Abstract

Penelitianini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Penerapan konsep aljabar matematika dalam menyelesaikan masalah faraidh ditinjau dengan teori Polya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan melibatkan 6 siswa XI yang dipilih berdasarkan saran dari guru dan sesuai kategori yaitu : (1) siswa pada kategori tinggi, (2) siswa dengan kategori sedang, dan (3) siswa dengan kategori rendah. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa siswa pada kategori tinggi mampu menyelesaikan soal dengan benar. Siswa dalam kategori sedang mampu menyelesaikan soal dengan benar tetapi siswa kesulitan menyelesaikan soal dengan kata-kata rumit atau bahasa yang tidak biasa ditemui siswa. Siswa pada kategori rendah hanya mampu menyelesaikan soal tetapi tidak dengan langkah-langkah yang benar

Abstract

The low of student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects is caused by a lack of student involvement and the conventional methods used by the teacher. Therefore the need for creativity and mathematical habits of mind to be able to improve learning outcomes. To improve creativity and mathematical habits of mind, learning methods are needed that can stimulate student’s creativity and mathematical habits of mindwith Creative Problem Solving (CPS)models assisted by visual media. The aims of this study was to determine the increase in student’s creativity and mathematical habits of mindby applying CPS models assisted by visual media in grade X MA Al-Kautsar NW RebanBurung Academic Year 2018/2019. This type of research was classroom action research conducted in two cycles. In the first cycle obtained the level of creativity of students was 2.78, and for the percentage of students' mathematical habits of mind was 63.63%, and the percentage of classical completeness was 75%. While in the second cycle there was an increase in the level of student creativity to 3.07, and for the percentage of students mathematical habits of mind increased to 82.25%, the percentage of classical completeness reached 95% and had fulfilled the KKM.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning activeness of students in grade X of MA Al-Ma’Arif Academic Year 2017/2018 by applying generative learning. The type of research used was classroom action research (CAR). This research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. There were 2 meetings for each cycle. The average value of learning activeness data of student in the first cycle were 35.8 and 40.6 (first and second meetings), with categories of dislike and hesitation. And in the second cycle were 53.2 and 63.2 with categories of hesitation and likes. Thus it could be concluded that by applying generative learning can improve student learning activeness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kritis dan kreatif matematik siswaMTsNegeri 1Jonggat dengan pembelajaran TASC (Think, Actively, and Social Context) pada materi segitiga karena di MTs N 1 Jonggat pembelajaran matematika yang mereka rasakan kurang bermakna. Masih ada guru, pada saat pembelajaran matematika tidak mengaitkan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, padahal mengaitkan pengalaman kehidupan nyata siswa dengan idea-idea matematika dalam pembelajaran di kelas penting dilakukan agar pembelajaran lebih bermakna bagi siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, tiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, evaluasi dan refleksi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes untuk mengukur kemampuan berfikir kritis dan kreatif matematika siswa MTsN 1 jonggat pada materi segitiga. Dan wawancara dilakukan untuk melakukanproses triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada siklus 1 ada 6 dari 22 siswa yang tidak tuntas. Sedangkan pada siklus 2 semua siswa tuntas. Oleh karena itu pembelajaran dengan mode TASC mampu menumbuhkan rasa ingin tahu (inquiri),  pembiasaan bertanya, kemampuan menyampaikan pendapat, kerja sama sosial dalam belajar sehingga terbentuk budaya berpikir (cultural thinking) siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was determine the effect of application of lattice multiplication method to overcome the difficulties of completing mathematical multiplication and anxiety operations in grade VIII of SMPN 7 Pujut. The method used in this study was  pre-experimental research method with one group pre and posttest design research design. The sample of this study was representative of students from each class in grade VIII of SMPN 7 Pujut, it was recommended by mathematics teachers because they had difficulty completing multiplication operations, about 20 students. Based on the results of the study, the mean difference in the percentage of the initial results mathematical anxiety questionnaire with the final result was from 56.37% decreased to 42.65%, which were both still in the sufficient category. Furthermore, by testing the hypothesis using the t test (paired sample t test) assisted by SPSS 16.0 obtained data tcount = 0,000 and with a = 5% = 0.05 obtained ttable = 1.729 which means tcount  ttable. These results indicate that there were significant differences between the results of the test before applying the lattice multiplication method (pretest) with the results after the application of the lattice multiplication method (posttest) obtained by students. Thus it can be concluded that there was a rejection of H0 so that Ha is accepted, where Ha reads: there was an effect of the application of lattice multiplication method to overcome the difficulties of completing mathematical multiplication and anxiety operations in grade VIII of SMPN 7 Pujut.

