Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menemukan dan mendeskripsikan pola asuh orang tua dalam penerapan disiplin di kalangan warga belajar paket C. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif digunakan pada penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara dokumentasi, observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Orang tua warga belajar paket C di SKB telah menerapkan pola asuh yang berbeda-beda untuk anak-anak mereka. 2) Pola asuh orang tua yang demokratis dapat membentuk pendidikan dengan cara demokrasi belajar. Warga belajar yang memiliki karakter mandiri akan dapat melakukan dengan caranya sendiri dan percaya diri, mampu untuk melakukan pengontrolan diri, memiliki interaksi dengan teman baik serta mempunyai rasa percaya diri yang tinggi. Kedisiplinan dalam hal pengumpulan tugas yang rajin, dapat melaksanakan tugas dari tutor dengan baik, bertanya atas materi yang belum dimengerti serta secara teratur belajar di rumah merupakan contoh dampak kedisiplinan dari pola asuh demokratis. Orang tua pengadopsi pola pengasuhan otoriter akan membuat anak-anak terbentuk menjadi pribadi yang pemalu, pendiam, dan tertutup. Dikarenakan kedisiplinan warga belajar paket C yang terbentuk adalah warga belajar melakukan absensi setelah tutor berhenti menyampaikan materi melalui grup WA, pengumpulan tugas yang rajin, kepatuhan dalam mengerjakan tugas dari tutor, dan kurang disiplin selama pembelajaran. Sementara itu, pada pola pengasuhan permisif lebih dapat membentuk perilaku anak-anak yang kurang mandiri dan seenaknya sendiri. Konsekuensi dari ketidakdisiplinan warga belajar paket C adalah lupa untuk melakukan absen pada setiap mata pelajaran, tidak mengumpulkan tugas karena hanya ingin bermain saja, tidak mengikuti arahan tutor, bekerja pada jam belajar di rumah, tidak ikut pembelajaran online hingga selesai, selalu meminta bantuan dari orang lain untuk menyelesaikan suatu tugas.

Abstract

Mothers have an important role and become the main in forming attachments with children. The condition of working mothers allows for lack of time with children, impacting the attachment relationship between mother and child. The quality of the attachment between mother and child will impact the child's social-emotional development. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between the attachment of children and working mothers to the emotional and social development of early childhood at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 22 Surabaya. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach to the type of correlational research. The data analysis used is Product Moment correlation analysis. The number of respondents in this study was 32 working mothers who had children aged 4-6 years. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The study's results showed a correlation of 0.537 which means that there is a relationship between child attachment and working mothers on children's social-emotional development.

Abstract

Grandparenting is a parenting method carried out by grandparents. Actually in the family, parents are responsible for raising and educating their children. This study aims to describe the grandparenting style in improving the personality of early childhood in Jati Alun-Alun Village. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out using interviews, observation, and documentation. Then the data were analyzed using data collection, data condensation, data presentation, verification and conclusion. The results showed that (1) Grandparenting in Jati Alun-Alun Village mostly applied democratic parenting (2) Efforts made by grandparenting in shaping the personality of early childhood used several methods, namely instilling moral and religious values , applying discipline, giving reprimands and praise, helping children solve problems, and giving time for children (3) Obstacles faced by grandparenting in shaping the personality of early childhood in Jati Alun-Alun Village are conflicts between grandparenting and children's parents, age factor , and environmental factors.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of working mothers and non-working mothers on social emotional development of early childhood in RW 07 Tanjung Perak Sub-District, Surabaya City. This study examines the influence of working mothers and non-working mothers on social emotional development of early childhood. This type of research is Ex Post Facto Causal Comparative Research. The data in the study were taken using a questionnaire which was distributed to research respondents with a population of 62. The data analysis technique used the T test. The results showed that: (1) working mothers and non-working mothers have an influence on the social emotional development of young children (2) Mothers who do not work have a greater influence on the social emotional development of early childhood than working mothers. For working mothers and non-working mothers, it is hoped that they will be able to maintain and improve the social emotionality of their children.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bahwa menumbuhkan kecerdasan sosial emosional pada anak usia dini yaitu dengan adanya peran orang tua melalui positive parenting yang ada di Desa Kalirejo, Kecamatan Bojonegoro, Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 10 informan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa menumbuhkan kecerdasan sosial emosional pada anak usia dini bisa melalui cara sederhana yaitu orang tua dapat menerapkan positive parenting dengan memberikan motivasi dan dorongan kepada anak. Dengan adanya afirmasi positif pada anak dan memenuhi tangki kasih sayang anak menjadi factor pendukung dalam menumbuhkan kecerdasan sosial emosional. Agar komunikasi antara orang tua dan anak terjalin dengan baik, maka perlu adanya pendekatan yang dilakukan orang tua kepada anak dengan mengajak bermain dan belajar.

