Abstract

Mathematical Literacy ability has important for prospective mathematics teachers. It is closely related to Computational Thinking (CT). The aim of this study is to produce CT-students worksheets to improve the mathematical literacy of prospective mathematics teachers. The development study using model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Thirty-seven would-be maths teachers participated in the study's sixth semester. Subject criteria are students who are not familiar with CT. The instruments in this study were CT-based student worksheets, validation sheets, student response questionnaires, pre-test and post-test questions. The results showed that CT-based student worksheets met the criteria of valid (validity percentage of 84.5%), practical (practicality percentage of 88.68%), and effective (N-gain value of 46.91%). Based on these results, it's appropriate to conclude that CT-based student papers can help students who want to become math teachers learn more about math. Recommendations for further research can be made on the development of a wider material and a wider subject as well.

Abstract

Community service activities carried on 8-11 May 2021, located in Bulu viilage, Sukomoro sub district, Magetan Regency, has made a very significant contribution to the community, especially in Bulu viilage, Sukomoro district, Magetan Regency. Community service activities include how to use garbagr and make slippers from used crackle by Bulu village, Sukomoro district, Magetan Regency. Receipt of material abaout how to make slippers from used crackle is very meaningfull to the people of Bulu village, Sukomoro district Magetan Regency in order to increase family income. Community service activities with the theme “Training On Making Slippers From Used Crackle” which took place in the PKK orphonage building Bulu village, Sukomoro district, Magetan regency was attented by participants all of them 21 mothers, activator of Bulu village, team leader PKK activator of Bulu village, RT 02 RW 03 Bulu village head, 2 lecture, and 2 students.This training is a community servicee program by PGRI Madiun University lectures. This training was carried out in order to help the community, especially mothers of Bulu village residents, Skomoro district Magetan regency to obtain additional income. Seeing anthusiasm of the participants there will be an impact of this training that residents can make slippers from used crackle and eventually can increase family income.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengaruh sikap disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Geger. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh data atau infomasi tentang pengaruh sikap disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Geger. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 288 siswa. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 167 siswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan angket untuk pengumpulan data responden. Peneliti menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dengan SPSS versi 26.0 for windows untuk menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif antara sikap disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,011 < 0,05 dan nilai t_hitung (2,587) > t_tabel (1,974) dengan pengaruh sebesar 31,9%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat metakognisi siswa dalam memecahkan masalah Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar ditinjau dari kemampuan matematika pada siswa SMP kelas VIII sermester genap. Keterampilan metakognisi pada penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu perencanaan, monitoring dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah soal tes materi Bangun Runag Sisi Datar dan wawancara. Terdapat 3 subjek penelitian ini yaitu 1 subjek kemampuan matematika tinggi, 1 subjek kemampuan matematika sedang, dan 1 subjek kemampuan matematika rendah. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Reduksi data, Penyajian data, Verifikasi dan kesimpulan. Hasil validasi oleh validator menyatakan soal tes ini valid/layak untuk digunakan dalam proses penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek dengan kemampuan matematika tinggi memenuhi ketiga aspek yaitu perencanaan, monitoring dan evaluasi pada kedua soal. Subjek dengan kemampuan matematika sedang memenuhi aspek perencanaan dan monitoring untuk soal pertama dan pada soal kedua, ketiga aspek terpenuhi. Sedangkan subjek dengan kemampuan matematika rendah hanya memenuhi aspek perencanaan pada soal  pertama dan pada soal kedua, ketiga aspek terpenuhi.

Abstract

Dalam dunia perdagangan masalah optimasi meliputi memaksimumkan keuntungan (maksimasi) atau meminimumkan biaya (minimasi), dimana keduanya dapat diselesaikan menggunakan metode simpleks. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memaksimalkan keuntungan produksi rumah tangga tempe kedelai milik Ibu Kusmini yang beralamatkan di Desa Bulu, Kecamatan Sukomoro, Kabupaten Magetan dengan menggunakan metode simpleks. Penelitian ini dilakukan di rumah Ibu Kusmini selaku pemilik industri rumah tangga tempe kedelai. Analisis yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis menggunakan metode simpleks dengan microsoft excel fungsi solver. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan banyaknya jumlah produksi optimum dari masing-masing produk (tempe ukuran kecil, sedang, besar) pada produksi rumah tangga tempe kedelai milik ibu Kusmini sehingga memperoleh keuntungan maksimum.

Abstract

In the world of trading, optimization problems include maximizing profits (maximization) or minimizing costs (minimization), both of which can be solved using the simplex method. The aim of this research is to maximize the production profits of the Ginger Sribu herbal business group whose address is Bulu Village, Sukomoro District, Magetan Regency using the simplex method. This research was conducted at the Jahe Sribu herbal medicine house (Nur Rohmiati's mother's house) as a production site for Ginger Sribu herbal medicine. The analysis carried out in this research used the simplex method with the Microsoft Excel solver function. The instruments used were observation and interviews. The results of the research show that there is an optimum production amount for each product (small bottle of kencur rice 250ml, medium 500ml, large 600ml) in the production of the Ginger Sribu herbal medicine business group so as to obtain maximum profits.

Abstract

The low numeracy skills of students are caused by a lack of practice, the results of literature studies and interviews with class V teachers at SDN Sugihrejo 1 show that students' AKM numeracy scores are low. So, researchers are interested in creating numeracy snakes and ladders learning media for fifth grade elementary school students. The research objectives are: 1) describe the process of developing Snakes and Ladders Numeracy Learning Media for fifth grade elementary school students; 2) describe the feasibility of the Snakes and Ladders Numeracy Learning Media product for fifth grade elementary school students. This type of R&D (Research and Development) research uses a 4D model which is only carried out up to three stages of development, namely, 1) definition; 2) planning (design); and 3) development. This research resulted in 1) a development process that produced numeracy snakes and ladders learning media for fifth grade elementary school students; 2) the assessment results from 3 expert validators regarding media assessment are in the "Very Appropriate" category with an average percentage of 88%. and the assessment from the class V homeroom teacher at SDN Sugihrejo 1 got a percentage of 89%. In the content assessment by three validator lecturers, they got a percentage of 89% and the guardian teacher V SDN Sugihrejo1 got 83%, including the "Very Eligible" category. Meanwhile, the language assessment by 3 expert validators received the "Very Appropriate" category, obtaining a percentage score of 81% and the content assessment from the class V homeroom teacher at SDN Sugihrejo 1 obtained a percentage of 85%. It can be concluded that the results of the development of the numeracy snakes and ladders learning media have received the "Very Appropriate" criteria for use in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a flashcard game-based learning media called Integer Clash, which is designed to increase students' learning motivation in understanding the concept of integer operations. This media combines elements of educational games with an interactive approach, so as to create a fun and challenging learning atmosphere. The research method used is research and development. Product trials were conducted on elementary school students with data collection through observation and interviews. The results showed that the use of Integer Clash as a learning media was able to significantly increase students' learning motivation. In addition, students showed high enthusiasm in participating in learning. Based on these findings, Integer Clash can be used as an alternative effective learning media in supporting the teaching and learning process of mathematics, especially on integer operations material.
