Abstract

Writing skill is still the most difficult language skill among the four language skills. Writing skills require a process approach. In addition, creativity is an important aspect that must exist. One of the things that can be done to foster creativity, especially in writing classes, is to take creative steps contained in the synectic model. Synectic model raises syntax or steps that can direct thinking to think creatively. Creative steps will produce creative work as well. The synectic model with its basis in literary ecocriticism is of course the right choice to produce interesting short story literary works, full of creativity, and good criticism of the surrounding environment. This research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental type of research. The data collected is in the form of numbers. The purpose of this study was to look at the effect of using a synectic model based on literary ecocriticism in learning to write short story texts at school. The research data is short story texts that have been written by students. The results of the study show that there is an effect of using the literary ecocritic-based synectic model in writing short story texts.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is (1) describes the vocabulary mastery of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sintuk Toboh Gadang, (2) describe the news text writing skills of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sintuk Toboh Gadang, and (3) analyze the contribution of vocabulary mastery to news writing skills of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sintuk Toboh Gadang. This type of research is quantitative research with descriptive methods. Contributions are calculated using the determinant coefficient formula with correlational research design. The population of this research is the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sintuk Toboh Gadang in the 2018/2019 school year with a total of 219 people spread over eight classes. The sample of this study was 136 people, taken using propotional random sampling. Based on the results of the study, it is known that (1) the vocabulary mastery of Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sintuk Toboh Gadang is more than adequate with a value of 67.34, (2) news writing skills of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sintuk Toboh Gadang are in good qualifications with a value of 81.43, (3) there is a significant relationship between vocabulary mastery and news text writing skills of Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sintuk Toboh Gadang with a count of 0.222 greater than rtable 0.168 at dk = 135 alpha 0.05 with a contribution of X to Y of 4.06%.Kata Kunci: kontribusi, kosakata, teks berita

Abstract

The purpose of writing this paper is to describe the acquisition of compound sentences for children aged 4:0 through playing activities. Activities of children aged 4:0 years can not be separated from the world of play. Through play, children will interact and communicate spontaneously. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research data is the utterances of children aged 4:0 years in the form of clauses or sentences using listening and listening-engagement-conversation techniques with the help of peer tools and notes as data collection techniques. Data analysis was carried out with the emergence of comprehensiveness criteria, namely the elements that were said would be considered as a reflection of competence. The results found were the utterances expressed by children aged 4:0 years were already in sentence form but also found one or two words which were sometimes still related to the previous utterance. Sentences spoken by children aged 4:0 years already exist in the form of compound sentences that are in accordance with the development of the child's age.

Abstract

The synectic model is the basis for increasing creativity. The synectic model in learning to write poetry is one of the right steps to research. Creativity is the basis for writing activities. Writing activities require high creativity in producing good and original writing. The ability to write is always a problem from time to time because bringing out the creativity that exists in a person is not easy, but a way is needed to foster that creativity. One of the steps is to use the synectic model in learning to write poetry. The synectic model that carries steps to think creatively on the basis of metaphors helps students grow their creativity in writing poetry. The synectic model in learning to write poetry is then juxtaposed with literary ecocriticism, the goal is to produce literary works that care about the surrounding environment. Submission of criticism of the environment in the form of poetry will make an interesting work. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental method using a control class and an experimental class.

