Abstract

Work motivation is a crucial factor in maintaining employee productivity and service quality, particularly in the waste management sector, which requires high levels of physical endurance, discipline, and responsibility. However, in practice, indications of low employee motivation are still observed, which are presumed to be influenced by inadequate work environment conditions and an organizational culture that has not been fully supportive. Such circumstances may affect the effectiveness of task implementation and the overall performance of the institution. This study aims to analyze the effect of the work environment and organizational culture on employee work motivation in the Waste Management Division of the Environmental Agency of Bandung Regency. This research employs a quantitative approach with descriptive and verificative research designs. The population consists of all employees in the Waste Management Division of the Environmental Agency of Bandung Regency, totaling 54 individuals. A saturated sampling technique was applied, in which the entire population was used as the research sample. Primary data were collected through questionnaires developed based on indicators of work environment, organizational culture, and work motivation, using a five-point Likert scale. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 26, including validity and reliability tests as well as multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that the work environment and organizational culture have a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation, both partially and simultaneously. These findings emphasize the importance of fostering a positive organizational culture and improving work environment conditions to enhance employee motivation and enthusiasm, particularly in the waste management sector.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih ditemukannya permasalahan kedisiplinan kerja, seperti ketidakhadiran dan keterlambatan karyawan, yang mengindikasikan rendahnya kepuasan kerja, motivasi kerja, dan komitmen organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepuasan kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap komitmen organisasi pada karyawan Perusahaan Transportasi Publik Kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif dan verifikatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada seluruh karyawan dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja, motivasi kerja, dan komitmen organisasi berada pada kategori cukup baik namun masih perlu ditingkatkan. Pengujian parsial menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi, demikian pula pengujian simultan menunjukkan pengaruh positif dan signifikan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kepuasan kerja dan motivasi kerja berperan penting dalam memperkuat komitmen organisasi, sehingga perusahaan perlu meningkatkan sistem penghargaan, lingkungan kerja, dan dukungan manajerial secara berkelanjutan guna meningkatkan kinerja karyawan dan kualitas pelayanan.   This study is motivated by ongoing issues of work discipline, such as employee absenteeism and tardiness, which indicate low levels of job satisfaction, work motivation, and organizational commitment. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of job satisfaction and work motivation on organizational commitment among employees of the Bandung Public Transportation Company. This research employs a quantitative approach with descriptive and verificative research designs. Data were collected through questionnaire distribution and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that job satisfaction, work motivation, and organizational commitment are at a fairly good level but still require improvement. Partial testing shows that both job satisfaction and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Simultaneously, the two variables also have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. The study concludes that improving job satisfaction and work motivation plays an important role in strengthening organizational commitment. Therefore, the Bandung Public Transportation Company is encouraged to continuously enhance its reward system, work environment, and managerial support to improve employee performance and service quality.

Abstract

Abstract In an era of globalization and digitalization that continues to develop, companies need to have employees who are able and can adapt to change. The role of employees, especially in marketing, is very important because they are an important driver in creating added value and maintaining the company's image in the eyes of customers. In recent years, EIGER Adventure has experienced changes in increasingly complex business dynamics, especially in the marketing division which serves as the front line in maintaining the company's good name in the midst of increasingly fierce competition in the outdoor retail industry. What can be seen is a mismatch between the targets set by the company and the real work of some marketing employees. This study uses a quantitative design with a survey approach, because this design allows researchers to test the relationships between variables objectively and measurably. The research method used is a survey method with a questionnaire as the main instrument. Leadership Style has a significant effect on the Performance of Eiger Adventure Marketing Division Employees, Work Environment has a significant effect on Eiger Adventure Marketing Division Employee Performance, Work Discipline has a significant effect on Eiger Adventure Marketing Division Employee Performance. So that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. This means that Leadership Style (X1), Work Environment (X2) and Work Discipline (X3) together (simultaneously) have a significant positive effect on the Performance of Eiger Adventure Marketing Division Employees.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk menguji pengaruh komunikasi, lingkungan kerja dan keseimbangan kehidupan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Tjoean Dharma Indonesia. Latar belakang studi ini mengacu pada fenomena quiet quitting yang merepresentasikan rendahnya motivasi kerja akibat kurangnya efektivitas komunikasi, lingkungan kerja yang kurang ideal, serta ketidakharmonisan antara urusan pekerjaan dan kehidupan pribadi. Pendekatan kuantitatif dipakai dalam riset, dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan verifikatif. Penghimpunan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner terhadap 150 sampel, teknik simple random sampling serta memakai rumus slovin, kemudian uji memakai teknik regresi linier berganda melalui SPSS 26. Luaran studi Menyajikan aspek variabel memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap performa kerja, dibuktikan oleh nilai KD sebesar 62,5%. Secara individu, hanya lingkungan kerja yang memberikan dampak nyata terhadap peningkatan kinerja, sedangkan komunikasi dan keseimbangan kehidupan kerja belum menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan. Implikasi dari hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa perusahaan perlu menekankan peningkatan kualitas lingkungan kerja, serta merancang strategi perbaikan komunikasi internal dan kesejahteraan karyawan untuk mendorong produktivitas secara optimal.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of social media marketing on consumer purchase intention for Compass, a leading local shoe brand, through the Shopee e-commerce platform in Bandung. Using a quantitative, descriptive, and associative approach, data were collected via an online questionnaire from 99 purposively selected respondents and analyzed with simple linear regression in SPSS. Results reveal that social media marketing significantly influences purchase intention (β = 0.376, p = 0.003), although it accounts for only 8.6% of the variance (R² = 0.086). Despite Compass’ growing popularity on Instagram—with over 1.2 million followers—the brand experiences declining engagement rates, highlighting a gap between social media visibility and actual e-commerce conversions. This finding underscores the importance of integrating engaging digital content with practical e-commerce strategies such as product availability, logistics, and customer service. For Compass and similar local brands, effective use of social media marketing should be complemented with analytics-driven personalization and seamless customer experience to convert online hype into sustainable sales.

