Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatakn kuantitaif dan metode total sampling. Dengan tenaga pendidik yang menjadi responden sebanyak 75 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket (quesioner). Angket yang terdiri dari 30 pernyataan yang terdiri dari peernyataan untuk kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan mutu pendidikan. Data diolah dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan bantuan program SPSS versi 26 for windows dan excel 2010. Teknik pengelohan data data dalam penelitian ini adalah uji validitas, reliabilitas, uji normalitas data, analisis regresi linear sederhana, uji parsial (t) dan uji koefisien determinasi. Hasil data olah terdapat korelasi anatara variabel X dan variabel Y pada uji parsial (t) dapat dilihat bahwa variabel kepemimpinan kepala sekolah (x),  adalah (11,857) dan   (1,992) yang menunjukkan bahwa  (11,857) >  (1,992). Hal ini  menunjukkan bahwa ditolak  diterima. Jadi, hasil parsial (t) menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh kepemimpnan kepala sekolah berdampak positif secra parsial terhadap mutu pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SMK Negeri Panyabungan berpengaruh terhadap mutu pendidikan 65.8% dan berada pada kategori baik. Dan 34,2 % di pengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengauh positif kepemimpinan kepela sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Hal ini dibuktikan oleh mutu pendidikan d SMK Ngeri 2 Panyabungan.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of the principal’s leadership role in improving the effectiveness of organizational management in Early Childhood Education (ECE) institutions. As an educational leader, the principal is responsible for organizing, directing, and coordinating all available resources in ECE institutions to ensure they function effectively and efficiently. The aim of this study is to analyze the influence of principal leadership on ECE organizational management. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The findings indicate that effective principal leadership, particularly democratic and participatory leadership styles, has a positive influence on improving the quality of ECE organizational management in terms of planning, organizing, implementation, and program evaluation. In addition, effective leadership also enhances teacher performance and creates a conducive working environment. The implication of this study suggests that improving the leadership competence of principals is essential to support the optimal management of ECE institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Field Experience Practice (PPL) activities in developing the professionalism of prospective teachers at SMK Muhammadiyah 14 Siabu. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive-reflective design. The subjects were eight students from the English Language Education, Science Education, Islamic Religious Education, and Islamic Education Management study programs who participated in the PPL and acted as reflective researchers. Data were obtained through participant observation, learning tool documentation, reflective journals, and group discussions. Then, they were analyzed qualitatively based on indicators of pedagogical, professional, social, and personality competencies. The results indicate that the implementation of PPL significantly contributed to improving students' abilities to systematically design, implement, and evaluate learning. Furthermore, the PPL activities strengthened mastery of teaching materials, developed communication and collaboration skills, and fostered a sense of responsibility, discipline, and professional ethics as prospective educators. The ongoing reflection process also deepened students' understanding of the meaning of teacher professionalism. Thus, PPL can be viewed as a strategic tool in preparing prospective teachers who are competent, professional, and possess integrity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of emotional approach-based organizational management in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) in improving children's learning comfort. The emotional approach in PAUD organizational management is an important strategy in creating a safe, enjoyable, and supportive learning environment for children's social and emotional development. This research used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observations, interviews, and documentation involving principals, teachers, and students in PAUD institutions. The results showed that the implementation of an emotional approach in PAUD organizational management could improve children's learning comfort through warm communication between teachers and students, child-friendly classroom management, positive motivation, and good collaboration between schools and parents. In addition, the emotional approach helps children become more confident, active, and socially interactive. Therefore, emotional approach-based organizational management in PAUD plays an important role in creating a conducive learning atmosphere and supporting the optimal development of early childhood learners.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of supervision management as an effort to improve the quality of education at SMAN 1 Panyabungan. Supervision is one of the functions of education management that plays an important role in improving the quality of the learning process, teacher competence, and the effectiveness of school management. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation involving school principals, teachers, and education staff. The results of the study show that supervision management at SMAN 1 Panyabungan is carried out through the stages of planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up in a structured manner. The planning stage is carried out by preparing a supervision program according to the needs of the school, implementation is carried out through monitoring and teacher coaching activities, evaluation is carried out by assessing the results of supervision, while the follow-up is in the form of continuous improvement and development. Supervision activities have been proven to have a positive impact on improving teacher professionalism, learning quality, and achieving educational goals in schools. These findings confirm that effective supervision management can be one of the important strategies in improving the quality of education in a sustainable manner, while strengthening the role of school principals as quality improvement-oriented educational leaders.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning as an effort to improve students’ discipline in performing congregational prayers at SDN 188 Simangambat. Learning management in PAI includes planning, implementation, and evaluation strategies carried out by teachers to instill religious values and develop students’ awareness of the importance of praying together. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods to describe the role of PAI learning management in shaping students’ prayer discipline. The results indicate that effective PAI learning management can encourage students to perform congregational prayers regularly through teacher guidance, habituation programs, and a supportive school environment. Teachers play an important role as educators and role models in building students’ responsibility and obedience in carrying out religious activities. The implementation of structured learning activities, monitoring, and evaluation contributes to improving students’ discipline and spiritual character. Therefore, proper management of PAI learning is an important factor in developing students’ religious habits and strengthening Islamic character education in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study examines the role of innovation management in learning to improve the quality of basic education, particularly in elementary schools. The background of this research is the increasing demand for adaptive, creative, and student-centered learning approaches in response to rapid educational changes in the digital era. The objective of this study is to analyze how the implementation of innovation management strategies in learning can enhance teaching effectiveness, student engagement, and overall educational quality. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method through literature review by analyzing relevant books, journals, and previous studies related to learning innovation and educational management. The findings indicate that effective management of learning innovation—such as the integration of technology, the use of active learning models, and teacher professional development—significantly contributes to improving student learning outcomes and classroom interaction. Furthermore, innovation management encourages teachers to be more creative in designing learning activities that are contextual and meaningful for students. The study implies that schools and education stakeholders need to strengthen institutional support, provide continuous training for teachers, and develop policies that encourage sustainable innovation in learning. Thus, structured innovation management in learning becomes a key factor in enhancing the quality of basic education in a competitive global era.

