Abstract

Konsep teaching industry dalam era merdeka belajar yang digagas Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan Riset dan Teknologi telah mendorong kolaborasi antara dosen dengan mitra industri dalam mengembangkankan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini mengusung tema pemanfaatan limbah kaca pada produk konstruksi non-struktural. Limbah kaca merupakan material yang terbuang dan belum dimanfaatkan secara baik. Limbah kaca kaya akan silika, oleh karena itu sangat baik dijadikan pengganti sebagian semen karena kandungan tertinggi semen adalah silika. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan terlebih dahulu mencari informasi permasalahan mitra dalam melaksanakan produksi dan dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan. Modifikasi ukuran partikel dilakukan dengan alat penghancur kaca hingga didapat ukuran rata-rata 50 µm. Serbuk kaca ini digunakan untuk menggantikan sebagian semen dalam pembuatan lubang angin. Produk yang dihasilkan menunjukkan kuat tekan dan daya serap air sebesar masing-masing 9,23 MPa dan 8,76% dan dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan pada bangunan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan dampak positif pada mitra yaitu mitra sudah dapat mengaplikasikan limbah kaca menjadi produk berguna dan benilai ekonomis. Kolaborasi ini telah menjadikan Universitas Abulyatama sebagai motor inovasi reka cipta untuk mendorong akselerasi hilirisasi riset dosen.

Abstract

Provinsi Aceh merupakan salah satu provinsi yang kaya akan sumber daya alam laut, sehingga tidak megherankan jika mata pencaharian sejumlah masyarakat adalah nelayan. Keterbatasan sumber daya alam kayu untuk pembuatan kapal ikan telah menggiring munculnya berbagai material alternatif, salah satunya bahan Fiberglass. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui pendampingan pembuatan miniatur kapal nelayan berbasis bahan fiberglass kepada mahasiswa. Tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan wawasan, keterampilan, dan menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan mahasiswa untuk mampu menerapkan ilmu pengetahuan yang dipelajari kedalam produk yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi dan praktik langsung. Hasil kegiatan berupa peningkatan ilmu pengetahuan, wawasan, dan keterampilan peserta dalam membuat miniatur kapal nelayan berbasis fiberglass. Dalam proses kegiatan, peserta menunjukkan antusias yang tinggi.

Abstract

The purpose of developing this start-up is to organize the collection of waste in the community, in the form of plastic and glass waste. This waste will be managed at the Self-Realization Waste Bank to become new, more valuable products. Plastic waste will be shredded into smaller pieces and melted. The melted plastic will then be transformed into paving blocks. Meanwhile, glass waste will be crushed into artificial sand, which will also be used to make paving blocks. The collection of plastic waste and glass waste is organized through a web-based start-up that can be accessed by the general public. The method used involves socializing the program and practicing product manufacturing. The results of the activities show that partners can operate the developed start-up and can already create products from plastic waste and glass waste. Partners can also transform glass waste into artificial sand. Products produced from plastic waste and glass waste can be used as surface covers for pedestrian paths and parking areas.

Abstract

Pada daerah Kepudiwetan, cukup banyak SDM yang masih masa usia produktif. Peluang untuk merintis usaha baru cukup berpeluang. Dengan dorongan yang positif, telah muncul kesadaran diri sebagai motor penggerak, berani megambil resiko, mempunyai juwa kepemimpinan dan dapat memeberikan perubahan untuk kesejahteraan dan kemajuan masyarakat. Program kewiausahaan merupakan salah satu altertatif yang dapt dilakukan yang bertujuan untuk memerikan perubahan kesejahteraan dan kesehatan, peningkatan finansial, perubahan social bagi warga sekitar. Program social entrepreuner muda ini bertujuan untuk membangun semangat  mandiri dalam berusaha dan mendorong  para warga khususnya pemuda  Dusun Kepudiwetan untuk tumbuh dan berkembang, sehingga pemuda setempat tidak hanya bekerja di tambak yang selama ini mereka geluti, bahkan  bermanfaat untuk  masyarakat sekitar dan mampu memajukan daerahnya. Proses pembentukan  kelompok petani tambak terpadu yang berjalan secara konsisten dapat dilakukan melalui suatu kemitraan yang melibatkan semua elemen masyarakat. Kemitraan dapat dibangun dengan melibatkan pihak pemerintah, swasta, tokoh masyarakat, lembaga non pemerintah atau LSM, serta masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

