Abstract

Learning mathematics has a special role in forming students' thinking concepts. The level of student thinking refers to the ability of students to analyze and return their own thinking concepts to mathematical problems. One of the materials in mathematics is geometry, which is a branch of mathematics that seeks to relate geometric elements and concepts in everyday life. Referring to Van Hiele's learning theory, the solution to solving the problem is with a learning method based on the level of students' understanding of geometry in flat shape material which is divided into five learning stages. This research is intended to find out and understand what are the obstacles students experience in the process of learning geometry on flat shape materials and offer the best solutions for their completion. By using the literature study research method, we are able to collect factual information about the topics we will discuss, namely analyzing critical thinking skills on flat shape materials and solving them according to Van Hiele's theory. The results of this study indicate that by using Van Hiele's 5 stages, learning can be carried out well without any problems and can improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The success of a learning is influenced by students' learning interest. at the elementary school level there are several subjects that students must follow, one of which is social studies. however, based on the results of previous journal studies, it was stated that there were problems found, namely the low interest in student learning because learning was monotonous. in this study the solution given to this problem is by using interactive powerpoint media. The method used in this research is literature study. Based on the results of research on literature studies, the use of interactive powerpoint as a social study learning media in elementary schools can foster motivation and improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research was conducted to obtain an overview of the effect of the cooperative learning model on students' critical thinking skills in sound material. This research is motivated by the problem of teachers in the classroom who are still carrying out teaching and learning activities oriented towards material and students are not yet a center of learning so that students' ways of thinking cannot develop because the concepts possessed by students are only rote and temporary. The purpose of this activity is to add insight and help students to confirm their answers in practice questions, whether they are in accordance with the results of the experiment, so that science lessons are no longer focused on everything that must be memorized. This study uses a cooperative learning model. The subjects of this study consisted of learning model experts and fifth grade elementary school students. Data collection was carried out using the literature study method. The data analysis used is a qualitative description technique. The results of this research design are cooperative learning models that divide students into heterogeneous groups consisting of 4-5 individuals who work together in groups to solve a problem.

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject taught at various levels of education that has an important role in advancing human thinking. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. This qualitative approach was chosen because the researcher thought that by using this approach the researcher could describe the problems studied thoroughly, regarding how the difficulty of learning multiplication arithmetic operations was based on the level of difficulty of the questions. The results of this study on student N showed that the thinking process of students became the subject of research in working on multiplication arithmetic operations questions, in the first question with the concept of constructing additions repeatedly, the results of research on students C showed that the thinking processes of students became research subjects in learning multiplication arithmetic operations sometimes still relying on multiplication notes 1 (one) to 20 (twenty). The results of this study on S students showed the students' thinking processes became the subject of research in working on integer arithmetic operations questions, in the first question with material using the properties of integer arithmetic operations. So good learning is learning that can be meaningful or useful for students.

Abstract

Kurang lebih enam bulan, berbagai elemen masyarakat di dunia dihantam wabah Covid-19, tanpa terkecuali dunia pendidikan. Saat ini pembelajaran daring memang tepat dan dibutuhkan untuk melanjutkan kegiatan belajar mengajar antara guru dengan murid. Itulah satu-satunya jalan terbaik agar kehidupan akademik terus memanjang. Namun, guru kesulitan dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar untuk pembelajaran daring, sehingga guru belum mampu melaksanakan pembelajaran daring secara maksimal. Hal ini karena pembelajaran daring merupakan pola pembelajaran yang baru sehingga guru belum menguasai dengan baik. Oleh sebab itu tim dosen PGSD Adi Buana Surabaya melakukan kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat untuk mengenalkan dan memahamkan Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Daring. Metode pelaksanaan workshop adalah dengan presentasi secara daring, pemodelan dan simulasi disertai tugas. Hasilnya, guru-guru yang mendapatkan pelatihan dapat mengembangkan bahan ajar daring.

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan utama yang ada pada Desa Pangkemiri Tulangan, Sidoarjo adalah pertama kurangnya literasi minat baca masyarakat, dan sarana dan prasarana kurang memadai. Salah satu program kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh peserta KKN 2021/2022 adalah mencari titik penyelesaian mengenai Taman baca. Dengan itu tujuan diadakannya proker ini adalah untuk memberikan sebuah kesadaran pada masyarakat bagaimana pentingnya membaca serta dapat memberikan sebuah keuntungan dan memiliki nilai yang bermanfaat bagi desa. Kemudian hasil dari program kegiatan Taman baca yang telah kami lakukan selama satu bulan adalah membuat bilik Taman baca untuk memudahkan masyarakat dalam membaca yang berada di kantor Kepala Desa Pangkemiri guna memberikan kesadaran bagi masyarakat jika pentingnya minat baca untuk masyarakat.

