Abstract

Memahami ide-ide sains dan menggunakannya untuk memecahkan masalah-masalah praktis dikenal sebagai literasi sains. Temuan PISA memperlihatkan kalau literasi sains siswa Indonesia berada dalam kisaran yang buruk. Kelangkaan sumber daya pembelajaran yang mempromosikan literasi sains adalah penyebabnya. Rasa ingin tahu ialah kualitas yang dapat membantu siswa menjadi pembaca yang lebih baik. Oleh karena itu, proses pembelajaran menuntut seseorang untuk memiliki rasa ingin tahu. Maksud dari proyek ini ialah guna membuat modul sains yang menekankan literasi sains dan menyoroti sifat keingintahuan dalam konten yang berkaitan dengan sistem gerak manusia. Materi pendidikan yang telah dipersiapkan menunjukkan ciri-ciri yang berakar pada literasi sains, yang dikelompokkan dalam empat kategori literasi sains, serta menampilkan karakteristik keingintahuan yang didasarkan pada empat indikator karakter keingintahuan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah model 4D, yang meliputi tiga tahap yakni definisi, perancangan, dan pengembangan. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi materi pendidikan untuk peserta didik. Dari hasil validasi oleh empat ahli, diperoleh nilai total validitas materi pendidikan sebesar 96,67%, yang masuk dalam kategori "valid tanpa perlu revisi".

Abstract

This study examines the integration of local wisdom, Islamic values, and early childhood engagement in the river-based traditional trade at the Lok Baintan Floating Market. The study delves into the enduring "Kuranglabih" principle rooted in the values of the Banjar community, which permeates traditional trade. This enduring principle, which harmonizes with traditional trade, undergoes examination through the qualitative case study approach. "Kuranglabih" denotes a term used in traditional trade at Lok Baintan Floating Market, describing a bargaining process centered on sincerity and generosity, devoid of causing harm to either the seller or the buyer. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation to produce a comprehensive record of cultural phenomena. The research instruments utilized in this study underwent a validation process to ensure their reliability and effectiveness in collecting data.The results demonstrate that the 'Kuranglabih' value imbues trading with 'mabrur,' echoing Allah’s virtuous principles, and has a positive impact on trading while aligning with virtuous principles. Early childhood engagement serves as a foundation for value transmission and the sustainability of cultural continuity within Banjar society. This study underscores early childhood engagement’s role in value transmission, nurturing sustainable cultural continuity within Banjar society. The study highlights this intricate interplay’s multi-dimensional nature of harmonizing local wisdom, Islamic values, and early childhood engagement at the Lok Baintan Floating Market.

Abstract

Critical thinking is increasingly important with the existence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) especially for college students. AI is not yet fully accurate in solving mathematical problems, so critical thinking helps students analyze and evaluate its answers. This study aims to enhance students’ critical thinking using PBL (Problem-Based Learning) with ChatGPT and GeoGebra. This quasi-experimental study with the pretest-post-test non-equivalent group design involved 47 subjects, 24 in the experimental group and 23 in the control group. The average pre-test and post-test of experimental (47.96 and 62.13) and control (55.48 and 54.26) groups were significantly different. The ANCOVA results showed that PBL with ChatGPT and GeoGebra significantly enhanced students’ critical thinking. Tukey’s test result showed that the difference between the experimental and control group was 14.88 which indicated that students’ critical thinking in the experimental group was higher than the control group. Furthermore, the treatment did not affect identify indicator, but had a positive effect on justify, inference, clarify, and strategy decision indicators. This demonstrates that PBL assisted by ChatGPT and GeoGebra enhances students’ critical thinking. The research has the potential to support lecturers in enhancing students’ critical thinking and improving innovative learning models where AI can be used in education with proper guidance and implications.Berpikir kritis semakin penting dengan adanya kecerdasan buatan (AI) khususnya bagi mahasiswa. AI belum sepenuhnya akurat dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika, sehingga berpikir kritis membantu mahasiswa menganalisis dan mengevaluasi jawabannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan PBL berbantuan ChatGPT dan GeoGebra dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika pada semester 4. Sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik cluster sampling dengan penentuan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol secara acak. Penelitian kuasi-eksperimen ini dengan desain pretest-post-test non-equivalent group melibatkan 47 subjek, 24 pada kelompok eksperimen dan 23 pada kelompok kontrol. Rata-rata pre-test dan post-test kelompok eksperimen (47,96 dan 62,13) dan kontrol (55,48 dan 54,26) berbeda secara signifikan. Hasil ANCOVA menunjukkan bahwa PBL dengan ChatGPT dan GeoGebra secara signifikan meningkatkan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Hasil uji Tukey menunjukkan perbedaan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol sebesar 14,88 yang mengindikasikan bahwa berpikir kritis mahasiswa pada kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Selain itu, perlakuan tidak berpengaruh pada indikator identify, tetapi memberikan pengaruh positif pada indikator justify, inference, clarify, dan strategy decision. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa PBL yang dibantu oleh ChatGPT dan GeoGebra meningkatkan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Penelitian ini berpotensi mendukung dosen dalam meningkatkan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dan memperbaiki model pembelajaran inovatif di mana AI dapat digunakan dalam pendidikan dengan bimbingan dan implikasi yang tepat.

