ABSTRACTÂ The article was written to describe thelistening skills of news text with the skills of writing news students class VIII SMP N 2 Batusangkar. The type of this study is quantitative research by using descriptive method. The research design used is correlational. Population in this study is students of grade VIII SMPN 2 Batusangkar registered in the academic year 2017/2018 amounted to 245 students. Sample were taken using proportional random sampling. Based on the result of this study, it can be concluded that correlation between listening skill with writing skill of news text student class VIII SMPN 2 Batusangkar with convidence 95% with degree of freedom n-1; t-count> t-table (5,55)> (1.68 ). ABSTRACTÂ The purpose of this study is to describe the influence of cooperative learning model of Think Talk Write in writing exposition text at grade VII ofMTsS Diniyah Pandai Sikek. The method of this research is an experimental method with a quasi experiment type. The result of this research shows that there is an influence of cooperative learning model of think talk write in writing exposition text for students at grade VII at MTsS Diniyah Pandai Sikek at significant level 95% with degree of freedom (n1+n2) -2, that is ttable<tvalue(1,70 <7,48). Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted because the results of testing the hypothesis prove that the value of ttabel is smaller than tvalue.Â Kata Kunci: pengaruh, kooperatif, think talk write, teks eksposisi.

This article aims to describe the level of writing skills text procedures grade VII SMP Negeri 1 Pariaman. Type of this research is quantitative research with experimental methods. The results of the research there are three as follows. First, writing skills text procedures grade VII. 2 SMP Negeri 1 Pariaman before using the techniques resembled audiovisual media-assisted model is at a sufficient qualification (C) with an average value of 63.02. Second, the skills of writing text procedures grade VII. 2 SMP Negeri 1 Pariaman after using the techniques resembled audiovisual media-assisted models are on good qualifications (B) with an average value of 84.55. Third, based on the t-test, it was concluded that there is a significant influence in the use of techniques of audiovisual media-assisted models resembled towards writing skills text procedures grade VII SMP Negeri 1 thitung > ttabel because Pariaman (3.810 > 1.67).Â Kata Kunci: Pengaruh, Teknik Tiru Model, Media Audiovisual

ABSTRACTÂ This research is purpose to describe the influencing of using copy the master technic for writing poetry text ability for students class X SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya. The kind of this research is quantitative. The research uses experiment method which emphasizes on semu design experiment for one group pretest posttest design. There are three result on the research are (1) the studentsâ€™ ability in writing poetry text before using copy the master technic at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya is low and grades HC with average 50,40, (2) the studentsâ€™ ability in writing poetry text after using copy the master technic at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung RayaÂ isÂ highÂ andÂ gradesÂ LdCÂ withÂ averageÂ 73,12,Â andÂ (3)Â the significant influenced from using copy the master technic writing poetry text ability for students class X SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya. The purpose of this research is (1) to describe the effectiveness of the sentence in the text of exposition of class VII students of MTsS Diniyah Pandai Sikek in terms of accuracy of reasoning include (a) logical ideas and (b) unity of ideas, 2) describe the effectiveness of the sentences in the expositional text of the seventh grade students of MTsS Diniyah Pandai Sikek in terms of language accuracy including (a) grammar, (b) exact words, and (c) exact spelling. The method in this research is descriptive method. Sources of research data are 19 texts written by students. The research findings are 10 effective sentences and 155 ineffective sentences of 165 sentences examined.Â Kata kunci: kalimat efektif, teks eksposisiÂ Â

Tujuan pelatihan menulis teks cerpen ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas model picture and picture terhadap keterampilan menulis teks cerpen siswa SMP Negeri 2 Nan Sabaris Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Jenis kegiatam ini adalah pembinaan dan pelatihan yang bersifat kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dengan design One Group Pretest and Posttest Design. Jumlah populasi 247 peserta didik, sedangkan untuk pelatihan ini dipilih siswa kelas VII.6 SMP Negeri Nan Sabaris jumlah 30 peserta didik yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Ada dua variable dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini, yaitu keterampilan keterampilan menulis teks cerpen peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model picture and picture.Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes unjuk kerja. Data kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah skor hasil tes keterampilan menulis teks cerpen peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Nan Sabaris sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model picture and picture.Ada tiga hasil yang ditemukan melalui kegiatan pelatihan ini, yaitu: (1) keterampilan menulis teks cerpenpeserta didik kelas VII.6 SMP Negeri 2 Nan Sabaris Kabupaten Padang Pariaman sebelum menggunakan model picture and picture berada pada kualifikasi Cukup (C) dengan rata-rata 61,94; (2) keterampilan menulis teks cerpen peserta didik siswa SMP Negeri 2 Nan Sabaris sesudah menggunakan model picture and pictureberada pada kualifikasi Baik (B) dengan rata-rata 81,53; dan (3) keterampilan menulis teks cerpen siswa SMP Negeri 2 Nan Sabaris Kabupaten Padang Pariaman sesudah dilatih dengan menggunakan model picture and picturelebih baik daripada sebelum menggunakan model picture and picture. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan yang diberikan dengan menggunakan model picture and pictureterhadap keterampilan menulis teks cerpen peserta SMP Negeri 2 Nan Sabarais Kabupaten Padang Pariaman karena nilai thitung>ttabel(7,10> 1,70). Maksudnya adalah keterampilan menulis teks peserta didik SMP Negeri 2 Nan Sabaris Kabupaten Padang Pariaman sesudah dilakukan pelatihan dengan menggunakan model picture and picture lebih baik dibandingkan keterampilan menulis teks cerpen peserta didik kelas VII.6 SMP Negeri 2 Nan Sabarais Kabupaten Padang Pariaman sebelum menggunakan model picture and picture.Dengan demikian, model picture and picture dapat diterapkan dalam pembinaan dan pelatihan keterampilan menulis teks cerpen.

