abstract

Analysis of heart sound signals for automatic segmentation and classification has revealed in recent decades that it has the potential to detect pathology accurately in clinical applications. Various audio signal processing techniques have been used to reduce the subjectivity of heart sound analysis. This study aims to classify normal and abnormal heart sound signals. The feature extraction process was optimized by EMD and calculated using five first-order statistical parameters: mean, variance, kurtosis, skewness, and entropy. The classification system is optimized with a mutual information algorithm to select traits that can significantly improve system performance. In addition, the selection of the optimal system configuration also includes the k-fold cross-validation and kNN methods with k values ​​and the proper distance type. Based on the test results, the highest accuracy of 98.2% was obtained when the value of k = 1 and the type of cosine distance on kNN with a five-fold cross-validation system evaluation model.

Abstract

Bullying is an unpleasant behavior carried out by an individual or a group of people against another person or group. This behavior is carried out both verbally and physically which can make a person feel uncomfortable and pressured. Bullying often occurs at the elementary school (SD) level. This happens because the elementary school age level does not understand the meaning of bullying and its legal consequences. Therefore, in this community service, counseling was carried out for Al Mabrur Elementary School students to provide an understanding of bullying. Counseling was carried out through various activities, such as playing videos, presenting material, coloring, games, and handing out anti-bullying pocket books. The counseling activity was attended by 30 students from SD Al Mabrur and other school employees. Based on the results of the questionnaire given to the participants after the counseling was finished, it was found that the participants had understood the meaning of bullying and its forms.

Abstract

Abstrak: Sebagai critical engine Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) telah menjadi salah satu pendorong peningkatan ekonomi negara. Namun ditengah meningkatnya industri UMKM masih banyak dari pelaku yang belum paham akan pentingnya melakukan pencatatan laporan keuangan yang sesuai dengan standar akuntansi keuangan bagi entitas mikro, kecil, dan menengah. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengenalkan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan bagi Entitas Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (SAK EMKM), mengenalkan aplikasi pencatatan laporan keuangan, menyusun laporan keuangan berdasar SAK EMKM, serta melakukan diskusi dan tanya jawab permasalahan yang dihadapi para peserta sosialisasi. Sosialisasi ini dilakukan pada pelaku UMKM di Kawasan Desa Wisata Laksana, Jawa Barat dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 16 orang dengan metode sosialisasi dan pelatihan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi melalui kuesioner, sosialisasi ini telah meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta dan 68.75% peserta merasa pengetahuanya sangat bertambah.Abstract: As a critical engine, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have become one of the drivers of improving the country's economy. However, amidst the increase in the MSME industry, many MSME owners still need to understand the importance of recording financial reports by financial accounting standards for micro, small, and medium entities. This community service aims to introduce Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM), introducing applications for recording financial reports, compile financial statements based on SAK EMKM, and hold discussions and questions and answers. This socialization was carried out for MSMEs in the Laksana Tourism Village Area, West Java, with 16 participants using the socialization and training method. Based on the evaluation results, this socialization has increased participants' knowledge, and participants were satisfied with this activity.

Abstract

Lung sound is one indicator of abnormalities in the lungs and respiratory tract. Research for automatic lung sound classification has become one of the interests for researchers because lung disease is one of the diseases with the most sufferers in the world. The use of lung sounds as a source of information because of the ease in data acquisition and auscultation is a standard method in examining pulmonary function. This study simulated the potential use of Higuchi fractal dimension (HFD) as a feature extraction method for lung sound classification. HFD calculations were run on a series of k values to generate some HFD values as features. According to the simulation results, the proposed method could produce an accuracy of up to 97.98% for five classes of lung sound data. The results also suggested that the shift in HFD values over the selection of a time interval k can be used for lung sound classification.

