Abstract

This research aims to improve reading comprehension skills through the CIRC model assisted by MIPO pop-up book media in class III students at SD 1 Kaliwungu on the material of determining the main idea of a paragraph. The method used in this research is classroom action research which was carried out over two cycles. Each cycle consists of 2 meetings with 4 stages, namely, planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were 21 students in class III of SD 1 Kaliwungu. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, tests, and documentation with quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. The findings show that the implementation of the CIRC learning model assisted by MIPO pop-up book media, improves students' reading comprehension skills. Based on the results of pre-cycle research, the average was 69 with a classical completion percentage of 19.04%. Cycle I obtained an average score of 70.71 with a classical completeness percentage of 52.38%. In cycle II there was an increase by obtaining an average value of 79.04 and a classical percentage of 90.47%. Overall the average value of learning outcomes has increased by 8.33. So it can be concluded that by implementing the CIRC learning model assisted by MIPO pop-up book media, it can improve the reading comprehension skills of class III students at SD 1 Kaliwungu.Keywords: Reading comprehension, CIRC, pop-up book

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the improvement of students' vocabulary mastery by using a team game tournament model assisted by KAKI SI KOKA media in Indonesian subjects. The research method used is classroom action research (PTK), which has two cycles. Each Cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research was conducted in SD 4 Karangrowo grade IV with 33 students. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. The data analysis used is quantitative and qualitative. The results of the study using the TGT model assisted by the media KAKI SI KOKA can increase Vocabulary in Indonesian subjects in grade IV SD 4 Karangrowo, as evidenced by the completion of 20 students with a percentage of 60.6% in the first Cycle, which has increased but has not been maximized, so it is necessary to be disciplined II, after the implementation of cycle II, the results of student vocabulary mastery increased with 27 students experiencing completeness with a percentage of 81.81%. Based on classroom action research, using KAKI SI KOKA media can increase students' vocabulary mastery at SD 4 Karangrowo. Applying KAKI SI KOKA learning media makes students more active and creative in Learning.

