Abstract

Abstrak Lampu merupakan salah satu barang elektronik yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kebanyakan dari masyarakat, menggunakan lampu disaat malam hari. Namun, ada juga yang tetap menyalakan sampai saat pagi hari, ataupun tanpa berhenti. Contohnya disaat ingin bepergian banyak masyarakat yang tetap menyalakan lampu hingga saat kembali ke rumahnya. Dengan itu, Smart Switch dipilih sebagai salah satu produk dari S-LUCY. Kegunaan Smart Switch ini sangat membantu dalam permasalahan ini, user dapat mengatur timer pada fitting lamp yang ada pada rumah user sesuai dengan keinginan pengguna, sehingga dapat menghemat listrik secara efektif. Kinerja Smart Switch menerapkan sistem Internet of Things (IoT) agar lebih lebih efektif dan maksimal. Dengan menggabungkan konsep IoT, produk Smart Switch serta bantuan dari media website, dapat mempermudah user untuk mengendalikan atau mengatur dimanapun dan kapanpun dengan syarat harus terhubung ke koneksi internet. Produk S-LUCY Smart Switch ini sudah dapat dinyatakan berhasil setelah melakukan pengujian akurasi alat, pengujian utility serta pengujian Quality of Service (QoS), yaitu delay dan throughput. Hasil dari pengujian delay mempunyai rata-rata sebesar 58,19 ms, dan 1058,3 bps untuk nilai throughput. Kata kunci : Internet of Things , Smart Switch, Relay. Abstract Lights are one of the most important electronic items in everyday life. Most of the people, use lights at night. However, there are also those that keep it on until morning, or without stopping. For example, when they want to travel, many people keep their lights on until they return to their homes. With that, the Smart Switch was chosen as one of the products from S-LUCY. The use of this Smart Switch is very helpful in this problem, the user can set the timer on the lamp fittings in the user's home according to the user's wishes, so that they can save electricity effectively. Smart Switch performance applies the Internet of Things (IoT) system to make it more effective and maximized. By combining the concept of IoT, Smart Switch products and assistance from media websites, it can make it easier for users to control or manage anywhere and anytime with the condition that they have to be connected to an internet connection. This S-LUCY Smart Switch product can be declared successful after testing the accuracy of the tool, testing utility and testing Quality of Service (QoS), namely delay and throughput. The results of the delay test have an average of 58.19 ms and 1058.3 bps for the value throughput. Keywords: Internet of Things, Smart Switch, Relay.

Abstract

Abstrak— Perkembangan dunia telekomunikasi selalu berlangsung dengan cepat. Salah satu perkembangan tersebut adalah teknologi seluler generasi kelima atau 5G. Salah satu implementasi adalah penggunaan jaringan 5G privat yang dilakukan dalam bentuk sebuah proyek open-source virtualisasi 5G core network. 5G core network yang digunakan bernama Free5GC dan OpenAirInterface Keduanya menjalankan core dan access network dalam platform Cloud Computing yang deploymentnya dibantu dengan kontainerisasi Docker. Dari hasil pengujian Quality of Services yang dilakukan penulis sesuai dengan keempat parameter yang diukur yaitu Throughput, Delay, Jitter, dan Packet Loss. Penulis melakukan tes dengan tiga skema pengguna yaitu 1 UE, 3 UE, dan 5 UE yang dilakukan dalam waktu 15 detik. Hasil pengukuran Quality of Services dari kedua jaringan telah dilakukan dan pada jaringan OpenAirInterface dengan skenario 1,3, dan 5 UE didapat Throughput sebesar 1.5566 Gbps, 1.5103 Gbps, dan 1.4283 Gbps. Sedangkan Free5GC dengan skenario 1,3, dan 5 UE didapat 1.9782 Gbps, 1.8721 Gbps, dan 1.6591 Gbps. Untuk Delay OpenAirInterface didapat 0.1537 ms, 0.2002 ms, dan 0.2172 ms. Pada Free5GC didapat 0.1114 ms, 0.1491 ms, dan 0.1764 ms. Hasil untuk Jitter pada OpenAirInterface didapat 0.15379 ms, 0.20022 ms, dan 0.21728 ms. Sedangkan Free5GC didapat 0.11145 ms, 0.14911 ms, dan 0.17643 ms. Untuk Packet Loss di kedua jaringan didapat hasil 0% atau tidak ada. Abstract

