Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas kegiatan Edu Flanel dalam meningkatkan keterampilan motorik halus anak usia dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan partisipan sebanyak 17 anak usia 5-6 tahun dari TK Wanda Preschool. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi partisipatif dan penggunaan Kuesioner Motorik Halus. Data dianalisis melalui analisis deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengidentifikasi perubahan dalam keterampilan motorik halus setelah intervensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan Edu Flanel efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan motorik halus anak usia dini di TK Wanda Preschool. Pada siklus pertama, dari 17 anak yang diamati, sebanyak 9 anak (53%) mampu memotong kertas flanel, 10 anak (59%) mampu melipatnya, dan 11 anak (65%) mampu menempelnya. Pada siklus kedua, jumlah anak yang mampu melakukan ketiga aktivitas tersebut meningkat signifikan, yaitu 13 anak (76%) mampu memotong, 14 anak (82%) mampu melipat, dan 15 anak ( 88%) mampu menempel kertas flanel. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan motorik halus pada anak-anak selama periode pengamatan, yang dapat diinterpretasikan sebagai hasil dari intervensi atau latihan yang dilakukan selama siklus pengamatan. Penelitian ini memberikan landasan untuk penelitian lebih lanjut dan pengembangan praktik pendidikan yang mendukung perkembangan anak secara optimal. Interaksi aktif dengan materi Edu Flanel juga meningkatkan minat belajar anak-anak. Implikasi penelitian ini mendukung penggunaan kegiatan berbasis flanel dalam kurikulum prasekolah untuk merangsang perkembangan motorik halus anak-anak secara holistik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur keterampilan kolaborasi anak dalam hal partisipasi aktif, komunikasi efektif, pembagian tugas, penyelesaian konflik, dan Kerjasama pada saat membuat taman mini melalui penerapan pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk mensintesis temuan yang menunjukkan sikap kolaboratif anak dalam kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang melibatkan 15 anak usia 5-6 tahun di Taman Kanak-kanak Tumbuh Kembang Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dengan teknik analisis menggunakan triangulasi data. Penerapan Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (PBP) di TK Tumbuh Kembang Makassar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kolaborasi anak-anak menunjukkan hasil bahwa PBP efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi seperti komunikasi, kerja sama, pembagian tugas, dan penyelesaian konflik. Anak-anak terlibat aktif dalam proyek pembuatan taman mini, yang memperkuat interaksi dan kerja sama di antara mereka. PBP juga meningkatkan keterlibatan dan motivasi anak-anak dalam pembelajaran, memungkinkan mereka belajar secara interaktif dan mendalam. Selain itu, melalui PBP, anak-anak mengembangkan keterampilan sosial dan emosional serta mendukung pengembangan holistik mereka. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa PBP dapat menjadi metode pembelajaran yang efektif di TK, membantu guru dalam merancang pengalaman pembelajaran berpusat pada siswa yang mendukung perkembangan kognitif dan sosial anak-anak.

Abstract

This study investigates the psychological impacts and prevention strategies of verbal bullying, focusing on its long-lasting effects on self-esteem and mental health, and its prevalence in school environments. The research aims to deepen understanding of verbal bullying dynamics, contributing factors, and effective countermeasures. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the study collects data through surveys, interviews, and observations from students and staff at UPT SPF SD Negeri Kapasa in Makassar. Quantitative analysis measures the incidence of verbal bullying, while qualitative analysis explores personal experiences and the effectiveness of an anti-bullying program implemented in the school. Results indicate a significant decrease in bullying instances and a positive shift in student behavior and awareness post-intervention, emphasizing the importance of sustained educational efforts and policy reinforcement to cultivate a respectful and empathetic school culture.

Abstract

Cyberbullying or digital bullying has become a significant social issue in Indonesia, especially among teenagers. This phenomenon has developed alongside the rapid use of technology and social media. The aim of this research is to explore the impact of cyberbullying on the mental health of adolescents in Indonesia. This research uses a quantitative method with a survey approach, involving 100 students from several major cities in Indonesia. The research results show that around 40% of students experience cyberbullying, which directly impacts mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. This research also highlights the importance of the roles of parents, schools, and the government in reducing cases of cyberbullying and providing appropriate psychological support for the victims. Furthermore, a more in-depth analysis of the factors leading to cyberbullying behavior was obtained as an effective way to prevent and address the phenomenon of cyberbullying in the school environment.

