Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas  kunci determinasi dan flashcard sebagai media pembelajaran inkuiri pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup terhadap hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa kelas VII SMP N 16 Pekalongan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre-Experimental Design dengan desain One-Shot Case Study. Populasi penelitian ini merupakan  kelas VII yang terdiri atas lima kelas. Sampel penelitian diambil tiga kelas dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dari ketiga kelas sampel penelitian mampu mencapai indikator kinerja. Persentase aktivitas siswa ≥ 90 %, sedangkan analisis hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan persentase ketuntasan klasikal ≥ 91%. Di samping itu, sebagian besar siswa dan guru IPA kelas VII memberikan tanggapan yang positif terhadap desain pembelajaran ini. Penerapan pembelajaran dengan pemanfaatan kunci determinasi dan flashcard sebagai media pembelajaran inkuiri pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup terbukti efektif terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP N 16 Pekalongan.Abstract:This research aims to examine the effectiveness of determination key and flashcard as a inquiry learning tool for the living things’ classification subject based toward the result of learning and student activity of VII grade in SMP N 16 Pekalongan. This Research belongs to the Pre-Experimental Design with One-Shot Case Study. The population of this research were students on VII grade which consist of five  classes. Sample taken for this research was three classes with cluster random sampling technique. The result of this research show that result of learning and student activity from the third sample classes can reach the indicator of the successfulness. Percentage of student activity is ≥ 90%, while analysis result of learning student shows that percentage of completeness classical is ≥ 91%. In addition, almost all the students and the science teacher of VII grade give positive feedback toward this learning design. Applying the study using determination key and flashcard as a inquiry learning tool for the living things’ classification subject based has been proven as an effective way toward the result of learning and student activity of VII grade in SMP N 16 Pekalongan.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Menelaah Kompetensi dasar materi ekologi yang terdapat pada silabus kurikulum 2013 ternyata sangat representative dilakukan proses pembelajaran dengan strategi outdoor learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan validitas, kepraktisan  dan keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran ekologi SMA dengan strategi outdoor learning. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hal-hal sebagai berikut: Rata-rata nilai untuk perangkat pembelajaran ekologi SMA dengan strategi outdoor learning 3,69 dengan kategori sangat baik. Penerapan pembelajaran ekologi SMA dengan strategi outdoor learning dapat meningkatkan nilai kognitif peserta didik dari 69,12 menjadi 79,75. Sebanyak 73,435 % peserta didik memperolah nilai baik pada aspek afektif dan 26,565% memperoleh nilai baik sekali. Sebanyak 100% nilai baik pada aspek psikomotor. Proses belajar mengajar sebagaimana dirancang dalam perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan  mendapat respon positif dari 78,12% peserta didik dan penilaian observer pada keterlaksanaan pembelajaran mendapat rata-rata nilai 3,53 yang termasuk kategori sangat baik. Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ Realizing that the basic competence of ecological material in the syllabus of curriculum 2013 can be best carried out by outdoor learning strategy. The results show following matters: The average of learning outcomes in learning ecology by learning outdoor strategyis 3,69 with very good category. The implementation of ecological learning in high school by outdoor learning strategies able to increase students cognitive value from 69,12 into 79,75, 73,435% students obtained good score on affective aspects and 26,565% obtained excellent score. 100% student obtained good score on psychomotor aspects. Teaching and learning process as designed in the learning device developed got a positive response from the 78,12% of learners and observation of the observer revealed that the feasibility of the learning process got the average value 3,53 which is included a very good category.

