Abstract

This study was conducted due to the low learning outcomes of students in the topic of energy transformation around them and the underdeveloped ability of reflective thinking. The aim of this research is to analyze the impact of implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model combined with digital comics on enhancing students' reflective thinking skills. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, with the subjects being fourth-grade students at SDN Margorejo 1/403. The study sample consisted of 27 students from class IV B and 27 students from class IV C. Data collection was carried out through observations, written tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The findings indicate that the use of the Problem-Based Learning model supported by digital comics significantly boosts students' learning motivation. Moreover, the application of this method positively impacts the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN Margorejo 1/403, particularly in enhancing their reflective thinking skills. Overall, this learning model falls into the effective category. The study results demonstrate a significant improvement in students' reflective thinking. The average pretest score for experimental class 1 (IV B) was 74.07, while experimental class 2 (IV C) achieved 91.95. After the intervention, the posttest average for both classes was the same, at 86.11. The hypothesis test results showed a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000, proving the high effectiveness of this learning method in developing students' reflective thinking skills. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of digital comics in the Problem-Based Learning model provides a positive contribution to enhancing the reflective thinking abilities of fourth-grade students at SDN Margorejo 1/403 Surabaya.

Abstract

Students' poor reflective thinking abilities, ineffective use of digital learning resources, and slow learning processes in science classes in Sidoarjo City's primary schools prompted this study. The purpose of this research is to find out how fifth graders' reflective thinking abilities on the human digestive system fared when taught utilizing the problem-based learning approach with the use of the digital learning tool Quizwhizzer. Two experimental groups using the problem-based learning paradigm are part of this descriptive quantitative study's quasi-experimental approach. The results show that the pupils' ability to think reflectively has significantly improved. In experimental class 1, the t-value was 22.19, which is greater than the t-table value of 2.06, and in experimental class 2, the t-value was 36.60, which is also greater than the t-table value of 2.06. Experimental classes 1 and 2 both have N-Gain values of 0.73 and 0.78, respectively. Therefore, it has been demonstrated that the digital learning tool Quizwhizzer helps fifth graders improve their reflective thinking abilities.

Abstract

This research was motivated by low student learning outcomes in time measurement material and students' level of understanding had not yet reached the level of reflective thinking. This research aims to describe the influence of using contextual media with the PBL model on reflective thinking skills in class II at SDN Sedati Gede 2 Sidoarjo. Contextual media is concrete media that contains cuts, stick-ons and folds, an image that is displayed in front of it and attached to a whiteboard. This type of research uses descriptive quantitative with the "Explanatory sequential design" method. This design involves measuring students' reflective thinking abilities before (pre-test) and after (post-test) treatment in the form of using contextual media to measure mathematics time. This research is included in the Posttest – Preetest type of test which uses 2 classes. The data obtained in this research has an average score of 75.95 from Class 2 - A with 30 students, and from Class 2 - B with 32 students. So it can be said that the use of contextual media that has been developed is also effective on student learning outcomes. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of contextual media on students using the PBL learning model on reflective thinking skills in class II at SDN Sedati Gede 2 Sidoarjo. The results of the research showed that there was a significant increase in students' reflective thinking abilities, thus contextual media was proven to make a positive contribution to the reflective thinking abilities of class II students at SDN Sedati Gede 2 Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan berpikir reflektif siswa pada saat melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran, khususnya pada mata pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam (IPA) yang belum pernah diukur sebelumnya. Keterampilan berpikir reflektif sangat penting dimiliki oleh siswa. Dari hasil observasi diketahui bahwa nilai IPA siswa masih rendah. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir reflektif siswa sekolah dasar adalah model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL) menggunakan media flipbook. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keterampilan berpikir reflektif siswa melalui model PBL menggunakan media flipbook pada pembelajaran IPA materi penggolongan hewan berdasarkan jenis makanannya di kelas IV SDN Margorejo 1/403 Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran dengan model PBL menggunakan media flipbook mampu memberikan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir reflektif siswa. Dengan model PBL menggunakan media flipbook, siswa memiliki kesempatan untuk memecahkan masalah sehingga kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dapat memberikan respon positif selama proses belajar mengajar karena siswa merasa mendapatkan kesempatan untuk mengajukan ide, menanggapi pertanyaan, mengajukan pertanyaan, dan mempresentasikan hasil pekerjaan mereka.