Abstract

Asesmen merupakan bagian terpadu berdasarkan proses pembelajaran, kemudian temuat fasilitasi pembelajaran, serta penyediaan informasi yang holistik sebagai mana menjadi umpan balik terhadap peserta didik. Asesmen dirancangnya menjadi suatu keleluasan agar ditentukannya suatu teknik dan waktu dalam pelaksanaan asesmen sehingga menjadi efektif dalam tercapainya suatu pembelajaran didalamnya. Implementasi asesmen pembelajaran dan hambatan pada implementasi asesmen pembelajaran matematika dalam Kurikulum Merdeka di SMA Negeri 1 Kintap. Peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptis berdasarkannya metode penelitian kualitatif. Instrumen penelitian termuat berdasarkan lembar observasi serta pedoman wawancara. Peneliti menggunakan suatu teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi kemudian wawancara serta dokumentasi. Sedangkan peneliti ini menggunakan sebuah teknik analisis data berdasarkan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) sebelum melaksanakan pembelajaran di kelas guru menyiapkan modul ajar yang sudah sesuai dengan format modul ajar dalam kurikulum merdeka; (2) implementasi asesmen pembelajaran matematika yang dilaksanakan guru berbeda dengan yang ada di modul ajar; dan (3) hambatan yang terjadi dalam implementasi asesmen pembelajaran matematika adalah banyaknya jumlah siswa dalam satu kelas yang harus dinilai, kemudian guru masih kesulitan dalam menyusun instrumen asesmen dan juga kurangnya fasilitas sekolah sehingga dalam proses pembelajaran memakan banyak waktu.

Abstract

Permasalahan kemandirian siswa pada kurikulum merdeka mengakibatkan guru harus lebih adaptif dalam menilai hasil belajar siswa. Keberadaan penilaian belajar dengan tes formatif beracuan Self-directed Learning Oriented Assessment (SLOA) merupakan salah satu pendekatan penilaian yang dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran secara mandiri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan tes formatif dan menguji kevalidan, kepraktisan, serta keefektifan tes formatif beracuan Self-directed Learning Oriented Assessment di kelas V. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi, self-assessment dan angket respons guru. Kevalidan tes formatif dinilai dari hasil validasi oleh dua orang validator. Kepraktisan tes formatif diperoleh dari angket respons guru. Keefektifan tes formatif diperoleh dari hasil ketuntasan belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Validitas tes formatif termasuk kriteria sangat valid dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 91% (2) Validitas self-assessment termasuk kriteria sangat valid dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 98% (3) Kepraktisan tes formatif termasuk kriteria sangat praktis dengan persentase sebesar 100% (4) Keefektifan tes formatif termasuk kriteria sangat efektif diperoleh dari hasil ketuntasan belajar pada hasil ketiga tes formatif yang melebihi kriteria ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran (KKTP) yaitu 65 dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 86%. Dengan demikian, tes formatif beracuan Self-directed Learning Oriented Assessment ini valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research explores the integration of character education, specifically focusing on drawing inspiration from the abundant cultural wisdom embedded in Mamanda theater—an invaluable cultural asset in South Kalimantan. The central aim of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of utilizing Mamanda’s theater arts as a catalyst for collaborative character-building within the realm of education. The collaborative characters, symbolic of the harmonious dynamics inherent in the learning process, undergo evaluation through the implementation of a Likert scale. The research encompasses a cohort of 83 students, all actively engaged as respondents. The outcomes highlight the notably high effectiveness of incorporating Mamanda’s theater arts to facilitate the collaborative character-building endeavor. Beyond its immediate findings, this research contributes substantively to the ongoing academic dialogue surrounding character education. Moreover, it serves as a valuable resource for educators and lecturers, offering insights into the practical application of local wisdom, specifically through Mamanda theater, to instill character traits firmly rooted in cultural richness and educational excellence.