Background: Manajemen pengelolaan keuangan merupakan dasar yang harus diterapkan dalam setiap organisasi, termasuk dalam pengelolaan keuangan pada satuan pendidikan dan Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM). Namun, pengelolaan organisasi terutama pengelolaan keuangan secara syariah belum secara maksimal diterapkan di Desa Pasirlangu. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah agar warga masyarakat Desa Pasirlangu, Cisarua Kabupaten Bandung mampu mengelola keuangan sekolah dan UMKM secara profesional dengan berlandaskan prinsip-prinsip yang syariah. Metode: Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari: 1) perencanaan, kegiatan perencanaan dilakukan dengan melakukan koordinasi dengan kepala desa Pasirlangu dan pengelola UMKM di lingkungan Desa Pasirlangu. 2) Pelaksanaan, kegaiatan dilaksanakan di Desa Pasirlangu pada bulan Februari 2020 dengan melibatkan semua stakholder masyarakat. 3) Evaluasi dilakukan agar kegiatan dapat terlaksana dengan baik sehingga kegiatan dapat berjalan terus menerus dan konsisten. Hasil: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini terlaksana dengan baik berkat adanya dukungan dari semua lapisan masyarakat, yang terdiri dari tenaga kependidikan di sekolah dan pelaku UMKM. Hasil temuan di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa 70% pelaku UMKM telah berkategori baik dan sisanya 30% berkategori cukup. Sementara itu dalam hal pengelolaan keuangan berbasis syariah, persentasenya adalah kriteria baik sebesar 60%, dan 40% berkategori cukup. Kesimpulan: Peserta aktif mengikuti kegiatan dan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman mengenai pengelolaan organisasi dan keuangan.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPengembangan literasi Islami pada anak usia dini memerlukan kolaborasi antara sekolah dan keluarga. Namun, hasil observasi awal di TK Karya Cendikia, Bandung, menunjukkan beberapa tantangan, yaitu terbatasnya koleksi buku Islami, rendahnya pemanfaatan fasilitas perpustakaan, serta keterampilan orang tua dalam bercerita yang masih kurang. Kondisi ini menghambat tumbuhnya budaya literasi Islami berkelanjutan pada anak. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini dirancang untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut melalui pelatihan bercerita bagi orang tua dan penguatan perpustakaan sekolah. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi: (1) lokakarya interaktif dan pendampingan bagi orang tua untuk meningkatkan keterampilan bercerita; (2) perbaikan fasilitas perpustakaan melalui penataan ruang, penambahan koleksi buku Islami sesuai usia anak, serta penerapan katalog digital sederhana; dan (3) monitoring serta evaluasi keterlibatan anak dalam kegiatan literasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi orang tua dalam bercerita secara kreatif, meningkatnya minat anak dalam mengakses perpustakaan, serta bertambahnya ketertarikan anak membaca buku bertema Islami. Selain itu, perpustakaan menjadi lebih ramah anak dan berfungsi optimal sebagai pusat kegiatan literasi.Program ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi peran orang tua dengan dukungan kelembagaan sekolah dalam menumbuhkan literasi Islami anak usia dini.Kata kunci: Literasi Islami; Anak Usia Dini; Pelatihan Bercerita; Perpustakaan Sekolah; Pemberdayaan Orang Tua. ABSTRACTThe development of Islamic literacy in early childhood requires collaboration between schools and families. However, preliminary observations at TK Karya Cendikia, Bandung, showed several challenges: limited Islamic book collections, underutilized library facilities, and insufficient parental skills in storytelling. These conditions hinder the growth of sustainable Islamic literacy among children. This community service program was designed to address these issues by implementing storytelling training for parents and strengthening the school library. The methods included: (1) interactive workshops and mentoring sessions for parents to enhance storytelling techniques; (2) improvement of library facilities through spatial arrangement, enrichment of age-appropriate Islamic book collections, and the introduction of a simple digital catalog; and (3) monitoring and evaluation of children’s engagement in literacy activities.The results demonstrated increased parental competence in creative storytelling, greater enthusiasm among children in accessing the library, and heightened interest in reading Islamic-themed books. Furthermore, the library environment became more child-friendly and functional, supporting continuous literacy practices at school. This program highlights the importance of integrating parental involvement with institutional support in fostering early Islamic literacy. Keywords: Islamic Literacy; Early Childhood Education; Storytelling Training; School Library; Parental Involvement.

