Abstract

Perancangan penataan kawasan zona 4 pekojan dengan pendekatan arsitektur prilaku, yang di latar belakangi dengan adanya kondisi kawasan yang merupakan kawasan organik yang padat dan  kumuh serta banyak etnis . selain itu kawasan zona 4 juga terdapat bangunan bersejarah yang berupa masjid yang merupakan pusat kegiatan masyarakat kawasan tersebut, Untuk menanggapi hal tersebut perancangan ini mengambil pendekatan arsitektur perilaku. Arsitektur perilaku bertujuan untuk menciptakan tempat yang sesuai dan optimal dengan perilaku pengguna.  Konsep yang dihasilkan pada perencanaan dan perancangan penataan kawasan zona 4 di Jakarta berupa ruang yang mendukung kegiatan masyarakat setempat yang sebelumnya dilakukan analisis tapak, analisis konsep, dan analisis ruang.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Perpustakaan Pusat Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta merupakan sebuah sarana yang disediakan untuk pemeliharaan dan penggunaan koleksi buku. Perpustakaan Pusat Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta berfungsi untuk mewadahi berbagai kegiatan yang berhubungan dengan membaca dan mengakses data yang diperlukan oleh mahasiswa dan mahasiswi Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta. Tujuan dari perancangan ini adalah untuk mewujudkan suatu Perpustakaan Pusat Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta dengan pendekatan analogi yang membuka wawasan terhadap perencanaan dan perancangan perpustakaan di Indonesia. Rumusan permasalahan perancangan pencarian pengetahuan, bagaimana Perpustakaan dapat menjadi menjadi landmark di lingkungan Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta, bagaimana menerapkan pendekatan analogi dalam desain Perpustakaan Pusat Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam laporan ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data, analisa, dan penusunan konsep. Dengan hal tersebut, maka Perpustakaan Pusat Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta ini nantinya diharapkan menjadi Pepustakaan yang dapat mewadahi kebutuhan ruang dan menjadi landmark sehingga meningkatkan minat baca akademisi Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta di Cirendeu.Kata Kunci : Perpustakaan, Pusat, Universitas, Muhammadiyah, JakartaABSTRACT. Central Library of Univrsitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta is a means provided for the maintenance and use of book collections. Central Library of Univrsitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta Jakarta serves to accommodate various activities related to reading and accessing data required by all student of Univrsitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta. The purpose of this project is to plan a Central Library of Univrsitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta with an analogical approach as an insight into the knowledge of library planning in Indonesia. The formulation of the problem is knowledge research, how the Library can become a landmark in the Univrsitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta how to apply the analogical approach in the design of Central Library of Univrsitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta. The methods in this report archived by data collection, analysis, and conceptualization methods. Abstract