Alih Kode dan Campur Kode dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Kelas VII MTsN 1 Kerinci Dzikrina Rahmah; Yulianti Rasyid

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk alih kode dan campur kode pada tuturan guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas VII MTsN 1 Kerinci. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data penelitian ini adalah tuturan guru dan siswa dan instrumen penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri dengan metode simak. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah teknik Simak Bebas Libat Cakap (SBLC). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pertama, ditemukan 110 data alih kode intern dan 14 data alih kode ekstern. Kedua, penyebab alih kode yang sering ditemukan adalah karena faktor pendengar atau lawan tutur, sedangkan penyebab alih kode yang sedikit muncul disebabkan oleh faktor perubahan situasi karena hadirnya pihak ke tiga. Ketiga, ditemukan sebanyak 96 data jenis campur kode ke dalam, 34 data jenis campur kode ke luar, dan 6 data jenis campur kode campuran. Keempat, faktor penyebab terjadinya campur kode yang paling dominan adalah faktor keinginan untuk menjelaskan dan menafsirkan, sedangkan faktor penyebab terjadinya peristiwa campur kode yang jarang muncul adalah faktor bahasa.

This study aims to describe the acquisition of conjunction elements in preschool children. This research is focused on the acquisition of coordinating and subordinating conjunctions in preschool-aged children. The subject of this research is a 5 year old girl. The data in this study are utterances from 5-year-old girls which contain elements of coordinating and subordinating conjunctions. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research design. There are three stages of data analysis in this study, namely reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the conjunctions most frequently found in the speech of research subjects are coordinating conjunctions. The coordinating conjunctions found in the utterances of the research subjects are and, or, but, whereas, besides, moreover, only, except. The subordinating conjunctions found in the utterances of research subjects are if, if, for, so, before, after.

Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is one of the appropriate models developed in learning to answer the issue of increasing the quality of learning. This study aims to analyse the effect of applying the problem-based learning model in learning Indonesian general courses. This research is experimental. The sample in this study were students who took Indonesian language courses in the first semester at Padang State University. Samples for the experimental and control classes each amounted to 30 people. Data collection techniques using pretest and posttest with t-test. The instrument used was in the form of multiple choice questions totalling 30 questions which had previously been tested for the validity and reliability of the questions. From the calculation results obtained t-count (2.65) t-table (1.67). From these results, it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model significantly affects learning outcomes in Indonesian language courses.The implications of this research can assist lecturers in creating an effective and efficient learning process and can be used to shape positive student behaviour to create an academic atmosphere oriented towards 21st-century learning.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan kalimat dalam teks prosedur siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 8 Padang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data penelitian ini adalah keefektifan kalimat (keparalelan kalimat dan ketepatan ejaan) dalam teks prosedur siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 8 Padang dan Instrumen penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan teknik pancing. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pertama, keefektifan kalimat dalam teks prosedur siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 8 Padang berada dikualifikasi kurang baik. Hal tersebut dikarenakan dari 256 kalimat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, hanya 50 kalimat yang efektif, sedangkan 206 kalimat tidak efektif. Ketidakefektifan 206 kalimat tersebut dikarenakan tidak memenuhi indikator kalimat efektif dalam penelitian ini. Indikator tersebut yaitu keparalelan kalimat dan ketepatan ejaan. Kedua, ditemukan 46 kesalahan dari segi keparalelan kalimat dan 256 kesalahan dari segi ketepatan ejaan. Ketiga, indikator yang paling banyak tidak tepat penggunaannya adalah ketepatan ejaan yaitu sebanyak 256 kesalahan, sedangkan yang paling sedikit tidak tepat penggunaanya adalah keparalelan kalimat yaitu sebanyak 46 kesalahan.