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of honorary teachers’ motivation in developing professional competence within the tension between a sense of calling and economic reality in the Indonesian educational context. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, the research explores the lived experiences and subjective meanings constructed by honorary teachers as they navigate economic uncertainty and limited access to professional development. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observations involving ten honorary teachers who graduated within the last five years and work in urban areas, and were analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal four major themes: teaching as a calling that provides intrinsic meaning, economic pressure and job insecurity that generate identity conflict, adaptive strategies employed to sustain professional competence development, and social support as a crucial source of motivation. These results highlight the complex interaction between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation within conditions of social marginalization and emphasize the role of structural and social support in sustaining honorary teachers’ professional commitment. The study contributes theoretically by extending motivation theory through the inclusion of existential dimensions and social capital, and practically by offering policy-relevant insights for designing more inclusive and responsive professional development and welfare programs for honorary teachers. Overall, this research underscores the importance of understanding teachers’ lived experiences to promote equitable and sustainable educational development.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a digital-based change management model to enhance vocational students’ work readiness in vocational schools. Rapid technological change and evolving industry requirements have intensified the mismatch between vocational graduates’ competencies and labor market expectations. Previous studies highlight that limited digital integration and weak change management reduce the relevance of vocational education. This research employed a qualitative case study involving school leaders, vocational teachers, industry partners, and students. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, and were analyzed thematically using Atlas. Ti 9. The findings indicate that effective digital transformation is shaped by six interrelated factors: the urgency for change, school–industry collaboration, continuous teacher competency development, technology-embedded curriculum implementation, systematic evaluation mechanisms, and graduate outcomes. These factors collectively strengthen students’ technical skills, digital literacy, and employment-readiness. The proposed model demonstrates that adaptive change management and active stakeholder involvement improve curriculum relevance and perceived employability. This study contributes theoretically by enriching perspectives on change management in vocational education and, practically, by offering a contextual framework for digital curriculum development. It recommends continuous curriculum updating, infrastructure investment, and sustained industry partnerships to ensure long-term workforce readiness.

Abstract

This study examines the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in supporting teachers’ learning administration and its implications for work efficiency and educational service quality in Karawang Regency. The research employs a qualitative literature review design, drawing data from national and international journals, academic books, conference proceedings, and relevant educational policy documents published over the last decade. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis, involving systematic literature selection, coding, categorisation, and theme development related to AI implementation, its impacts, and challenges in educational administration. The findings reveal that AI is utilised in various administrative activities, including grade processing, attendance management, electronic report card generation, academic documentation management, and real-time monitoring of student learning progress. The use of AI significantly improves teachers’ work efficiency by reducing administrative workloads, minimising data entry errors, and enhancing the accuracy and transparency of academic information. Consequently, teachers are able to allocate more time and attention to instructional planning and classroom learning activities. Despite these benefits, several challenges persist, such as inadequate digital infrastructure, disparities in teachers’ digital literacy, and concerns regarding student data security and privacy. Overall, the study concludes that AI integration in educational administration holds strong potential to improve educational service quality when supported.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze management  of  facilities at 2 Jonggol Public High School.. The availability and proper management of  facilities and infastructures can create an effective, efficient, and conducive learning environment. The research method used  was an approach through PLP (School Field Introduction) activities and an analysis of fascilities and infastructure management at 2 Jonggol Public High School, which includes planning, procurement, utilization,  maintenance, and suvervision. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research  subjects consist of the principal, vice principal, the division of facilities and infastructures, and educational staff. The result  show that  the management of facilities and infastructure  at 2 Jonggol Public High School has been implemented quite well through the stages of planning, procurement, utilization, maintenance, and supervision. The planning process is carried out by indentifying school needs based on priorities and budget availibility. Procurement of facilities and infastructurse is conducted gradually in line with school development. The utilization of available facilities show improvement in supporting the learning process, although there are still obstacles in the aspects of maintenance and equal distribution of facility use
