Abstract

The Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat, traditionally used for cancer treatment, including breast cancer, possesses anticancer properties. The aim of this study is metabolite profiling using ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography in conjunction with the high-resolution mass spectrometry (UHPLC-HRMS) technique and its correlation with the cytotoxic activity of the extract and ethyl acetate fraction of Chrysanthemum x morifolium (Ramat.) Hemsl leaves on cancer cells. The ethyl acetate fraction from the hydrolyzed ethanol extract of (Chrysanthemum x morifolium (Ramat.) Hemsl) leaves has anticancer activity against the MCF-7 breast cancer cells. Metabolite profiling was used to understand the presence of metabolites that have anticancer activity. UHPLC-HRMS was used to profile their metabolites. Compound Discoverer 3.3 software finished data processing and metabolite annotation. Anticancer activity was performed using the 2-[2-methoxy-4-nitrophenyl]-3[4-nitrophenyl]-5[2,4-disulfophenyl]-2H-tetrazolium (WST-8) assay. As many as 57 secondary metabolites were identified by UHPLC-HRMS analysis. Secondary metabolites that have the potential as anti-breast cancer are glycitein, diosmetin, kaempferol, esculetin, scopoletin, dihydroartemisinin, and Chrysin, with successive percentages of 31.39%, 19.91%, 5.61%, 2.63%, 0.82%, 0.14%, and 0.05%. Ethyl acetate fraction showed stronger cytotoxic activity than ethanol extract against MCF-7 cells with IC50 values of 66.31 ppm at 24 hours incubation and 40.35 ppm at 48 hours. Further research can be conducted on the isolation of flavonoids from the ethyl acetate fraction, as well as the analysis of cell cycle apoptosis stimulation and gene expression mechanisms.

Abstract

Objective: The objective of the study is to analyze the factors that shape tourists' environmentally responsible behavior. The proposed research model integrates norm activation theory, stakeholder theory, and a utilitarian perspective. From the norm activation theory perspective, two variables, namely awareness of consequences and ascribed responsibility, are included in the model as antecedents of personal norms. Destination social responsibility, as a stakeholder effort to promote environmental protection, can strengthen the influence of personal norms on environmentally responsible behavior. Furthermore, the utilitarian perspective in the form of perceived value, which is the benefit that tourists obtain from traveling to a destination, is also a moderating influence of personal norms on environmentally responsible behavior. Methodology: This study involved 255 respondents who had visited Yogyakarta. Data were processed using Smart-PLS to determine the relationships between variables. Finding: The results show that awareness of consequences and ascribed responsibility are factors in forming personal norms. Personal norms have a positive influence on environmentally responsible behavior. Furthermore, the data supported the role of perceived value as a moderator. However, destination social responsibility does not moderate the influence of personal norms on environmentally responsible behavior. Conclusion: The study concludes that the norms activation theory holds that personal norms are antecedents to environmentally responsible behavior. Personal norms’s influence on environmentally responsible behavior is strengthened by perceived value.

Abstract

Mother's participation in posyandu is one of the efforts to monitor the nutritional status of children under five. However, there are still mothers who do not use health facilities for their toddlers. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of participation of mothers in Posyandu and the nutritional status of children under five. The research method with retrospective cohort approach. The population in this study were 422 mothers with a study sample of 215 mothers. Random sampling technique. The Instrument of Nutritional Status of Children Based on Index was used in this study. Univariate and bivariate analysis of Kendall's tau_b is the analysis of the data used. The results of this study showed that the participation of active mothers to posyandu amounted to 172 people (80%) and inactive as many as 23 people (13%). The nutritional status of toddlers in Sindangkasih Village is mostly in the category of nutritional status at risk of nutrition of more than 129 toddlers (60%), good nutrition of 38 toddlers (17.7%), poor nutrition of 38 toddlers (17.7%), malnutrition of 7 toddlers (3%), nutrition of more than 2 toddlers (0.9%), and obesity of 1 toddler (0.5%). There was no relationship between maternal participation rates and the nutritional status of toddlers and gis. 0.310 > 0.05. The conclusion of the study was that there was no relationship between maternal participation and the nutritional status of toddlers with p = 0.310 > 0.05. This can be caused by a lack of knowledge and attitudes of mothers towards the nutritional status of toddlers. Community Health Centers can conduct outreach and counseling to cadres and mothers who use health services to detect nutritional problems, including malnutrition, as early as possible.

Abstract

Halal tourism represents a rapidly expanding niche within the global tourism industry, driven by the growing demand for services aligned with Sharia principles. However, ensuring its long-term sustainability remains a critical challenge, particularly from the supply-side perspective. Grounded in integrated theoretical and conceptual frameworks, this study examines how attitudes and perceived risks associated with halal tourism influence product design and business continuity. It further explores how external support such as that provided by government agencies and other stakeholders acts as a moderating variable that strengthens the relationship between supply-side factors (attitudes and perceived risks) and the sustainability of halal tourism enterprises. This study investigates the effects of service providers’ attitudes and perceived risks on product design and business sustainability, while also assessing the moderating role of external support. Employing a quantitative approach with purposive non-probability sampling, data were collected from 310 halal tourism entrepreneurs in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The relationships among variables were analysed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS). Entrepreneurs’ attitudes toward halal tourism exert a significant influence on product design; however, such attitudes alone are insufficient to ensure long-term business survival. Although perceived risk does not hinder the product design process, it poses a substantial threat to business sustainability. External support has been shown to strengthen the impact of positive attitudes on both product design and business continuity, yet it remains less effective in mitigating the adverse effects of perceived risk. This study contributes theoretically to the growing body of supply-side tourism literature and provides strategic insights for policymakers and halal tourism stakeholders seeking to enhance the competitive advantage and sustainable development of halal tourism destinations.

Abstract

Objective: To determine the factors influencing bond strength between acrylic tooth elements and thermoplastic nylon denture bases. Methods: A systematic literature review was conducted using the PRISMA framework. An electronic search was conducted in Semantic Scholar, Google Scholar, Crossref, and Scopus for studies published between 2015 and 2025. Keywords included “thermoplastic nylon,” “polyamide denture base,” “acrylic denture,” and “bond strength.” In vitro experimental studies examining bond strength at the tooth-base interface were included. After screening 185 identified records, 18 studies met eligibility criteria and were included in the qualitative synthesis. Results: Four primary factors influence bond strength: (1) the role of surface treatment in enhancing bond strength, (2) material composition and brand variation, (3) processing and repair techniques, and (4) denture design. Mechanical surface treatments, specifically, aluminum oxide sandblasting and macro-retentive preparation, consistently improved shear and tensile bond strength. Significant variability was observed between nylon brands, with some materials demonstrating superior bond performance. Reinjection techniques and microwave polymerization improved interfacial integrity compared to manual heating or conventional repair methods. Conversely, some modified materials, such as nanoparticle incorporation, negatively impacted mechanical stability. Conclusion: The bond strength between acrylic dentures and thermoplastic nylon bases is largely governed by mechanical retention rather than chemical adhesion. Optimal bonding requires integrated consideration of material selection, standardized surface treatments, and controlled maintenance techniques. Further standardized and long-term studies are needed to establish evidence-based clinical guidelines.