Abstract

Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ Biology as one branch of science has its own characteristics compared to other natural sciences. Studying biology means attempting to know living organisms and life processes in environments that require the approach and methods to characterize and basic work in developing the concept. Learners will be more obtain the value of education when they find their own concepts about the surrounding nature through scientific process. The research objective was to determine the affective aspects of material analysis Biodiversity Approach assisted JAS Education Card. The study was conducted in June-October 2016. This study is quasy Experimental research design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study population throughout the class X SMA N 1 Limbangan 2016/2017 academic year was consisting of six classes. The research sample is determined by purposive sampling, ie classes and class X 5 X 6 as an experimental class and class X 2 as the control class. The data collection is done by observation. The results showed that the percentage of classical completeness the experimental class at 86.2%. Based on analysis of the experimental class, it shows affective criteria very well.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) dengan media Fotonovela keanekaragaman hayati terhadap kemampuan psikomotorik siswa di SMAN 1 Boja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Eksperimental Design dengan bentuk Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X semester gasal tahun ajaran 2016/2017 sebanyak sembilan kelas. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu kelas X MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X MIPA 5 sebagai kelas kontrol. Data diperoleh dengan nilai produk, aktivitas siswa pada saat presentasi dan nilai akhir siswa, kemudian data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil analisis rerata nilai akhir siswa kelas eksperimen yaitu 3,52 dengan predikat A-, sedangkan kelas kontrol yaitu 2,94 dengan predikat B. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai rerata kelas eksperimen lebih dari kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) dengan media Fotonovela keanekaragaman hayati efektif terhadap kemampuan psikomotorik siswa di SMAN 1 Boja. Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This study aimed to test the effectiveness of the learning model Project Based Learning (PjBL) with media fotonovela biodiversity against psychomotor abilities of students at SMAN 1 Boja. This study uses Quasi Experimental Design with shapes Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were students of class X odd semester of 2016/2017 academic year as many as nine classes. Sampling using purposive sampling, that the class X MIPA as an experimental class 1 and class X MIPA 5 as the control class. Data obtained by the value of the product, student activities at the time of presentation and final grades of students, then the data were analyzed descriptively. The results of the analysis of the average value of the final grade students experiment ie 3.52 predicate A-, while the control class that is 2,94 with the predicate B. So it can be concluded that the average value of the experimental class more than the control class. Based on the results of this study concluded that the learning model Project Based Learning (PPA) with media biodiversity fotonovela effective against psychomotor abilities of students at SMAN 1 Boja.

Abstract

The challenge of improving the 21st-century education quality in the industrial revolution 4.0 erais that graduates are expected to have theknowledge skills, abilities in the field of technology, information media, and learning innovation skills for life and career skills. This research was aimed to develop a digital fungi pocketbook in Mount Merbabu National Park to improve student learning outcomes. This research was a Research and Development (R&D) study, which used the Gall, Gall, and Borg model. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive data analysis related to the validity of responses from users, while the N-gain test was used to determine the product's effectiveness. The results showed (1) the digital pocketbook developed had very valid criteria regarding aspects of media, language, and material (2) students and teachers gave responses to the digital pocketbook used in learning with very valid response criteria (3) the value of learning outcomes students showed improvement with moderate N-Gain scores. Thus, the digital pocketbook that was developed can be used as an additional learning source in learning Natural Sciences (Biology) in the face of the 21st century and the industrial revolution 4.0.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the plants species resources and the validity of Module according to the material experts, media experts, and teacher experts, to analyze the practicality, as well as the effectiveness of learning outcomes. This research used the R&D method. This research was conducted using the ADDIE method which was conducted at Islamic High School of Baitussalam involving 2 classes with 62 students in total. Descriptive data analysis was used. The results of the research on biodiversity in the Kreo Cave area which included the levels of genes, species, and ecosystems, found the results of each of the three levels of biodiversity totaling 24 types of plants which are the gene level 2 species, at the species level 7 species and at the ecosystem level at 15 species. The Module of plant species resources in the Kreo Cave area is theoretically feasible by means of validation sheets for material experts, media experts, and teacher experts with respective scores of 76%, 80%, and 81%, or are in the valid category. Student responses to the Module as a learning resource indicate that the Module is very valid. This is proven from the results of small-scale trials that reach an average value of 72% or are in good criteria. Student learning outcomes assessed during the learning process using Modules showed very good results. This is proven by the increase in students' cognitive from an average of 44.18 to 79.6..