Abstract

There are three purposes of this study, first, to describe the skills of writing explanatory texts for class XI MAN Sibolga before using the ttw technique. Second, describe the skills of writing explanatory texts of class XI students of MAN Sibolga after using the ttw technique on the writing skills of the eleventh grade students of MAN Sibolga. This type of research is quantitative research with experiment methods. This research design is a one group pretest- posttest design. The population in this study were all class XI students of MAN Sibolga who were registered in the 2022/2023 academic year with a total of 208 people spread over six classes. The sample of this research is the students of class XI IPS 2, totaling 35 people who are determined by purposive sampling technique. The data of this research is the score of the test results of the writing skill of the explanatory text before and after using the ttw technique, the students of class XI MAN Sibolga are in the qualification more than enough with an average score of 68,81. Second, the skill of writing an explanatory text after using the ttw technique, the students of class XI MAN Sibolga are in the very good qualification with an average value of 87,38. Third, based on the t-test, the research hypothesis H1 was accepted at a significant level of 95% and degrees of freedom (dk)= (n-1) because tcount > ttable (9,72 > 1,70). Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the students explanatorytext writing skill in class XI MAN Sibolga after using the ttw technique were better than before using the ttw technique. Thus, the ttw technique could be applied as an alternative in learning explanatory text writing skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan keefektifan kalimat dalam teks cerita fantasi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Batang Anai Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Keefektifan kalimat ditinjau dari empat aspek yaitu (1) ketepatan struktur kalimat, (2) kelogisan makna, (3) kehematan kata. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini berupa tulisan teks cerita fantasi siswa kelas VII SMP negeri 4 Batang Anai. Data dianalisis dengan langkah-langkah (1) mengidentifikasi data, (2) mengklasifikasikan data, (3) menganalisis data, (4) menginterpretasi data, dan (5) menyimpulkan hasil deskripsi data. ari hasil penelitian, keefektifan kalimat dalam teks cerita fantasi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Batang Anai berada dalam kualifikasi kurang baik. Hal tersebut dikarenakan dari 234 kalimat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, hanya 75 kalimat yang efektif, sedangkan 159 kalimat tidak efektif. Ketidakefektifan tersebut dikarenakan tidak memenuhi indikator kalimat efektif dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa keefektifan kalimat dalam teks cerita fantasi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Batang Anai cenderung tidak tepat. Dengan demikian, dapat dipahami bahwa siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Batang Anai Kabupaten Padang Pariaman belum mampu menggunakan kalimat efektif dalam teks cerita fantasi.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk tindak tutur direktif guru dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Batusangkar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dari penelitian ini adalah berupa kalimat-kalimat bentuk tindak tutur direktif guru bahasa Indonesia SMP Negeri 1 Batusangkar dalam proses belajar mengajar. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah seluruh tuturan guru bahasa Indonesia yang mengajar di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Batusangkar pada saat proses belajar mengajar dari awal sampai akhir. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa bentuk tindak tutur direktif yang ditemukan pada guru bahasa Indonesia dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Batusangkar, yaitu sebanyak 156 tuturan, yaitu tindak tutur permintaan 24 tuturan, tindak tutur pertanyaan 97 tuturan, tindak tutur perintah 10 tuturan, tindak tutur larangan 1 tuturan, tindak tutur pemberian izin 10 tuturan, dan tindak tutur nasihat 14 tuturan. Tindak tutur direktif yang paling dominan adalah tindak tutur pertanyaan, sedangkan tindak tutur direktif yang paling sedikit adalah larangan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini sebagai berikut. Pertama, mendeskripsikan penggunaan diksi teks prosedur siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Sijunjung ditinjau dari kebakuan diksi. Kedua, mendeskripsikan penggunaan konjungsi teks prosedur siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Sijunjung ditinjau dari ketepatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Data penelitian ini berupa diksi ditinjau dari kebakuan dan konjungsi ditinjau dari ketepatan teks prosedur siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Sijunjung. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut. Pertama, dilihat dari penggunaan diksi, dalam menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Sijunjung telah menggunakan diksi yang baku. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil analisis yaitu kebakuan penggunaan diksi lebih dominan daripada ketidakbakuan. Kedua, dilihat dari penggunaan konjungsi, dalam menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Sijunjung telah menggunakan konjungsi secara tepat. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil analisis yaitu ketepatan penggunaan konjungsi lebih dominan daripada ketidaktepatan. Jadi, secara umum teks prosedur siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Sijunjung sudah menggunakan diksi yang baku dan konjungsi secara tepat, namun masih ada beberapa diksi yang belum baku dan konjungsi yang belum tepat.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the following things. First, to describe the learning to write short story texts for class X SMA Negeri 1 Batang Anai, Padang Pariaman Regency before using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by 3M techniques. Second, to describe the learning to write short story texts for class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Batang Anai, Padang Pariaman Regency after using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by 3M techniques. Third, to describe the influence of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by 3M techniques in learning to write short story texts for class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Batang Anai, Padang Pariaman Regency. There are three results of this research. First, the learning to write short story texts for class Second, the learning to write short story texts for class Third, based on the results of the t-test, it was concluded that there was a significant influence on the use of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by 3M techniques in learning to write short story texts for class ) at the α significance level of 0.05 and a confidence level of 95%. This shows that there is a significant influence in the use of Project Based Learning (PjBL) assisted by 3M techniques in learning to write short story texts for class X SMA Negeri 1 Batang Anai Padang Pariaman Regency.