Abstract

Teacher performance is a crucial factor in determining the success of the educational process in schools. High-performing teachers are able to effectively implement learning, thereby improving the quality of student learning outcomes. In efforts to improve teacher performance, principals play a strategic role as educational leaders responsible for managing, fostering, and developing human resources within the school environment. This study aims to examine various efforts made by principals to improve teacher performance based on published research findings. The method used in this study was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), analyzing various relevant scientific articles from national journals published in recent years. The review process involved identification, selection, evaluation, and synthesis of articles that met the research criteria. The results indicate that several key efforts undertaken by principals to improve teacher performance include academic supervision, work motivation, continuous professional development, creating a conducive school climate, and providing rewards and performance evaluations. These efforts have been shown to have a positive impact on improving teacher competence, discipline, responsibility, and professionalism. Therefore, effective principal leadership is a crucial factor in supporting improved teacher performance and the quality of education in schools.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of implementing digitalization of archiving which is a transformation in the archiving system from conventional to digital form in order to increase the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of information services in the school environment. The purpose of this study is to find out (1). how the digitalization of archiving is managed at SMP Negeri 3 Siabu (2). the impact of the implementation of digitalization of archiving in improving the quality of information service management at SMP Negeri 3 Siabu (3). inhibiting and supporting factors of digitalization of archiving in the administration of SMP Negeri 3 Siabu. The results of the study show that (1). the management of digitalization of archiving at SMP Negeri 3 Siabu has implemented digitalization of archiving quite well because the average TU has mastered IT, for example, such as monthly reports, division of teacher work tasks, incoming and outgoing letters, new student registration, RPP, report card grades, and online attendance using digital archives such as mobile applications (cloud storage) and dropbox. Student achievements, and promotion of school extracurricular activities are archived using Facebook and Instagram applications. BOS reports, teacher and education staff attendance reports, Dapodik data, appointment decrees, teaching assignment decrees, retirement decrees, and the implementation of UKKJ JF teachers have used digital archiving with the Google Drive and OneDrive applications.

Abstract

The increasing number of corruption cases involving School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds has become a serious challenge for the education sector in Indonesia. These cases not only undermine public trust in educational institutions but also hinder the achievement of equitable and quality education. This study aims to analyze the role of professional leadership in preventing and addressing the misuse of BOS funds within educational institutions. The research employs a qualitative approach through literature review and analysis of relevant regulations, scholarly publications, and documented corruption cases in the education sector. The findings indicate that professional leadership characterized by integrity, accountability, transparency, and strong ethical commitment plays a significant role in minimizing opportunities for corruption. Effective leaders are able to establish robust internal control systems, promote a culture of honesty, and ensure participatory financial management involving various stakeholders. Furthermore, continuous supervision and adherence to governance principles strengthen institutional resilience against financial misconduct. The study implies that strengthening leadership capacity and ethical values among educational leaders is essential for improving financial governance and fostering public confidence in educational management. Professional leadership is therefore a crucial factor in supporting clean, transparent, and sustainable education administration.
