Abstract

Acute wounds are tissue injuries that are at risk of infection so they require good treatment and care. Aloe vera (Aloe vera L) contains glukomanan compound that are thought to be beneficial in the wound healing process. Spray preparations in the treatment of wounds can provide concentrared content, dry quickly, and easy to use. The purpose of this study was to examine the spray activity of Aloe extract as an acute wound healer in male balb/c mice. This research method is experimental research. The steps that have been carried out include maceration extraction from Aloe vera simplicia powder with 70% ethanol which is then thick extracted in freeze drying to powder extract. Aloe vera spray preparations are made with concentrations of 1%, 3% and 5%. Balb / C mice that had made full thickness acute wounds were divided into 5 treatment groups namely positive control (PC), negative control (NC), F1, F2, and F3. Mice were treated for 14 days then the wound ratio was calculated and analyzed with one way anova test followed by post hoc tukey cramer test. The results showed that the higher of the percentage of Aloe vera extract is the higher of the wound healing activity.

Abstract

Kaum Ahmadiyah meyakini bahwa wahyu jenis ketiga, yang disebut juga wahyu kenabian (wahyu nubuwat), telah mencapai kesempurnaan pada diri Nabi Muhammad saw., nabi terakhir, sedangkan wahyu dalam jenis yang pertama dan kedua tidak akan berkesudahan. Allah terus berfirman. dijelaskan bahwa cara Allah berkomunikasi kepada manusia melalui tiga cara, yakni dengan wahyu, dari balik tirai, dan dengan mengutus utusan. Cara pertama, secara teknis disebut ilham (isyarat yang cepat yang masuk ke dalam kalbu), cara kedua disebut kasyaf, ru’yah (visiun), cara ketiga disebut wahyu matluw (wahyu yang dibacakan oleh Malaikat Jibril). Wahyu jenis ketiga ini hanya diberikan kepada para nabi utusan Allah, sedangkan wahyu dalam jenis pertama dan kedua, yang disebut juga sebagai wahyu ghairu matluw atau wahyu khafi. Sedangkan Al-Banna berhasil menuangkan pemikiran-pemikiran Ikhwan secara mudah, ketika ia merumuskan tentang rukun baiat Al Ikhwan al Muslimun. Nasionalisme menurut al Banna adalah keharusan bekerja serius untuk membebaskan tanah air dari penjajah. Sedangkan Harum Yahya Menentang Marxisme, komunisme dan filsafat materialistis. Dia menekankan pentingnya menyanggah teori evolusi dan Darwinisme. Menuduh kaum Zionis melakukan rasisme dan menegaskan bahwa Zionisme dan Freemasonry telah menimbulkan banyak pengaruh negatif terhadap sejarah dan politik dunia. Namun belakangan, ia menjelaskan bahwa kecamannya secara khusus ditujukan pada Zionis yang ateis, dan ia menganjurkan toleransi terhadap Yahudi yang tidak ateis.

Abstract

Activated carbon  is an  absorbent  that  has  widely used  because it’s  high absorption  capacity. Necessity  to improve  the quality of activated carbon made from palm shells with low price and easy to obtain. The process of preparation and characteristics of activated carbon conducted in this research  using  physical activation  using  CO2  as the  activating agent.  Carbonization  and activation processes performed in a rotating  furnace  (rotary  autoclave) by flowing nitrogen gas (N2) at 100 ml/min and CO2 flow rate of 250 ml/min. Carbonization temperature 500oC was used with some variation of carbonization time, activation time and activation temperature. The results seen with activated carbon characteristics knowing  iodine numbers obtained  from any activated carbon  produced. Optimum  characteristics of  activated carbon  obtained  by  activation  at  750oC temperature,  the duration of carbonization and activation of activated carbon produced during 2 hours with 603 g / kg of iodine number.Keywords: Rotary Autoclave, iodine, Activated Carbon.

Abstract

Hydrogen is one of the promising renewable energy and potential subtitute for fossil fuels in the future. Hydrogen has short comings in its application as fuel is in storage. The study resulted in the capacity of hydrogen adsorption on activated carbon made from palm shells. Data were collected by volumetric method in the isothermal adsorption process. Adsorption isotherm temperature is performed at 45oC at pressures up to 30 bar. The maximum adsorption capacity at isotherm temperatures 45oC is 2.03x10-3 kg/kg mass of adsorbent at a pressure of 30.13 bar. Subsequently correlated the data obtained using the Langmuir model equation, Toth and Langmuir-Freundlich. Deviation from the Langmuir equation, Toth and Langmuir-Freundlich obtained was 16.72.77%, 15.97% and 9.79%.Keywords: Hydrogen Adsorption, Volumetric Method, Isotherm Adsorption

Abstract

The increase energy needs along with the times resulted in the availability of energy derived from fossil fuels thinning. Utilization of natural gas as a potential replacement for fossil fuels because of national gas production shows increase.Natural gas as a  replacement for fossil fuels constrained in the storage process,  storageis oftenusediscompressed  natural  gas(CNG) andliquefied naturalgas(LNG). CNG storage constrained at high pressure (20 MPa) and LNG constrained in gas liquefaction process that requires  extremely low temperatures     (-161.5°C).Adsorbed natural gas (ANG) is a solution to reduce the pressure in the tube of about 3,5 to 4 MPa by utilizing the process of adsorption using activated carbon.Adsorptionmeasurement use volumetric method (isothermal) at temperatures  25oC with 10 bar pressureand variation of the mass flow rate (10 standard liter per minute and 20 standard liter per minute).The purpose of this study was to obtain data of methane (CH4)  stored and out (stuck) on the storage and also to  see temperature phenomena that occur in storage.From the test results,  the massof methane storedat10SLPMis33,19gram and20SLPMis43,63gram.As for themethanegasthat isstuckat10slpm is7,09gramand20slpmis16,54369gram. Abstract