Abstract

Natural science and ethnoscience can help combine local knowledge with modern scientific knowledge to overcome problems in learning. The aim of this research is to determine the feasibility of a worksheet based on the "Jidor art" ethnoscience project for PGSD students, as well as to determine student responses in learning the Physics of sound concept course through a project assignment integrating the Jidor art ethnoscience approach. The subject used is the tanjidor musical instrument. The research method used is the development of the Borg and Gall R & D Model. From data collection to large group operational validation (Step 8). The feasibility results obtained an average score of 4.1 in the good category. Student responses stated that 69.75% agreed that it was acceptable. Thus, it can be concluded that the worksheet based on the ethnoscience project "Jidor Art" for PGSD students is declared suitable for use. Student responses stated that they agreed that it could provide insight, challenge, make things easier and fun, as well as foster the 4C.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to define how animated video learning media influences the understanding of fifth grade students of SDN Sumur Welut III Surabaya about science and scientific concepts. This study uses quantitative methods such as Quasi Experimental Design. From the search results sig. (2-tailer) 0.000 less than 0.05 regarding the test results in implementing the SPSS version 25 program. As a result, H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted, with it it can be concluded that the understanding of science and scientific concepts of fifth grade students of SDN Sumur Welut III Surabaya is influenced by animated video learning media.Keywords: Concept Understanding, Animated Video Learning Abstrak: Penelitian ini ditujuan untuk mendefinisikan bagaimana media pembelajaran video animasi berpengaruh pada pemahaman siswa kelas V SDN Sumur Welut III Surabaya tentang IPA dan konsep ilmiah. Abstract

Di kelas V SD, penelitian tertulis dengan teknik kuantitatif mengetahui adanya pengaruh media pembelajaran Smartbook pada hasil belajar siswa tentang sistem pencernaan pada manusia. Peneliti ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian desain kuasi eksperimen dimana terdapat kelompok pembanding pretest-posttest yang sesuai. Pembelajaran dapat menjadi lebih menyenangkan dan lingkungan kelas menjadi lebih dinamis serta produktif dengan bantuan Media Pembelajaran Smartbook ini. Tujuan pembelajaran dapat didukung oleh lingkungan belajar tersebut, diwujudkan dalam bentuk pemahaman mata pelajaran di kelas sains. Kelas V-A berjumlah 21 siswa ialah kelas eksperimen, serta kelas V-B berjumlah 21 siswa ialah kelas kontrol pada sampel penelitian tertulis. Tes (pretest dan posttest) ialah metode pengumpulan data dipakai dalam penelitian tertulis. Dengan alat SPSS versi 21, uji-t ialah pendekatan analisis data dipakai dalam studi tertulis. Hasil penelitian tertulis memperlihatkan Media Smartbook adanya pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA Kelas V. Hasil uji-t, khususnya sig (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05, memperlihatkan hal ini. Saat memeriksa landasan pengambilan keputusan, 0,000 < 0,05. Dalam menarik kesimpulan dari studi tertulis, adanya pengaruh Media Smartbook pada Hasil Belajar IPA Pada Materi Sistem Pencernaan Manusia di Kelas V SDN Kepuh Kiriman 1 Waru.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to see how the TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) type cooperative learning model is implemented in fifth grade elementary school on the subject of the human digestive system. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The subjects in this research were 28 class V students at SDN Tenggilis Mejoyo 1 Surabaya. Data collection was carried out with science subject tests on the human digestive system and followed up with interviews to strengthen the test results. The results show that the application of TAI learning makes it easier for students to work on questions and understand the material. Make students think critically about the test questions that have been given. Firstly, regarding collaboration, many students initially had difficulty understanding science material. However, collaboration in groups helps them because they can help each other and ask questions to each other with group members. Second, they are taught to help each other and work together and be responsible for their duties. Third, students become more motivated by having quizzes and competitions in learning.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa karena guru tidak membuat variasi selama pembelajaran, khususnya pelajaran IPA. Untuk mencapai keberhasilan dalam pembelajaran, diperlukan model pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa secara aktif dan mandiri, yaitu dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Blended Learning. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Blended Learning terhadap hasil belajar kelas IPA klasifikasi materi hewan kelas V berdasarkan jenis makanan di SD Pepelegi II Waru. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen kuantitatif menggunakan desain kelompok kontrol nonekuivalen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa di kelas V-A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan V-B sebagai kelas kontrol dengan masing-masing 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes (pretest dan posttest). Data yang telah diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan SPSS 16.0. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan diskusi data, menunjukkan bahwa capaian hasil belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran Blended Learning lebih tinggi dibandingkan model konvensional. Untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan uji T, nilai tcount > ttable yang menunjukkan 3.778 > 2.001 sehingga H0 ditolak, yang artinya terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Blended Learning terhadap hasil belajar kelas IPA V klasifikasi materi hewan berdasarkan jenis makanan di SD Pepelegi II Waru.Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Blended Learning, Sains, Hasil Belajar Abstract This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes because the teacher does not make variations during learning, especially science lessons. This type of research uses a quantitative experiment using a nonequivalent control group design. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed using SPSS 16.0. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it shows that the achievement of student learning outcomes with the Blended Learning learning model is higher than the conventional model. Abstract

