Abstract

This article investigates the effect between social media influencer and electronic word of mouth mediated by brand image on purchase intention at Eternamoore Beauty Clinic Makassar through descriptive-quantitative research. We test the hypotheses of 117 respondents from Eternamoore’s Instagram followers and used the Structural Equation Modelling with PLS. The result reveal that social media influencer exhibit better for brand image. Electronic word of mouth has significant and positive effect on brand image. Whereas the social media influencer has unsignificant effects on purchase intention, brand image mediates this effect. Electronic word of mouth can enhance purchase intention. Additionally, the moderated mediation analysis result revealed that the indirect effect of electronic word of mouth on purchase intention is positively moderated by brand image. These results provide a better understanding of the influencer and e-WOM and offer important contribution to the social media marketing and add valuable insights for practitioners to advance the use of Influencers and e-WOM.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh harga dan kualitas produk terhadap minat beli smartphone pada mahasiswa Jurusan Manajemen Angkatan 2020 Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari mahasiswa Jurusan Manajemen Angkatan 2020. Jenis data yang digunakan meliputi data primer yang diperoleh langsung dari responden, serta data sekunder yang mendukung. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan skala Likert untuk mengukur variabel-variabel yang diteliti. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Social Science (SPSS) versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa harga dan kualitas produk memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat beli smartphone. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai t hitung untuk variabel harga sebesar 2,228 > t tabel 1,996, dan nilai t hitung untuk variabel kualitas produk sebesar 5,117 > t tabel 1,996. Kesimpulannya, baik harga maupun kualitas produk berperan signifikan dalam mendorong minat beli mahasiswa terhadap smartphone. Kata Kunci: Harga, Kualitas Produk, Minat Beli, Smartphone

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of promotion and product innovation on marketing performance through brand image in Muslim clothing SMEs in Makassar City. The research was carried out at the Akhwat Sewing House in Makassar City using a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling and produces 114 samples. The analysis technique used in this study is path analysis with the SEM-PLS method. The results of the study show that promotion has a positive and significant effect on brand image indicating that effective promotion can increase consumer positive perceptions of the brands offered. Product innovation has a positive and significant effect on brand image so that it is able to present innovative products from competitors. Promotion has a positive and significant effect on marketing performance so that it can increase consumer awareness of their products. Product innovation has no significant effect on marketing performance which indicates that other factors besides product innovation may be more dominant in influencing the marketing performance of these MSMEs. Brand image has a positive and significant effect on marketing performance which contributes to building consumer loyalty to the product. This study also found that brand image is able to mediate promotion on marketing performance, which means that good promotion will enhance brand image and contribute to marketing performance. Brand image is also able to mediate product innovation on marketing performance. Innovative products can build a positive brand image and enhance their marketing performance. This research recommends that MSMEs develop more effective and targeted promotion strategies, unique innovative products, and strengthen their brand image.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how employee satisfaction at the Bulukumba Regent's Office mediates the impact of transformational and emotionally intelligent leadership on worker performance. A survey of 104 respondents was used to collect data for this quantitative investigation.  The majority of respondents (41.35%) were between the ages of 31 and 40, followed by those between the ages of 41 and 50 (29.81%), had a bachelor's degree (65.38%), had worked for 5 to 10 years (34.62%), followed by those between the ages of 11 and 15 (22.1%), and held staff jobs (68.27%), according to the data.  According to the study's findings, employee satisfaction is not impacted by emotional intelligence, emotional intelligence affects employee performance, employee satisfaction affects employee performance, transformational leadership affects employee satisfaction, transformational leadership does not affect employee performance, and employee satisfaction does not mediate transformational leadership on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Occupational Safety and Health (OHS), Individual Characteristics, and Career Development on Employee Performance at the Bulukumba Regency Fire Department. The background of this study is based on the importance of optimal human resource management, especially in high-risk work environments. The research approach used is quantitative with the causality method, where data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 183 respondents from a total population of 335 employees, using the Slovin formula in determining the sample. The results showed that OHS variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The highest average value of OHS indicators was obtained for compliance with safety procedures, followed by the provision of PPE. This finding is reinforced by the results of interviews and field observations, which indicate that employees have a positive perception of OHS implementation, although there is still a need for improved health facilities and a comprehensive understanding of OHS. Other factors such as individual characteristics and career development were also found to contribute to improving employee performance. This study emphasizes the importance of implementing an effective OHS system, clear career development, and increasing individual capacity in creating a productive, safe, and sustainable work environment.

