Abstract

This study aims to assess the significant impact of the use of Android-assisted interactive learning media on student learning outcomes in social studies grade VIII at MTs Al Huda Pekanbaru. The research method used is the quasi-experimental method. The instrument used is a test to see student learning outcomes. The resulting data is statistically tested and analyzed descriptively. Based on the research conducted, it was found that the use of interactive learning media assisted by Android had a positive impact on students' academic achievement. The average score in the experimental class was proven to be higher compared to the average score in the control class, with the experimental class achieving an average score of 74.54, while the control class had an average score of 63.63. Based on the t-test results, the calculated t-value was 2.31, while the t-tabel value at a significance level of 0.05 was 2.018. Since the calculated t-value (2.31) is greater than the t-tabel value (2.018), it can be concluded that H1 is accepted. In conclusion, the use of interactive learning media assisted by Android has a significant impact on the learning outcomes of eighth-grade social studies students at MTs Al Huda Pekanbaru

Abstract

This study aims to develop the ABK-KU application as a digital instrument to support practical, accurate, and sustainable assessment of the development of students with special needs. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE  (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. Subjects in this study consisted of three expert validators, 16 teachers for the practicality test, and 36 teachers for the effectiveness test. Data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively using percentages and statistical tests of N-Gain Score and Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. The results of validation by material, media, and language experts show that this application has a high level of feasibility of 88.85%. The average percentage of practicality assessment of the ABK-KU Application obtained a percentage of 92% in the very practical category. The results of the pretest and posttest obtained the average N-Gain score of 0.8356 (83.56%), while the results of the Wilcoxon signed-rank test showed that Z count was -5.234 and the significance value was 0.001. These results show that ABK-KU is easy to use by teachers and can present child development data in a structured and systematic manner, and provide program recommendations from the assessment results automatically. ABK-KU is worth using as an alternative innovative solution to support the assessment of the development of students with special needs in special schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the flipped classroom model on student learning outcomes in Sociology class X at SMA Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung. This study is a quantitative research using a quasi-experimental approach. The population of this study is the 10th-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung. The sample consists of class XE.6 as the experimental class and XE.7 as the control class, each comprising 36 students. Data collection techniques use objective tests with 40 questions, and the obtained data are analyzed using the t-test. The results show that the average score of the experimental class is 76,38, while the average score of the control class is 65,13. Based on the t-test calculation, the t-count value is greater than the t-table value, which is 4.250 > 1.994, indicating a significant difference in learning outcomes at a significance level of α = 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the flipped classroom learning model has a significant effect on student learning outcomes in the Sociology subject for 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of a differentiated approach in the subject of Computer Science. This study focuses on how teachers plan, implement, and evaluate differentiated instruction, as well as identifying the challenges faced in the prosess. This researxh uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, classroom observations, and documentation. The research subjects incude an Informatics teacher and eighth-grades students. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source and method source triangulation. The teacher planned differentiated instruction by considering students’ characteristics, although the planning was still general. During implementation, the teacher applied student grouping and offered varied tasks. Evaluation was conducted through PH results, showing that moast students achieved score in the “fairly good” category. The planning and implementation of differentiated instruction were not yet optimal due to several challenges. Internal factors such as low student discipline, inappropriate behavior, and lack of motivation hindered effective learning. External factors, including inadequate school facilities sych as damaged computers and unstable internet connections, also disrupted the learning process.

Abstract

Higher education today faces various challenges and opportunities influenced by the development of technology and information. In this context, the utilization of learning resources becomes an important aspect to enhance the quality of education and support the completion of students' assignments. Students are expected to be able to utilize various learning resources such as e-journals, textbooks, e-books, as well as artificial intelligence-based tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity to support the completion of their coursework. This research aims to analyze the utilization of learning resources by students in completing their coursework. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research to describe the actual situation based on data obtained from a predetermined sample. The sample in this study consisted of 105 students selected using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Based on the data analysis results, the average percentage of resource utilization is as follows: e-journal 81.79% (very good category), textbooks 74.57% (good category), e-books 79% (good category), ChatGPT 83.67% (very good category), and Perplexity 82.1% (very good category). These findings indicate that students predominantly use digital resources that are considered practical, relevant, and efficient in completing their coursework. Although textbooks are still used, their usage is the lowest compared to other digital sources. Overall, the utilization of learning resources by students of the Educational Technology Study Program at FIP UNP has been effective, but improving information literacy is essential so that students can be more discerning in choosing credible sources that meet their academic needs.

