Abstract

Meta-analysis is a statistical method for combining quantitative results from several studies to produce an overall summary or empirical knowledge on a particular topic. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the use of teaching materials on students' critical thinking skills based on educational level. Research results that can be used in meta-analysis have certain characteristics/criteria. The analysis used is quantitative descriptive statistical analysis with the help of the OpenMEE application. Data analysis by calculating the Effect Size (ES) value from the mean value, Standard Deviation (SD), and number of samples (N) from each article analyzed. The overall average effect size is 3.801 in the high category (ES ≥ 0.8), and the P-Value value is <0.001, which means that the use of teaching materials provides significant effectiveness in critical thinking skills because the P-Value value is higher. smaller than 0.05. Meanwhile, the results of the heterogeneity test show that the Tauˆ2 value is 4.091, and the Het P-Value value is <0.001, which means it is significant. So it can be said that the Q statistic from the 17 studies has a variety of variances with diversity that is classified as very high with an Iˆ2 value reaching 97.1%, so there is potential for moderator variable analysis to be carried out. Furthermore, the effect size value based on level of education obtained an average effect size at the high school education level of 9.196, higher than other levels of education, which means that the use of teaching materials is more effective when used at the high school level compared to elementary, middle school and other educational levels. University, with P-Value < 0.001, which means that the use of teaching materials in high school provides significant effectiveness.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model in improving student learning outcomes at the elementary, middle and high school levels. The research method used is meta-analysis by re-analyzing articles from 19 research results that have been published, and can be accessed online, which were published in 2014-2023. The results of this meta-analysis research show that the effect size value at the high school level is 1,350, at the elementary school level is 2,636, and at the junior high school level is 4,727. From the effect size analysis, it can be concluded that the implementation of the PjBL learning model has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes at the elementary, middle and high school levels.

Abstract

This research aims to present a comprehensive review of the influence of learning local wisdom on improving critical thinking skills, by conducting a meta-analysis of a number of empirical studies through appropriate articles. The method used in the research is the meta-analysis method by reviewing journal articles found according to the topic, then the meta-analysis stages are adjusted to the meta-analysis research steps. The results of the analysis provide a broader picture of the impact of local wisdom learning on empirical aspects related to meta analysis of educational levels, increasing N-Gain, meta-analysis of objectives, statistical analysis, research design and measuring effect size. The meta-analysis results show that learning local wisdom significantly contributes to improving overall critical thinking abilities. These findings strengthen the argument that educational curricula must contain elements of local wisdom to improve students' critical thinking skills and can help decision makers in the field of education make policies and learning practices that are more relevant to the local cultural context.

Abstract

Penelitian meta analisis ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran CIRC di Indonesia terhadap kemampuan membaca peserta didik. Penelitian ini menganalisis 10 penelitian yang telah dipublikasikan di jurnal atau prosiding nasional dan internasional dengan terakreditasi minimal SINTA 4 dalam 6 tahun terakhir dari tahun 2017 hingga 2023. Adapun statistic yang digunakan untuk transformasi ini adalah mean, deviasi standar, dan ukuran sampel. Software yang digunakan untuk menganalisis meta adalah IBM SPSS 28. Menurut model efek acak, dengan 95% interval kepercayaan, effect size sebesar 0,75 yang berkategori sedang. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran CIRC menghasilkan pengaruh yang lebih besar terhadap kemampuan membaca peserta didik dibandingkan pendekatan konvensional. Dilihat dari ciri-ciri penelitiannya, menghasilkan perbedaan yang signifikan dalam hal jenjang pendidikan, tahun studi dan wilayah tempat penelitian. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka penerapan model pembelajaran CIRC di Indonesia sangat efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca peserta didik

Abstract

Riset ini tujuannya menghasilkan E-modul IPA SMP kelas VII berbasis mind mapping terintegrasi konteks budaya lokal yang valid, praktis, dan efektif guna meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Riset ini ialah riset pengembangan yang mengintegrasikan model ADDIE (Analyse, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluate). Data yang dihimpun yakni data kualitatif dan kuantitatif seperti kuisioner validitas ahli, kepraktisan guru dan siswa, serta tes hasil belajar siswa. Uji efektivitas dilaksanakan melalui rancangan pre-experimental one group pre-test-post-test design. Perolehan riset yang didapat, yakni (1) E-modul dikemas melalui mind mapping terintegrasi konteks budaya lokal yang dilengkapi ilustrasi fenomena alam sekitar, budaya Bali, audio, video serta kuis interaktif. (2) E-modul IPA sangat valid melalui segi materi serta koefesien validasi Gregory 1,00, sangat valid melalui segi media berdasarkan perolehan rerata 95,00, sangat valid melalui segi bahasa lewat nilai rerata 99,20. (4) E-modul sangat praktis oleh guru dan peserta didik melalui nilai rerata berturut-turut 94,61 dan 91,89. (5) E-modul dinyatakan efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa berdasarkan perolehan <gain score> 0,53 kualifikasi sedang. Berlandaskan perolehan riset, bisa disimpulkan bahwasanya E-modul IPA berbasis mind mapping terintegrasi konteks budaya lokal dinyatakan valid, efektif dan praktis meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Objective: Prospective science teachers must have good scientific literacy skills as critical agents in developing future generations' scientific literacy. However, the scientific literacy skills of prospective science teachers in Indonesia still need to improve. This research tries to formulate the OMIRE learning model to increase the scientific literacy of prospective science teachers. Method: The method used is a literature study with a qualitative research type. Results: The hypothetical OMIRE learning model synthesizes inquiry-based learning models and culture-based learning models to develop the scientific literacy of prospective science teachers. This model is based on several learning theories, including constructivism, Piaget's cognitive development theory, Vygotsky's social constructivist theory, Ausuble's meaningful learning, Bruner's discovery learning, Novak's concept map (mind map), information processing theory, collateral learning theory, boundary crossing metaphor culture, and scientific reconstruction. The hypothetical OMIRE learning model consists of five phases: Observation (O), Mind Mapping (M), Investigation (I), Reconstruction (R), and Evaluation (E). Novelty: The hypothetical OMIRE learning model can develop the scientific literacy of prospective science teachers. Further research needs to be conducted to test the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the OMIRE learning model in improving the scientific literacy of prospective science teachers.

