Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 001 Binamang dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Yurisprudential Inquiry. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 16 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan dokumentasi, dengan analisis data secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan. Pada siklus I, ketuntasan belajar siswa meningkat dari 43,75% menjadi 56,25%. Pada siklus II, meningkat lagi dari 75% menjadi 87,5%. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran Yurisprudential Inquiry efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di kelas III khususnya pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas III SD Negeri 016 Air Buluh. Rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis tersebut dapat di tingkatkan dengan menggunakan model Discovery Learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas, yang di laksanakan dalam dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu satu orang guru dan 23 orang siswa, sedangkan objeknya adalah dengan menggunakan model Discovery Learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Instrumen penelitian ini terdiri dari lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu dengan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan melalui dua siklus, pada siklus I kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang termasuk dalam kategori kurang kritis 17%, cukup kritis 26%, kritis 35%, dan sangat kritis 22%. Sedangkan pada siklus II kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang termasuk dalam kategori kurang kritis 0%, cukup kritis 0%, kritis 13%, dan sangat kritis 87%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dengan mengguunakan model Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas III SD Negeri 016 Air Buluh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh semakin tingginya persentase guru bersertifikasi pada satuan tingkat pendidikan setiap tahunnya, khususnya pendidikan dasar yang ditunjukkan oleh data Badan Pusat Statistik tahun 2018 serta pernyataan Menteri Keuangan Indonesia bahwa sertifikasi saat ini hanya prosedural untuk mendapatkan tunjangan, tidak meningkatkan kinerja guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana kinerja guru bersertifikasi di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kecamatan Bangkinang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara rinci, menyeluruh dan mendalam. Subjek utama penelitian ini adalah lima orang guru bersertifikasi di lima Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kecamatan Bangkinang. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model Sugiyono meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Temuan akhir penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dilihat dari segi perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, hubungan dengan warga sekolah, serta pelaksanaan penilaian, remedial dan pengayaan terdapat guru bersertifikasi yang terlihat bagus kinerjanya sehingga layak mendapat sertifikasi, namun tetap perlu mengoptimalkan kinerjanya. Selain itu, juga terdapat guru bersertifikasi yang kurang maksimal kinerjanya sehingga perlu berbagai pembenahan diri untuk peningkatan kinerjanya sebagai guru bersertifikasi yang diakui keprofesionalannya.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low social skills of class V students at UPT SD Negeri 016 Bangkinang Kota. This research aims to improve the social skills of class V UPT SD Negeri 016 Bangkinang Kota students totaling 27 students. The research used was Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in two learning cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and four learning stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research was carried out in May 2024. Data collection techniques were in the form of observation and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques use qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, the social skills results of class V UPT SD Negeri 016 Bangkinang Kota students in pre-action were obtained with a learning completion percentage of 30%. In cycle I, meeting I, the percentage of learning completeness was 48% and in cycle I, meeting II experienced an increase with a percentage of learning completeness of 59%. In cycle I, meeting I also experienced an increase with a learning completion percentage of 67% and in cycle II meeting II experienced another increase with a learning percentage of 89%. Thus it can be concluded that by implementing the Make A Match Type Cooperative Learning model, it can improve the social skills of class V students at UPT SD Negeri 016 Bangkinang Kota.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low social skills of students during learning activities in class V SDN 020 Ridan Permai , Bangkinang City District, Kampar Regency. This study aims to improve students' social skills by using a make a match type of cooperative learning model in class V SDN 020 Ridan play . The type of this research is classroom action research which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings with four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade students of SDN 020 Ridan Permai , totaling 23 people, with 9 male students and 14 female students. The research data collection techniques are in the form of observation and documentation. The results of this research observation showed that the social skills of students in the first cycle there were 12 students in the complete category (52%). In the second cycle there was an increase to 19 students in the complete category (83%). Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the make a match type of cooperative learning model can improve the social skills of the fifth grade students of SDN 020 Ridan play .

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) learning model assisted by question card media on the critical thinking ability of elementary school students. The research was conducted at UPT SDM 002 Penyasawan involving 36 fifth-grade students divided into two classes. This study employed a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design and a quantitative approach. The instruments used to measure students' critical thinking skills were essay tests and observation sheets. Quantitative data analysis was processed using SPSS version 25. The results showed that students taught using the VCT learning model assisted by question cards had higher critical thinking skills compared to those taught using conventional methods. Based on the independent sample t-test, the significance value obtained was 0.000 < 0.05, with the experimental class scoring an average of 84.67, while the control class scored 76.22. This indicates that the VCT learning model assisted by question cards is more effective in improving students’ critical thinking skills. Thus, this model can be an alternative solution in Pancasila Education learning to develop students’ critical thinking at the elementary level.

