Abstract

The problem in several schools is that students experience learning loss due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so several generations of students are slowly learning. Apart from that, the 2022 AKM results are less than optimal because not all students are familiar with contextual problems. Therefore, training in designing mathematics learning using the local context of the wetland environment based on RME needs to be implemented. This service aims to develop the ability of teachers of SDI Sabilal Muhtadin to design mathematics learning using the local context of the wetland environment based on RME to increase teachers' understanding and ability to design realistic learning. The method applied in this community service activity uses a PAR (Participatory Action Research) approach. The PAR cycle implemented is To Know, To Understand, To Plan, To Act, and To Change. The service team prepares material and delivers it via an offline workshop, while participants are also allowed to design learning with a local context and based on RME. The service results show an increase in teacher understanding regarding RME-based learning designs in the local context of the wetland environment, which is indicated by an increase in the average score from pre-test to post-test. Apart from that, most teachers have been able to develop mathematics learning plans based on RME in a local context. This is shown by the teacher's work in designing lessons sent to the service team. Thus, this service activity has successfully increased teachers' understanding and abilities in designing realistic learning.

Abstract

Although in traditional trade practices, unethical practices are increasingly occurring, characterized by a lack of principles of honesty, trustworthiness, and transparency among traders, on the contrary, in traditional river-based trade practices at the Lok Baintan floating market with local wisdom "kuranglabih" can realize these practices. Fairtrade is in line with Islamic values. This research aims to describe trading ethics based on Islamic values in trading practices on the floating market and analyze the integration of Islamic values, local wisdom, and the role of Panyambangan in traditional river-based trade at the Lok Baintan Floating Market. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation to record cultural phenomena comprehensively. The research results show that it has contributed significantly to the Banjar people's cultural richness and character formation. As well as making strong river-based trade practices to support honest and fair trade. Local wisdom kuranglabih reflects ethics, kinship, tolerance, justice, mutual respect, and economic aspects. As moral guides, Miners play an essential role in spreading the values of honesty and generosity among traders. Commitment to Islamic values shows how cultural heritage can develop without losing its essence. This research contributes to understanding the importance of local wisdom in building honesty and justice. Research implications include sustainable planning for policymakers to protect traditional river-based markets and efforts to empower traders in developing and maintaining trade in floating markets.

Abstract

Salah satu upaya untuk dapat mengukur ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran matematika siswa adalah dengan tes formatif. Materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel dapat dikaitkan dengan etnomatematika pasar terapung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjabarkan proses dan menghasilkan tes formatif untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP yang valid dan reliabel. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development mengikuti alur ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Analisis data ditinjau dari kriteria valid, reliabel, indeks tingkat kesukaran, dan indeks daya pembeda. Tes formatif dievaluasi oleh dua validator diperoleh skor validitas logis sebesar 3,67 yang termasuk dalam kategori valid. Sedangkan, analisis validitas empiris butir soal didapatkan 10 butir soal valid dan 5 butir soal tidak valid. Hasil analisis reliabilitas memperoleh nilai koefisien 0,858 yang termasuk dalam kategori reliabilitas sangat tinggi. Tes formatif memiliki tingkat kesukaran sedang dengan rata-rata indeks kesukaran 0,68 dan daya pembeda baik dengan rata-rata indeks daya pembeda 0,47. Hasil akhir penelitian diperoleh 10 butir soal pilihan ganda yang valid dan reliabel.

Abstract

Pembelajaran materi pecahan di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar memerlukan penerapan asesmen yang mendorong siswa mandiri dan aktif untuk memantau progres mereka. Guru dapat melakukannya dengan asesmen yang berorientasi pada proses belajar, yaitu asesmen formatif. Mendukung hal tersebut dirancanglah asesmen formatif berbasis self-directed learning oriented assessment (SLOA) yang terdiri dari lembar tes formatif dan lembar penilaian diri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini, yaitu mengembangkan asesmen formatif berbasis SLOA yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D, subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 24 siswa kelas IV SDN Basirih 11 Banjarmasin, guru wali kelas, dan dua orang validator. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa lembar validasi, angket kepraktisan, dan lembar tes formatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) asesmen formatif berbasis SLOA memenuhi kriteria sangat valid dengan total skor sebesar 155 pada lembar tes formatif dan 129 pada lembar penilaian diri, (2) asesmen formatif berbasis SLOA memenuhi kriteria praktis dengan total perolehan skor angket kepraktisan dari guru sebesar 42, dan (3) asesmen formatif berbasis SLOA efektif untuk digunakan karena terdapat tren peningkatan rata-rata penilaian tes formatif. Dengan demikian, hasil pengembangan asesmen formatif materi pecahan berbasis SLOA di SDN Basirih 11 Banjarmasin ini valid, praktis, dan efektif.