Abstract

Berdasarkan data sensus penduduk pada tahun 2020 yang dilakukan oleh Badan Pusat Statistik Nasional, penduduk yang ada di Kabupaten Gianyar sebanyak 515.344 jiwa Berdasarkan data ini, kemungkinan perkawinan usia dini dengan rentang usia 10 – 16 tahun di Kabupaten Gianyar masih terjadi menurut buku data statistik yang berjudul Gianyar dalam angka 2020. Berdasarkan data tersebut perlu dilakukan suatu bentuk penelitian ilmiah terkait dengan batas usia yang diatur oleh UU No 16 tahun 2019 tentang perubahan atas UU No 1 tahun 1974, dengan efektifitas keberlakuan UU tersebut dalam mengatur perkawinan. Beberapa hal yang diatur, terkait usia ideal untuk melakukan perkawinan, sehingga dianggap mampu dalam menjalin rumah tangga. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian hukum yuridis-empiris, yaitu mengkaji permasalahan yang muncul di lapangan berlandaskan teori-teori yang ada. Dengan hasil yang didapatkan yaitu penelitian ini di langsungkan di Desa Pejeng Kelod, Kabupaten Gianyar. Dengan adanya Peraturan Bupati No 13 tahun 2017 tentang Pencegahan Perkawinan Pada Usia Anak di Kabupaten Gianyar yang menyatakan batasan anak adalah seseorang yang belum berumur 18 tahun. Adapun beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi perkawinan usia dini, seperti faktor ekonomi, pendidikan, orang tua, biologis dan persepsi masyarakat. Dengan adanya peraturan yang ditetapkan Bupati diharapkan perkawinan usia dini dapat menurun sehingga dapat di cegah kejadiannya

Abstract

This research is based on observations conducted through Google Forms and interviews showing that 97.6% of respondents stated the need for effective and flexible learning innovations. In addition, 100% of respondents stated that flipbook-based digital learning materials have never been used in basic sepak takraw learning techniques. Based on the results of the needs analysis, this study aims to develop flipbook digital teaching materials related to basic service techniques and sepak takraw smash materials. This study applies the ADDIE development model which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The subjects of this study were fifth-semester students of the physical education, health, and recreation study program with a purposive sample. The final results show that the content/material expert test is in the very feasible category (100%), the design expert test is in the feasible category (88.3%), the media expert test is in the very feasible category (96.7%), and the field practitioner test is in the very feasible category (96.9%). Furthermore, the product trial obtained individual test results of 94.2%, small group test of 95.5%, and large group test of 92.7%, all of which are in the very appropriate category. Thus, this flipbook learning material is considered relevant and appropriate for use in sepak takraw learning, and is expected to contribute to the Physical Education, Health, and Recreation Study Program, Faculty of Sports and Health, Ganesha University of Education, and sports practitioners in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: the trend of research on improving misconception in science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), the remediated science concepts, the efforts to remediate science misconceptions. The research method used is systematic literature review (SLR) of the literature from 2019 to present (May 2025) on the Scopus, ERIC, and Google Scholar databases. So far, there has been no comprehensive review of integrated science misconception improvement in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The results showed that the trend of science misconception improvement from 2019 to present (May 2025) was mostly conducted in 2023 and was dominated by misconceptions at the high school level. The most remediated misconceptions are on the concept of Physics. The most applied efforts to remediate science misconceptions based on groups of media, models, strategies, methods, and learning approaches respectively are interactive media, conceptual change models, cognitive conflict strategies, refutation text methods, and multiple representative approaches. These remediation efforts can be integrated with each other to design more effective remediation techniques. These findings provide valuable insights for educators and researchers in designing more effective interventions to address science misconceptions at various levels of education, especially high school, and emphasize the importance of integrating various improvement efforts.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to test the effectiveness of E-LKPD IPA through Socientific inquiry-based learning (SSIBL) Model in improving students’ scientific literacy skills. The research type used is pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. The effectiveness test was undertaken at SMP Negeri 3 Kubutambahan in the even semester of the 2022/2023 school year. The research subjects were students of class VII A, it consisted of 36 students. The research instrument used was a scientific literacy test which adjusted for scientific literacy indicators in PISA 2018. The data analysis used was descriptive analysis in the form of an average score (mean) and a normalized n-gain score obtained from the pretest and posttest results. The results indicated that a normalized n-gain was 0.59 in the medium category and the results of the one-sample proportion test showed that students’ mastery of scientific literacy was more than or equal to 75%. Thus, E-LKPD of SSIBL model is effective in improving student’s scientific literacy skills