Abstract

This research aims to discuss the application of outsourcing Bank Sulselbar Makassar Sharia Branch. Using qualitative approach data collection through in-depth interviews with the number of informants 7 people.The results showed that the application of outsourcing is going well. This can be seen from the indicators used as a reference in the application of outsourcing. These indicators are outsourcing planning, strategy selection, cost analysis, employer selection, negotiation stage, resource transition and relationship management.  From these indicators in general it has been well applied. However, there are still some shortcomings in the application of outsourcing, namely from the provision of guarantees and payroll of outsourcing employees. The application of outsourcing is running well due to the supervision carried out by external parties and internal parties. Keywords: Human Resource Management, Outsourcing, and Outsourcing Implementation.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to test the influence of work discipline on employee performance in PT. PLN (Persero) Makassar Distribution Regulatory Area.This research data was collected from 68 respondents working at PT. PLN (Persero) Makassar Distribution Regulatory Area.The statement was given using a questionnaire. Respondents' responses to the statements were then analyzed quantitatively. Quantitative analysis includes tests of validity, reliability, and simple linear regression analysis.The results of this study showed that work discipline variables have a dominant effect on employee performance at PT. PLN (Persero) Makassar Distribution Area. Partially the variables of work discipline have a significant effect on the performance of employees with a thitung of 8,499and a significant value of 0.000 has a significant effect on the performance of employees, the most dominant affects the performance of employees at PT. PLN (Persero) Makassar Distribution Regulatory Area is a work discipline variable with a regression coefficient of 0.851Keywords: Work Discipline, Employee Performance

Abstract

ABSTRACK                 This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of competence, work environment on motivation and performance of employees of the Gowa Agricultural Extension College (STPP) in Gowa, South Sulawesi Province as well as to identify and analyze variables that have direct and indirect influence on employee performance.                This research was conducted at the College of Agricultural Extension (STPP) Gowadi Gowa, South Sulawesi Province with a sample of 98 people. The method of analysis used in this research is quantitative method, through path analysis testing.                The results show that competence has a significant effect on motivation; The work environment has a significant positive effect on motivation; Competence has a significant positive effect on employee performance; The work environment has a positive and insignificant effect on performance; Motivation has a significant effect on performance; Competence has a significant influence on employee performance through motivation, this shows that the more appropriate the competence of employees with their work will increase work motivation and ultimately have an impact on employee performance that is getting better; The work environment has a significant influence on employee performance through motivation, this shows that the conditions of the work environment can increase employee motivation so that it has an impact on improving employee performance. Keywords: Competence, work environment, motivation and performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on the performance of PAUD SPAS tutors in Sombaopu District, Gowa Regency. This research was conducted in Sombaopu Subdistrict, Gowa Regency with an implementation time of 2 months, namely January to February 2018 with a sample of 42 people. The type of data used in this research is quantitative data.The Emotional Intelligence variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect on the performance of PAUD SPAS tutors in Sombaopu District, Gowa Regency. The results of the hypothesis test show that the t significance value of the emotional intelligence variable is smaller than 0.05 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that the hypothesis which states "Emotional Intelligence has a positive and significant effect on the performance of PAUD SPAS tutors in Sombaopu District, Gowa Regency" is proven. Work Motivation Variable (X2) has a positive and significant effect on the performance of PAUD SPAS tutors in Sombaopu District, Gowa Regency. The results of the hypothesis test show that the t significance value of the work motivation variable is less than 0.05, so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the hypothesis which states "Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of PAUD SPAS tutors in Sombaopu District, Gowa Regency" is proven. Work Environment Variable (X3) has a positive effect although not significant on the performance of PAUD SPAS tutors in Sombaopu District, Gowa Regency. The results of the hypothesis test show that the t significance value of the work environment variable is greater than 0.05, so that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected, which means that the hypothesis which states "Work Environment has a positive and significant effect on the performance of PAUD SPAS tutors in Sombaopu District, Gowa Regency" is not proven. . Of the three variables analyzed, namely emotional intelligence (X1), motivation (X2) and work environment (X3), it turns out that the one that has the greatest influence or highest contribution to performance is the emotional intelligence variable (X1) with a standardized coefficients beta value of 0.455 and variable The work environment (X3) with the smallest influence or smallest contribution is the standardized coefficients beta value of 0.170. Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Motivation and Work Environment

Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze the Influence of Leadership, Competence on Job Satisfaction and Performance of State Civil Apparatus in the Department of Culture and Tourism of South Sulawesi Province. As well as knowing and analyzing the dominant variables affecting the performance of the Department of Culture and Tourism of South Sulawesi Province. The research has been conducted at the Office of Culture and Tourism of South Sulawesi Province with a period of implementation for 1 month, namely the month of March to April 2018 with a sample of 59 people. The analysis method used in this research is descriptive statistical method and path analysis. The results showed that: Leadership has a significant influence on job satisfaction with a value of p = 0.004 < 0.05 with a coefficient value of 0.322, Competency has a significant influence on job satisfaction with p = 0.000< 0.05 with a coefficient value of 0.499, Leadership has a significant influence on employee performance with p = 0.002 < 0.05 with a coefficient value of 0.405, Competency has an insignificant positive influence on job satisfaction with p = 0.425 < 0.05 with a coefficient value of 0.115, Job satisfaction has a significant influence on performance with p = 0.021< 0.050 with a coefficient value of 0.233, furthermore Leadership has a significant influence on performance through job satisfaction with a coefficient value of 0.075, this coefficient shows that good leadership in the Office of Culture and Tourism of South Sulawesi Province can increase employee job satisfaction so that it has an impact on improving employee performance. And Competency has a significant influence on employee performance through job satisfaction with a coefficient value of 0.116, this coefficient shows that the more appropriate competencies that employees have with their work will increase job satisfaction and ultimately impact on the performance of employees who are getting better. Keywords: Leadership, competence, job satisfaction and performance
