Abstract

SMK has an important role in the preparation of labor. SMK is required to always be able to follow the needs of the work world that continues to grow in accordance with the vision and mission objectives of SMK. This study aims to 1) to know the readiness of teaching factory implementation, 2) to identify problems of teaching factori application. This research uses quantitative descriptive. Source of data obtained from SMKN 2 Pandeglang, SMP Ypp Pandeglang, SMKN 7 Pandeglang, SMKN Agriculture Serang City, SMKN 1 Cikande, SMKN 1 Cilegon And Smkn 4 Serang City, the number of respondents amounted to 30 respondents. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire of 30 items. Technique of data analysis using quantitative descriptive statistic. Implementation of Teaching Factory Result to Student Competence Improvement, showed that 1) acquisition from aspect of readiness of human resource in aiming very good result / high with percentage 81%. Aspects of infrastructure facilities show excellent results / high percentage 79%, Aspects of cooperation readiness DU / DI percentage of 68% showed good results / high 2) Problems of teaching factory implementation can be explained. a) lack of restrictions on cooperation in schools with DU / DI b) still lack of tools and sarapa prakti from DU / DI. c) forms of cooperation undertaken not in accordance with school expectations.

Abstract

Pengaturan tempat duduk menentukan keberhasilan dalam penerapan model pembelajaran Kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan pengaturan tempat duduk kelas berdasarkan mazhab McCroskey pada pembelajaran saintifik di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan yang meliputi model traditional, horseshoe, dan modular arrangement. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed method. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa SMK Negeri 2 Wonosari. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan adalah kelas X dan XI dengan jumlah 90 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, kuesioner, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Bentuk modular (mengelompok) memiliki kualitas tertinggi dalam hal motivasi belajar dengan persentase 68,7% dan fleksibility sebesar 66,93%, bentuk “U” (horsehoe) memiliki kualitas tertinggi dalam visibility yaitu sebesar 71,37% , dan bentuk baris/tradisional memiliki persentase di bawah keduanya, (2)  Keaktifan belajar siswa paling menonjol ada pada bentuk modular dengan kegiatan yang dominan visual, oral, listening, writing, drawing, motor, mental, dan emotional, dan (3) Terdapat perbedaan antara bentuk baris, bentuk “U” dan bentuk modular dilihat dari ketiga aspek yaitu motivasi, visibility, dan fleksibility.

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum uses a classroom-based assessment. The curriculum contains various supporters, one of which is an assessment. Assessment by teachers is used to measure the achievement of learning objectives. But in the real world, a teacher has difficulty in developing assessment planning, assessment implementation, and processing of assessment result, and teacher has not analyzed comprehensively about validity and reliability in question, and analysis of evaluation instrument conducted by the teacher is only limited to analyze difficulty level. Thus, the problem that is made to know the cognitive level of students has not known the quality. The objectives of this study were (1) to know the reliability of cognitive assessment instruments developed, (2) to know the level of difficulty, (3) to know the differentiating power, and (4) to know the effectiveness of the cultivators. The method used in this research is research and development (R & D) developed by Borg & Gall. Data analysis technique that is done is instrument validation test with construct validity through judgment expert, reliability test using ITEMAN with formula CR-20. This study resulted in (1) the reliability of the question items of 0.740, (2) the degree of difficulty there are three levels, namely difficult 23%, medium 70%, and easy 7%, (3) distinguishing power on the grain matter analysis resulted in 20%, 7% of the questions are sufficient, 60% is good, and 13% are very good, and (4) the effectiveness of the deception is 82% working and 18% not working.

Abstract

Listrik merupakan sesuatu yang sangat dibutuhkan, karena itu perlu adanya pembangkit untuk mengkonversi energi mekanis menjadi energi listrik, salah satunya adalah turbin uap. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui sistem turbin uap, mengetahui permasalahan yang terjadi pada performa low pressure turbin uap serta dapat membandingkan performa low pressure turbin uap sebelum dan setetah blade dipotong. Teknik pengumpulan data telah dilakukan dengan berbagai metode untuk mendapatkan informasi penelitian. Metode observasi dilakukan dengan  mengamati kegiatan yang di lakukan di industri. Selain itu dilakukannya wawancara dengan mengajukan pertanyaan secara langsung ataupun tidak langsung kepada 8 Narasumber yang bekerja di PT. Indonesia Power UJP PLTU Banten 2 Labuan serta pengumpulan dokumen-dokumen tertentu sebagai dokumentasi dan studi pustaka dengan mengumpulkan informasi dari buku, data manual book perusahaan, atau internet. Adapun metode kuantitatif deskriptif penulis melakukan penelitian dengan memperoleh data berupa angka-angka.Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu turbin menggunakan sistem tertutup, terdapat penurunan daya di low pressure turbine akibat kandungan uap yang kurang baik karena mengandung silika sehingga dilakukan pemotongan blade pada stage ke-4. Pemotongan blade tersebut karenan adanya crack dan sangat berpengaruh terhadap nilai performa low pressure turbine. Nilai tersebut menjadi turun sebesar 20 MW dari nilai sebelumnya.

