Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the caregiver (pengasuh) in leadership innovation at Pondok Pesantren Al-Roudloh Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang and its impact on enhancing the religiosity of the students (santri) and the surrounding community. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the caregiver plays a central role in shaping the students' character through an approach that emphasizes role modeling, discipline, and independence. Leadership innovation is implemented through openness in activities that develop students’ potential and character formation based on traditional pesantren values. The main challenges include the young age of most students and the need to preserve the pesantren’s cultural heritage. Positive impacts of this leadership innovation are reflected in a more systematic management of the pesantren and increased student engagement in community activities. The study concludes that the charisma and leadership strategies of the caregiver significantly contribute to shaping an adaptive pesantren education system that remains rooted in traditional Islamic values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of principal leadership in encouraging innovation in educational institutions, especially in SMP Negeri 2 Peterongan. Educational innovation is an important factor in improving the quality of learning and adapting schools to the development of the times. In this context, the principal as a leader plays an active role in creating an atmosphere that supports the implementation of innovation in all aspects of the school, from curriculum development, technology-based learning, to self-development programs for teachers and students. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a case study. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, and school staff. The results of the study indicate that the principal at SMP Negeri 2 Peterongan applies transformational leadership that supports the creation of various innovations. Communicative, open, and collaborative leadership helps motivate teachers to innovate in learning and school management. In addition, the principal also has an important role in creating an innovative school culture by encouraging the active involvement of all related parties in designing and implementing new programs. This research is expected to contribute to the development of an effective leadership model in improving educational innovation at the secondary school level, as well as providing insight for other principals in implementing policies that support innovation in schools.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the strategies implemented by SDN Kalangsemanding Jombang in preventing and handling bullying cases. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was performed using interactive analysis techniques. The results show that the strategies implemented by the school include three main aspects: preventive, intervention, and rehabilitative strategies. Preventive strategies involve anti-bullying outreach, strengthening religious values, and implementing strict disciplinary rules. Intervention strategies include counseling for victims and perpetrators, as well as conflict resolution based on mediation. Rehabilitative strategies focus on psychological support and character development to change student behavior. It can be concluded that the combination of strategies implemented at SDN Kalangsemanding Jombang is effective in reducing bullying cases. This research recommends strengthening supervision and increasing the involvement of parents and the school community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan inovasi guru dalam pemanfaatan media pembelajaran di SMPN 3 Jombang. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus, data diperoleh dari wawancara mendalam dengan tujuh guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya keragaman inovasi yang memadukan media digital (aplikasi edukatif, video), media tradisional, hingga metode praktik langsung yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik siswa dan materi. Dampak positifnya terlihat pada peningkatan minat belajar, pemahaman materi, dan keaktifan siswa. Kebaruan penelitian ini adalah temuan bahwa inovasi tidak hanya bersifat teknis, tetapi juga mengintegrasikan pendekatan pendidikan berbasis budaya lokal yang efektif. Inovasi didukung oleh fasilitas, pelatihan, dan komunitas belajar, namun terhambat oleh kendala waktu dan infrastruktur. Guru mengatasinya melalui strategi adaptif seperti kolaborasi dan penggunaan media sederhana. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman pengembangan inovasi media yang kontekstual dan berkelanjutan untuk menjawab tantangan pembelajaran abad ke-21.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to examine the implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system on the quality of teaching staff at SMK PGRI 1 Jombang. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using content analysis techniques. The research results show that the implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system has contributed positively to improving the quality of teaching staff at SMK PGRI 1 Jombang. Factors that support this implementation include the commitment of school leaders, the active participation of teaching staff, and the existence of a continuous monitoring and evaluation process. In conclusion, the implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system can be a strong foundation for improving the quality of teaching staff at SMK PGRI 1 Jombang. The recommendation from this research is the need for regular coaching and training for teaching staff to strengthen understanding and application of ISO 9001:2015 principles. Keywords: Quality Management System, ISO 9001:2015, Quality of Educators, SMK PGRI 1 Jombang, Qualitative Method.   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan sistem manajemen mutu ISO 9001:2015 terhadap mutu tenaga pengajar di SMK PGRI 1 Jombang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem manajemen mutu ISO 9001:2015 memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kualitas tenaga pengajar di SMK PGRI 1 Jombang. Faktor yang mendukung pelaksanaan ini antara lain komitmen pimpinan sekolah, partisipasi aktif tenaga pengajar, dan adanya proses monitoring dan evaluasi yang berkesinambungan. Kesimpulannya, penerapan sistem manajemen mutu ISO 9001:2015 dapat menjadi landasan yang kuat bagi peningkatan kualitas tenaga pengajar di SMK PGRI 1 Jombang. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya pembinaan dan pelatihan secara berkala bagi staf pengajar untuk memperkuat pemahaman dan penerapan prinsip-prinsip ISO 9001:2015. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the interrelationship of public relations management in increasing community participation in Islamic elementary school. An ethnographic study was used, with a comprehensive qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study; The planning of the work program in the field of public relations at Islamic elementary school has been carried out well, through a mechanism that is carried out at the beginning of each school year led directly by the principal. The principal conducts periodic evaluations of the Public Relations program, and it is carried out effectively and efficiently. Community participation is quite good and enthusiastic, by implementing a strategy of providing examples, maximum service, working sincerely, and establishing friendship.