Kampung Melayu is one of the flood-prone areas in East Jakarta. An annual flood which occurs in this village often immersed residents up two meters tall. Slum condition of the village as the effect of adjacent location with the Ciliwung River and the post-flood condition caused a poor environment for the community. Therefore, the arrangement of flood-prone areas in Kampung Melayu aims to improve the quality of life for the community and environment which is in accordance with the regulations of the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta, accommodates the needs of facilities and infrastructure of the settlement, and creates the image of urban kampong culture in Kampung Melayu. It is necessary to arrange flood-prone areas with the concept of vertical kampong in Kampung Melayu. The method of preparing the concept used is theoretical basis and field observation, data processing, and data analysis to compose the concept of planning and design “Penataan Kawasan Rawan Banjir dengan Konsep Kampung Vertikal di Kampung Melayu”.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Apple. Inc adalah salah satu perusahaan teknologi komputerisasi besar berskala dunia yang begitu luar biasa prestasi penjualan dan importnya di Indonesia. Apple. Inc sendiri sudah mendirikan kantor pusat penelitian dan pengembangan terbarunya yang berpusat di Cupertino, California, Amerika Serikat. Markas besar terbaru Apple.Inc diwacanakan akan dibangun di Cina dan di Brazil, serta berbagai kantor cabang atau penjualan (Apple store) diseluruh dunia. Sedangkan di Indonesia Apple.Inc hanya membuka cabang kecil yang menyewa bangunan di World Trade Centre II Senayan, Jakarta. Desain Perencanaan Kantor Pusat Penelitian dan Pengembangan Teknologi Apple di Jakarta  memperhatikan  potensi kawasan tapak (pusat bisnis dan perbelanjaan), Sosial dan Ekonomi yang ada dengan konsep bangunan pintar untuk mewujudkan Kantor Penelitian dan Pengembangan Teknologi Apple yang memiliki kualitas baik. Hasil desain nantinya dapat menjadi bangunan percontohan yang baik dan hemat biaya maupun energi dengan memanfaatkan kemajuan teknologi. Kata Kunci : Apple, Kantor Pusat, Bangunan Pintar, Hemat Energi, TeknologiABSTRACT. Apple. Inc. is one of the major world-scale computerized technology that has outstanding sales and import achievement in Indonesia. Apple. Inc. itself has established newest research and development center based in Cupertino, California, United States. The latest Apple.Inc discourse headquarters will be built in China and Brazil, as well as various branch offices or store (Apple store) around the world. Apple.Inc just open a small branch in Indonesia by renting a building in the World Trade Centre II Senayan, Jakarta. Design and planning Apple Research and Technological Development Office in Jakarta pay attention to site area’s potential (business and shopping center), existig social and economic condition with the concept of smart buildings to create the Apple Research and Technological Development Office with good quality. Abstract

The suitability between building function and building type is very influential on the sustainability of that building, especially for historical buildings that should be preserved, it is like Toko Merah in Kota Tua Jakarta. The Toko Merah is a cultural heritage building which means that the building must be protected, preserved and the façade building cannot be changed, which is allowed only to reuse it or so-called Adaptive Re-Use. Currently the Toko Merah serves as a meeting or wedding hall. This study finds out the suitability of the current Toko Merah’s function as a meeting or wedding hall based on the perception of the community surrounding that heritage building. This research is an explorative research with statistical descriptive analysis method. The method of determining the sample by purposive sampling, data collection technique is survey by means of data collection that is questioner. The results of this study said 70% of the respondents stated that the Toko Merah is not suitable to be used as a meeting hall and wedding building.

Abstract

Kegiatan pendampingan masyarakat dalam pengembangan perencanaan Masjid Al-Barkah di Cipedak, Ciganjur, Jakarta Selatan ini merupakan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat yang dilakukanoleh Program Studi Arsitektur, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta. Kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu bentuk kepedulian Program Studi Arsitektur FT UMJ dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas dan kemampuan masyarakat baik dalam menentukan keputusan dalam hal ini sebagai pemegang keputusan, maupun kemampuan dalam menerjemahkan sebuah kebutuhan ke dalam skematik disain. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi masyarakat khususnya para pengurus masjid dan pemangku keputusan di dalam msayarakat dalam memberikan solusi disain pada perencanaan pengembangan bangunan masjid yang semula hanya satu lantai menjadi dua lantai. Kegiatan pendampingan ini dilakukan dalam tiga tahapan kegiatan, tahap pertama meliputi observasi lapangan, kegiatan kedua berupa diskusi kelompok antar warga dan pengurus masjid dalam menentukan kebutuhan dan memberikan keputusan-keputusan terkait disain pengembangan dan tahap terakhir adalah eksekusi dari disain pengembangan perencanaan Masjid Al-Barkah yang dibantu oleh para mahasiswa Program Studi Arsitektur FT UMJ. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan pendampingan masyarakat ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pembelajaran bagi masyarakat dalam menentukan keputusan terkait dengan disain sesuai kebutuhan pengguna dalam hal ini tentunya masyarakat sekitar Masjid Al-Barkah.