Abstract

 This study aims to find out how much understanding of SMK teachers in the implementation of the 2013 revision curriculum 2017. Curriculum issues 2013 revision 2017 is the preparation of Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), learning activities and implementation of assessment. Understanding teachers less will have an impact in the learning process because the learning itself is a reference curriculum in the delivery of material, so that the learning process does not work properly. The government's strategy to prepare teachers in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum of 2017 revision from socialization, training, mentoring and evaluation has been implemented, so that the new curriculum is going well. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The method used is descriptive. The subjects of this study were teachers of SMKN 1 Cikande, SMKN 2 Serang City, SMKN 1 Cilegon City and SMKN 2 Pandeglang City. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and interviews. Based on the results of the researchers do with data collection techniques and interviews using eight indicators 1) syllabus, 2) details of the effective week, 3) annual programming, 4) semester program, 5) core competence / basic competency 6) learning implementation plan, 7) academic calendar and 8) evaluation tools conclude that SMK teachers in Banten have an understanding of the 2017 revision curriculum in 2017 including the good category with the percentage of 80%. The results of the understanding of the 2013 revised curriculum 2017 in Banten Province is the lack of monitoring and training conducted by the government and the school, so that teachers do not all understand and implement the curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of fuel (diesel oil, walnut oil and sesame oil), the characteristics of the fuel mixture and knowing the amount of fuel consumption with a variation of the engine rotation. Measurements were made using 898 analyzer stages. Data were analyzed descriptively by describing the graphics and measurable phenomenon. The test results found that: (1) the characteristics of hazelnut oil, sesame oil meets the characteristics of the fuel; (2) a mixture of diesel fuel to 80% with 10% of hazelnut oil and sesame oil 10% yield better characteristics; and (3) the fuel consumption of the engine rev 1600 rpm, 2000 rpm and 2300 rpm is more stable on a mixture of diesel fuel to 80% with hazelnut oil 10% and sesame oil 10% each SFC obtained as follows 0.279882, 0.288938 and 0.281213.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat student self-assessment yang tepat untuk Mata Pelajaran Pemeliharaan Kelistrikan Kendaraan Ringan SMK Teknik Kendaraan Ringan, dan untuk mengetahui karakteristik perangkat student self-assessment yang valid, reliabel, dan praktis. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengacu langkah pengembangan Borg & Gall dengan desain pengembangan terdiri dari sepuluh langkah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta dan SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta.  Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI Kompetensi Keahlian TKR. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan instrumen penilaian. Teknik analisis   data   menggunakan   teknik analisis data kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode Corrected Item-Total Correlations. Peninjauan validitas isi menggunakan peninjauan konsistensi penilaian rater dengan Intraclass Correlation Coefficient. Hasil penelitian ini berupa seperangkat student self-assessment yang terdiri dari instrumen penilaian, rubrik penilaian, dan pedoman pengembangan penilaian. Perangkat student self-assessment Mata Pelajaran PKKR SMK Kompetensi Keahlian TKR dinyatakan memenuhi kriteria valid, reliabel, dan praktis.

Abstract

This paper reports a study that examines the manufacture and feasibility of cutting engine learning media. learning in related subjects. The research was conducted using the Research and Development (R&D) method of the Borg and Gall development model. The subjects of this study consisted of 3 material experts, 3 media experts, and 21 college students. This research produces Learning Media products that have a choice of operating modes (automatic or mechanical) as well as visualization transfer features that make this product a flexible character learning medium. The feasibility of learning media based on the validation results from material experts and media experts shows that this learning media is suitable for use in learning. The average result of the questionnaire that has been obtained from media experts shows a percentage of 78% in the "Good" category. The average results of media experts show a percentage of 86.60% in the "Very Good" category and the average for the questionnaire that has been obtained from users shows a percentage of 87.20% in the "Very Good" category.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui seberapa besar minat masuk perguruan tinggi bagi siswa kelas XII program keahlian Teknik Mesin dan Teknik Otomotif di SMK Serang masuk tahun 2016. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik Proportional Random Sampling sejumlah 165 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket  (kuesioner). Uji validitas instrument dilakukan dengan construct validity melalui experts judgment dengan metode factor analysis. Uji reliabititas menggunakan Alpha. Besarnya minat diuji dengan statistic regresi ganda dengan bantuan SPSS versi 21. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahawa minat masuk perguruan tinggi di Serang dengan rerata persentase 71.76%. Minat tersebut dipengaruhi oleh faktor dalam diri sendiri, faktor lingkungan keluarga, dan faktor lingkungan sekolah dengan koefisien regresi masing-masing sebesar 0.199; 0.190; dan 0.090. Faktor diri sendiri dan lingkungan keluarga secara bersama-sama mempengaruhi minat masuk perguruan tinggi sebesar 37,6%. Kata kunci: Minat, Perguruan Tinggi, Diri Sendiri, Sekolah, dan Keluarga

Abstract

The study aims to determine the level of penetration depth using SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) Process based on the polarity type of DCRP (Direct Current Reverse Polarity) and DCSP (Direct Current Straight Polarity). This research used ASTM A36 low carbon steel plate with thickness of 6 mm and length of 200 mm, Electrode E7018 LB-52-18 ∅ 3.2 mm, and with current parameters of 90 A, 100 A, 110 A, 120 A and 130 A and 70° welding arc angle. The method used the experimental research. Data collection techniques applied direct observation techniques and descriptive statistical data analysis techniques. Testing the penetration depth of the welds with a macrographic test was conducted by an optical microscope. The test results show that DCRP has more depth than DCSP when the current is 90 A with a difference of 0.38 mm. When the current is 100 A, DCRP is deeper with a difference of 0.312 mm compared to DCSP. The third experiment, with a current of 110 A DCRP, was deeper with a difference of 0.05 mm compared to DCSP. During the fourth and fifth experiments, DCRP was deeper with a difference of 0.21 mm compared to DCSP at 120 A and DCRP was 0.324 mm deeper than DCSP at 130 A. It can be concluded that the effect of DCRP and DCSP polarity on the depth of penetration using E7018 electrodes and ASTM low carbon steel A36, DCRP polarity has a deeper penetration depth compared to DCSP.
