Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh metode Project Based Learning (PjBL) dengan bantuan media audiovisual terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 13 Padang. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi siswa dalam menulis puisi meliputi minimnya kosakata, kesulitan dalam menemukan diksi yang tepat, serta kurangnya kemampuan menggunakan citraan dan gaya bahasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain one group pretest-posttest, melibatkan 35 siswa sebagai sampel. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes unjuk kerja menulis puisi sebelum dan setelah penerapan metode PjBL. Uji normalitas dan homogenitas dilakukan untuk memastikan distribusi data yang valid, diikuti oleh uji-t untuk menentukan signifikansi hasil. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan menulis puisi setelah implementasi metode PjBL berbantuan audiovisual. Metode ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas dan motivasi belajar siswa, yang terlihat dari perbandingan skor pretest dan posttest. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa metode PjBL berbasis media audiovisual dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran yang mendorong keterlibatan aktif dan keterampilan menulis siswa, serta relevan untuk pengembangan metode pengajaran bahasa berbasis teknologi di sekolah-sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CIRC terhadap keterampilan memahami teks cerpen siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Dengan rancangan penelitian one group pretest posttest design.  Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MAN 2 Pasaman tahun ajaran 2023/2024 sebanyak 52 orang dari kelas XI.F1 dan XI.F2. Menggunakan teknik simple random sampling, diperoleh sampel berjumlah 29 orang dari kelas XI. F2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan memahami teks cerpen siswa kelas XI MAN 2 Pasaman sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CIRC berada pada kualifikasi Lebih dari Cukup (Ldc) dengan nilai rata-rata 65,82. Setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CIRC berada pada kualifikasi Baik Sekali (BS) dengan nilai rata-rata 84,75. Berdasarkan uji-t, hipotesis alternatif ( ) diterima pada taraf signifikan 95% dan derajat (dk)=n-1 karena >  yaitu (11,83>1,69). Jadi, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CIRC dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran keterampilan memahami teks cerpen.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the effect of implementing the R2L learning model on improving students' writing narrative text skills. The researcher identified the research sample, namely the 7th-grade students of SMPN 13 Padang, totaling 28 students. The researcher collected data by processing the pre-test results from the representations obtained before applying the R2L model and the post-test results obtained after applying the R2L model. The data were analyzed using the Paired T-Test parametric analysis method. The results found are that the Reading to Learn (R2L)-based HOTS learning model can improve students' writing skills and have a significant effect. This is in line with the data found in the field, namely the pretest-posttest results with a value of tcount=-9.682<ttable=-2,052.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Improving the quality of learning requires educators to adapt to innovative approaches, one of which is through gamification. This article aims to describe the implementation of gamification training for teachers in three schools (SMP N 1, 2, and 3 Batang Gasan) in Padang Pariaman Regency and analyze its impact on understanding, enthusiasm, perceptions of effectiveness, and the practice of applying gamification. This study used a one-group pretest-posttest design with 15 teachers as participants. The instrument, in the form of a Likert scale questionnaire, measured four main aspects, supplemented by an evaluation of training satisfaction. The four variables measured were understanding of gamification (scale 0–100), enthusiasm for innovation (scale 1–5), perception of the effectiveness of gamification (scale 1–5), and frequency of application of gamification techniques (scale 1–5). The data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially using a paired t-test. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase in all variables. The gamification understanding score increased from 58.7 ± 6.4 to 84.5 ± 5.8 (t=12.37; p<0.001). Enthusiasm for innovation rose from 3.2 ± 0.7 to 4.6 ± 0.5 (t=10.12; p<0.001), perception of gamification effectiveness from 3.4 ± 0.6 to 4.5 ± 0.4 (t=9.64; p<0.001), and frequency of gamification application from 2.1 ± 0.8 to 3.9 ± 0.6 (t=8.88; p<0.001).  This improvement indicates that the training provided was successful in strengthening the cognitive, affective, and behavioral aspects of teachers related to the use of gamification in learning. Abstract

This study aims to describe the use and accuracy of conjunctions in descriptive texts and fantasy stories written by seventh-grade junior high school students. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data in the form of conjunctions in 30 descriptive texts and 30 fantasy texts obtained through writing assignments, which were then analyzed through identification, classification of types, and accuracy assessment based on Chaer and KBBI criteria. The results show that descriptive texts contain 159 conjunctions with 100 correct uses and 59 incorrect uses, while fantasy texts contain 202 conjunctions with 150 correct uses and 52 incorrect uses. Both types of texts were dominated by coordinative conjunctions, especially “and,” but fantasy texts showed greater variation in temporal conjunctions and sequence of events, resulting in a more coherent flow. These findings confirm that genre characteristics influence the choice and function of conjunctions, while also indicating the need to strengthen text-based conjunction learning in descriptive and fantasy text writing in junior high school.