Abstract

Kurikulum dirancang untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan melalui penyempurnaan dan perbaikan terus menerus. Dalam pembelajaran materi piktogram dan diagram batang di kelas IV sekolah dasar, penting untuk menerapkan asesmen yang mendorong siswa mandiri dan aktif dalam memantau progres mereka. Guru dapat melakukannya dengan asesmen yang berorientasi pada proses belajar, yaitu asesmen formatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan tes formatif piktogram dan diagram batang berbasis self-directed learning oriented assessment (SLOA) pada kelas IV yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Soal tes formatif pada penelitian ini berbentuk uraian yang terdiri dari 2 paket soal tes formatif. Dengan menerapkan pendekatan asesmen yang mendukung kemandirian belajar, diharapkan siswa dapat lebih aktif dalam mengevaluasi proses dan hasil belajar mereka. Uji coba ini dilakukan di SDN Benua Anyar 10 dengan subjek penelitian 14 peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Research and Development (R&D). Metode yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE, yang meliputi analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari pengembangan ini menunjukkan bahwa tes formatif yang dihasilkan valid dengan nilai rata-rata 3,45 dan sangat praktis dengan persentase 82% untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran, serta mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang diajarkan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam menciptakan alat asesmen yang efektif dan mendukung pembelajaran mandiri di sekolah.

Abstract

Memahami ide-ide sains dan menggunakannya untuk memecahkan masalah-masalah praktis dikenal sebagai literasi sains. Temuan PISA memperlihatkan kalau literasi sains siswa Indonesia berada dalam kisaran yang buruk. Kelangkaan sumber daya pembelajaran yang mempromosikan literasi sains adalah penyebabnya. Rasa ingin tahu ialah kualitas yang dapat membantu siswa menjadi pembaca yang lebih baik. Oleh karena itu, proses pembelajaran menuntut seseorang untuk memiliki rasa ingin tahu. Maksud dari proyek ini ialah guna membuat modul sains yang menekankan literasi sains dan menyoroti sifat keingintahuan dalam konten yang berkaitan dengan sistem gerak manusia. Materi pendidikan yang telah dipersiapkan menunjukkan ciri-ciri yang berakar pada literasi sains, yang dikelompokkan dalam empat kategori literasi sains, serta menampilkan karakteristik keingintahuan yang didasarkan pada empat indikator karakter keingintahuan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah model 4D, yang meliputi tiga tahap yakni definisi, perancangan, dan pengembangan. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi materi pendidikan untuk peserta didik. Dari hasil validasi oleh empat ahli, diperoleh nilai total validitas materi pendidikan sebesar 96,67%, yang masuk dalam kategori "valid tanpa perlu revisi".

Abstract

This study examines the integration of local wisdom, Islamic values, and early childhood engagement in the river-based traditional trade at the Lok Baintan Floating Market. The study delves into the enduring "Kuranglabih" principle rooted in the values of the Banjar community, which permeates traditional trade. This enduring principle, which harmonizes with traditional trade, undergoes examination through the qualitative case study approach. "Kuranglabih" denotes a term used in traditional trade at Lok Baintan Floating Market, describing a bargaining process centered on sincerity and generosity, devoid of causing harm to either the seller or the buyer. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation to produce a comprehensive record of cultural phenomena. The research instruments utilized in this study underwent a validation process to ensure their reliability and effectiveness in collecting data.The results demonstrate that the 'Kuranglabih' value imbues trading with 'mabrur,' echoing Allah’s virtuous principles, and has a positive impact on trading while aligning with virtuous principles. Early childhood engagement serves as a foundation for value transmission and the sustainability of cultural continuity within Banjar society. This study underscores early childhood engagement’s role in value transmission, nurturing sustainable cultural continuity within Banjar society. The study highlights this intricate interplay’s multi-dimensional nature of harmonizing local wisdom, Islamic values, and early childhood engagement at the Lok Baintan Floating Market.

