Abstract

This study aims to develop a STEAM–Project Based Learning (PjBL) student worksheet integrated with the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) on the topic of polyhedrons for junior high school students. The research employed a Research and Development (RD) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects were 35 eighth-grade students of SMP IT SDML and one mathematics teacher in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research instruments included material expert validation sheets, media expert validation sheets, and student response questionnaires. The validation results showed that the worksheet obtained a score of 89.6% from material experts and 91.7% from media experts, both categorized as very valid. The practicality test based on responses from 34 students resulted in a percentage of 91.18%, categorized as very practical. These findings indicate that the developed STEAM–PjBL worksheet integrated with P5 is feasible and practical to be used as a teaching material to support active and contextual mathematics learning.

Abstract

One of the important abilities in adolescent development is resilience because the social, biological, and psychological changes experienced by adolescents require them to be adaptive in dealing with problems. In this condition, they need self-compassion to accept all the external challenges related to problems with family, school, and an uncertain future. This study aims to determine the effect of Self Compassion on Adolescent Resilience. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Binjai. This research method uses non-test techniques in the form of a questionnaire (questionnaire). The sample of this study amounted to 86 XII students. The sampling technique was done randomly. This study used simple regression analysis to see how much influence SELF COMPASSION HAS ON YOUTH RESILIENCE IN STUDENTS AT SMA NEGERI 3 BINJAI. The results showed that self-compassion influenced adolescent resilience in SMA Negeri 3 Binjai students. This is indicated by tcount> table (33.205> 1.667) and p = 0.000. Furthermore, based on the results of the variable influence test, the R Square value is 0.929 (92.9%). This shows that self-compassion has an influence on resilience by 92.9%. Meanwhile, 7.1% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan sebuah kondisi gagal pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang dialami anak-anak akibat kurangnya asupan gizi dalam waktu lama, infeksi berulang, dan stimulasi psikososial yang tidak memadai, terutama pada 1.000 Hari Pertama Kehidupan (HPK). Dibandingkan dengan masalah underweight dan wasting, stunting menjadi masalah gizi yang paling serius.  Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Mahasiswa KKN STKIP Budidaya Binjai yang merupakan mahasiswa peduli stunting telah melaksanakan kegiatan ini dengan baik dan tepat sasaran dengan instansi terkait dan beberapa kegiatan seperti workshop/penyuluhan dan penyajian menú Dashat sehingga diharapkan dari kegiatan ini mampu memberikan sumbangsih dalam menurunkan angka stunting di Kelurahan Martoba Kecamatan Siantar Utara. Program ini juga berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya pola hidup sehat, asupan makanan bergizi, dan praktik pengasuhan anak yang sehat. Hal ini tercermin dalam partisipasi aktif ibu-ibu hamil dan keluarga dalam program, penerimaan informasi pendidikan tentang gizi dan kesehatan, serta pelaksanaan praktik sehat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kolaborasi antara mahasiswa dan TPK telah memperkuat kinerja TPK dalam mengedukasi masyarakat tentang pencegahan stunting. Selain itu, masyarakat juga telah meningkatkan kesadaran mereka tentang pentingnya pola hidup sehat, asupan makanan bergizi, dan praktik pengasuhan anak yang sehat. Program ini memberikan kontribusi yang berarti dalam upaya mencegah stunting dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup anak-anak serta ibu hamil di Kelurahan Tunggurono Kota Bin Martoba Kecamatan Siantar Utara.

Abstract

The low involvement and independence of students due to the use of conventional LKPD, which is less engaging, and the minimal integration of technology make it difficult for students to solve contextual problems. This study aims to analyze validity, assess practicality, and test the effectiveness of PBL-based E-LKPD assisted by Quizizz to improve students' problem-solving abilities. The method used is Research and Development, using the ADDIE model, and involves eighth-grade students at Khadijah Junior High School. Data collection methods use tests, questionnaires, and interviews. Data were collected through validity, practicality, and effectiveness tests, which were analyzed descriptively. The results show that the validity aspect obtained an average of 88% from material experts and 89.33% from design experts, both of which are categorized as "very valid". The practicality aspect reached 92.38% (individual test), 91.78% (small group), and 90.34% (large group), all of which are categorized as "very practical". Effectiveness based on the average N-Gain score of 0.83 (high category), stating that this media is effective in improving problem-solving abilities. Thus, the Quizizz-assisted PBL-based E-LKPD is a valid, practical, and effective mathematics learning innovation. This research implies that the Quizizz-assisted PBL-based ELKPD developed can help students understand the material well and also improve their problem-solving skills.

Abstract

Mathematics has an instrumental function in enhancing the quality of Indonesian citizens. However, as science and technology progress and the digital age intensifies, it has become imperative to modify the mathematical learning paradigm to align it with the demands of the 21st century. The research objectives were to ascertain the following: The study sought to answer three research questions(1) the difference in the improvement of mathematical critical thinking ability of students who are given problem-based learning with students who are given direct learning; (2) the interaction of learning with initial mathematics ability on the improvement of students' mathematical critical thinking ability; (3) the difference in the improvement of learning independence of students who are given problem-based learning with students who are given direct learning. The findings of the study can be summarized as follows: (1) students who received problem-based learning exhibited a greater improvement in their mathematical critical thinking abilities than those who received direct learning; (2) there was no interaction between learning and initial mathematical ability on the improvement of mathematical critical thinking abilities; (3) students who received problem-based learning demonstrated a greater improvement in their learning independence than those who received direct learning.
