Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui minat mahasiswa terhadap film berbahasa arab dan pengaruhnya terhadap pembelajaran bahasa arab di era teknologi yang berkembang pesat saat ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitia menggunakan metode kuantitatif melalui kuisioner yang di sebarkan kepada 20 responden mahasiswa pendidikan bahasa arab di Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten. Hasil penelitian di atas menunjukkan pengaruh video film berbahasa arab seabagai media pembelajaran maharah istima yang cukup signifikan, banyak mahasiswa yang setuju akan hal tersebut. Meskipun tak banyak dari mereka yang betu-betul memberdayakan media film berbahasa arab secara konsisten, sebagian besar dari mahasiswa prodi pendidikan bahasa arab tidak sering menonton film berbahasa arab untuk pembelajaran, terutama untuk pembelajaran istima.

Abstract

After achieving success with the #LoveAvoskinLoveEarth initiative, Avoskin continues its efforts by launching a new eco-friendly campaign called #MulaiDariMejaRias. In this campaign, Avoskin invites skincare product users to be more careful in choosing care items, and to use appropriate products for simplicity and sustainability. Brand image plays a very important role in marketing its products. One way to build a positive view in the community is through campaign activities. This study aims to analyze the impact of the message from the #MulaiDariMejaRias campaign via Instagram @avoskinbeauty, assess Avoskin's Brand Image related to the campaign, and evaluate the influence of public relations messages in the #MulaiDariMejaRias campaign on Avoskin's Brand Image on Instagram. The theory applied in this study refers to Messages from Perloff (2017), Soemirat, Soleh & Ardianto (2018) regarding brand image variables. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with a survey method to 86 respondents of Instagram followers @avoskinbeauty, using a random sampling technique. The research results showed a 41% impact of the #MulaiDariMejaRias public relations campaign message on Avoskin's brand image on Instagram. Furthermore, the #MulaiDariMejaRias campaign message was emotionally and linguistically effective, and the campaign successfully improved brand image through audience attitudes.

Abstract

The creation of the regional song "Mbali Mbojo Ku" was motivated by the desire to express love, longing, and pride for the birthplace of Bima (Mbojo) through music as a medium of cultural expression. This song was created to maintain the existence of the language and regional cultural values ​​that are starting to be eroded by modernization, as well as to rekindle the spirit of love for local identity among the younger generation. Through a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques, this research focuses on the meaning, function, and social context of the song's creation. The results show that "Mbali Mbojo Ku" represents a deep emotional bond between the creator and his birthplace, where the poetic Mbojo lyrics and touching melody depict longing, pride, and commitment to preserving Bima culture. This song not only serves as a medium of personal expression, but also as a unifying tool for the Mbojo community and an educational tool that strengthens awareness of the importance of preserving local cultural heritage amidst the currents of globalization.

Abstract

Content-Based Instruction learning is an approach that integrates language learning with materials or topics that are relevant to students’ daily lives. At SMAN 1 Pandeglang, students’ mastery of Arabic vocabulary is still considered less effective because the learning process still uses conventional methods, causing students’ learning interest to be relatively low. This study aims to determine the effect of using the Content-Based Instruction method on students’ Arabic vocabulary mastery. The research employed a quantitative method with a true experimental design, specifically a pretest–posttest control group design. The subjects of this study consisted of 50 students divided into two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. Data collection techniques were carried out through tests (pretest and posttest) and questionnaires covering five aspects: vocabulary application, vocabulary mastery, ease of understanding the material, participation, and students’ perceptions of the learning process. The results of the study indicate that the use of the Content-Based Instruction method has a significant effect on improving students’ Arabic vocabulary mastery. Therefore, the Content-Based Instruction method can be used as an alternative learning approach that is more effective than conventional methods.
