Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the effect of the electronic application SIKEPO (Online Employee Attendance Information System) from the rule set 2 times a day attendance then changed to 4 times. This study uses explanatory research with a mix-method approach. The data collection process was carried out by distributing questionnaires and also direct interviews with respondents who were selected by random sampling—testing the data using SEM-PLS. The measurement model is studied through two subs, namely the first: through the outer model. The external model with measurements was assessed through Cronbach alpha and composite reliability. Second, the inner model is studied through the Coefficient of determination (R2 )and the path coefficient. After the 2 sub-tests were carried out, was continued hypothesis testing as well. The results of this hypothesis test indicate that the SIKEPO electronic presence variable has a positive and significant effect on improving the performance of civil servants during the Covid-19 pandemic, so the hypothesis is accepted. Furthermore, the application of electronic SIKEPO does not have a positive and significant effect on improving the work discipline of civil servants during the Covid-19 pandemic, so the hypothesis is rejected. Where the work discipline variable has a T statistic of 0.403 where the value is lower than the standard T statistic of 1.96, besides the P value of 0.687, the hypothesis is rejected. Keywords: SIKEPO; Performance; Work Discipline; Civil Servants; and Covid-19

Abstract

Indonesia is estimated to be one of the largest plastic-producing countries in the world. The high use of plastic will cause people to become dependent on plastic. However, dependence on plastic has a destructive impact, which makes plastic potentially harmful to human health and the environment; Greenpeace shares this concern and makes it the basis for organizing a campaign. This study aims to analyze and see how the Greenpeaceid account interacts with Twitter social media accounts through mentions and hashtags used to drive for handling plastic waste in Indonesia. This study uses qualitative research, which uses Q-DAS (Qualitative Data Analysis Software) to analyze the data; the software used is Nvivo 12 Plus. The result of this research is that Greenpeaceid uses social media as a media campaign related to the issue of plastic waste pollution. The social media used by Greenpeace is twitter; on this social media, the form of a campaign is carried out by using #Pantangplastik and #Breakfreefrompalstic, which contains various documentation related to suitable actions in managing plastic waste so that the environment is not polluted again. The existence of the #Pantangplastik Campaign will gradually reduce the use of plastic waste.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze biofuel use from oil palm as an alternative source of sustainable development. Data were obtained from the Scopus database with the last five years of publication. This research method uses a qualitative approach to the study of literature. Data analysis used bibliometric analysis with Vosviewer and NVIVO 12 plus software. The findings of this study indicate that several countries have used palm oil-based biodiesel as a transportation fuel, one of which is that Indonesia is the leading country in taking advantage of this opportunity. This can be seen from the development of the B30 from government and biodiesel programs which have become triggers for rising CPO prices worldwide and have impacted Fresh Fruit Bunches at the farm level. The study also found fluctuations in the publication of scientific research on biofuels. The most significant contribution to research articles comes from Malaysia. The university with the most number is University Malaya. The following research areas have the potential for further study: production of biofuels, vegetable oils, renewable diesel, and bio. Production energy, biodiesel, biomass, and biofuels are narratives of scientific research papers related to biofuels.

Abstract

This article discusses Smart Indonesia Program Education Policies in the Perspective of Sustainable Development in Indonesia. A qualitative research approach based on social phenomena and human problems. In data collection, the authors obtained from literature studies in the form of online media coverage, the most recent websites, scientific articles of previous research, and government reports through the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. The findings of this study is that the drop-out figure had never been reached last year. Five out of 1,000 primary school students dropped out of school in 2017. However, this number is increasing at the secondary school level. That is, 30 out of 1,000 children drop out of school. Four out of 1,000 primary school students dropped out of school in 2019. However, this number is increasing at the high school level, where 18 out of 1,000 children drop out of school. Thus, the Smart Indonesia policy has not been able to become a sustainable development solution in the education sector because Indonesia did not reach the minimum drop goal last year

Abstract

One of the sustainable development goals (SDGs) is point 3: good health and well-being. This study aims to determine how people’s mental health fared during the COVID-19 pandemic. A library review is the most appropriate method to analyze mental health issues during the COVID-19 pandemic for the past three years. This study is based on articles that met international standards and data collected while searching for a database on Scopus. The results of the study on mental health issues during this pandemic were quite bad because of several government policies that changed people’s lifestyles, causing various levels of anxiety in the community so that stress and depression emerged in the community, even though the government decided to break the chain of the spread of COVID-19. Factors that affect mental health during the pandemic, namely significant lifestyle changes that limit the space for people to move, which result in depression, stress, and sleep disturbances that can cause death, become a pressure on the community, which can worsen people’s thinking and result in a decrease in community immunity. Ignorance and fear of the COVID-19 pandemic, with lockdowns and the economic crisis, have increased mental illness leading to suicide.