The limited fossil energy resources and high levels of air pollution led to increased exploration of new and renewable energy sources. Hydrogen has the potential to replace fossil fuels because there is abundant in natural and pollution-free air. The greatest problem in hydrogen is storage methods. Hydrogen storage by adsorption on activated carbon is the best method. Adsorption isotherms of hydrogen on granular activated carbon made from coal with a surface area of 885 m2/g has been implemented by using a volumetric method. Adsorption experiment has been tested at temperature of 45oC and the pressure up to 30 bar. Experiment data in the form of isotherms temperature and variations pressure were calculated to determine the adsorption capacity. Adsorption capacity data were correlated using adsorption isotherms equation of Langmuir and Toth. Adsorption isotherms equation that have result the smallest deviation is the best equation. From the experiment results, the maximum adsorption capacity is 100,91×10-5 kg/kg at isotherm temperature of 45,4°C and a pressure is 29,99 bar. The maximum adsorption capacity occurs at the maximum pressure. Correlation data of adsorption isotherms using the Toth equation has the smallest deviation of 11,73%.Keywords : Adsorption isotherms, volumetric method, adsorption capacity, adsorption isotherms equation.

Abstract

Adsorption cooling system double bed with silica gel as adsorbent and water as the adsorbate is expected to reduce the use of refrigerant in the vapor compression system that utilizes refrigerant chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) and hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC) that could potentially damage the ozone layer and increase global warming. This study aims to increase the value of the COP (Coeficient Of Performance) and SCP (Specific Cooling Power) adsorption cooling system double bed by testing. The method in this research is by means of heat and mass recovery time of the system. Methods of heat recovery time is done to improve the performance of adsorption double bed system-water pair silica gel as adsorbent-adsorbate. Based on test data and calculations are obtained, the lowest temperature of the water coming out of the evaporator is 12.57 0C with a change in average highest temperature was 2.440C. The highest COP value of the adsorption cooling system amounted to 0.49 in heat hecovery time 40 s and cycle time 500 s.Keywords: adsorption, heat recovery, cooling system, silica gel.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the economic level of different parents has a relationship with the learning achievement of fifth grade students in SD Gugus 4, Sibulue District, Bone Regency. Because parents who have a high economic level can meet the school needs of their children, as well as parents with lower economic levels do not pay attention to the school needs of their children because many basic needs must be met. The approach used in the research is a quantitative approach. The type of research used is descriptive research that is correlational. The data analysis technique used is Jaspen's correlation analysis technique. The results showed that the economic level of the parents of fifth grade elementary school students in Sibulue District, Bone Regency, was in the middle category or middle class, namely 57 students with a percentage of 85.07%. The learning achievement of fifth graders of SD Cluster 4, Sibulue District, Bone Regency is in the medium category, namely 45 students with a percentage of 67.16%. Then based on the results of inferential statistical analysis using the jaspen correlation of rcount (0.4182) rtable (0.2027) thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. From the results of the study, it was concluded that there was a significant relationship between the economic level of parents and the learning achievement of fifth grade elementary school students, Sibulue District, Bone Regency.

Abstract

Plasma jet non thermal has benefit in wound healing, but less control can to accumulation of reactive oxygen species. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the combination of plasma jet and A. vera spray 1% for wound healing in diabetic wounds mice model with parameters of malondialdehyde levels, the skin wound ratio, and blood profile. This study used male Balb/C were induced by a streptozotocin (STZ) and divided into 4 groups, namely groups of untreated diabetic mice wounds (N), groups of diabetic mice wound with A. vera spray 1% (Av), groups of diabetic mice wound with plasma jet non thermal at distance of 20 mm for 3 minutes (P), and groups of diabetic mice wound with plasma jet non thermal at distance of 20 mm for 3 minutes and A. vera spray 1% (PAv). The solution of A. vera spray 1% preparation consists of A. vera, DMSO, and aquabidest extracts. The wounds of all groups treated for 14 days then the malondialdehyde, skin wound ratio and blood profile were calculated by SPSS Statistic. The results of blood glucose before treatment were 241.74 dL ± 51.99. The combination of plasma jet and A. vera spray 1% groups were significant (p <0.05) in reduce malondialdehyde levels, reduced the the skin wound ratio but not different significantly (p> 0.05), and not effect on blood profile data (p> 0.05). In conclusion, A. vera spray 1% can reduce the side effects of plasma jet in diabetic wounds by reducing malondialdehyde levels.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of mathematics subject matter for class VIII SMP Negeri 12 Poleang Barat based on discriminatory power and level of difficulty. This research is categorized as descriptive research. Techniques used to collect data are interviews and documentation. The data analysis conducted in this study consisted of an analysis of the level of difficulty, and an analysis of discriminating power. Based on the results of research and discussion of item analysis which includes the level of difficulty and distinguishing power on the Final Even Semester Final Assessment Essay for Mathematics Subject Class VIII SMP Negeri 12 Poleang Barat for the 2020/2021 academic year. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that from a total of 5 essay questions in terms of the level of difficulty, it shows that the final assessment items for the even semester class VIII mathematics subjects have a level of difficulty which states that there are 2 items that are considered difficult (6%), questions that are difficult. including the medium category there are 2 questions (27%), and the questions that are included in the easy category have 1 question (43%). Meanwhile, in terms of discriminatory power, it states that as many as 2 questions (18%) have poor discriminatory power, 1 question (23%) has moderate discriminatory power, 1 question (54%) has very strong discriminating power.
