Abstract

Early childhood education is an important foundation for a child's future development. For this reason, when learning at the early childhood education level, teachers are needed who have professional commitment in carry-ing out their duties. Teachers who have professional commitment will be able to display optimal performance for early childhood learning. There are many factors that influence professional commitment, one of which is job satisfaction. Job satisfaction factors are the topic of study in this research. This research aims to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and professional commitment in early childhood education teachers.  This research was conducted using quantitative methods. The sampling technique for this research uses convenience. The number of research subjects was 120 Early Childhood Education teachers. Data were collected using a psy-chological scale developed by the research team. The psychological scale consists of a job satisfaction scale and a professional commitment scale. Data analysis was carried out using the Pearson Correlation analysis tech-nique. The research results show that there is a significant positive relationship between job satisfaction and professional commitment in early childhood education teachers. The results of the correlation analysis show that the higher the job satisfaction, the higher the professional commitment. The novelty of this research is that there is still limited research regarding the relationship between job satisfaction and professional commitment among early childhood teachers. Several previous studies discussing job satisfaction and professional commitment used research subjects, such as nurses, auditor, employees and teachers at higher education levels.

Abstract

Karang Taruna as a social organization is an important institution for realizing community welfare. The young generation of youth organizations as future leaders have a big responsibility in developing the village and improving the community's economy. The degradation of leadership in social organizations is an indicator of a crisis of public trust. To build the character of the younger generation is through internalizing behavioral values, morals, norms, and rules to realize the vision of youth organizations to achieve village sustainable development goals (Village SDGs). The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of youth training and maximizing village potential. This article uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The researchers are the key instruments from October 2022 to December 2022. The research location is in Purwosari Village, Purwosari District, Bojonegoro Regency, Indonesia. The research subjects were obtained using the snowball sampling technique. The number of research informants was seven informants consisting of five informants who were members of the youth group, one chairman of the youth group, and one village head. Primary data sources were researchers from informants who had attended training, and secondary data sources from Karang Taruna Sasana Krida Muda documents and Purwosari Village documents. Field data collection uses participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document studies. Research data analysis uses three stages, namely: data condensation, data reduction, and presentation and conclusion. The results of the study showed that: (1) youth leadership training aims to train leaders' communication skills, analysis skills on field conditions, the formation of leaders as good listeners, firm and responsible leaders, and leadership skills in making decisions; and (2) maximizing village potential through land use programs as hydroponic fruit gardens, vegetables, and “reservoir” fisheries. Abstract

Abstract: The extracurricular program which is divided into several specializations shows the importance of supporting the development of Islamic character in schools. This cannot be denied, because character is a complex activity that involves family, community and the school environment. Extracurricular activities are learning activities held outside school hours as an addition or complement. Extracurricular programs are organized with the aim of developing students' potential, talents, interests, abilities, personality, cooperation and independence optimally. The aim of the research is to determine the role of extracurricular programs in building students' Islamic leadership character. School and extracurricular activities are a holistic unit and mutually influence a child's leadership character. The learning process occurs in both to create reliable human resources. In theory, learning is essentially an "individual process" which means that it occurs in humans uniquely. Qualitative research is descriptive. which describes completely and holistically the phenomena that occur. The research was conducted at the AL-Kayyis Gresik Integrative Islamic Elementary School with data collection techniques using in-depth interviews, participatory observation and document analysis. Meanwhile, qualitative research data analysis uses Miles & Huberman, namely; (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, (3) drawing conclusions. Extracurricular programs can be recreational, achievement or life skills. Abstract

Ibu yang bekerja mempunyai dua tanggungjawab yakni pekerjaan di rumah dan di luar rumah. Pekerjaan dirumah yaitu mengurus keluarga dan pekerjaan di luar rumah yaitu pekerjaan dibidangnya. Sehingga pengasuhan yang diberikan kepada anak tentu berbeda bahkan ada yang berkurang karena harus ditinggal bekerja. Seorang ibu memilih untuk bekerja tentunya dengan faktor yang berbeda-beda. Pengasuhan yang tidak efektif akan memberikan dampak pada emosional anak. Sehingga pada penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan yaitu menyajikan gambaran peran seorang ibu pekerja dalam mengelola emosi anak. Subyek yang diambil yaitu 10 orang ibu yang memiliki anak usia dini. Dalam hal ini peneliti menggunakan teknik deskriptif serta pendekatan yang dipakai untuk penelitian yaitu pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini berfokus pada bagaimana peran ibu yang bekerja untuk mengondisikan emosi anak. Wawancara dan observasi merupakan teknik pengumpulan data yang dipakai oleh peneliti. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi pengumpulan data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kseimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ibu yang bekerja juga bisa mengondisikan emosi anak dengan cara memberikan perhatian yang lebih dengan dibantu oleh ayah dan anggota keluarga lainnya. Namun terkadang tidak semua kebutuhan anak dapat terpenuhi oleh ibu dikarenakan sedang bekerja. Seperti halnya perhatian yang diberikan oleh ibu bisa menjadi berkurang, kebutuhan sosial emosional anak, dan kebutuhan waktu bersama ibu.