The increasing density of data traffic leads to an increase in the demand for telecommunication services. Therefore, in this study, the LTE network expansion was carried out using a choice of frequencies of 700 MHz, 2100 MHz, and 2300 MHz. The analysis was carried out from the technical, economic, and sensitivity aspects. Sensitivity analysis was used to determine the minimum ARPU for each candidate frequency. This research was conducted using a case study of the city of Yogyakarta. Based on the simulation results, the average RSRP values for the three candidate frequencies are in the very good range. The SINR values for the three candidate frequencies are in the normal category and the throughput values are in the very good category. The techno-economic calculations of IRR, NPV and payback period for the frequencies of 2100 MHz and 2300 are included in a feasible business, while at a frequency of 700 MHz it is not feasible to do so. The results of the sensitivity analysis show that the frequency of 2300 MHz is a feasible frequency to be implemented for LTE networks with the minimum ARPU and the minimum number of users. This research can be used for the operator as a consideration for the implementation of other frequencies on LTE networks. Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) merupakan suatu inovasi multimedia dalam Pendidikan sehingga konten pembelajaran dapat ditampilkan lebih menarik jika dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensiona. Materi tematik tata cara sholat adalah materi yang wajib dipelajari oleh semua tingkatan peserta didik dalam mata pelajaran agama islam. Sholat merupakan sebuah kewajiban dalam agama Islam sehingga harus diajarkan secara dini. Selama ini, peserta didik dalam mempelajari dan menguasai materi tata cara sholat menggunakan metode membaca dan menghafalkan. Metode konvensional yang digunakan ini cenderung membuat peserta didik jenuh, mengantuk, suasana belajar tidak menyenangkan berakibat pada pemahaman yang kurang. Pada pengabdian masyarakat di SDQ Madani, tim dosen dan mahasiswa menggunakan media Augmented Reality pada materi Tata Cara Solat dengan memanfaatkan smartphone, tim dosen membuat aplikasi Augmented Reality dan buku penanda Augmented Reality tersebut yang nantinya akan terproyeksikan objek secara 3D di aplikasi tersebut dengan mengarahkan kamera pada penanda di buku . Buku ini dan aplikasi ini kami beri nama Belajar Bersama AR (BEBAR). Pengabdian masyarakat yang telah dilakukan mendapatkan feedback yang baik dengan nilai 100%, artinya tujuan PKM ini sudah tercapai dengan baik.Kata Kunci: Augmented Reality, 3 Dimensi, BEBAR, , sholat, islam.

Abstract

The central idea of the research is to improve the efficiency and sustainability of data centers by implementing accurate capacity planning, which will also improve their performance and availability. Various literature reviews have been conducted to understand the current status of capacity planning implementation in different domains and perspectives. However, a more organized and systematic approach is required to map research and implementation results in the relevant areas of capacity planning that have the potential for further development. The present study aims to fill this gap by conducting a systematic mapping study that combines both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. The quantitative approach involved the collection of literature and the classification of topics using the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) method. On the contrary, the qualitative approach used content analysis to identify future research directions based on keyword trends and topics. The PRISMA framework was followed to guide the search for relevant studies in electronic research literature databases. The mapping results revealed 15 topics, with topics 8, 10, 11, and 15 showing significant potential for further research and exhibiting increasing trends. The identified topics encompass capacity planning, energy and resource management, computing and technology, data analysis and statistics, engineering, and industry, all crucial for businesses and industries to operate efficiently and sustainably. This study provides a comprehensive overview of the state of capacity planning implementation and highlights areas that require further investigation.

Abstract

Saat ini, dalam dunia telekomunikasi, (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) WiMaX merupakan teknologi nirkabel yang menyediakan hubungan jalur lebar dalam jarak jauh, memiliki kecepatan akses yang tinggi dan jangkauan yang luas serta menyediakan berbagai macam jenis layanan. Masalah yang menarik dan menantang pada WiMaX adalah dalam hal menyediakan jaminan kualitas pelayanan (QoS) untuk jenis layanan yang berbeda dengan bermacam-macam kebutuhan QoS-nya. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan QoS tersebut, maka diperlukan suatu algoritma penjadwalan. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan simulasi jaringan WiMaX menerapkan algoritma penjadwalan dengan metode homogeneous algorithm dan hybrid algorithm. Perwakilan pada metode homogeneous algorithm akan menggunakan algoritma penjadwalan Weighted Fair Queuing (WFQ) dan Deficit Round Robin (DRR), sedangkan pada metode hybrid algorithm menggunakan penggabungan antara algoritma penjadwalan DRR dan WFQ. Pengujian kinerja algoritma penjadwalan tersebut dilakukan dengan membandingkan kedalam 5 jenis kelas QoS pada WiMAX yaitu UGS, rtPS, nrtPS, ertPS, dan Best Effort. Dari hasil pengujian, hybrid algorithm memberikan nilai QoS yang lebih baik jika dibandingkan dengan homogeneous algorithm. hybrid algorithm sangat cocok jika diterapkan pada kondisi jaringan yang memiliki trafik dengan paket data yang bervariasi, karena dapat menghasilkan throughput yang tinggi, serta dapat menghasilkan nilai delay dan jitter yang rendah