Abstract

The problem and challenge of learning mathematics in West Lombok in particular and Indonesia in general is the low ability of students' mathematical literacy. The findings of researchers in the field are that students' understanding of mathematics is a standard procedure for solving routine problems. Students have difficulty solving problems in the form of mathematical applications in everyday life. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve students' abilities in the process of constructing, simplifying, and compiling mathematical models, as well as their use in solving everyday problems. One thing that can be done is to simplify the mathematical concept into a series of activities in accordance with the sequence of students' knowledge development by using environmental media as a learning medium. Such a learning concept is scientific learning based on local wisdom. The purpose of this research is to produce scientific learning tools based on local wisdom that can improve the mathematics literacy skills of SMP / MTs students in West Lombok Regency. This type of research is Development Research. This research procedure carried out by referring to the 4-D Model, namely the Define stage, the Design stage, the Develop stage, and the Disseminate stage. The results of the validation show that local wisdom-based scientific learning tools are in the very valid category. The test results show that local wisdom-based scientific learning tools are very effective in improving the mathematics literacy skills of SMP / MTs students in West Lombok.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses berpikir siswa ditinjau dari Wallas dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika dengan pokok bahasan Sistem Persamaan Linier Dua Variabel di kelas VIII MTs NW Lingsar Tahaun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Lokasi  penelitian ini adalah di MTs NW Lingsar. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 6 orang siswa yang memiliki kategori tinggi, sedang dan rendah berdasarkan nilai akhir ulangan semester pada matappelajaran matematika.Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebnayak 3 nomor soal essay pada mataeri Sistem Persamaan Linier Dua Variabel yang berbentuk soal cerita. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa memberikan tes, wawancara serta dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan untuk menggali informasi yang lebih mendalam terkait dengan hasil tes tertulis siswa sebelumnya. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan 3 tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dari keseluruhan subjek baik kategori tinggi, sedang dan rendah pada proses persiapan, inkubasi, dan iluminasi siswa mampu memenuhi prose 3 indikator sedangkan di tahap proses verifikasi hanya S1 yang mampu memberikan proses yang benar, sedangkan subjek lain tidak bisa berdasarkan dari teori Wallas

Abstract

Dalam menghadapi tuntutan kompetensi abad ke-21, terutama kemampuan berpikir kreatif, proyek pengabdian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan mendampingi penerapan modul pembelajaran matematika berbasis prinsip deep learning bagi guru di SMPN 1 Narmada. Intervensi dilakukan melalui dua fase: pelatihan tatap muka (in-service) dan pendampingan jarak jauh (on-service). Pada fase in-service, 60 guru diperkenalkan pada teori dan praktik deep learning serta strategi pengembangan berpikir kreatif, sekaligus diarahkan merancang modul ajar matematika. Pada fase on-service, guru mendapatkan mentoring digital saat menyempurnakan modul mereka. Berbeda dari pendekatan pelatihan guru konvensional, kegiatan ini menggabungkan fase pelatihan tatap muka dan pendampingan daring berbasis prinsip deep learning yang kontekstual. Meskipun berbagai pelatihan guru telah dilakukan sebelumnya, belum tersedia model pengabdian yang secara terpadu mengombinasikan deep learning, kreativitas matematis, dan skema pendampingan berkelanjutan, sehingga pendekatan ini menawarkan kontribusi baru dalam penguatan kapasitas guru. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 85% guru berhasil mengintegrasikan prinsip deep learning dan indikator berpikir kreatif (tugas multi-solusi, konteks budaya, refleksi siswa) dalam modul pembelajaran. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa dukungan berkelanjutan, desain kontekstual, dan bimbingan bertahap sangat penting dalam mewujudkan inovasi pedagogis di sekolah. Proyek ini berkontribusi pada pengabdian masyarakat dengan memberdayakan kapasitas guru dalam merancang pembelajaran kreatif berbasis deep learning. Untuk pengembangan selanjutnya, direkomendasikan evaluasi dampak langsung terhadap siswa serta perluasan model ke konteks sekolah lain.Kata Kunci: Pengabdian Inovatif; Deep Learning Pedagogi; Berpikir Kreatif; Desain Instruksional Matematika; Pengembangan Kapasitas Guru. Assistance in Developing Deep Learning–Based Mathematics Teaching Modules to Enhance the Creative Thinking Skills of Students at SMPN 1 Narmada Abstract In response to the demands of 21st-century competencies, particularly creative thinking, this community service project aimed to develop and mentor the implementation of mathematics instructional modules based on deep learning principles for teachers at SMPN 1 Narmada. The intervention was carried out in two phases: face-to-face training (in-service) and remote mentoring (on-service). During the in-service phase, 60 teachers were introduced to the theory and practice of deep learning and creative thinking, and were guided in designing mathematics learning modules. In the on-service phase, teachers received digital mentoring as they refined their modules. Distinct from conventional teacher-training approaches, this program integrates face-to-face instruction with online mentoring grounded in contextual deep-learning principles. Although various professional development initiatives have been implemented in Indonesia, there remains a lack of community-service models that simultaneously combine deep-learning pedagogy, mathematical creativity development, and sustained mentoring—representing a key gap that this project uniquely addresses. The results indicate that 85% of participants successfully integrated deep-learning principles and creative-thinking indicators (multiple-solution tasks, cultural contextualization, student reflection) into their modules. These findings highlight the importance of continuous support, contextualized design, and scaffolded guidance in enabling pedagogical innovation. This project contributes to community-service scholarship by empowering teachers to design creative mathematics learning grounded in deep-learning practices. Future work should include direct evaluation of student outcomes and broader implementation across diverse school contexts.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pedagogis guru matematika dalam mengembangkan perangkat ajar berbasis Ethno-STEM yang kontekstual dan berakar pada nilai budaya lokal. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra adalah rendahnya inovasi pembelajaran dan minimnya integrasi budaya lokal dalam perangkat ajar. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui model pelatihan dual-phase yang terdiri dari pelatihan in-service dan on-service dengan pendekatan deep learning. Metode ini memungkinkan guru untuk memperoleh pemahaman teoritis sekaligus menerapkannya dalam konteks nyata. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kualitas perangkat ajar yang dikembangkan, keterlibatan aktif guru, serta kemampuan mengintegrasikan budaya lokal dalam pembelajaran matematika. Selain itu, pendekatan Ethno-STEM juga terbukti mendorong siswa berpikir kritis, kolaboratif, dan terlibat aktif dalam proses belajar. Dampak jangka panjangnya terlihat dari peningkatan pemahaman konseptual siswa dan keberlanjutan praktik pembelajaran berbasis budaya oleh guru setelah pelatihan. Pengabdian ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam pengembangan model pembelajaran kontekstual di tingkat SMP serta mendukung pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs), khususnya SDG 4 dan SDG 11. Assistance in Developing Ethno-STEM-Based Learning Materials to Optimize Student Learning Outcomes Abstract This community engagement aimed to enhance mathematics teachers' pedagogical capacity in designing contextual Ethno-STEM-based learning tools rooted in local cultural values. The main issue faced by partner schools was the lack of innovation and cultural integration in lesson plans. The program was implemented through a dual-phase training model consisting of in-service and on-service training with a deep learning approach. This method allowed teachers to gain theoretical understanding while practicing it in real classroom contexts. Results indicated a significant improvement in the quality of instructional tools, active teacher engagement, and their ability to integrate local culture into mathematics learning. Furthermore, the Ethno-STEM approach encouraged students to think critically, collaborate effectively, and participate actively in the learning process. In the long term, the program fostered conceptual understanding among students and empowered teachers to continuously implement culturally responsive teaching practices.  This program provides a practical contribution to the development of contextual learning models at the secondary school level and supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 and SDG 11.