Abstract

This study was conducted because there are still students of SDN 2 Bendanpete who are not yet fluent in reading. The school tries to improve student literacy by implementing a literacy program, and reading corners as one of the facilities used. The study aims to examine in depth the use of reading corner facilities by students of SDN 2 Bendanpete. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection is carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. In the lower grades, students have not been able to carry out proper maintenance and misuse the facilities so that there is damage to the physical condition of the reading corner which causes the use of these facilities to not be carried out optimally. While students in the upper grades are already able to carry out proper maintenance and use so that the physical condition of the reading corner in the upper grades is still very good and the use of the reading corner can be carried out optimally.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how the fifth grade teacher's efforts apply the recitation read challenge learning method to foster interest in reading in fifth grade students at SD N 2 Mijen. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The subjects in this research focused on fifth grade students who had little interest in reading. The data collection techniques for this research are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study show that students are more interested in reading after using the recitation learning method by giving students reading assignment materials and holding them accountable for their assignments with reading challenges. In the disclosure of the class V teacher, class V students' interest in reading began to increase after implementing the recitation read challenge learning method. From the results of student evaluations it became 93% in the complete category, where out of 25 students, only 2 students needed additional guidance from the teacher. So it can be concluded that growing interest in reading was said to be successful after the fifth grade teacher implemented the recitation read challenge learning method.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses berkarya seni dengan bahan tanah liat untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan naratif. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah SDN 1 Mayongkidul. Subjek yang akan diteliti adalah siswa kelas 2 SDN 1 Mayongkidul dengan 6 siswa yang dipilih peneliti. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses berkarya seni dengan bahan tanah liat sudah baik hal ini dibuktikan dalam proses berkarya siswa mampu menghasilkan karya sesuai pilihan sendiri, selama proses berkarya siswa sudah mengikuti tahapan dengan benar. Meskipun ada beberapa kendala yang dialami siswa, namun mereka tetap menyelesaikan karya hingga selesai. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan mengajak siswa melakukan kegiatan berkarya seni secara langsung tidak hanya memberikan pengalaman tetapi juga juga mengasah kemampuan estetis dan ketrampilan yang dimiliki mereka. Hasil penelitian lapangan juga menyoroti bahwasanya siswa kelas 2 SDN 1 Mayongkidul memiliki bakat, hal tersebut dilihat dari mampunya siswa dalam menciptakan suatu karya yang estetik dan berbagai macam bentuk karya. Diharapkan penelitian selanjutnya yang tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian yang sejenis agar dapat meneliti lebih mendalam lagi mengenai proses berkarya seni dengan bahan tanah liat.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve speaking skills using the Garuda Indonesia pop up book media for class III students at SD Negeri 02 Ngembal Kulon. Pop up book media is media with 3D elements when the page is opened. The problem that researchers found in their research was that there were still students' speaking skills that were relatively low.The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis Mc model. Taggart. The research was carried out through two cycles, and each cycle consisted of two meetings. The subjects in this research were class III students at SD Negeri 02 Ngembal Kulon, totaling 10 students. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, tests and documentation.The results of the research showed that there was an increase in speaking skills using the Garuda Indonesia pop up book media for class III students at SD Negeri 02 Ngembal Kulon. The results of the students' speaking skills obtained an average percentage score of 70% in cycle I, then continued in cycle II, increasing by 10% to 80% in the skilled category.Based on the results of Classroom Action Research or CAR which was carried out in class III of SD Negeri 02 Ngembal Kulon, it can be concluded that the application of Garuda Indonesia's pop up book media can improve students' speaking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the appreciation process and describe the results of the appreciation of fifth grade students in the work of Troso woven art at SDN Demangan Jepara.The research method used is qualitative narrative. Data sources were obtained directly through observation and interviews with all fifth grade students. This research was conducted in July 2024 at SDN Demangan Jepara. Data validation in this study used triangulation of data sources. The data analysis technique used refers to the Miles Huberman model with a flow of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions/verification.The results of this study indicate that fifth grade students at SDN Demangan Jepara have high potential in appreciating torso woven art. This research can be a source of learning for students in learning fine arts through project-based learning by creating two or three-dimensional works of art inspired by troso woven motifs, field visits that allow them to study the form and aesthetics of troso weaving directly by observing the weaving process, interacting with craftsmen to gain deeper knowledge.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance students' interest in writing and participation in learning activities related to direct and indirect sentence materials by utilizing the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) model supported by Pakalating media. The research employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology, conducted over two cycles, with each cycle comprising two sessions. The study was carried out in the fifth-grade class of SDN 2 Mayonglor. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation, and analyzed using a combination of quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods. The findings reveal a significant improvement in students' interest in writing. The questionnaire results indicate that the average percentage of students' interest in writing increased from 35.9% in the first cycle to 81.5% in the second cycle. Similarly, observations of student learning activities show an increase from an average of 68% in the first cycle to 92.2% in the second cycle. These results highlight the effectiveness of the STAD model combined with Pakalating media in fostering enthusiasm, motivating students, and significantly enhancing their interest in writing.

Abstract

Menulis huruf tegak bersambung merupakan suatu kegiatan menulis tanpa mengangkat alat tulis dan menggunakan media buku yang berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor kesulitan menulis huruf tegak bersambung siswa SD Negeri Plumbungan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui hasil wawancara guru dan siswa, hasil observasi kegiatan pembelajaran dan dokumentasi tulisan siswa dengan menggunakan pendekatan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Faktor kesulitan ini mencakup faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Hasil analisis faktor internal yang meliputi minat, perhatian dan motivasi siswa cukup baik. Hal ini dibuktikan bahwa dari keenam siswa hanya terdapat dua siswa yang kurang berminat, kurang memperhatikan guru dan kurang motivasi belajar. Kemudian faktor eksternal yang mencakup perhatian orang tua, kondisi lingkungan, fasilitas belajar dan penggunaan gadget pada setiap siswa berbeda-beda. Perhatian dan dorongan dari orang tua memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam menulis huruf tegak bersambung

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi kemampuan kreativitas siswa yang cenderung meniru apa yang dilakukan oleh guru. Sehingga siswa tidak dapat mengetahui potensi kreativitas dalam dirinya. Oleh karena itu, guru membantu dan memfasilitasi berbagai keterampilan untuk mengembang kreativitas siswa melalui pembelajaran yang aktif salah satunya adalah pembelajaran project based learning. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan hasil kreativitas karya dekoratif siswa dalam pembelajaran seni budaya berbasis project based learning pada kelas IV SD 5 Gondangmanis Kabupaten Kudus. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif pendekatan narasi dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV di SD 5 Gondangmanis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses kreativitas dalam pembelajaran project based learning termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Bentuk indikator kreativitas siswa terdiri dari kelancaran, keluwesan/fleksibilitas, keaslian, dan elaborasi dtermasuk dalam kategori baik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui pembelajaran project based learning siswa mampu mengembangkan kreativitasnya membuat karya dekoratif.