Abstract

The lack of understanding of Tejo village apparatus, Mojoagung sub-district, and Jombang Regency in making and using village websites due to lack of support from human resources and existing infrastructure has an impact on the lack of awareness of village officials on the importance of using village websites as a means of village information. Only now, village apparatus knowledge regarding the creation and use of websites is still very lacking, so the dissemination of village information through websites has not been done. In this community service activity, a research team from Universitas KH. A Wahab Hasbulloh helped create a village website in Tejo village. In addition, the research team also held training for Tejo village officials to manage the website that had been made. With the creation and training on using websites in Tejo village, it is hoped that village programs and information about Tejo village can be accessed and socialised correctly. The method used in this activity is training in creating and operating village websites. The result of the training on the creation and operation of the Tejo village website is the creation of a village website and the skills of village officials in managing the village website properly and correctly.

Abstract

Students are individuals who participate in an educational program to develop their potential. School institutions play a crucial role in providing education for students. Vocational High School PGRI 1 Jombang is an institution that adheres to the SMM ISO 9001:2015 standard. The research aims to: 1) Understand the implementation of SMM ISO 9001:2015 at SMK PGRI 1 Jombang and its impact on the quality of students. 2) Identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing QMS ISO 9001:2015 at SMK PGRI 1 Jombang. The research employed a qualitative methodology with a descriptive approach. The methods utilized by the researcher include: 1) Observation, 2) Interviews, 3) Documentation. The results of the research at SMK PGRI 1 Jombang indicate that: The implementation of SMM ISO 9001:2015 is proceeding effectively, thereby enhancing the institution's quality and positively influencing student outcomes. Supporting factors include parental involvement, policies governing the ISO 9001:2015 system, the New Student Admission System (PPDB), student readiness, collaboration with the business/industrial sector (DU/DI), and the implementation of learning outcomes assessments. Inhibiting factors encompass parental circumstances, policies related to the ISO 9001:2015 system, the New Student Admission System (PPDB), student readiness, collaboration with the business/industrial sector (DU/DI), and the execution of learning outcomes assessments.

Abstract

The rise of juvenile delinquency, promiscuity and increased crime everywhere is a reality symptomatic of moral decline at the adolescent level that occurs in today's society. This raises the assumption that education has not been able to shape students into perfect personalities. This assumption makes education an institution that is considered a failure in shaping the noble morals of students. Even though the purpose of education is to form a person with character, dignity, faith, piety, and morality. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of spiritual education, student morals and the relationship between the two in grade XI social studies students at MA Hasan Muchyi Kapurejo Kediri. This study used quantitative methods. The results of this study revealed that spiritual education is a process carried out to guide the soul as an effort to improve the relationship with Allah SWT. While morals are the power of strength or nature embedded in a person's soul so that they become personality characteristics and encourage action to do an action. This study also shows the results that there is a correlation between spiritual education and student morals. This is based on the results of data analysis that has been carried out, namely: Spiritual education is in the medium category with a frequency of 30 students and a percentage of 56%. Student morals are in the medium category with a frequency of 26 students and a percentage of 48%. As well as the correlation between spiritual education and student morals, the results of = 0.586 were obtained which were in the position of 0.40 – 0.599 with a moderate level of relationship.

Abstract

The learning process is an indicator of the success or failure of a learning that is followed by students. A teacher can choose a learning pattern that is by the subject matter to achieve a predetermined goal. A systemic and systematic learning environment can grow and develop the abilities of students. This study aims to investigate the application of contextual learning in Aqidah Akhlak subjects and its impact on improving student learning outcomes. The research method used was a pseudo-experiment with a pre-test and post-test control group design. The research sample involved two groups of grade XI students at MA Sunan Ampel Nganjuk. The experimental group received learning with a contextual approach, while the control group received conventional learning. The results showed that the application of contextual learning in Aqidah Akhlak subjects significantly improved student learning outcomes compared to conventional learning methods. This research contributes to the development of learning methods in the context of religious subjects, especially Aqidah Akhlak. The practical implication of the study is that teachers may consider the application of contextual learning as an effective strategy to improve student learning outcomes in those subjects.