Abstract

Urgensi penelitian ini muncul dari rendahnya kemampuan siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 7 Sarolangun dalam memahami unsur-unsur teks berita, struktur teks, kebahasaan, serta membedakan hoaks dan fakta di era media sosial yang masif, ditambah pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang masih bersifat ceramah satu arah dan belum mengintegrasikan literasi digital sesuai tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul pembelajaran teks berita berbasis saintifik untuk siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 7 Sarolangun, sebagai solusi atas kesulitan siswa dalam memahami unsur-unsur teks berita (5W+1H), struktur teks, kebahasaan, serta kemampuan membedakan hoaks dan fakta. Masalah ini muncul karena pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia masih bersifat ceramah satu arah, kurang interaktif, dan belum mengintegrasikan konteks aktual serta literasi digital sesuai tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka, yang menekankan pembelajaran berbasis proyek untuk meningkatkan kompetensi abad 21. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D (define, design, develop, and disseminate). Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 7 Sarolangun pada September-Oktober 2025. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara awal, angket validasi oleh 5 ahli, angket praktikalitas oleh 36 siswa, serta pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur efektivitas modul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan modul sangat valid (90,40%) dengan rata-rata aspek materi (91%), tampilan (89,33%), dan bahasa (90,86%). Kemudian, sangat praktis (87,19%) dalam aspek minat siswa (88,3%), kemudahan penggunaan (86,67%), kreativitas (87,67%), dan manfaat (86,11%), serta efektif dengan peningkatan skor siswa dari 55,56 menjadi 90,14, atau efektivitas sebesar 34,58%, yang mendukung peningkatan literasi berita dan keterampilan analisis kritis di era media sosial.

Abstract

This study examined the improvement of Grade 8 junior high school students’ fiction review writing skills through Project-Based Learning (PjBL) supported by audiovisual media. A quantitative one-group pretest–posttest design was employed. The sample consisted of 31 students selected through purposive (typical-case) sampling. Data were collected using a performance-based writing test administered before and after the intervention and scored with an analytic rubric covering text structure, content development, and spelling/mechanics (Indonesian orthography). Descriptive statistics and a paired-samples t-test were used for data analysis. The results indicated that the mean score increased from 45.97 (pretest) to 84.01 (posttest). The paired-samples t-test confirmed that the gain was statistically significant at the 0.05 level . These findings suggest that PjBL with audiovisual media effectively enhances students’ fiction review writing performance in the studied cohort, although accuracy in mechanics remains an area for further instructional support.

Abstract

This study analyzes Zainuddin's inferiority complex and psychological transformation in Tenggelamnya Kapal Van der Wijck  through a synthesis of Freud's psychoanalysis and Adler's individual psychology. The objectives of this study include: (1) identifying the sources of Zainuddin's suffering and low self-esteem, which are intertwined with social rejection of his mixed identity, (2) mapping the id-ego-superego conflicts that accompany romantic relationships and normative demands, and (3) explaining sublimation as a mechanism that transforms inner wounds into creative energy. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with close reading of narratives and dialogues that show symptoms of inferiority, intrapsychic conflict, and defense strategies. The results show that social stigma triggers feelings of worthlessness that reinforce intrapsychic conflict; this conflict is then transferred through sublimation into artistic production and social achievement, thereby transforming Zainuddin from a passive figure into a productive and influential one. These findings confirm that the tragedy of the shipwreck serves as both the peak of suffering and a trigger for new meanings that consolidate the character's transformation, thereby enriching the reading of literary psychology by making sublimation an operational link between the Freud–Adler frameworks.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the perceptions of Grade XI F-4 students at SMA Adabiah 2 Padang regarding the News Text Worksheet (LKPD) developed. This study employed a quantitative descriptive approach. The research model used was a survey with an online questionnaire as the research instrument. After data collection, steps were carried out based on a Likert Scale, such as summing the questionnaire responses, calculating the minimum total, calculating the maximum total, determining the range, calculating the length of the interval value class, and categorizing. The results of this study revealed a highly positive perception among grade XI F-4 students regarding the News Text Worksheet, with 89.25% rating ease of use, 88% rating time efficiency, 91.5% rating readability, 84.5% rating difficulty level, and 89.25% rating independence. Furthermore, complaints regarding the News Text Worksheet included limited time (duration) for completing the worksheet and limited information presented.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by audiovisual media in teaching students to write fictional review texts in Grade VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Sutera. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. The research data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Observations were conducted to examine the planning, implementation, and evaluation processes of learning activities. Interviews were carried out with an Indonesian language teacher and five students of class VIII.4 who participated in the learning process. Documentation consisted of an analysis of the teaching modules and learning tools used by the teacher. The results indicate that the learning planning was systematically prepared in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum, including the development of teaching modules, selection of audiovisual media, design of project-based learning activities, and determination of assessment techniques. The implementation of learning using the PjBL model assisted by audiovisual media was conducted in four meetings and followed the prescribed learning syntax. Students were actively involved in observing audiovisual media, participating in group discussions, developing review text projects, and presenting their work. The evaluation of learning was carried out comprehensively through pretests, process and project assessments, presentations, reflections, and posttests. The evaluation results show an improvement in students’ ability to write review texts, as indicated by the higher average posttest score compared to the pretest score. Therefore, the application of the Project Based Learning model assisted by audiovisual media has a positive impact on students’ learning outcomes in writing fictional review texts.
