Abstract

Using local potential as teaching materials is an effort to meet the learning outcomes of class X biology subjects. This research aims to develop a STEAM-based Belawa Tortoise conservation e-supplement to improve higher-order thinking skills in high school ecosystem materials. This research is a Research and Development research using the ADDIE model The ADDIE development model is composed of the analyze, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages, but is limited to the implementation stage, namely small-scale tests. The small-scale test was conducted on 10 students of grade XI MAN 3 Buntet Pesantren Cirebon. The results showed that STEAM-based Belawa Tortoise conservation e-supplements have characteristics that there are local wisdom offerings with conservation content, virtual tours equipped with representative pictures and videos, STEAM-based student activities. E-supplements are valid and feasible to use based on the assessment of material experts and media experts with small-scale test results having an average of 94.6 with excellent criteria and unrevised qualifications. Based on the research, it can be concluded that the STEAM-based Belawa Tortoise conservation e-supplement is declared feasible, potentially to improve the higher-order thinking skills of high school learners.

Abstract

Learning media plays a very important role in the learning process, especially in the digital era. Students are used to using technology in their daily activities, so it is necessary to get used to using technology as well as in learning. Based on the results of initial observations conducted in 5 schools, it is known that the motivation to learn and mastery of the concept of grade VIII students is still relatively low, so learning media that can train these skills to students is needed. The purpose of this research is to analysis the effectiveness of SATUSIK Application to increase students’ motivation to learn and master concepts. The test subjects in this study are students of grade VIII MTs Darul Ulum Semarang and SMP N 2 Tengaran for the 2023/2024 academic year. The data analysis techniques used include analysis of learning motivation and concept mastery using the N-gain test. The mastery of the concept is also determined by the success of students in achieving scores above the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). The results of the study showed that the effectiveness of the SATUSIK Application on students’ learning motivation was seen from the N-gain score of 0.84 with high criteria. The effectiveness of the SATUSIK Application on the mastery of concepts was seen from 86% of students were able to pass the KKM and after being tested N-gain got a score of 0.72 with a high category.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the correlation of 4C skill aspects based on students’ achievement in each aspect through GGE-JAS learning model. This research was conducted at SMA N 1 Tengaran, Semarang Regency with a quasi-experimental model and a non-equivalent group research design. The data collection method used was with test and non-test instruments. The results of this research in critical thinking skills in control class had an N-gain result of 0.36 in the low category and the experimental class was 0.53 in the medium category. This shows a striking difference before and after treatment in each class, so that the GGE-JAS model was effective. After the implementation of the GGE-JAS model in the experimental class, the achievement of critical thinking indicators was 73% in good category, collaboration skills was 83% in a very colaborative category, communication skills was 74.8% in a communicative category and creative thinking skills was 71.32% in creative category. The results of the correlation analysis stated that collaboration skills had a significant relationship with communication skills with t-value of 3.22 while creative thinking skills had a significant relationship with critical thinking skills with t-value of 2.04. The conclusion of this research is that GGE-JAS model is effective to improve students’ 4C skills in the mobility system material for class XI MIPA SMA N 1 Tengaran, Semarang Regency and students’ collaboration skills are significantly positive related to students’ communication skills, while students’ creative thinking skills have a significant positive relation with students’ critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The Ministry of Education and Culture has changed the national assessment strategy from the National Examination to the Minimum Competency Assessment, Character Survey, and Environmental Survey to address the decline in Indonesia’s PISA ranking. This issue needs to be addressed by implementing a technology-based model that can be applied in education to help students develop scientific literacy skills and character in preparation for AKM and PISA. One of the recommended learning models today is the student-centered learning model, which requires students to actively participate in the learning process, such as Problem-Based Learning with Blended Learning. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the blended PBL model in ecosystem material in enhancing students’ scientific literacy and Pancasila student character in the experimental class and to assess the implementation of the PBL model with Blended Learning. This research is a quasi-experimental study. The research design used is the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study was conducted at SMAN 1 Kramat, with the research subjects being students from classes X1, X5, X6, and X8.The results showed a significant increase in scientific literacy and Pancasila student character in the experimental class where the blended PBL model was applied to the ecosystem material. The implementation of the blended PBL model was successfully carried out, as evidenced by positive student responses, with 68.86% of the questionnaire scores falling into the good category. Based on the research, it can be concluded that the implementation of the blended PBL model in ecosystem material effectively improves students’ scientific literacy and character can be successfully implemented.

Abstract

The low level of students' scientific literacy is one of the problems that needs to be solved. This study aims to analyze the application of the Hinbiodiv-assisted PBL-STEM model in improving students' scientific literacy in biodiversity material in high school. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The research sample included class X MIPA 4 as a control class totaling 37 students and class X MIPA 1 as an experimental group totaling 34 students. The data collected were in the form of increasing students' scientific literacy by distributing questionnaires to students. The data analysis of this study used the normality test, Walcaxon test, Man Whitney test, and N-Gain test. The results showed that the Implementation of the Hinbiodiv-Assisted PBL-STEM Model could improve students' scientific literacy in the experimental class with an N-Gain value of 0.79 in the high category, while in the control class with the conventional method the N-Gain value was 0.46 in the moderate category. So it can be concluded that the application of the Hinbiodiv-Assisted PBL-STEM Model is recommended for use in biology learning in high school to improve scientific literacy.

Abstract

Padlet-based interactive media can be used as a learning resource for students to increase environmental literacy. Based on the results of initial observations, it has not been optimal in linking environmental change material with environmental literacy. Students do not understand environmental literacy in a broad and global perspective. So students’ environmental literacy skills are lacking. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of Padlet-based interactive media in increasing environmental literacy in vocational school students’ environmental change material. his study uses a quantitative method. The test subjects in this research were class X students at Al Ittihad Bringin Vocational School for the 2024/2025 academic year. The instruments used are multiple choice tests and LKPD. The results of this research are in the form of Padlet-based interactive me dia to increase environmental literacy that is valid, easy to understand and practical. The results of the effectiveness of Padlet-based interactive media in increasing environmental literacy can be seen from the N-gain value in the knowledge aspect of 0.88 in the high category, the attitude aspect of 0.82 in the high category, and the knowledge skills aspect of 0.81 in the high category. High criteria indicate that Padlet-based interactive media is effective in increasing students’ environmental literacy, especially in environmental change material.