Abstract

This article is written to analyze the research trends regarding the integration of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in laboratory practical activities over the past 10 years (2014–2023). The method employed is Bibliometric Analysis, supported by the VOSviewer application. The analysis focused on titles and abstracts, encompassing 961 scientific articles from international journals indexed in Scopus over the last decade. Data collection was performed through searches using the keyword "Problem Based Learning in Laboratory Activities." The search results reveal network formation, overlays, and trend direction graphs over the past 10 years. The research yields the following data: 1) The total number of publication articles based on keywords is 961 documents, which are filtered down to 453 documents, 2) The country with the highest contribution to published articles is the USA with 194 documents, 3) Co-occurrence analysis shows variations in article topics with six clusters, and 4) Overlay Visualization indicates that articles on laboratory activities tend to focus on the learning system, student-related aspects, curriculum, and problem-solving

Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes meaningful learning processes supported by appropriate assessment practices. In mathematics learning, formative assessment is essential for monitoring students’ conceptual understanding and learning progress. However, existing practices remain predominantly teacher-centered and provide limited opportunities for students to engage in reflection and self-assessment, and studies integrating student-centered assessment approaches in senior high school mathematics are still limited. This study aims to develop a formative assessment based on Self-directed Learning Oriented Assessment (SLOA) for circle topics in senior high school that is valid, practical, and effective. SLOA is an assessment approach that promotes self-directed learning by integrating reflection, monitoring, and self-evaluation into the assessment process. This study employed a research and development approach using the ADDIE model. The study involved 26 grade XI students in one class at SMAN 7 Banjarmasin without a control group. The instruments included expert validation sheets, essay-type formative tests, self-assessment questionnaires, and a teacher practicality questionnaire. The results showed that the formative tests and self-assessment questionnaires were highly valid, with average scores of 3.50 and 3.46 on a 4-point scale. The practicality score reached 80%, categorized as very practical. Based on a minimum passing grade of 75 and a classical completeness criterion of 85%, the implementation results showed that 92% of students in the first test and 96% in the second test achieved mastery. These findings indicate that SLOA-based formative assessment is feasible and effective in supporting students’ self-directed learning and provides practical implications for mathematics teachers in implementing more student-centered assessment practices.

Abstract

Formative assessment practices in schools often focus on Assessment for Learning (AfL) but insufficiently facilitate Assessment as Learning (AaL), limiting students’ reflection and self-assessment. To address this, Self-directed Learning Oriented Assessment (SLOA) is employed as an approach integrating self-assessment to foster self-directed learning capacities by aligning the functions of assessment of, for, and as learning. This study aimed to develop valid, practical, and effective SLOA-based formative tests for junior high school mathematics. The study employed a research and development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model. The research was conducted in a single seventh-grade class at a junior high school in Barito Kuala under the Kurikulum Merdeka, involving 25 students and one mathematics teacher. Data were collected through expert validation sheets, a teacher practicality questionnaire, and students’ mastery of learning outcomes. The results indicated that the developed formative tests and self-assessment sheets were very valid, with mean scores of 3.47 and 3.36, respectively. The product was categorized as very practical, obtaining a practicality percentage of 98%. In terms of effectiveness, the product was categorized as effective, with an average classical mastery reached of 61.3%, derived from three test packages showing a consistent upward trend in student performance. The progressive increase in students’ mastery and metacognitive accuracy suggests that integrating structured self-assessment into formative testing supports learning achievement and reflective awareness. This study implies that SLOA-based formative tests can serve as a strategic framework to foster student independence, provided that they are implemented with adequate instructional time and systematic feedback cycles.

Abstract

Formative assessment practices in classrooms still focus on final outcomes and have not optimally encouraged students’ learning reflection. This study aimed to develop a valid, practical, and effective SLOA-based formative assessment on statistics of measures of central tendency for single data. The study employed the 4-D development model without the disseminate stage. The trial subjects consisted of 26 students of class XI-12 at SMAN 7 Banjarmasin. The developed product comprised four formative assessment packages in the form of essay questions equipped with self-assessment sheets, scoring rubrics, and answer keys. The results showed that the assessment was categorized as very valid with average scores of 3.57 and 3.75, very practical with 88%, and effective with an average completeness percentage of 88%.