AbstrakKesalahan yang sering terjadi pada siswa kelas IV di SDN Margorejo I Surabaya adalah kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika dengan pecahan dan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika dengan pecahan. Prosedur Newman menyatakan bahwa kesalahan yang dapat terjadi adalah kesalahan membaca, salah memahami masalah, transformasi, perhitungan, dan menulis dalam jawaban. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh siswa dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab kesalahan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika dengan pecahan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode tes dan wawancara. Pemilihan mata kuliah penelitian sebanyak 3 mahasiswa berdasarkan kemampuan tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek penelitian membuat kesalahan pada setiap item dengan berbagai jenis kesalahan, yaitu kesalahan membaca, memahami masalah, kesalahan transformasi, kesalahan perhitungan, dan kesalahan penulisan dalam jawaban. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa: (1) siswa S1 dengan kemampuan tinggi melakukan kesalahan lebih banyak sebanyak 10 kesalahan dibandingkan dengan siswa S3 dengan kemampuan rendah, siswa S2 dengan kemampuan sedang justru lebih sering melakukan 15 kesalahan, sedangkan siswa S3 dengan kemampuan sedang melakukan lebih banyak kesalahan. rendah, pada kenyataannya, mereka membuat setidaknya 9 kesalahan.Kata Kunci: Kesalahan Siswa, Masalah Matematika, Materi Pecahan AbstractErrors that often occur in fourth grade students at SDN Margorejo I Surabaya are student errors in solving math problems with fractions and the factors that cause student errors in solving math problems with fractions. The Newman procedure states that errors that can occur are reading errors, misunderstanding the problem, transformation, calculation, and writing in answers. The purpose of this study was to find out the errors made by students and to find out the factors causing students' errors in solving math problems with fractions. This type of research is qualitative research. Data was collected by using test and interview methods. The selection of research subjects was 3 students based on high, medium, and low abilities. The results showed that the research subjects made errors in each item with various types of errors, namely reading errors, understanding problems, transformation errors, calculation errors, and writing errors in answers. Based on the results of the study also showed that: (1) S1 students with high abilities made more mistakes as many as 10 mistakes compared to S3 students with low abilities, S2 students with moderate abilities actually made 15 mistakes more often, while S3 students with moderate abilities made more mistakes. low, in fact, they made at least 9 mistakes.Keywords: Student errors, math problems, fraction material