Abstract

This article is written to analyze the research trends regarding the integration of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in laboratory practical activities over the past 10 years (2014–2023). The method employed is Bibliometric Analysis, supported by the VOSviewer application. The analysis focused on titles and abstracts, encompassing 961 scientific articles from international journals indexed in Scopus over the last decade. Data collection was performed through searches using the keyword "Problem Based Learning in Laboratory Activities." The search results reveal network formation, overlays, and trend direction graphs over the past 10 years. The research yields the following data: 1) The total number of publication articles based on keywords is 961 documents, which are filtered down to 453 documents, 2) The country with the highest contribution to published articles is the USA with 194 documents, 3) Co-occurrence analysis shows variations in article topics with six clusters, and 4) Overlay Visualization indicates that articles on laboratory activities tend to focus on the learning system, student-related aspects, curriculum, and problem-solving

Abstract

Critical thinking is increasingly important with the existence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) especially for college students. AI is not yet fully accurate in solving mathematical problems, so critical thinking helps students analyze and evaluate its answers. This study aims to enhance students’ critical thinking using PBL (Problem-Based Learning) with ChatGPT and GeoGebra. This quasi-experimental study with the pretest-post-test non-equivalent group design involved 47 subjects, 24 in the experimental group and 23 in the control group. The average pre-test and post-test of experimental (47.96 and 62.13) and control (55.48 and 54.26) groups were significantly different. The ANCOVA results showed that PBL with ChatGPT and GeoGebra significantly enhanced students’ critical thinking. Tukey’s test result showed that the difference between the experimental and control group was 14.88 which indicated that students’ critical thinking in the experimental group was higher than the control group. Furthermore, the treatment did not affect identify indicator, but had a positive effect on justify, inference, clarify, and strategy decision indicators. This demonstrates that PBL assisted by ChatGPT and GeoGebra enhances students’ critical thinking. The research has the potential to support lecturers in enhancing students’ critical thinking and improving innovative learning models where AI can be used in education with proper guidance and implications.Berpikir kritis semakin penting dengan adanya kecerdasan buatan (AI) khususnya bagi mahasiswa. AI belum sepenuhnya akurat dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika, sehingga berpikir kritis membantu mahasiswa menganalisis dan mengevaluasi jawabannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan PBL berbantuan ChatGPT dan GeoGebra dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika pada semester 4. Sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik cluster sampling dengan penentuan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol secara acak. Penelitian kuasi-eksperimen ini dengan desain pretest-post-test non-equivalent group melibatkan 47 subjek, 24 pada kelompok eksperimen dan 23 pada kelompok kontrol. Rata-rata pre-test dan post-test kelompok eksperimen (47,96 dan 62,13) dan kontrol (55,48 dan 54,26) berbeda secara signifikan. Hasil ANCOVA menunjukkan bahwa PBL dengan ChatGPT dan GeoGebra secara signifikan meningkatkan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Hasil uji Tukey menunjukkan perbedaan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol sebesar 14,88 yang mengindikasikan bahwa berpikir kritis mahasiswa pada kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Selain itu, perlakuan tidak berpengaruh pada indikator identify, tetapi memberikan pengaruh positif pada indikator justify, inference, clarify, dan strategy decision. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa PBL yang dibantu oleh ChatGPT dan GeoGebra meningkatkan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Penelitian ini berpotensi mendukung dosen dalam meningkatkan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dan memperbaiki model pembelajaran inovatif di mana AI dapat digunakan dalam pendidikan dengan bimbingan dan implikasi yang tepat.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance the competence of senior high school mathematics teachers in Banjarmasin City in implementing the Deep Learning approach through the strengthening of mathematical connection skills. The program was conducted using a Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) approach, which actively involved the Mathematics Teachers’ Association (MGMP) in the stages of needs identification, program planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. The activity consisted of a 32-hour intensive training held from September 4 to 11, 2025, involving 59 teachers. Program effectiveness was evaluated using a pretest–posttest design comprising 10 multiple-choice items assessing teachers’ understanding of Deep Learning dimensions (meaningful, mindful, and joyful learning) and mathematical connection competencies. The results indicated an increase in the mean score from 86.95 (SD = 8.96) to 90.85 (SD = 10.05), with an average gain of 3.90 points (4.48%). A paired sample t-test demonstrated a statistically significant improvement, t = 2.806, p = 0.007, with a moderate effect size (Cohen’s d = 0.41). In addition to quantitative improvements, teachers demonstrated enhanced ability in designing contextual mathematical problems that integrate inter-topic connections and real-world applications aligned with Deep Learning principles. To promote sustainability, the program was extended through a structured three-month mentoring phase to support classroom implementation and reflective practice. Overall, the findings indicate that the CBPR-based training effectively strengthened teachers’ conceptual understanding and instructional competence while reinforcing collaborative partnerships for sustainable professional development.