Abstract

Artikel ini berisikan laporan hasil penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran orang tua dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak usia dini di TK Dharma Wanita, Tembelang, Jombang dan metode diterapkan ketika anak mengalami beberapa masalah selama proses belajar dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi dengan menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, proses pembelajaran daring berjalan lancar sesuai jadwal dari guru di TK Dharma Wanita tetapi beberapa orang tua mengeluhkan tentang kesiapan mereka dalam menghadapi proses belajar di rumah sehingga dalam melakukan perannya kurang optimal karena terhalang oleh pekerjaan dan kesibukan di rumah. Beberapa diantaranya kurang mahir menggunakan gadget dan anak-anak mengalami perubahan sebelum dan setelah diterapkannya pembelajaran daring. Hasil penelitian yang didapat yaitu orang tua memberikan dorongan dan motivasi , menyediakan waktu untuk belajar bersama. Beberapa diantaranya sibuk dengan urusan masing-masing dan kurang paham tentang pentingnya belajar pada masa usia dini. Metode motivasi yang diberikan berupa memberi reward/hukuman, memfasilitasi alat/media belajar yang memadai, memberikan pengertian bahwa belajar itu menyenangkan dan penggunaan gadget yang positif, jalan-jalan serta memberikan camilan/makanan favorit anak.

Abstract

Kursus pranikah merupakan kursus yang memiliki beragam manfaat bagi calon pengantin, karena pada kursus ini mereka akan diberikan ilmu tambahan tentang cara menghadapi dan menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan dalam rumah tangga. Dengan adanya kursus pranikah ini diharapkan mampu mengurangi angka perceraian dan KDRT, Seks bebas, serta pernikahan dini yang terjadi di Kota Surabaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kursus pranikah atau bimbingan perkawinan yang diselenggarakan Kementrian Agama Kota Surabaya dan mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan kursus pranikah dengan tingkat pemahaman calon pengantin tentang fungsi keluarga pada pelaksanaan kursus tersebut. Nilai yang terkandung dalam fungsi keluarga mampu membantu pasangan ketika mengalami kesulitan atau kebingungan akan pedoman dalam suatu hubungan pernikahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Responden pada penelitiam ini sebanyak 30 orang peserta yang telah mengikuti kursus pranikah. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan angket tertutup, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Pada proses analisis data, teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik korelasi product moment. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan, hasil rhitung 0,211 < rtabel 0,361 sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan tidak ada hubungan atau korelasi antara kursus pranikah dengan tingkat pemahaman calon pengantin. Hal ini dikarenakan tidak semua kursus yang diikuti oleh calon pengantin dapat diterapkan dikehidupan setelah menikah, semua tergantung dari prespektif individu tersebut. Adanya penelitian ini maka materi pada kursus diberikan pemahaman fungsi keluarga yang lebih mendalam lagi, sehingga peserta akan lebih mudah memahami nilai-nilai yang terkandung didalan fungsi keluarga itu sendiri.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe parents' consensual communication patterns in shaping the responsible behavior of adolescents aged 17-18 years at Papan Bestari 2 Housing, Pasuruan City. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The results of the study show that parents who apply consensual communication patterns are parents who are open to teenagers by getting used to telling stories, discussing, andsharing to adolescents, so that parents also provide intense supervision and attention to adolescents to be able to monitor their development. In forming responsibilities in adolescents, parents get used to planting from an early age to give concrete examples, give space and always provide supervision. The supporting factor is in the form of giving space to adolescents and the knowledge possessed by parents about the condition of adolescents, while the inhibiting factor is that adolescents are less able to regulate their emotions so they are less able to adjust the way of communication with older people.

Abstract

Training is one type of non-formal education that aims to develop behavior in terms of knowledge, skills and attitudes. One of the trainings that are in vogue, especially among children, is horse riding training. A training that is considered capable of developing gross motor skills in children. The purpose of this study was to examine and determine whether there is a relationship between horse riding training on children's gross motor development. This study used a quantitative method. The design in this study used a pretest-posttest with data collection techniques using action tests, questionnaires, and documentation. While the data analysis techniques used are validation test, reliability test, normality test, and hypothesis testing using product moment. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between horse riding training and children's gross motor development. The results of the data calculation are r count shows the result of 0.673 and t count of 4.8147 so from these results it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, based on these calculations it can be said that there is a relationship between horse riding training and children's gross motor development in Surabaya.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the role of parents which includes the role of educator, facilitator, and motivator in developing speaking skills in speech delay children aged 4-5 years. The research method used is descriptive qualitative using data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification or drawing conclusions. The resulte obtained from this research indicate that parents are still not optimal in carrying out their role as educators, facilitators and motivators to support the developments of speaking abilities in speech delay children aged 4-5 years because every parent has and experiences inhibiting factors in carrying out their role, such as parents busy to work, unsupportive environment, use of two languages, and other inhibiting factors. The supportting factors provided by parents to be able to develop speaking skills in speech delaye children include providing educational games, conducting speech therapy, consulting with psychologosts, self-therapy, school, and other supporting therapies, such as occupational therapy and behavioral theraphy.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between parenting styles and the independence of children aged 4-6 years. This research uses a quantitative approach using questionnaire data collection techniques and documentation. Respondents in the research were 40 parents of students. In the validity and reliability test using the SPSS 23.0 formula with a significance level of 5%. Next, test normality and linearity using the Kolmogorov-smimnov formula with significance < 0.05% in SPSS 23.0. Then the inferential statistical hypothesis testing is carried out using the Pearson Product Moment Correlation formula. The results of research using hypothesis testing show that parenting patterns with the independence of children aged 4-6 years obtained a correlation coefficient level of 0.530 with a significance of 0.000 (P<0.05), which means that parenting patterns have a sufficient relationship with children's independence. 4-6 years old. It can be concluded that the relationship shows a significant level of relationship. The parenting style that parents apply plays a role in forming children's independence.