Abstract

The Mangunharjo mangrove area is one of the mangrove ecosystems in the coastal area of Semarang City. This study aims to determine the diversity and abundance of bird species, as well as the similarity index of bird communities in the Mangunharjo mangrove area. Data were collected using the point count method in the observation area including ponds, mangroves, rice fields, and beaches. Data collection was carried out periodically from July 2019 to February 2020 with three replications in each area. The results showed that in the Mangunharjo mangrove area there were 66 species of birds from 32 families. The Shannon-Wiener diversity index in the observation area, from the highest to the lowest, were ponds 3.10 (high), mangroves 2.81 (medium), rice fields 2.75 (medium), and beaches 2.66 (moderate). The dominant bird species in the area are the Linci Swallow (15.73%) and the Little Egret (10.61%). While the areas that had the highest Sorensen species similarity index were ponds and mangroves with an index value of 62.5%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui keanekaragaman jenis kupu-kupu (Lepidoptera: Rhopalocera) di kawasan Cagar Alam (CA) Ulolanang Kecubung, Kabupaten Batang. Metode sampling dalam penelitian ini adalah metode garis transek di area hutan sekunder dan area padang rumput/semak CA Ulolanang Kecubung. Data pengamatan meliputi jenis kupu-kupu dan jumlah individu tiap jenis. Data dianalisis dengan indeks keanekaragaman Shanon-Wiener (H’), indeks kekayaan jenis Margalef (DMg), indeks kemerataan jenis (E) dan indeks Dominansi Simpson (D). Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan total kupu-kupu yang tercatat di kedua area adalah 121 jenis, terdiri dari lima familia Rhopalocera. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa area hutan sekunder secara umum memiliki nilai indeks keanekaragaman jenis Rhopalocera lebih tinggi (H’= 3,93) dibanding area padang rumput/semak (H’= 3,08). Familia kupu-kupu dengan jumlah jenis terbanyak di kedua area pengamatan adalah Nymphaldiae (54 jenis), sementara familia dengan jumlah individu terbanyak adalah Pieridae (461 individu).This research aimed to know the biodiversity of butterfly (Lepidoptera: Rhopalocera) of Ulolanang Kecubung Nature Preserve (NP) at Batang regency. Sampling method that used is line transect method in secondary forest and meadow areas of Ulolanang Kecubung NP. Monitoring data are include butterfly species and number of each species. Data is analyzed with Shanon-Wiener biodiversity index (H’), Margalef richness index (DMg), evenness index (E) and Simpson domination index (D). The result show that are recorded 121 butterfly  species that consist of five Rhopalocera families. Data analysis result showed that the biodiversity index of secondary forest area is higher (H’= 3,93) than meadow area (H’= 3,08). The butterfly family that has the greatest number of species in both areas is Nymphalidae (54 species), in the meantime the family which has the greatest number of butterfly individual is Pieridae (461 individual).

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mengeksplorasi keanekaragaman jenis ektoparasit pada burung paruh bengkok Famili Psittacidae di Taman Margasatwa Semarang. Populasi dan sampel penelitian adalah ektoparasit yang ditemukan pada 3 jenis burung paruh bengkok. Penelitian dilakukan pada tanggal 23 September sampai 23 Oktober 2013. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif menggunakan light trap dan penyisiran bagian tubuh burung meliputi kepala, tubuh, sayap dan ekor. Hasil pengamatan didapatkan 7 jenis ektoparasit, terdiri atas ordo Diptera meliputi Pseudolynchia canariensis, Chrysomya megacephala, Aedes sp, Culex sp, Anopheles sp dan ordo Mallophaga meliputi Menopon sp, Gonicotes sp. Bagian ekor paling banyak ditemukan ektoparasit yaitu Menopon sp, Gonicotes sp dan Pseudolynchia Canariensis, sedangkan pada bagian kepala tidak ditemukan ektoparasit. Jenis burung Cacatua sulphurea yang banyak terserang ektoparasit, hal ini dikarenakan kebersihan dan pemeliharaan kandang yang kurang diperhatikan. Gangguan ektoparasit pada burung paruh bengkok menyebabkan bulu rontok dan iritasi pada kulit. Hal ini dapat membuat burung gelisah, lebih diam dan nafsu makan berkurang karena iritasi pada kulit. Lingkungan kandang burung yang dekat dengan kebun menyebabkan ektoparasit yang tertangkap Light trap adalah dari jenis nyamuk (Aedes sp, Culex sp dan Anopheles sp). The aim of this research was exploring the diversity of ectoparasites found on parrot bird from the Family of Psittacidae in Semarang Zoo. This study was conducted on 23 September 2013 – 23 October 2013. There were methods used deskriptif kualitatif in this study was wholebody screening include head, body, wings, tail and light trap. Based on the observation there were obtained 7 types of ectoparasites that consist Diptera ordo includes Pseudolynchia canariensis, Chrysomya megacephala, Aedes sp, Culex sp, Anopheles sp and Mallophaga ordo includes Menopon sp, Gonicotes sp. The tail was founded ectoparatises is Menopon sp, Gonicotes sp and Pseudolynchia Canariensis, no ectoparasite were found on head. The samples from C. sulphurea have been attacked by ectoparasite because the cleanness and cage maintenance was less concerned. These ectoparasites infection had caused leather fall and skin irritation. While the ectoparasites found on the cage which located around garden are caught by light trap and most of them are mosquitoes; Aedes sp, Culex sp dan Anopheles sp. Mosquitoes bites are the vectors of several diseases and it may disturb the bird in the night.