Abstract

Container is a component that has many sizes and types, in various countries, containers are used as containers to deliver goods. But the last 20 years make containers as a residence is a trend that began to be populer, especially around the port area. The use of containers is one of the right choices because the components are modular and easy to move around, but the construction aspect also needs to be considered in the preparation of those components. The purpose of this research is to understand the concept of modular architecture applied to the occupancy of Cité A Docks Student Housing, either modular system or modular structure using the main components in the form of containers. The research method used in this study is qualitative descriptive with research variables using modular theory from Le Corbusier and prefabricated architectural theory from Ryan E. Smith. The findings of this study obtained that the Cite a Docks building has established the concept of modular architecture, either in the quality of each module of space or on the structure of the building. Each room module size is in accordance with the capacity of each occupant and considers the human scale as the size of each room. In the overall prefabricated structure system already uses steel prefabricated components, but there are different materials on the foundation components, which use reinforced concrete precast materials. Although materially there are 2 types of steel and reinforced concrete, but the entire component of this building has used modular components. Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries that has a tropical climate with 2 seasons namely dry season and rainy season, the rainy season in Indonesia has a large average rainfall rate of 50mm / baseline and an average temperature of 20 °C. Indonesia Has a large diversity of flaura and fauna, one of which is teak wood which is the best wood produced from Indonesia that has high quality, straight-stemmed and can grow up to a height of 30-40 meters on the Java islands. Rustic architecture is a concept that focuses on the natural impression so as to produce a warm atmosphere on the application of the concept. Rustic architecture concept has basic principles as a reference application of rustic architecture concept in designing restaurant buildings, namely the use of dominant wood materials, unfinished on the wall, the use of materials derived from nature, the use of natural colors on the part of the shaper of the room, namely walls, floors and ceilings, the last is to use materials that impress old. This research uses qualitative descriptive method to know about the application of rustic architecture in restaurant buildings, the analysis is done in a qualitative descriptive way with a reference to the principles of rustic architecture. The purpose of this research aims to know the application of rustic architectural principles to restaurant buildings. The conclusion obtained is that rustic architecture can be applied to the restaurant using rustic architectural principles so as to make the atmosphere of the restaurant warm and natural in its application Keyword: Rustic Architecture, Natural, Restaurant

Abstract

Kawasan Kowloon Hongkong merupakan kawasan perkotaan di Hongkong yang terdiri dari Semenanjung Kowloon and New Kowloon, Kawasan ini merupakan pusat kota dari negara hongkong yang mempunyai mobilitas tinggi. Kawasan kowloon memiliki beragam fasilitas seperti perkantoran, komersial, bisnis, fasilitas umum, residensial, konservasi, dan rerkreasi. Arsitektur kawasan sebagian besar memiliki gaya internasional atau modern yang menjadikan infrastruktur nya memiliki kualitas baik dan menjadi daya tarik bagi pengunjungnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep imagability dan permeability dalam pengembangan kawasan pusat kota Kowloon dengan menggunakan teori kevin lynch. Imageability merupakan penggambaran kualitas fisik yang dimiliki suatu objek atau kawasan. Permeability merupakan kualitas aksesibilitas dan aktivitas pergerakan manusia pada suatu kawasan. Kawasan Kowloon memiliki imageability dan permeability yang baik yang menjadikan kawasan ini legibility.

Abstract

Architecture is closely related to masculine traits due to the intervention of experts in the modern era. Existence became greatly reduced because of the feminism movement in architecture that had taken the attention of activists of architectural practice. Therefore, to bring back insights on the concept of masculine architecture, this research was conducted. In this study, qualitative descriptives were used as a method, as was the concept of masculine architecture that was not expected to be measured through quantitative data. In this method is very focused on the literature data due to the current conditions that can not make a direct visit to the site of the case study. The preferred case study is the Guggenheim museum in Bilbao, Spain. In data collection of course refers to the principles of masculine architecture. These principles include natural impressions on elements, color selection, industrial-style ornaments, and the use of steel materials. Some of these principles are further identified in the architectural elements that are considered capable of displaying a masculine architectural impression on this Guggenheim museum building. The result of this identification proves that every principle of masculine architecture is able to be presented very well to the building elements of this Guggenheim museum. In addition, we also find about the implementation strategy that is considered optimal to bring the impression of masculine architecture to a museum building, while still presenting something innovative but still has its own characteristics.