Abstract

Tebedu (Malaysia) as a form of representation of identity negotiation in the Indonesia-Malaysia border area. The method used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive-comparative type of research. The data collection was carried out through participatory observation and visual documentation carried out in the Entikong area, Sanggau Regency, West Kalimantan and Tebedu, Sarawak State, Malaysia. The collected data were then analyzed based on Landry & Bourhis' linguistic landscape concept which consists of informational and symbolic functions of linguistic markers of public space. The results showed that the linguistic landscape in Entikong represented symbolic messages such as nationalism, anti-corruption and anti-drug campaigns, hero honor, and the strengthening of the rupiah currency. In contrast, the linguistic landscape in Tebedu displays symbolic messages in a more limited form through directional markers, usage instructions, appeals, prohibitions, local cultural icons, and local political slogans. This difference confirms that Entikong makes language a means of state ideology, while Tebedu positions the language of the public space as a means of functional communication. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan lanskap linguistik di wilayah Entikong (Indonesia) dan Tebedu (Malaysia) sebagai bentuk representasi negosiasi identitas di kawasan perbatasan Indonesia-Malaysia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif-komparatif. Adapun pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif dan dokumentasi visual yang dilakukan di wilayah Entikong, Kabupaten Sanggau, Kalimantan Barat dan Tebedu, Negara Bagian Sarawak, Malaysia. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan konsep lanskap linguistik Landry & Bourhis yang terdiri atas fungsi informatif dan simbolis terhadap penanda linguistik ruang publik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lanskap linguistik di Entikong merepresentasikan pesan simbolik seperti nasionalisme, kampanye anti-korupsi dan anti-narkoba, penghormatan pahlawan, serta penguatan mata uang Rupiah. Sebaliknya, lanskap linguistik di Tebedu menampilkan pesan simbolik dalam bentuk lebih terbatas melalui penanda-penanda petunjuk arah, petunjuk penggunaan, imbauan, larangan, ikon budaya lokal, dan slogan politik setempat. Perbedaan ini menegaskan bahwa Entikong menjadikan bahasa sebagai sarana ideologi negara, sementara Tebedu memosisikan bahasa ruang publik sebagai sarana komunikasi fungsional.