Abstract

Julang Emas (Rhyticeros undulatus) merupakan salah satu jenis burung rangkong yang terdapat di Gunung Ungaran, Indonesia. Burung Julang Emas termasuk hewan yang dilindungi UU No. 5 tahun 1990 tentang Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam Hayati dan Ekosistemnya. Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) telah mengkategorikan burung rangkong dalam daftar appendiks II. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengamati perilaku makan Julang Emas pada saat bersarang dan mengumpulkan data buah pakan di Gunung Ungaran. Data yang diambil adalah cara Julang Emas memberi makan ke dalam sarang, waktu dan jumlah kehadiran memberi makan, dan jenis buah pakan yang diberikan ke dalam sarang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Julang Emas jantan memberi makan induk betina dengan cara memuntahkan satu per satu buah pakan, kemudian diposisikan pada ujung paruhnya dan mengoperkannya ke ujung paruh betina di dalam sarang. Julang Emas jantan cenderung memberi makan sebanyak 1–4 kali dalam sehari. Dalam sekali kedatangan, Julang jantan dapat mambawa buah pakan 2–48 buah di dalam kantung lehernya. Waktu yang paling sering digunakan Julang Emas memberi makan adalah antara pukul 15.00–16.00 WIB. Julang jantan mampu memberi makan dengan laju yang cukup tinggi (9–10 buah per menit). Jenis buah yang paling banyak dikonsumsi oleh Julang Emas di Gunung Ungaran adalah dari famili Lauraceae 10 jenis (34%), dan famili  Moraceae (Ficus) tujuh jenis (23%). Wreathed Hornbill (Rhyticeros undulatus) is one of hornbill spesies found in Mount Ungaran, Indonesia. Wreathed Hornbill is belong to protected animals Law No. 5 of 1990 on the Conservation of Natural Resources and Ecosystems. Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species of Wild Fauna And Flora (CITES) has categorized hornbill in the appendix II. The objective of the study was to observe the feeding behavior during the breeding season and collect fruit data Wreathed Hornbill on Mount Ungaran. The collected data is how Wreathed Hornbill feed into the nest, time and attendance feed to the nest, and the type of fruit that given to the nest.  The results showed the male Wreathed Hornbill feeding the female by regurgigated one fruit, then position it on tip of the bill and passed it to the female in the nest. The males tend to eat as many as 1-4 times a day. In one arrival, the male Hornbill can take 2-48 fruit in his esophagus. The most commonly time used by Wreathed Hornbill is between 03.00-04.00 PM. Male hornbill able to spend as much fruit 9-10 fruit per minute. Most fruit consumed by Wreathed Hornbill in Mount Ungaran is from the family Lauraceae 10 species (34%), and family Moraceae (Ficus) seven types (23%).