Abstract

This study aims to improve children's social-emotional skills through the application of the role playing method at Harapan Ibu Halawatul Iman Kindergarten. The social-emotional skills focused on in this study include the aspects of “obeying the rules” and “queuing for turn”. The Classroom Action Study (PTK) method was used in this study with two cycles, each consisting of three meetings. The study subjects were 15 playgroup children aged 3-4 years. Data were collected through observation and field notes, and analyzed utilizing qualitative and quantitative descriptive approaches. The results of the study indicated that the application of role playing was successful in improving children's social-emotional skills, especially in the aspects of obeying rules and queuing for turns. Most children indicated good development, with 40% of children in the Developing As Expected (BSH) category and 40% in the Beginning to Develop (MB) category in terms of obeying the rules. Meanwhile, in the aspect of queuing their turn, 53% of children were in the BSH category and 47% in the MB category. These results indicate that the role playing method is effective in increasing children's social skills, including patience, empathy, and cooperation, which support their emotional development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran talking stick terhadap kemampuan berbicara anak usia dini di Taman Kanak-Kanak (TK). Desain penelitian menggunakan Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design, di mana kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dipilih tanpa randomisasi, sehingga berbentuk desain Nonequivalent (Pretest and Posttest) Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian melibatkan seluruh anak kelompok B di TK Taman PAUD Doa Ibu, yang terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelompok B1 dengan 24 anak didik dan Kelompok B2 dengan 20 anak didik. Melalui uji hipotesis, penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan yang signifikan dalam pengaruh penerapan metode Talking Stick terhadap kemampuan berbicara anak-anak di TK Taman PAUD Doa Ibu. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan perbandingan antara nilai t hitung (40.645) dan nilai t tabel (1.686). Karena t hitung lebih besar daripada t tabel, maka hipotesis H1 diterima yang menyatakan bahwa metode talking stick berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berbicara anak.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and critically analyze the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in Early Childhood Education (ECE), while also exploring the supporting and inhibiting factors and gathering strategic recommendations from teachers as frontline practitioners. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis involving teachers from selected kindergartens implementing PjBL. The findings reveal that teachers generally understand PjBL as a project activity but struggle to differentiate it from conventional crafts or display projects. Their understanding of the pedagogical structure of PjBL remains limited, particularly regarding essential elements such as driving questions, inquiry-based exploration, and authentic assessment. Lesson plans are often based on available topics rather than emerging from children’s interests, and assessment strategies are rarely integrated from the beginning of the planning stage. Implementation tends to be teacher-directed, limiting children’s autonomy, problem-solving, and collaborative learning opportunities. However, children show increased enthusiasm and curiosity when given opportunities to explore, especially through outdoor and environmental projects. Supporting factors include institutional encouragement, parental involvement, and the use of culturally relevant contexts. Conversely, challenges such as time constraints, inadequate training, and limited resources hinder effective implementation. Teachers recommend continuous, practice-based training, collaborative and flexible lesson planning, integration of community resources, and development of assessment tools that evaluate creativity, communication, and collaboration. This study contributes to a better understanding of how PjBL can be meaningfully adapted in early childhood settings and provides practical insights for improving teacher professional development and curriculum design.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the Financial Performance of West Sumbawa Regency so that it can be known how the financial performance of West Sumbawa Regency uses the ratio analysis tool for independence, effectiveness and growth in the Regional Financial Realization Report of West Sumbawa Regency. This research uses Budget Realization data for 2018 to 2018 d 2021. with data analysis using a descriptive quantitative method. The results of this study show an independence ratio of 9.82% which is classified as very low with an instructive pattern. The effectiveness ratio of PAD for West Sumbawa district in 2018-2021 with an achievement of 133.02%, from the set budget which is classified as very effective, and the growth ratio in the period 3 years 2019 to 2021 experienced growth but in 2018 PAD growth experienced a drastic decrease of -61.07%.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa bimbingan teknis (bimtek) yang bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas guru PAUD dalam menerapkan strategi pendidikan yang efektif dan kontekstual, serta mendorong keterlibatan orang tua sebagai mitra aktif dalam mendidik anak di sekolah. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesenjangan antara metode pembelajaran konvensional yang masih dominan dan kebutuhan akan pembelajaran yang lebih adaptif dan inklusif. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan terdiri dari empat tahapan utama: sosialisasi dan diskusi terbuka, pelatihan metode pengajaran aktif, simulasi kelas, serta evaluasi dan refleksi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam satu hari dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan berorientasi pada praktik langsung di lapangan. Peserta bimtek terdiri dari guru PAUD dan utusan oramg tua anak di Kota Makassar. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kompetensi guru, terutama dalam perencanaan pembelajaran tematik dan pengelolaan kelas berbasis pendekatan aktif. Selain itu, keterlibatan orang tua dalam proses pendidikan anak meningkat melalui pembentukan komunikasi digital dan kolaborasi rutin. Lingkungan belajar menjadi lebih inklusif dan mendukung, dengan inisiatif tindak lanjut dari sekolah seperti pembentukan komunitas belajar guru. Dampak awal terhadap siswa juga teridentifikasi, berupa peningkatan keaktifan dan motivasi belajar. Kontribusi kegiatan ini terhadap ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (IPTEK) terletak pada penerapan strategi pendidikan yang terintegrasi antara guru dan orang tua, yang berfokus pada pembelajaran aktif, karakter, dan inklusi. Pendekatan ini memperkaya praktik pendidikan di tingkat dasar, serta menjadi model bagi pengembangan program pelatihan guru yang kontekstual dan kolaboratif ke depannya.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an innovative and effective storytelling learning method to stimulate receptive and expressive language skills in early childhood. The main issue faced at Doa Ibu Early Childhood Education Kindergarten, Makassar is the low receptive and expressive language abilities of the children. The study uses a qualitative approach with the Lesson Study method, implemented over two cycles, involving 15 children. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive methods and the calculation of descriptive statistics with N Gain to assess the effectiveness of the learning. In the first cycle, audio-visual media was used in storytelling learning but was not effective in capturing the children's attention until the end of the story. The second cycle introduced an interactive approach by combining video visuals and hand puppets, which increased participation and active learning. The results of the study show that the combination of video-visual media and hand puppets in three learning steps— tonton cerita (watch the story), ulas cerita (review the story), and ekspresikan cerita (express the story)—abbreviated as TRUE Storytelling, proved to be an effective method for enhancing children's receptive and expressive language abilities