Abstract

Bahan ajar berbasis IT dibutuhkan sebagai penunjang proses pembelajaran daring. Namun, banyak guru di sekolah mitra yang masih kesulitan mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis IT. Tujuan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PPM) ini adalah memberikan pelatihan dan workshop pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis IT bagi guru SDN Sumur Welut III/440 Surabaya. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara offline di ruang pertemuan SDN Sumur Welut III/440 Surabaya. Metode pelaksanaan workshop adalah dengan presentasi, pemodelan dan simulasi disertai tugas. Hasil kegiatan Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PPM) ini, yaitu: (1) meningkatnya kreativitas guru dalam pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis IT; (2) kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini terlaksana dengan sangat baik.

Abstract

Residents of Betro Village have potential in the form of many butterfly pea plants that thrive in every yard of their house. However, these beautiful flowers are only used as ornamental plants. Seeing this potential, Adi Buana PGRI University's KKN students took the initiative to conduct education or socialization as a whole regarding the benefits of butterfly pea flowers for health which can then also be processed into delicious food but still nutritious. Besides that, it is also able to provide new business opportunities and has the potential to generate additional economic income. The objectives of this activity include providing insight into the butterfly pea flower regarding its benefits, potential and processed food that can be produced. This service method integrates KKN-T activities and community service from tertiary institutions. The result of this service is that the women of Betro Village can understand more about the benefits, potential and processed food that can be produced from the butterfly pea flower, so they can have an independent business and come up with entrepreneurial ideas by utilizing the butterfly pea flower around them.

Abstract

Penyelarasan gerakan literasi sekolah ialah dengan gerakan literasi kampus. Kehidupan kampus terutama yang berperan sebagai Lembaga Pendidikan Tenaga Keguruan hendaknya berupaya keras menciptakan calon pendidik yang literat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar sebagai calon guru sekolah dasar apakah termasuk dalam sumber daya manusia yang literat atau bukan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah seluruh mahasiswa PGSD Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya yang berjumlah 880 mahasiswa. Selanjutnya diambil sampel dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling hingga diperoleh tiga kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket, wawancara, dan observasi. Instrumen yang dibutuh dalam penelitian ini antara lain angket, daftar pertanyaan wawancara, dan lembar observasi. Kemudian data yang telah dikumpulkan di analisis dengan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini ialah belum semua mahasiswa PGSD menjadi SDM yang literat.

Abstract

Membaca adalah keterampilan penting yang diajarkan kepada siswa sejak awal sekolah dasar. Meskipun demikian, beberapa siswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan membaca mereka. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, Metode Pembelajaran Steinberg menjadi solusi yang efektif. Penelitian ini mengabdikan penghampiran kuantitatif tambah rancang bangun riset posttest only keunggulan. Populasi analisis ini adalah 44 anak di SDN 221 Gresik. Data dikumpulkan menelusuri pemeriksaan dan observasi, kelak dianalisis mengabdikan eksperimen statistika sebagai eksperimen normalitas, homogenitas, dan eksperimen-t. Hasil analisis memperlihatkan bahwa Metode Pembelajaran Steinberg menyimpan reaksi berarti terhadap talenta mempersembahkan anak. Kelas riset yang mengabdikan petunjuk ini menggapai etik rata-rata pemeriksaan mempersembahkan lantang sebanyak 86,14, temporer orang keunggulan yang memandangi kompendium merdeka menggapai etik rata-rata 68,18. Diperkuat tambah pengkajian anggapan mengabdikan Uji Independent Sample T-test yang memperlihatkan sig.(2-tiled) tambah etik 0,000< 0,05 berwai tambah demikian H0 ditolak artinya siap reaksi petunjuk penggodokan Steinberg terhadap talenta mempersembahkan anak sasian di orang reservoir bandarsah dasar. Dari kupasan sikap anak sasian, Metode Pembelajaran Steinberg ternyata berguna dan mudah diterapkan, menimbrung mampu merumput ketertarikan anak sasian dan membangun berikhtiar menangkap subjek tambah lebih baik.