Abstract

IEEE 802.16e-2005 teknologi mobile WiMAX merupakan salah satu alternatif yang dapat memberikan datarate 15 Mbps yang lebih baik daripada teknologi 3G, WLAN, dan lain-lain. Mobile WiMAX juga memberikan cakupan area yang luas. Oleh karena itu, WiMAX mampu memberikan layanan berbagai macam aplikasi multimedia seperti VoIP, IPTV, Video conferencing. dan aplikasi real-time lainnya. Selain itu, Mobile WiMAX juga mendukung mobility secara portable, mobile, dan nomadic. Saat ini IPTV muncul pada mobile phone, yang dinamakan mobile TV dimana layanan IPTV akan dapat diakses dalam keadaan bergerak. Hal itu membutuhkan suatu teknologi yang mendukung mobility namun tetap dapat menerima layanan IPTV dengan baik. Teknologi mobile WiMAX adalah teknologi yang cocok untuk mendukung layanan IPTV khususnya untuk user yang sedang bergerak. Akibat dari user yang bergerak maka memungkinkan user tersebut melakukan handover. Penelitian ini menganalisis parameter unjuk kerja yang mempengaruhi pada mobile TV saat user melakukan handover pada jaringan mobile WiMAX seperti jitter, end to end delay, throughput, handover delay dengan skenario perbedaan kecepatan dan perubahan jumlah user dalam satu cakupan area. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi untuk skenario perbedaan kecepatan (maksimum 100 km/jam) diperoleh nilai end to end delay sebesar 23.234 ms, jitter sebesar 0.047 ms, throughput sebesar 637.723 Kbps. Sedangkan skenario jumlah user diperoleh nilai end to end delay 27.218 ms, jitter sebesar 0.057 ms, throughput sebesar 558.881 Kbps. Hasil dari kedua skenario menunjukkan bahwa saat kecepatan dan jumlah user naik maka parameter kualitas layanan turun namun masih memenuhi syarat kualitas layanan Mobile TV (IPTV).

Abstract

The improvement of Long Term Evolution (LTE) radio access network services is affecting the increased value of traffic load in its network, which is causing traffic unbalance between cells in LTE Radio Access Network (RAN). Users will be served with ineffective resource block allocation which will make the total of gained throughput are not optimal. A method is required to move network load from overloaded cells to underloaded cells in order to balance the resource block allocation optimally. By using NS-3.26 simulation, User Throughput Based (UTB) predictive Mobility Load Balancing (MLB) method is tested with RandomWalkMobilityModel for each user. This method produces an improvement of 2,29 % in average of total throughput of 63,33 % successful optimization.

Abstract

Equal Cost Multipath Routing (ECMP) is a routing application where all available paths between two nodes are utilized by statically mapping each path to possible traffics between the source and destination hosts in a network. This configuration can lead to congestion if there are two or more traffics being transmitted into paths with overlapping links, despite the availability of less busy paths. Software Defined Networking (SDN) has the ability to increase the dynamicity of ECMP by allowing the controller to monitor available bandwidths of all links in the network in real-time. The measured bandwidth is then implemented as the basis of the calculation to determine which path traffic will take. In this research, an SDN-based ECMP application that can prevent network congestion was made by measuring the available bandwidth of each available paths beforehand, thus making different traffics transmitted on non-overlapped paths as much as possible. The proposed scheme increased the throughput by 14.21% and decreased the delay by 99% in comparison to standard ECMP when congestion occurs and has 75.2% lower load standard deviation in comparison to round-robin load balancer.

Abstract

Virtualization technology is slowly being used to build network infrastructure called Network Function Virtualization (NFV). It takes network functions such as firewall, load balancer, IPS out of its hardware then uses its software to be run on high specification server. It helps to reduce vendor lock-in and creates a multiplatform network function environment for telecommunication or Internet Service Provider (ISP) company. It has a lot of benefits compared to a traditional network. One of them is reducing the number of hardware that is used in the telecom industry. This technology runs on the hypervisor that is used for the hardware management. One of the important components from NFV is Virtualized Network Function (VNF). In NFV, network devices are run on a server so that a firewall is needed. If an attack occurs on the network, it will interfere the existing network components. This paper focuses on analyzing the performance of two firewall systems: pfSense, and FortiGate. Both firewalls run on the VMware ESXi hypervisor. It compares the firewall performance in normal conditions without attacks and under SYN DoS attacks. Besides, firewall failover capabilities are evaluated. Based on the overall testing results, FortiGate has better performance than pfSense. It has better ability in handling DoS SYN attack because of lower throughput performance degradation and better FTP performance. It is concluded that FortiGate has best performance if it is compared to pfSense.