Abstract

Amid growing concerns regarding the erosion of self-regulation and rule adherence among young learners, this study investigates how short surah memorization contributes to discipline formation in early childhood. Conducted at TK Islam Bakti IV Surabaya, this qualitative case study involved students, teachers, and parents participating in a structured Quranic memorization program. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, then processed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The findings demonstrate that daily memorization routines significantly enhance children’s discipline, particularly in the areas of punctuality, responsibility, rule-following, and focus. Students who engaged consistently in memorization exhibited observable improvements in time management, task commitment, and behavioral self-regulation. Teachers structured learning schedules around specific surah targets, while parents extended reinforcement at home, creating a cohesive framework of habituation. Furthermore, spiritual motivation among students emerged as a strong internal driver sustaining disciplined behavior beyond external supervision. These outcomes affirm that religious memorization is not merely cognitive training but also a means of cultivating character values. The study highlights the significance of integrating faith-based habituation into early childhood character education to promote behavioral consistency and moral grounding. Nonetheless, the findings are limited by the single-site nature of the study and its culturally homogeneous participants. Broader research across diverse settings is recommended to validate the effectiveness of Quranic memorization in discipline development. Educational institutions are encouraged to design character education programs that harmonize religious values with structured behavioral reinforcement to support holistic child development.

Abstract

Moral education is a crucial element in building a generation with character, especially amid the challenges of social change and globalization. This article analyzes the importance of ethics in education with a philosophical and qualitative approach, focusing on the concept, theory, and practical application of moral values in the modern education system. The philosophical approach uses ethical theories, namely deontology, utilitarianism, and virtue ethics, to explore the relationship between moral principles and educational practices. The qualitative approach involves analysis of primary and secondary literature and contextual case studies. The results of the analysis show that moral education can improve interpersonal relationships in the school environment, shape socially responsible students and create an inclusive society. Strategies for implementing moral values include integration in the formal curriculum, extracurricular programs and the role of teachers as moral role models. However, obstacles identified include the lack of teacher training, the dominance of academic orientation in the education system and the challenges of multiculturalism. This article recommends educational reforms that emphasize value-based curriculum, intensive teacher training, and holistic measurement of success to balance cognitive and moral aspects. With the integration of ethics, the education system can shape individuals who are not only skilled but also have high moral integrity.This conclusion emphasizes the importance of moral education as the core of the modern education system, making it the main tool in creating a moral and welfare-oriented future generation. This article makes theoretical and practical contributions to the development of value-based education in the era of globalization. Abstract

This article discusses four main paradigms in the philosophy of science: Positivism, Post-positivism, Critical Theory, and Constructivism. These paradigms play a significant role in shaping research methodologies and perspectives on knowledge. Positivism is rooted in the belief that truth can be attained through empirical observation and deductive logic, while post-positivism acknowledges the limitations of objectivity and the importance of social context in knowledge formation. Critical Theory focuses on emancipating individuals from oppressive power structures, whereas Constructivism emphasizes the role of individuals in constructing reality. This article aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the concepts, comparisons, and applications of these paradigms in scientific research. Abstract

Pentingnya pengawasan orang tua terutama ibu dalam perkembangan anak usia golden age atau anal usia dini agar perkembangan dan pengetahuan mereka dapat optimal. Penelitian ini mengulas tentang Pengembangan Literasi Digital Anak Usia Dini Di Taman Kanak-Kanak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran ibu dalam pengembangan literasi digital anak usia dini. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun subjek penelitian terdiri dari Kepala Sekolah dan ibu dari peserta didik Taman Kanak-Kanak. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi dan peneliti sebagai instrument. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran ibu sangat diperlukan dalam pengembangan literasi digital bagi anak usia dini. Hal ini ditunjukkan pada faktor-faktor penting dan kemampuan literasi digital seorang ibu. Hal yang telah dikemukakan oleh H.& Riyanti bahwa kemampuan aksi literasi digital seorang ibu terikat dengan pembelajaran, kesenangan, kerja dan aspek lainnya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Faktor-faktor penting dalam menggunakan literasi digital dengan harapan penyaringan informasi berjalan benar dan baik. Faktor yang dimaksud oleh Hague & Payton yaitu keterampilan fungsional, komunikasi dan interaksi, yang terkakhir yakni berpikir kritis.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to examine the role of the Bunga Lestari Teacher Activity Center (PKG) Learning Community in enhancing the competency of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) educators in Bungah District, Gresik Regency. It focuses on how the learning community contributes to pedagogic, personal, social, and professional competencies of PAUD educators amidst the implementation of the independent curriculum. Method: A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation among members of the PKG Bunga Lestari community consisting of educators from preschool institutions in Bungah. The study analyzed the forms of competency improvements, the community’s role as a learning platform, and factors supporting or inhibiting its effectiveness.  Results: Findings show that the PKG Bunga Lestari Learning Community effectively facilitates professional development by enabling peer discussion, sharing of best practices, and overcoming challenges related to the independent curriculum. Educators reported improved pedagogical skills and increased confidence in curriculum implementation. The community also helped disseminate government policies related to early childhood education. Novelty: This research contributes novel empirical evidence on the practical impacts of a structured learning community within a rural Indonesian context. It highlights the PKG Bunga Lestari community as a sustainable, collaborative model of strengthens educational policy advocacy and local networking, offering valuable insights for similar educational settings.