Abstract

Employeee job satisfaction is a key factor in supporting company performance and long-term success, especially in West Java's non-bank financial institutions. These institutions face problems with employeee lateness, which shows low job satisfaction. This issue is likely caused by poor work discipline and low employeee motivation. This study aims to analyze the effect of work discipline and motivation on employeee job satisfaction. The method used is quantitative with descriptive and verificative approaches. There were 45 respondents, which is the total number of employeees at the West Java non-bank financial institution. The data was analyzed using multiple linear regression with statistical software. Results show that work discipline and motivation have a positive and significant effect on employeee job satisfaction, both separately and together. Work motivation has a stronger effect than work discipline. The study concludes that better job satisfaction can be achieved through consistent work discipline and ongoing motivation improvements.

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang efektif merupakan elemen krusial dalam mencapai target organisasi. SDM berkualitas unggul yang dapat menghasilkan hasil kerja sesuai dengan visi yang telah ditentukan menjadi kunci utama dalam merealisasikan tujuan perusahaan. Diperlukan tenaga kerja yang ahli dan mampu menyesuaikan diri dengan cepat terhadap perubahan kondisi kerja. Salah satu aspek vital dalam hal ini adalah tingkat kepuasan karyawan terhadap pekerjaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak motivasi kerja, kemampuan profesional, dan kedisiplinan kerja pada kepuasan karyawan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan verifikatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui distribusi angket kepada 35 partisipan. Teknik analisis melibatkan pengujian validitas, pengujian reliabilitas, analisis deskriptif, pengujian asumsi klasik, serta analisis regresi linier berganda menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa motivasi kerja, kemampuan profesional, dan kedisiplinan kerja secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Secara individual, hanya kemampuan profesional dan kedisiplinan kerja yang menunjukkan dampak signifikan, sedangkan motivasi kerja tidak memberikan pengaruh yang bermakna. Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,537 menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel bebas tersebut dapat menjelaskan 53,7% variasi dalam kepuasan kerja karyawan, dengan sisa variasi dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain. Implikasi penelitian menyarankan bahwa perusahaan harus lebih menekankan upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan profesional dan kedisiplinan kerja karyawan sebagai strategi untuk menaikkan tingkat kepuasan kerja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya sumber daya manusia sebagai penggerak utama dalam mencapai tujuan perusahaan, di mana lingkungan kerja dan kepemimpinan merupakan faktor penting yang memengaruhi kinerja karyawan, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan antara lingkungan kerja, kepemimpinan, dan kinerja karyawan di PT Daese Garmin, mengingat lingkungan kerja yang kurang kondusif serta kepemimpinan yang tidak baik dapat menurunkan kinerja dan kualitas kerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap populasi seluruh karyawan PT Daese Garmin dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 responden yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik probability sampling, di mana teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dan analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas, dan uji korelasi Spearman's rho dengan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan memiliki hubungan yang kuat dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, selain itu lingkungan kerja dan kepemimpinan juga mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan satu sama lain, di mana temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja dan kepemimpinan berperan penting dalam meningkatkan maupun menurunkan kinerja karyawan, sehingga dengan lingkungan kerja yang baik serta pengelolaan kepemimpinan yang tepat, kinerja karyawan dapat meningkat secara optimal. Kesimpulannya, peningkatan kualitas lingkungan kerja dan kepemimpinan yang efektif sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan di PT Daese Garmin.