Abstract

Each radiology or X-ray device is required to perform a functional or performance test of an X-ray aircraft in accordance with the radiation safety standards of the International Nuclear Energy Agency (IAEA). The suitability test has several parameters and parts. In the X-ray Aircraft Suitability Test, there are X-ray beam collimation tests, X-ray generators and tubes, and AEC. However, the illumination and collimation test still uses the manual method. The purpose of this research is to develop the simplest method, which is to measure the illumination at four points simultaneously and store the measurement data directly. This module is designed to use the HC-SR04 sensor as a distance meter and the TSL2561 sensor as a light meter. This module is designed using the HC-SR04 sensor as a distance meter and TSL2561 sensor as a lux meter. In this research, the module has been tested and compared with the results of a comparison tool (Digital Light Meter) and got an error value of 1.55% with a module efficiency of 98.45% in the illumination test, and an error of 1.8% with a module efficiency of 98.2% in the collimator test. From this research, it can be concluded that the light sensor TSL2561 can be used to measure the illumination area of ​​the collimator lamp. The contribution of this research is expected to be more efficient tool testing, and the data will be saved until the next testing time

Abstract

Abstrak: Di sekolah alam process pembelajaran mengedepankan interaksi dengan alam. Terkadang sekolah alam memiliki beberapa fasilitas sebagai media pembelajaran yang berhubungan dengan alam seperti kolam. Tidak terkecuali di Sekolah Alam Gaharu sebagai mitra di pengambdian masyarakat ini. Sekolah Alam Gaharu yang memiliki beberapa kolam ikan yang digunakan untuk fasilitas observasi alam. Untuk mempermudah fasilitas tersebut digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran, Sekolah Alam Gaharu membutuhkan satu sistem pemantauan semua kolam dan media belajar. Oleh karena itu, untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut, dikembangkan satu sistem pemantauan kolam ikan dibeberapa titik untuk parameter keasaman dan temperature air kolam yang terintegrasi oleh satu sistem IoT. Sistem yang diterapkan sebagai solusi di Sekolah Alam Gaharu adalah dua sensor node yang digunakan untuk mengakuisisi data PH dan temperatur dan satu sistem gateway sebagai sistem integrasi kedalam satu sistem IoT. Kemudia semua parameter PH dan temperatur kolam dapat dipantau di aplikasi android. Untuk mengetahui apakah sistem berjalan sesuai kebutuhan Sekolah Alam Gaharu, dilakukan survei umpan balik ke guru sekolah tersebut. Dari Umpan balik yang dilakukan ke lima belas guru, didapatkan respon bahwa seluruh guru sangat setuju bahwa semua komponen sistem yang telah diimplementasikan sangat membantu dalam process pembelajaran. Seluruh responden menyatakan sangat setuju 100% bahwa sistem mampu membantu process pembelajaran di Sekolah Alam Gaharu. Abstract: In natural schools, the learning process emphasizes interaction with nature. Sometimes natural schools have several facilities as learning media related to nature, such as ponds. Gaharu Natural School is no exception as a partner in this community service. Gaharu Nature School has several fish ponds used as natural observation facilities. Gaharu Natural School requires a monitoring system for all ponds and learning media to make it easier for these facilities to be used as learning media. Therefore, to meet these needs, a fish pond monitoring system has been developed at several points for the parameters of acidity and pond water temperature, which are integrated by an IoT system. The system implemented as a solution at the Gaharu Natural School is two sensor nodes used to acquire PH and temperature data and a gateway system as an integration system into an IoT system. Then all PH and pool temperature parameters can be monitored in the Android application. A feedback survey was conducted on the school's teachers to determine whether the system is running according to the needs of the Gaharu Natural School. From the feedback provided to the fifteen teachers, the responses were obtained that all teachers strongly agreed that all the components of the system that had been implemented were very helpful in the learning process. All respondents strongly agreed 100% that the system could assist the learning process at Gaharu Natural School.

Abstract

Every persons have their own unique way of walking which is called gait. Gait can be used to identify a person. Gyroscope is a sensor used to detect vibration and measure acceleration based on direction or orientation. This paper presents an individual recognition based on gait using gyroscope sensor embedded in smartphone. The gait data is processed and analyzed by implementing Linear Predictive Coding (LPC) and k-Nearest Neighbour (k-NN). LPC is used to extract features from gait data. It produces feature vector based on combination of p-previous signal and takes only important value of the feature data. Then, k-NN is used for classification, using some calculation methods such as Euclidean, Cityblock, Cosine, and Correlation distance. The gait signals contain x,y,z axis and the signal magnitude. In this paper x,y,z axis and the signal magnitude are also combined to improve the accuracy. The highest accuracy of 99.58% is achieved using signal combination x-y-z-m. Overall, this person detection system produces accuracy between 50% to 99.58%.