Abstract

This research focuses on developing interactive multimedia based on the Android platform for the eyes Information Technology lessons in class X high school (SMA). In an era marked by the growing role of technology in education, this research aims to create innovative and engaging learning tools that fit the curriculum while leveraging the capabilities of Android devices. This research followed a systematic development process, including needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This multimedia content combines various interactive elements such as quizzes, simulations, and multimedia presentations to improve students' understanding and retention of information technology concepts.This study also evaluates the usability, effectiveness and satisfaction of both students and teachers with the Android-based interactive multimedia that has been developed. The findings of this research indicate that the use of Android-based interactive multimedia has been proven to be highly valid in terms of validity and practicality testing. This Android-based interactive multimedia has proven to be very suitable, both in terms of its content, appearance, and how it is used in accordance with the needs and characteristics of students. This research ultimately aims to improve the quality of Information Technology education at the high school level through the use of innovative Android-based interactive multimedia.

Abstract

The learning process results in students not actively participating in the learning process and students' creativity not developing because the learning process is still oriented teacher center or teacher centered. Teachers have not fully utilized existing teaching media, including multimedia, so that learning is not interesting and enjoyable for students. This research aims to develop interactive multimedia products as valid and practical alternative learning media so that they are ready to be used in the learning process. This research is development research using the Borg & Gall model which consists of stages, namely: (1) Planning, (2) Initial Product Development, (3) Product Validation, (4) Trial and (5) Product. The research subjects consisted of four respondents, two validators for media aspects and two validators for material aspects as well as 20 students at State Junior High School 1 Lubuk Basung in Natural Sciences subjects as a test of media practicality. The product validity test results for the material aspect are in the very good category with a percentage of 95% and for the media aspect they are in the very good category with a percentage of 94.88%. The results of the product practicality test based on the 2 stages of testing that have been carried out are in the very good category with a percentage of 92.4%. The results of this research show that the overall quality of the interactive multimedia developed is in the very good category with a percentage of 94.1%. From the results of all stages of interactive multimedia development using Macromedia Director declared suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya permasalahan yang muncul dalam penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di SMP Negeri 1 Pariaman selama dua tahun berjalan yaitu, (1) Kurangnya pelatihan Kurikulum Merdeka bagi guru yang mengajar di SMP Negeri 1 Pariaman; (2) Guru kurang memanfaatkan PMM (Platfom Merdeka Mengajar); (3) Siswa terbiasa belajar pasif; dan (4) Guru kesulitan menyusun Modul Ajar dikarenakan banyaknya komponen Modul Ajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan informasi yang berkaitan tentang implementasi kurikulum merdeka dalam pembelajaran berdasarkan (1) perencanaan pembelajaran matematika; (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika; dan (3) evaluasi pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Pariaman pada semester ganjil tahun 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang dilakukan reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Penyusunan perencanaan pembelajaran disesuaikan dengan karakteristik sekolah dan karakteristik peserta didik meskipun memiliki kekurangan komponen dalam perencanaan pembelajaran. (2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran Matematika berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka di SMP Negeri 1 Pariaman adanya ketidaksesuaian proses pembelajaran di kelas dengan Modul Ajar, pendekatan pembelajaran berpusat pada siswa belum diterapkan secara optimal dan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi tidak diterapkan. (3) Evaluasi pembelajaran Matematika berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka di SMP Negeri 1 Pariaman belum optimal, seperti penilaian diagnostik belum diterapkan oleh guru, penilaian formatif berupa pemberian latihan/tugas tidak sesuai dengan LKPD yang ada dalam modul Ajar sedangkan penilaian sumatif dilaksanakan di akhir proses pembelajaran waktu pelaksanaannya ditentukan oleh sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Pelaksanaan kegiatan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) dan Profil Pelajar Rahmatan Lil Alamin (P2RA) di MAN 1 Padang Pariaman. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Data yang diperoleh selama penelitian dianalisis dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Bentuk kegiatan pelaksanaan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) dan Profil Pelajar Rahmatan Lil Alamin (P2RA) di MAN 1 Padang Pariaman projek membuat poster (tema Bangunlah jiwa dan raganya). (2) Faktor pendukung diantaranya, menyediakan fasilitas dan anggaran dalam pembuatan poster, teknologi yang mudah diakses. Faktor penghambat diantaranya, kurikulum yang baru, dan perbedaan karakteristik siswa. (3) Dampak pelaksanaan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) dan Profil Pelajar Rahmatan Lil Alamin (P2RA) terhadap perkembangan karakter siswa kelas X di MAN 1 Padang Pariaman diantaranya: (1) Penguatan nilai-nilai pancasila dan Rahmatan lil Alamin (2) Meningkatkan kesadaran siswa, (3) Peningkatan kerjasama antar siswa.