Abstract

Background This research is motivated by the low arithmetic ability of first grade students of SDN 010 Siabu, especially in addition material. This is caused by the use of conventional learning methods that are less interesting and the lack of utilization of concrete learning media. This study aims to determine the effect of using the jarimatika method on students' arithmetic ability in addition material. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely class I A as the experimental group and class I B as the control group, each consisting of 21 students. The instrument used was a numeracy ability test that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of data analysis using the independent t-test showed that there was a significant difference between the posttest scores of the experimental group and the control group, with a significance value of 0.001 <0.05. The average posttest score of the experimental group was higher, namely 89.05 compared to the control group 80.90. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of the jarimatika method has a positive effect on improving the arithmetic ability of first grade students in addition material. Abstract

This research is motivated by the author's concern regarding the lack of student collaboration in Indonesian language learning. Indonesian language learning needs to emphasize the attitude of cooperation among individuals in a group to complete tasks, share information and knowledge, and work together in a group to complement each other in achieving common goals. The purpose of this study is to improve student collaboration in the Indonesian language subject for fifth-grade students at State Elementary School 003 Pulau Jambu, Kuok District. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year at State Elementary School 003 Pulau Jambu, Kuok District. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR). The subjects of this study are the fifth-grade students of State Elementary School 003 Pulau Jambu, Kuok District, for the 2024/2025 academic year. Data collection was conducted using observation sheets as instruments. Data analysis utilized both qualitative and quantitative tests. The results of this study indicate that the application of the cooperative model type lottery cards can improve collaboration among fifth-grade students at State Elementary School 003 Pulau Jambu, Kuok District. The improvement can be seen from the number of students collaborating in cycle I, which consisted of 15 students with a percentage of 65.21%, and the number of students who did not collaborate, which amounted to 8 students with a percentage of 34.78%. In cycle II, the number of students collaborating increased to 21 students with a percentage of 91.30%, while the number of students who did not collaborate decreased to 2 students with a percentage of 8.69%. Since the number of students who did not collaborate decreased from cycle I to cycle II, this research is considered successful.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low understanding of the concept of multiplication in mathematics learning of grade III students. This study aims to improve the ability to understand the concept of socialization of class III students of SDN 003 Bangkinang. This study is a classroom action research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles and each cycle consists of two meetings. The subjects in this study were all class III students totaling 26 students. Data collection techniques were in the form of observation, documentation and tests. While the data analysis technique used was a combination of quantitative data and qualitative data. Based on the results of cycle 1, there were 11 students who completed the study with a percentage of 42.30% with an overall average of 67.88 and at the second meeting it increased to 14 students with a percentage of 53.84% with an overall average of 72.19. While in cycle II, meeting I, there were 19 students who completed the study with a percentage of 73.07% with an overall average of 77.42 and there was an increase at the second meeting to 24 students with a percentage of 92.30% with an overall average of 87.80. Based on the results of this study, it shows that by applying Contextual Teaching and Learning learning, (CTL) can improve the understanding of mathematical multiplication concepts of grade III students at SDN 003 Bangkinang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of Canva interactive media in improving reading comprehension among fourth-grade deaf students at SLBN Kabupaten Kampar. The background of this research is based on the need for learning media that can accommodate the hearing limitations of deaf students while increasing their interest and ability in reading. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included the class teacher, school principal, students, and parents. The results indicate that the use of Canva interactive media provides a significant positive impact. First, it facilitates teachers in delivering material through engaging visuals, contrasting colors, and animations that are easy for deaf students to understand. Second, students become more focused and motivated to participate in reading lessons. Third, parental involvement in supporting their children’s learning at home increases since the media can be accessed flexibly. Observations showed improvement in text comprehension and vocabulary mastery after four learning sessions. Interviews with teachers, the school principal, and parents confirmed that Canva supports learning adjustments according to the communication characteristics of deaf students. The conclusion of this study is that Canva interactive media is effective in enhancing reading comprehension among deaf students. These findings align with previous studies emphasizing the importance of visualization and interactivity in learning for students with special needs.
